Complex interview

Hilarious and hella real, the tech-savvy siren is accessible like no other. That’s why fanboy nation can’t get enough.

Olivia Munn has a serious jones for laughter. The 25-year-old actress, model, and host of G4 TV’s Attack of the Show! will say or do just about anything to elicit a guffaw. Though she’s been percolating for a minute—as everything from a Fox Sports sideline reporter to a Hawaiian surfer—she was never the type of fame hound to sniff out celebrity by acting scandalous. In fact, it wasn’t until she became the face of G4 in April 2006 that her sex appeal and formidable comic gift were fully unleashed. And with a role in Rob Schneider’s April comedy Big Stan, a lead in the upcoming thriller Insanitarium, and a burgeoning relationship with the guys from the Broken Lizard comedy crew, even more of you will know her, love her, and bust a…gut over her.

C: Did you ever think you’d reach the heady heights of doing a photo shoot with fake, um, ejaculate in your wig?
Olivia Munn: I’ve always aspired to it, but I didn’t know if it would ever come true. I wanted it in my eye for one of the [There’s Something About Mary homage] shots, but they said it was too much.

C: Complex is classy like that. This issue focuses on classic Hollywood comedies. What are your favorites?
Olivia Munn: Office Space is probably my top. When I grew up, everybody had New Kids on the Block posters; I had a poster of Chevy Chase. I kissed him every night. I loved Fletch. Everything that he did, I was like head over heels for.

C: Drugs included?
Olivia Munn: Well, it did make me go head over heels. [Laughs.] I follow Chevy. If that’s what he wants to do, and if he wants me to do that, then I will. No, actually, it’s kind of depressing. I loved Chevy so much, and there was a definite fall from grace.

C: We read you hate shopping “with a passion.” What does that mean?
Olivia Munn: I don’t have the discipline to become anorexic or bulimic, and when you go shopping all the time, there’s this need to fit into trendy clothes, like skinny jeans. The constant focus on what you look like—I just can’t take it.

C: You’re aware that you’re absurdly fit, right?
Olivia Munn: I’m a surfer and I’m OK with being called “athletic looking,” but when people say you look “healthy,” they mean you’re a fatty.

C: Not us!
Olivia Munn: Thank you, but I think that’s a guy’s thing. Girls are always like, “You’ve got strong calves! Don’t eat potato salad because they might get stronger—and by stronger, I mean fatter.”

C: What do you think about hardcore guys camping outside stores to buy sneakers and video game consoles?
Olivia Munn: My favorite thing on a guy is a cool shirt, sneakers, and a watch, so if a guy’s camping out to get sneakers, that’s cool. I think you can really tell a guy by the kind of shoes he puts on his feet.

C: What do guys wear that turns you off completely?
Olivia Munn: Anything that looks like an outfit he put more time into than I put into my outfit, matchy-matchy, pink shoes with a pink shirt.

C: Nonetheless, you’re generally very approachable.
Olivia Munn: I gave out my oliviamunn@gmail.com address on TV once, like “whatever”—and then I got 6,000 emails in one day. I had to make an alternate, but I still use that one. I’ve called fans if they gave me their number, too.

C: Is that ever overwhelming and/or scary?
Olivia Munn: I don’t want to be untouchable. When I was a kid, I loved Luke Perry. I sent him a five-page letter and got back one of those letters that looked hand-written, but you could tell it was just printed out. I was so upset by that. That’s why it’s important to me to be connected with the fans, because I’m not that special.

C: So true.
Olivia Munn: I meant that in a really humble way; I mean I am special because I’m not special. Nobody really says they’re not special, which in turn makes me special. [Laughs.] I just want you to really like me!

C: We’re not the only ones who do. At last year’s Comic-Con, you spent five hours signing autographs for your horde of fans. Do germs bother you when you shake that many hands?

Olivia Munn: They always have sanitizer for us. The weird thing is, I’m really O.C.D.—I wash my hands a lot and I like things in corners—but when it comes to fans, I forget to sanitize my hands. There were a lot of kisses on the cheek, too, and it just didn’t bother me after a while. I know it sounds gross, but it’s because they’re such nice, normal people.

C: So fan germs touched your body later when you showered?
Olivia Munn: I’m sure some of their germs were in my mouth. When I was in the shower, I just thought about all of them and their dirty, nasty germs all over me. I mixed their germs and saliva with lye and created a bar of soap. That’s what I bathe with now.

C: You’ve said that being stalked would confirm your celebrity. What would be your ideal stalking?
Olivia Munn: I’d like to be stalked by Shia LaBeouf. I’d like him to one day become obsessed with me, be outside my door every day, and I’m like, “Shia, dear God, go shoot Indiana Jones!” And he’s like, “No, I love you. Transformers 2 is coming out, and I need you to be in it because I can’t work another day without seeing your face.” And I’m like, “Oh, Shia, I just can’t.”

C: Have you learned a lot hosting G4’s sex advice segment “In Your Pants”?
Olivia Munn: Still a virgin.

C: A virgin?!
Olivia Munn: Oh, just in my ass. The other way, I’ve slept around a lot.

C: Are you sexually adventurous?
Olivia Munn: I can’t bring in another girl. I can’t have sex with people that I’m not emotionally attached to. And the thought of going down on a girl grosses me out. But if a guy says, like, “I want to stick this carrot in your ass,” I would be like, “Well…if that really turns you on….”

C: So you’re not the anal virgin you make yourself out to be!
Olivia Munn: [Laughs.] I’m saying if somebody wants to put a carrot in my ass! Nobody has put a carrot in my ass.

C: Complex might.
Olivia Munn: We would have to develop a relationship and feelings!

C: This is our second interview with you!
Olivia Munn: OK, what the hell. Just make sure it’s one of those baby carrots.

C: You might lose that up there. That wouldn’t be good.
Olivia Munn: OK, you could use a big one. Just use the bigger end—the pointy end might hurt. [Awkward pause.] I love awkward pauses. [Laughs.] I’m a whore for a laugh.

C: And for emotional attachment. So you were never one for making out with strangers at bars?
Olivia Munn: That’d gross me out. A group of girlfriends once had an intervention for me—this is 100 percent true. They’d always have one-night stands, but I didn’t even want to randomly make out with guys. They sat me down and said, “You know, Olivia, we just want you to know it’s OK to be a whore-dog.” I swear to God, they said “whore-dog.” I’m like, “But I don’t want to.” And they’re like, “But maybe you should.”

C: Great friends. What would it take for you to leave G4?
Olivia Munn: If they were to say, “You can’t act.” Then I’d say, “Well, I’m sorry, I have to leave.” I’m the person who’s adamant that this is not a stepping stone for me. My role might change [as I act more] and I might not be there as much, but either way I want to stay there. I love seeing the network grow and being one of the reasons it’s growing. I love the fans.

C: What’s the weirdest gig you’ve been offered?
Olivia Munn: American Gladiators wanted me to be their host, but I didn’t want to do that. I mean, I used to love American Gladiators, but I don’t want to be the host of American Gladiators.

C: You’ve said you wouldn’t do theatrical nudity without a real reason. What’s your policy on making sex tapes for personal use?
Olivia Munn: I’m not a big porno person, but I’ve seen a few here and there, and that shit does not look good. Like, I don’t want to see what my anus looks like. I really don’t. If I ever did a sex tape and it got out, I would be suicidal. I want to be in control of how people perceive me. I don’t want to be known for a sex tape or being on the cover of US Weekly; I want to be known for who I am, my hosting, my acting. I don’t walk the red carpet with my boyfriend because I don’t want to invite all that.

C: Plus, that leaves a glimmer of hope for amorous fans.
Olivia Munn: Well, I’m not married, and I cheat on my boyfriend regularly, so there’s hope for everybody!

C: Looks aside, guys love you for being into or knowledgeable about a lot of “guy things.” Is there anything guys love that you don’t?
Olivia Munn: Um, eating vagina. And I don’t like watching baseball on TV. I love going to the games and eating, but it’s the most boring sport on TV.

C: If you didn’t mention vagina, we were going to run wild with that.
Olivia Munn: [Laughs.]

UPCOMING MOVIE THIS SEPTEMBER

FIRST COMEDY MOVIE OF MASAMI NAGASAWA

MAGARE SPOON

I watched The Last Princess today and I enjoyed it a lot. Masami's performance was pretty impressive

Retouched:

Mina No.21 (2007/11/05)

nihon movie navi vol18

opening ceremony of 22th Tokyo international film festival opening last Saturday 10/17/09

her movie entry is MAGARE SPOON

Waaaahhh!!!! I've been a Masami fan for quite some time now. She was my favourite idol, before discovering Rika-chan of course Masami is gorgeous. She tops polls all the time - she's regarded as the perfect 'wife-to-be.'

Definitely, her best performance yet (for me anyway), is as Rei in Proposal Daisakusen. Which happens to be my favourite drama ever <3 ... her and Yamapi, who are known as YaMasami - I obsessed over this couple until recently when Yamapi was spotted with another girl (concrete evidence) and to heal my broken heart, I scoured the net with videos, found Rika, which then led me to IshiYoshi. Hehheee...

Anyways, here are some of my fav pics of Masami, that I don't think I've seen in this thread yet:::

And another three, which have been edited by me. Just colored it with textures and gave her a bit more makeup xD:

Isn't she beautiful?!?!

Nagasawa Masami and a starry sky made of LEDs
Actress Nagasawa Masami had the honor to light the Christmas illuminations in Tokyo Midtown on Thursday. She triggered over 70,000 LEDs to light up at the same time with only a single sign. The blue lights looked like a starry sky and even go along with the theme of her current movie "Magare! Spoon". Moved by the lights, she commented, "Amazing, beautiful. I never experience something like that." Nagasawa also revealed one of her Christmas memories. "When I was a child I received a Rika-chan doll and I ended up collecting a whole doll family including some relatives." She said with a smile on her face.

At the event they also revealed a special "Spoon Bench" to advertise the movie and Nagasawa took the opportunity to sign inside the gigantic spoon. The bench will stay there until December 25 while the movie is already going to open on the 21st this month.

Nagasawa Masami’s new calendar

On Saturday was a special event to celebrate the release of Nagasawa Masami's (22) new calendar "Nagasawa Koyomi". The calendar starts with April and contains a total of 96 pages.

Nagasawa appeared in a light outfit with shorts to promote the calendar. Creative director Yanai Michihiko took the pictures and designed the whole calendar organized in daily, weekly and monthly pages. "The calendar became a book of memories for me as well, because it shows my plain self without any make-up," Nagasawa commented with a smile.

Her favorite pages are those of June 7th-8th and July 6th. "The pictures of June show my plain self the best. There I look really different from work. The picture for July 6th was taken during the Tanabata fesitval (star festival). It's a picture that will bring back the most memories when I look at it again in the distant future."

On the other side there are also a couple of embarrassing yet natural shots like the one for October 14th. "I was slightly drunk when it was taken. I think it was after work and we had some drinks. That's how I look like when I'm drunk and have glassy eyes." An unusual sight, but only one of many memorable pictures in this unique calendar, and not just pictures! "There are actually 2 pages that don't contain any photos. There is something hidden on those pages."

http://www.kawaii-joyuu.com/?p=4956

found some previews of her calendar, and i really, really hope that someone would scan it because she's beautiful in it!

Mt. Fuji for World Heritage, Nagasawa’s support

Happy Mt. Fuji Day everyone!

Yes, February 23 is considered the Mt. Fuji Day in Japan. It's on that particular date, because of the numbers "2.23" that can be found at the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha shrine in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka.

The NPO aiming for Mt. Fuji to become a World Heritage used the day to hold their "Mt. Fuji Day Forum 2010" in Tokyo today. This organization, led by former prime minister Nakasone Yasuhiro, aims to get the title for Japan's pride by 2012. "As the pride of our nation and with the help of everyone, we anxiously look forward for Mt. Fuji to finally become a World Heritage," he opened the forum.

A couple of celebrities attended the event as well. Actress Nagasawa Masami, born in Shizuoka, was one of them and shared her story about the glorious mountain on stage. "When I had to separate from my parents to attend a junior high school in Tokyo, I always was able to see Mt. Fuji from the school window. It felt like it was supporting me through that time."

In 2007 Mt. Fuji made it on the UNESCO list of candidates and since then both the prefectures Shizuoka and Yamanashi have been preparing to achieve their goal in 2012.

Nagasawa had to cut 30cm of her hair for new movie

Back in January it was announced that the popular mountain-climbing manga "Gaku: Peak" is going to be turned into a live-action movie. Today they have finally announced that Oguri Shun (27) and Nagasawa Masami (22) are going to star in this movie, 7 years after their last movie together.

The story will be about a mountain rescue team and their intercourses with various other climbers. They filmed the movie in the snowy mountains of the Japanese Alps, ~3000m above the sea. Oguri had to overcome his fear of heights for the movie and Nagasawa had to cut more than 30cm of her hair for the role.

The training has been extra hard for Oguri. He started practicing together with a professional tour guide back in December and together they've climbed very difficult mountains already. In February they actually climbed up to the peak of Ioudake (2760m) with a 15kg back each, despite a severe snow storm with very strong winds and temperatures around -25°C (-13°F). The actually filming will become even more serious, since he will have to rescue other people with various difficult methods. "I will have to put a lot of effort in the filming from now on, but all I can think of right now is to run around mountains anyway," he said.

Nagasawa has recently been in the headlines for her drastic loss of weight, but it seems like she still has energy to climb mountains. "In the mountains you will reach the limit of your strength and you become mentally instable as well. It becomes a battle with yourself," she commented about mountain climbing.

Gaku has a budget of over $11.000.000, great settings (Happouone, Okuhotakadake, Tateyama mountains and more) and a good cast, so there is no reason not to look forward to this movie and its great pictures. The filming started on the 14th and they plan to release this movie some time next year.

Nagasawa Masami’s new Calpis CM

The CM series for the milk drink "Calpis" with actress Nagasawa Masami (22) working as a day-care worker in a kindergarten is going into another round for the spring season. This time the CM is focusing on "My Calpis" that allows you to create your own flavor for the drink.

It's set at a kindergarten and "Masami-sensei" watches over the children as they all try to make their own Calpis with "My Calpis". The children try to get her to taste their Calpis and everyone wants their own creation to be tasted first. The atmosphere really feels like that of an actual kindergarten and Nagasawa shows some kind expressions throughout the CM. There are 2 editions, the 15s version simply shows how the kids try to make Calpis and the 30s edition actually explains the history of Calpis.

"It was a lot of fun to make strawberry milk with all the children that I already worked with for last year's commercial," Nagasawa commented with a smile on her face. She really enjoyed the contact with the children during and between the filming.

"It really would be great if my children had sensei like her," the parents of the children commented on Nagasawa-sensei that you will be able to see on TV starting on April 23. Online you can already watch the commercials and watch as they make some strawberry milk. Of course there are way more flavors you can make yourself. What will be your "My Calpis" of the summer?

She's practicing for her second career.

Just about to start watching her latest drama, Gold, will post some pics of it soon. Just rewatched Touch, really a superb movie, even if you're not a Masami fan it's really worth watching, a teen drama that revolves around baseball but is done in such a classy way, highly recommend it.

Masami screenshots from the first 4 episode's of her last drama, Gold. Watching unsubbed but when she's on the screen hard to notice any words anyhow.

It's not too bad, Masami is the best part of the show, Yuki Amami is the lead in it, normally she does well though don't like her character all the much. All the episodes are ready to download but not subbed, found one place though that has the first 4 episodes subbed.

New pics of Masami promoting Ghana, lookin'

I like her any way, even bald! Know what you mean though, she does look a bit better with longer hair, gotta feeling she likes it shorter though, next time I see her though I'll express your thoughts.

For those who liked touch, i recommend the film rough (she is also one of the main characters - plus she appears in swinsuits )

oh, it's based in a story from the same mangaka - Mitsuru Adachi.

trailer:

Rough Trailer

^^ Yes, that was a good film, think her movies have overall been better than her dramas. Just viewed this one a few days ago, Robokon, think this may be her most entertaining film, really is worth seeing, can't find a trailer for it though.

Yeah, I've seen Proposal Daisakusen, been wanting to rewatch it, will shortly. Actually my fave drama from her is Dragon Zakura, watching again for at least the 7th time right now, plus it has Gakky and Hiroshi Abe, just the cast alone makes it a must watch!

Masami was awesome in the remake of セーラー服と機関銃...

The original drama is famous, its song became a great standard... and Masami sings it pretty well :

水手服和機關槍片頭

^^ Hopefully they'll finish subbing it, noticed quite often when a show has been done for a few months and the subbing isn't done it doesn't get finished too often. Enjoy some sweets in the meantime.

It's been confirmed that Nagasawa Masami will perform to the drama of NHK,"Challenge from detective X season3",which wlibbe broadcast in March.
Masami Nagasawa unfolds a witty negotiation with Naoto Takenaka of detective X post performing the female office worker post.
"Challenge from detective X season3" is the drama which synchronizes with the cellular phone novel. Before the drama is broadcast, the viewer reads the cellular phone novel serialized to the program carrying site for six days and votes the person who is thought as a criminal on the program site.

Christina Aguilera

GQ September 2006

The hottest Christina set so far:

GQ June 2006 - Larger scans

And wow, she's doing a heap for GQ lately - love that new September set! And yup, the people set sure is hot... my interest in her has revived a lot of late (and she's got a new album coming out next week I think too!)

New Pepsi CM pics:

Her new album leaked yesterday and it ain't bad. DJ Premier gave her some dope ass beats

Some random older pics from my collection...

I remember when she first started, it seemed we would NEVER get to see her body, and then suddenly it all changed. Man, I would still love to see some shaved pussy pics one day, heh heh... I wish!

So now she's pregnant? 3 months?? Comments?

Christina Augilera Nude. As In Completely Naked

I have no idea where this Christina Aguilera nude picture came from, or how old it is, but I know I've never seen it before, and that makes it new to me. Also, I don't think I should really need a reason to post pictures of Christina Aguilera naked. I believe the picture was taken by David Lachapelle, but other than that, I'm at a loss. Not that it matters. You know she's naked, right?

Update: So this picture is from the September 2004 issue of Interview magazine, and also features Pamela Anderson. Now, some people are saying Christina Aguilera's nipples have been photoshopped into the image, but I'm not sure that's the case. First, Interview is a notoriously hard magazine to scan, because of the paper quality. Second, the full image is rather low-res, and if indeed the cropped version is from a different scan, at higher resolution, it could well be legit. But I'll let you decide for yourself.

Keiko Kitagawa takes up sword in new Shuhei Fujisawa adaptation

Tue, August 4, 2009 (3:16am EDT)

Actress Keiko Kitagawa (22) will be acting in her first jidaigeki role for Kenji Nakanishi's "Hana no Ato." The movie is based on a short story by the late Shuhei Fujisawa, a prolific author who also penned such works as "Love and Honor" and "The Hidden Blade." Kitagawa plays Ito, a skilled swordswoman who is the daughter of a warrior. Ito falls in love with another member of her clan (Shuntaro Miyao), but after he commits suicide due to a plot by the clan's leader (Kamejiro Ichikawa), she takes up her sword to exact revenge.

To properly play the part, Kitagawa underwent sword training at a dojo for half a year, starting last September. Following her training, the movie was filmed between the end of March and the end of April. "Hana no Ato" is slated for a spring 2010 release.

1. Judy Miller (Still Standing) - Jami Gertz

Kinda like Joy Stark. Down-to-earth regualr woman. Plus, she's married to a fat dude.

2. Wanda McCullough (The Bernie Mac Show) - Kellita Smith

Just a bad mamma jamma.

3. Joy Stark (Til Death) - Joely Fisher

"Mt. Inappropriate" is a good place to start. I saw a girl at my first college that looked like a younger version of her.

4. Joy Turner (My Name is Earl) - Jaime Pressley

I don't know what it is, but I kinda got a thing for hot, white-trashy girls. Jaime is one of 'em. I don't know, maybe it's the cut-offs and raggedy t-shirts.

5. Angie Lopez (George Lopez Show) - Constance Marie

Angie and Carmen would make a hot mother-daughter team. (That wouldn't be a bad idea for a list)

6. Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis (Full House) - Lori Loughlin

Along with Peg, Rebecca was one of my original TV crushes. She was more like women I had seen around.

7. Jordan Sullivan (Scrubs) - Christa Miller

Her bitchy attitude and smart mouth can belittle me anytime.

8. Peg Bundy (Married...with Children) / Kate Hennesy (8 Simple Rules...) - Katy Segal

I didn't know who to go with on this one. Katy has always looked good and I think she looks her best now. I used to love Married...with Children as a kid. Even at that age I couldn't figure out why Al didn't want to have sex with her. I loved how she didn't give a fuck. Kate was just a good mother and wife.

9. Neesee James (All of Us) - LisaRaye McCoy

Don't even like the show, I just like seeing LisaRaye.

10. Midge Piniciotti (That 70s Show) - Tanya Roberts

Remember that sweater?

Affectionately called as "the nation's little sister," Moon started modeling at the age of 12 and appeared in the documentary film On the Way (1999) the following year. She came into the spotlight through her role as the young Eun-suh in the hugely popular television drama series Autumn Tale (2000). Her major breakthrough as a star was the horror film A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) directed by Kim Ji-woon. Later, she starred in such hit films as My Little Bride in 2004 and Innocent Steps in 2005.

Oh, and that video daigong posted is very cute. MGY's done quite a number of CFs, my favorite being...

Moon Geun Young - Lip Gloss CF

OMGOSH. Moon Geun Young.

I was first introduced to MGY in A Tale Of Two Sisters. I was taken in by her heart wrenching performance as Soo Yeon and her irresistible adorableness that I immediately became a fan. Because I wanted to know more about her, I started a mini-research. It was during that time I realized that I actually first laid eyes on her in Autumn Tale several years ago; I watched the drama, but I was a little kid who didn't really give a crap about stuff like that back then, so I immediately dismissed it only after a couple of episodes. So, I was kinda shocked when I learned that...

Anyway, aside from her undeniable cuteness, MGY's a brilliant actress. Has anyone seen Painter Of The Wind? She made such a convincing guy. It's no wonder she won a number of Best Actress awards. (She also managed to win a Best Couple award with Moon Chae Won for their chemistry in Painter Of The Wind. They're the first ever same sex couple to ever win it in SBS history. Woo~)

Moon Geun Young as Shin Yoon Bok, Painter Of The Wind

She makes a cute guy, too.

4. Dania Ramírez (Maya Herrera)

One of the redeeming factors of Heroes Season 2 was definitely eye candy. Dania's character has one of the lamest powers in the show and her storyline was almost unwatchable but her hotness still managed to keep me entertained.
