Yunwoo & His Grandma

Yunwoo loves his grandma! Doesn't Aiden look just like his mom? She is beautiful inside AND out. My mother-in-law is the sweetest and kindest person that I have ever met. She comes over at least 4 times a week because she wants to see Yunwoo~ she loves him! Last week she came over and told us some sad news. She will be leaving to Korea next month on May 20th... the day right after my birthday. She already bought her plane ticket to Korea. Now that she is will be turning 60 soon, she wants to goto Korea and be with her mother (still alive). When she came to the US with the whole family back in 2001, she planned to go back to Korea once Aiden and his sister graduates school and settles down. Aiden, his sister, and I are very sad.... but it's what she wants. We are all going to miss her soooo much, especially Yunwoo. Yunwoo loves his grandma so much. That is one thing that breaks my heart... Yunwoo not having his favorite grandma around. Hmm but yeah... I'm still happy for her. Atleast she will not have to work anymore and live comfortably with her mom in Korea. Her mother owns a big house in Busan and she is living there alone.

I can't believe that there is only a month left until she leaves. It feels as if MY mom is leaving.. =( I have known her for almost 10 years now. She took me in as her daughter and was always on my side whenever Aiden and I fought. There was never a SINGLE birthday she missed of mine. She always called and said happy birthday and always took me out to eat. When she went shopping and saw anything pretty, she would always get it for me. I will miss her so much.

Every time she comes over, she holds onto Yunwoo and starts crying. She said that the hardest part of leaving is not being able to see Yunwoo. Aiden always jokes and says, "WHAT!? What about me!? You like your grandson more than your son!?" hehe. She told us to come visit her in Korea after Yunwoo turns one years old. I guess that gives us a good excuse to go visit Korea soon! The last time I visited Korea was about 8 years ago! The remaining time that she is here, Aiden wants to take a lot of pictures of her with Yunwoo. He is going to make a photo album for her to take to Korea so she can look at whenever she misses him. I'm glad she's so high tech and knows how to skype and video chat! We will be doing that a lot for sure when she goes there.

She is on her way here again, so I guess I'm going to end my post here!

Draw My Life - AIDEN version

Hey guys! Aiden finally filmed his "DRAW MY LIFE" today! He had to draw on paper because he tried using the chalk that I used.. but it was too hard for him! The chalk was too small for his big hand! A lot of people were curious of when Aiden moved to the United States... it was in 2001! =) One funny part he forgot to add in his drawing was his first road trip in America! He went with me and my family on a road trip to Galveston, TX. We were having a romantic lunch on the beach alone together (facing each other sitting on the warm sand), and all of a sudden a sea gull POOPED on my face!!!! Aiden was laughing so hard while watching the poop droop down my face -_-. I was sooo embarrassed and cried... but now that we look back and think about it.. it was sooo funny and we always laugh about it! Hehe.. but yeah.. we wanted to share that story with you guys!

We actually met right before he got accepted to Baylor. Baylor University is a couple hours away from where we live. His dad needed him to help run their new family business, so he ended up going to University of Dallas Texas which was only a few minutes away from his house. That is also where I went at first, but then I transferred to UNT, which was only about 30 minutes away too. Aiden's family opened up a new Burger restaurant. Since his parents were old and didn't speak English, Aiden had to go work there everyday. He took some night classes and online classes. They ended up selling the store a year later.

Aiden's mom was diagnosed with Colon cancer in 2006. She had surgery and did a lot of chemotherapy. She is now CANCER FREE and super healthy! Woo Hoo!

Aiden also forgot to include in his drawing that he became a freelance photographer/videographer in Boston. He suddenly got an interest in cameras, so he invested a lot in buying cameras, lenses, and equipment. Aiden started off as just a photographer, but after helping me film my youtube videos, he got an interest in filming. He is now doing more wedding videos rather than taking pictures. He works with many photographers here in Dallas to film weddings videos! This is just his side/weekend job that he enjoys doing on his free time!

Perfect Day ♥ Photos

The weather was sooo perfect this day! After we took studio pictures and headed back home, we decided to stop by the park located right behind our apartment. The weather was sooo perfect so Aiden wanted to take a few pictures before we went home. I can't believe Yunwoo will be turning 7 months in two weeks!!! Soon he will be walking, running, and calling me MOM! I can't wait!! Our photographer called us today and told us that the photos are not ready yet, so to pick it up on Monday! Boooo.. I wanted to see them today! I will upload it on my blog as soon as we get it tho!

Hey everyone!!! Hope all of you guys had a great weekend!!! I wanted to do a blog post on the outfit that I wore today. We went to go eat lunch and went eye shopping at the mall! It's a very comfortable .. yet stylish look!

I'm absolutely LOVEEEEEE this fuzzy wool black sweater from H&M. I have been looking everywhere for this type of cardigan/jacket. This style is very trendy in Korea right now. The price for this cardigan was kind of expensive.. $59.95... but I had to buy it >.<. If I find an item that I really like, I buy it... because if I don't I always end up regretting it. When I go back to buy it it's never there. Atleast I know I will be wearing it a lot! It looks thick and heavy, but it's very light weight & thin.. great to wear for the spring time. It doesn't get hot at all. I got it in a size SMALL.

Hey everyone! Here are some more spring outfits that I styled! These outfits are girlie/casual styles that you can wear out to the mall, meeting friends up for lunch, etc! For those who haven't heard of 2FB... it's a Korean clothing brand that is worn by a lot of Korean celebrities! It's pretty affordable...the clothes are very cute and good quality! I wish the fabric for the pants were alittle thicker. I like wearing thick jeans/pants because my legs are soo thin lol.
BTW a lot of Korean clothes are one size -_-. To give you an idea of how it fits I'm 5'5'' and very petite! The one size cardigans comes pretty big (like a forever 21 medium), but the one size pants are kind of small... waist fits me perfectly and I'm a size 4.

My Daily Hair/Bang Styling Routine

Hey everyone! This was another highly requested video. Here is how I style my hair/bangs everyday (or every other day). I don't like to use a lot of heat on my hair, so sometimes I don't use the blow dryer and just air dry it (except for the top scalp area). If I leave my scalp to air dry, then it gets really dry and itchy for some reason. A lot of people have been asking me how I do my natural waves. All I do is scrunch up my hair while blow drying! If I want it to be more wavy, I put my hair up in a tight bun for about 30 minutes (while it is sill kind of damp), and then put it down.

A lot of people have been telling me that I looked better when I didn't have any bangs. The reason why I had to cut my bang is because I lost so much hair in the front after giving birth.... but it's in the process of growing back now! I didn't think THIS much hair would fall out after giving birth. My mom always told me to expect a lot of hair loss.... man.. she was right!

PRODUCTS USED :

- Solano Flat Iron (1.25 in) (bought it from amazon)

I LOVE this blow dryer! I bought it like eight years ago from Walmart (i think? lol). It has HOT and COLD hair... and TURBO power hehe =)

My favorite flat iron! This is the iron that I used to style my bangs in the video. My hair feels very soft and silky after straightening my hair with this! It heats very quickly and up to 450F. I bought this from amazon! (1.25 inch). My friend works at a Korean Hair Salon and this is the flat iron that they use at the salon. It is made in Korea! WHoo hoo! hehe

Love love love this Redken blow dry gel! It smells SOOOO good! I bought it from Ulta! I use about a pea size amount and apply it mainly on the ends, since I like to air dry most of my hair.

Tory Burch 'Reva' Ballerina Flat Review (Black & Gold)

Hey everyone! Aiden bought me these leather Tory Burch flats, along with the SKii products, for our anniversary gift. I've been wanting these shoes foreverrr, but I never bought it because it was so expensive. I've had these shoes for 4 days now, and I LOVE it!

As soon as Aiden paid for the shoes at Nordstrom, I took off my old worn out flats and switched to my new flats. I bought it in a size 6! After walking around the mall for about 15 minutes, I noticed that it was starting to hurt my feet (the sides because it was alittle tight). These are my first pair of leather flats, so I didn't know we have to break them in so that it stretches alittle bit before it gets comfortable. My feet is very narrow and skinny, so if you have wide feet I think these flats will hurt a lot =(. I've heard some people buy it 1/2 size bigger. These flats DO require a break-in period. As soon as I got home, I put bandaids on the areas that were hurting my feet and walked around in the shoes outside of my house. It is starting to feel more and more comfortable! I will continue to wear bandaids on my feet for a couple more weeks until I break them in and it stretches out. My friends said that they returned their Tory Burch flats because it was hurting their feet so much, but that's before they even stretched it out (they couldn't wait). If you plan on getting these flats, keep in mind that it will feel alittle tight until you break them in. The leather will stretch with wear. After that it will feel very comfortable!

These flats have elasticized heel... very comfortable! It doesn't pinch the back of my ankles at all.

What I love about these flats is that it can look very casual AND dressy. I can wear these flats with skinny jeans or leggings for a casual look... OR a dress or skirt with it to look dressy.

As you can see, my feet are not very wide. I also don't have a lot of fat on my feet (all bones lol). Some of my friends that do have more fat on their feet said the gold metal that sticks out digs into their skin and hurts.. but since my feet are so skinny there is a small space between my skin and the gold metal. -_-

Even though the bandaid may look ugly, I would rather feel comfortable in my shoes then to look pretty!

I will just do these for about 1-2 weeks more hehe.

Hey everyone!!!! I went shopping this past weekend so I wanted to share what I got! I ordered the PLNDR stuff a week ago and recieved my package on Friday! The SK-ii and Tory Burch flats were anniversary gifts from my hubby! At first when he took me to the mall to choose what I wanted, I picked a purse... but after I got home I realized that I didn't really need a new purse! I decided to switch to things that I really need : skincare products and shoes! I've heard a lot of great reviews on SK-ii products, especially their essence so I wanted to give it a try. I have been using their toner since october and I love! I am almost running out of the toner so I bought a back up. It lasted me for 5-6 months though~ pretty good! My skin has really damaged and aged after giving birth, so my mom finally convinced me to invest in a good skincare product. I've also been wanting the Tory Burch flats for soo long. I choose the shoes over the bag because I'm always wearing shoes when I leave the house, but I don't always carry a purse with me since I'm always carrying my diaper bag. I am almost running out of my SKii clear lotion (toner) so I bought another one. I bought it back in October... so it lasted me for 5 months. I didn't use it for one month because I was on my prescription medicines for my acne (the ones that my dermatologist gave me). The toner cost $60.. it may sound very expensive, but if you think about it... it's not really that bad since it will last you for several months! I've used the essence for three days now... and so far I love it! I will do a detailed review on these products when I film my updated skincare routine video! I am still waiting for my cleansing oil to arrive because I ran out. I will film it as soon as my package arrives (because I want to show it on the video).

Here are some awesome samples that the person at the SKii counter gave me (@ SAKS FIFTH AVE). Cellumination Cream, Facial Treatment Cleanser, & eye mask. The eye mask cost $110 for a pack of 14. I wonder how awesome this eye mask... =) I will do a blog post review whenever I do try this out!

2nd Wedding Anniversary

3/12/13 Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary & 9 years together ♥

On our first wedding anniversary last year, we just stayed home because that is when we first found out that I was pregnant, and my morning sickness was terrible at that time. This year he wanted to atleast take me out to a nice dinner! Aiden's parents came over and watched Yunwoo while we went out on a date. I felt so bad leaving him at home... =(. We planned on going to "Naan Sushi", which is the place he proposed to me at.... but we decided to goto a steakhouse instead! The place we went to is called Rafain Steakhouse! It cost $42.00 per person.. but it is unlimited steak, side dishes, and salad bar! Other steakhouses that I've been to is $30 for just ONE steak -_-.. so I think $42 is pretty good! I went here for my bestie Victoria's birthday dinner back in January, but it was Aiden's first time here. He is a meat LOVER, so he loved this place. The pictures came out alittle dark because the lights were so dim in there! =)

Angel & Aiden ♥ How We Met

Time for another Angel & Aiden Episode!!! Today we decided to film a video to talk about how we met. I get a lot of e-mails and comments asking how we first met!

+ Aiden and I did not goto the same highschool.
+I met "jason" on this asian online community called asianavenue.. which was really really popular back in the days! Scary how people use fake pictures! Aiden wasn't so surprised when I told him because a lot of people used his pictures. He use to have a fan club online for ulzzangs when he was young lol
+ YES yunwoo's hair is naturally that light. Aiden and I both had really light hair when we were young! :)

엔젤:그동안 많은 분들이 저희가 어떻게 만나게 되었는지 자세한 스토리를 듣고싶어하셔서 오늘은 그 이야기를 해보려고해요!!!
차니: 2001년이었나....
엔젤: 아니 2002년 말쯤 이었을거에요~인터넷에서 알게된 제이슨 이라는 LA사는 온라인 친구가 있었는데요..그 사람이 에이든의 사진을 도용해서 채팅을 한거죠..ㅋ
차니: 그래서 그남자랑 채팅한거여???-_-+++++

엔젤: 어;;;;;ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ어쨌든~~~~^^;;; 어느날 제가 살던 동내의 한인마트에서 제이슨(그당시 알던이름)을 본거죠~

(헉~!!!)그때 같이 있던 친구..아니 사촌동생에게..왜 LA있는사람이 여기 있는거야!!!??라고 물었어요~ㅋㅋ

차니: 엔젤이 그때 쎄일을 하던 가장싼 빼빼로를 계속 사는거에요..ㅋㅋ
엔젤: 맞아요~그땐 고등학생이고 돈도 없어서 빼빼로만 삿어요~ㅋㅋㅋ그래서

$1불짜리 빼빼로를 들고 오빠가 있던 레지스터에 가서 계산을 했어요~오빠가 물건들을 백에다가 넣어줬거든요~ㅋㅋㅋ

차니: 그거알어???ㅋㅋㅋ일부러 라인 바꿔다녔는데 너 계쏙 나 있는쪽에만 온거??ㅋㅋ(다 알고있었음..ㅋㅋㅋ)
엔젤: 오!!짱가(xanga)라고 있었는데 마이스패이스같은 개인 블로그였어요...거기에 글을남겼어요...오빠 뭐라고 썻는지 기억나???
차니: 블로그 테마가 너무 이뻐요!!라고 썻엇어..ㅋㅋㅋ
엔젤: 아 맞다~ㅋㅋ오빠가 그때도 뭐 꾸미고 그런거 잘해서 배경도 이쁘게 꾸며놨더라구요.ㅋㅋ
차니:전 그게 엔젤인줄 알고있었죠~ㅋㅋ그래서 엔젤 블로그에가서 똑같이 글을 남겨줬어요~"니꺼도 이쁘다~"라구요...ㅋㅋㅋ그러고 바로 5분이따가 엔젤이 저를 MSN 채팅에다가 추가했어요~ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ-_-;;;
엔젤: 그후로 계속 매일같이 채팅을 했죠~ㅋㅋㅋ전화통화는 않했어요;;;
차니: 내가 못했지(영어를 못해서요~ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ)

엔젤: 그리고 얼마후 프람(미국 고등학교 졸업때 하는 댄스파티)시즌이었어요..

4월쯤이 었던거 같아요...저희 둘다 파트너가 없어서 오빠가 같이 가자고 먼저 물어봤어요^^ㅋㅋ그게 아마 저희 첫 데이트였던거 같아요.
차니: 그전엔 서로 본적도 없었는데 참 어색햇어요..ㅋㅋㅋ
엔젤: 서로 멀리서 마트에서 본적은 있어도 만나적은 없었어요...ㅋㅋ그리고 졸업파티 당일날 오빠가 저를 대리러 왔는데...블라인드 데이트 같은 느낌이었어요.ㅋㅋ
엔젤: 저희 할머니 집으로 저를 대리러 왔는데 그날이 할머니 생일 이었어요. 저희 온가족이 거기 있었어요...대략 20~30명???ㅋㅋㅋ(주변분들까지)
차니: 한 30명쯤 될꺼야...
엔젤: 지금은 정말 다들 결혼해서 아이들까지 있으니깐 가족들만 30명 되겠네....
차니: 엔젤 처음 만나는날 엔젤 가족 전부를 본거죠~ㅋㅋㅋ
엔젤: 그때 에이든 볼려고 다들 나와서 인사해서 오빠 완전 뻘쭘해 했어요~ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
차니: 그때는 영어권 한국사람들 하고 이야기 하는게 정말 어려웠는데 진짜 어려웠어요..ㅋㅋ
엔젤:제 사촌들이 오빠한테 미국식 인사같은거도 알려주고 그랬어요~ㅋㅋㅋ

엔젤: (중략) 졸업파티에선 제가 뻘쭘했어요~오빠 학교 프람이었거든요...저는 오빠 친구들을 아무도 몰랐어요~
차니: 어색해 하는 엔젤한테 미안해서...어찌할지 모르다가 노래나올때 용기내서 엔젤 손을 잡았어요;;(제가 원래 그런성격이 아니라...허허)
엔젤: 네...오빠가 댄스플로어로 저를 데리고 나갔어요~
차니: 내가 니손 잡았지???ㅋㅋㅋ10분은 고민한거 같아요~ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
엔젤: 속으로~깜짝 놀랐어요~'헉 오빠가 내손 잡았어~!!!>_<"

그리고 춤을 췄는데 마카리나 엿나?하는노래였어요~ㅋㅋㅋ
차니: 마카리나 맞아?
엔젤: 맞을껄 그 춤추는거....그리고 슬로우 댄스를 췄는데 너무 떨리고 어색했어요~ㅋㅋㅋ
차니: 응;;정말 둘다 뭘 어찌해야될지 몰라서 멍청해 보였을꺼야...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

차니: 프람이 끝나고나니 비가 마구마구 쏟아졌어요~엔젤 드레스는 다 젖었구요~그래서 우리집으로 대리고 갔어요~
엔젤: 그때 어머니 첨으로 뵜었지..
엔젤: 정말 비가 많이와서 비속에서 뛰었어요~ㅋㅋ드라마에서 보면 비올때 남자가 자켓으로 비를 막아주고 뛰자나요..그런 비슷한 거였어요~ㅋㅋㅋ그리고 집에 대려다 줬어요

엔젤:그리고 한달쯤 뒤에 제생일날 오빠가 고백했어요~ㅋㅋㅋ^^;;;;그뒤로 9년동안 오빠는 생일하고 기념일을 한번에 챙겼어요~-_-+
차니: ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 다 생각이 있어서 그리한거야...ㅋㅋ
엔젤: 그래도 나름 생일 선물겸 기념일 선물은 잘 챙겨줬어요~ㅋㅋ한방에하는거라....
차니: 그때 엔젤집 옆에있는 공원에서 고백했었지...
엔젤: 집옆에 이쁜 공원이 있거든요
차니: 거기 아직도 기억나...밴치에 앉아서 고백했는데ㅋ 그공원에 좋은기억들이 있어~ㅋㅋㅋ
엔젤: 엄마집 갈때마다 그 공원지나가는데 그때 기억들이 나곤해요~^-^
차니: 근대..나는 또 다른 기억이 있어....그날 집에가다가 $200불짜리 과속티켓받았지...
엔젤: 같은 Dallas에 살아도 오빠 동내랑은 40분정도(운전거리)떨어져 있어서 그당시 저희들한테는 가깝지만은 않은 거리였어요...

엔젤: 그래서 오빠가 맨날 집에가다 졸면서 전화와서" 나 좀전에 졸다가 사고날뻔했어~"라고 깨워달라고 했었어요^^

엔젤: 음~이게 저희 만나게된 이야기였어요~
차니: 이건 저희가 어떻게 만났느냐에 대한 이야기고 더 많은 일들이 있었죠~
엔젤: 헐~9년이다 됬네~ㅋㅋㅋㅋ10년이 다되가네...어찌됫든...첫 대쉬는 제가했어요~
그러니 지금 누군가를 맘에 두고있는 여성분들 용기를 내어봐도 좋을꺼같아요~!!^^(오빠같이 먼저 다가오지 못하는 남자들도 있으니까요~)
