Life

2013-03-04T13:34:00.001-08:00

So life has been great in a way I woke up today with a job so I can't complain. I've been working overtime a bit because I'm buying a car in July and going to Florida in August for my 23 birthday. I've been still wearing my wig with the hair from march that I bought but I get some new hair tomorrow from my first African American male vendor he is very nice I love his hair my friend has it installed. Ill probably make future purchases as well from him he has great customer service. It just makes me proud he is out here making money the legal way. Any who ill be posting pictures this weekend I have a lot of plans for this hair. I can't wait for you guys to see.

As far as my head I have more black roots I'm trying not to dye it until June but I think I may hold off til August so I can have some fresh dyed hair but we shall see cause I'm getting the itch. I've been pretty much doing twist out buns and wigging for a while now.

Something I wrote in '10 I believe

2012-08-21T20:14:00.001-07:00

I dont write much but I thought I would post something here for my young readers if I have any. I wrote this at a time of enlightment in my life when I was realizing it was time to let things go.

On a journey....
Called “Road to happiness”
For so long I suppressed alot of my feeling towards people and events in my life because I always felt I had to be put together and be this perfect person. There were so many nights I locked myself in the bathroom crying because it was just so much pressure so much confusion ,so much hate ,and guilt. Half the time I didnt know what I was doing I just knew I was breathing and waking up. I was just existing.I hated relationships(love) and sex because to do those you had to be completely open free and naked. All of which things I didnt want to do and wasnt ready to do.
Anyway countless walks alone, many drunken nights ,self harm, plenty of anxiety attacks, meditation, and plenty of self questioning have brought me to many realizations of life and life for myself.
1)Dont feed into the crowd do what YOU like. I like reading ,singing , writing and school .I dont need to be at a club or at someones bar. If thats what you like then thats awesome but as for ME ,I will stay at home or else where
2)forgive everyone . Ive had people I once called friend, fuck me over and I always wondered why and what not and than my mom and dad always were in there own little world so I never really had anyone and that angered me but Im trying to forgive and let go. An so far Im happier than I have ever been.
3) Meditation. It helps alot. We as humans think entirely too much and with meditation no matter for 5mins or til a hr. That’s 5 mins pure bliss of no thinking. Just a relaxation of your mind .
4) Sex IS overrated. Granted I like it with the bf but simulation of the mind is way more important to me. If your sex game is all you have to offer along with your looks? Please reevaluate your situation and yourself .
5)Never need always want but never too much . I dont need certain things in life especially tons of money ,weaves, cars, and all other frivolous things . I wont do any and everything to get it nor will I stress out over it. Its not worth it .
I have many more too add and Im still on my journey but Im noticing the hardest thing is to let go of certain things and it holds me back because its the root of all my faults but thats another post for another day.

I know that this is a hair blog but just always remember hair isnt worth it.Hair it isnt every thing, spend your money on bills and and things that you need than worry about the rest. Also things happen in time.My friend and I used to work at krogers making alittle under or over 10000/year and now I work at a call center making alittle bit over 32000/year and Im also now have a second job.My friend got a new job a different call center making about the same thing. It took a total of 547 days lol for us to get a job from the day we started wishing but we searched everyday and than one day it happened. Dont give up I know these are hard times but there is something out there for you it will come with time.

Back in wig til new one is done

2012-08-16T18:41:00.001-07:00

Currently in my wig from march and I got new hair now

Finishing touch smile

2012-07-28T06:39:00.001-07:00

So I've been using this since mid June I really like it. Im not sure on how healthy this is for your teeth but my mom has been using it for longer and she has a dentist appointment coming up so I will do a update on this because teeth health is important. I used to use the mouth wash teeth whitener by crest but they leave some type of residue I believe my dentist told me so I stopped that years ago .

Now I don't have a before but my teeth weren't white but they werent high yellow either. I do things that probably should make them high yellow( I smoke and drink coffee) so for that I'm pretty happy with the results.

Price:$10
Shape: pen like with a brush

I miss my hair

2012-07-24T04:12:00.001-07:00

Maybelline fit 350

2012-07-09T06:37:00.003-07:00

So I bought it today and will try it on my face tomorrow but mini review:

Color:caramel

I love it !!! It's lite and matches my skin perfectly. I knew it would match though their make up always does . I tried cover girl once but for the most part I can never find a color in my shade that matches perfectly from them.

Price:$6.78 or so

2012-07-09T06:37:00.001-07:00

So I put in some kinky twists this weekend ,here is a pic until I can get a better one later tonight and will also give colors and price of everything later .

So update I used Tasha hair kanekalon in a 1b/30 and a 27. I used about 4 packs total and braided my edges loose.

Length check and other ....

2012-06-06T05:15:00.001-07:00

So I did a length check,I dc'd my hair and used bentonite clay than I washed shampooed and flat ironed the back. I am about 3in away. Im hoping that since I'm on my own personal mega tek challenge that hopefully I reach full apl by nov if I can get up to 1in per month or at least apl. I'm pretty happy with thickness at this point. This is the thickest it's been since I was a kid so I'm happy now it's just time to grow it longer.
So I'm also now back in my ps style 3/4 wig I didn't even wear my hair out even though I wanted to but I'm trying to reach goals here.
Final review Im sorry i thought i wrote this on here but I didnt but I liked the hair however the last bundle receieved tangled so Im currently searching for a new vendor and hopefully on my b-day ill have some hair in that I like.

2012-05-28T15:36:00.001-07:00

3/4 wig

made with same hair as before just now a wig.

Take Down

2012-05-23T04:33:00.000-07:00

So I took my hair down I think last week and I made it into a wig and added 22in 4oz. bundle to it.Here are a few pictures before I took the hair down.

I love this hair and didnt want to take it down but my braids were so loose. So I made a wig using and mens sport cap I got from sallys for $3.99.It took me about one and a 1 1/2 Harry Potter movies to finish the wig this sunday.

picture of back of wig

Now my hair is doing great I am sticking to my regimen and it has grown alot I would say I am about 2 in or so away from apl.I hope to reach apl by at least Nov or if mega tek will allow me to gain a at least 5-7in I will be happy.

So this saturday I will be proud to say I am the mother of a beautiful Iphone ,I cant wait !!!! This htc hd7 is driving me nuts I swear the stupid phone wont charge unless on the charger for 5-6 hrs or more so its time for a upgrade, plus tmobile just makes me go crazy with their customer service but thats a post for another day.Any who thanks for reading and looking at this see ya!!!

New regimen

2012-05-06T10:43:00.000-07:00

First to start off I bought some new items for my hair .

I also got from www.gardenofwisdom.com hydrolyzed keratin and bentonite clay and from http://www.saveonscents.com/ I got fragrance oils in Ambrosia, pineapple up-side down cake, deep fried ice cream, trix, awapuhi seaberry, essentials of eve:day break, roseberry, and orgasm.
I got the megatek and the keratin because Im putting myself on a challenge for six months and I wanted my formula to be like the old mega tek. I plan on changing my regimen and following the new one from the beginning of this month til the end of october and will be comparing the differences.

New Regimen :
1x per week Shampoo: Shea moisture (dont know name but its the pink bottle )
2x per week Conditioner :bases and tressemme naturals mixed with oils
everyday Viatimins:hsn,msm,biotin
4-5x per week Growth oils : evoo mixed with sulfur and megatek with a bit of hydrolyzed keratin added since this is the new formula and not the old
1x per month Clarify: bentonite clay

I will be using crisco as my new sealant hence the fragrance oils because they will be added to make my hair smell good as well they will be added to the megatek mix.

Im so excited I cant wait til the scents come next week, I think my post will now focus on mixes and reviews of the fragrance oils. In advance I want to say sorry if in the next two weeks I don't post I start training again at my job for the other half of my new position so I may or may not be posting,I will have to see.

Sorry just doesn't cut it
