Summer Beauty Tips!

Hey girls!
So we all know the hot summer months can sometimes be a grueling experience for our hair and skin, so today's post is all about how to enjoy your summer while still looking gorgeous!

Protect your skin!

If you're stepping out and into the bright, bright sun, the best thing you can do for your skin is apply a good sun screen! UV rays can be harmful to the skin, also causing pre-mature wrinkles (cue the screams!) Applying a light sunscreen before you apply your makeup can work wonders, some of my favorites are Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen, L'OREAL Sublime Sun ( A luxurious, milky textured sunscreen) and Neutrogena Age Shield Sunblock. All of these sun protectants can be purchased at your local drugstore. The final piece of the magic is just to find one that suites your skin best!

Hair Masks & Treatments

Now I know the above photo may look a bit icky or even frightening, but I PROMISE it's one of the best hair treatments out there! During the summer, our locks are constantly exposed to chlorine and salt water, causing our hair to become dry and brittle. One of my favorite hair masks is the avocado hair mask, not only in the summer, but all year round. Honey and olive oil added to the avocado makes for a amazingly hydrating treatment for your hair. Avocados are full of monounsaturated fat, this fat adds beautiful shine to your hair. It's also crazy full of Vitamins E & C, resulting in healthy hair!

If this seems a little out of your comfort, there are also store bought treatments you can try that can give you some of the same benefits of the avocado.

Easy Avocado Hair Mask Recipe

1/2 of and avocado

1 tsp of olive oil

1 tsp of honey

*Mash avocado in a bowl until smooth, stir in olive oil and honey.

Apply treatment to hair and allow 15-20 minutes to work its magic,

rinse out and follow up with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner.*

Kissable lips

So you're laying out on the beach, you've got your favorite book in hand, an icy cold drink and friends by your side but UH-OH---- You forgot to protect those pretty little lips! Now you're stuck with sun burnt lips and the after math can sometimes be pretty ugly. Remember that your lips are a part of your skin too! When applying sunscreen, don't neglect your lips! Apply a lip balm that has SPF in it, along with a moisturizing formula. Some of my favorites are Maybelline Baby Lips and Kiehls Lip Balm #1. For over night moisturizing try the Nivea Lip Butters, my personal favorite is the Raspberry Rose Kiss flavor!

Water, water, water!

Now after all we do as girls, primping, curling and everything else, we must never forget that beauty comes from the inside first and foremost. Drinking lots of water not only has us feeling great and healthy but also projects wonderful results on the outside! By substituting water for sugary drinks, you'll feel healthier and maybe even shed a few pounds! Water also hydrates your skin and hair, giving you an all around glowing look.

Hi guys! So lately I've been OBSESSED with finding the perfect summer lip color, and through my hunt I've come across a few lovely shades to sport during the warm summer months!

So starting from lightest to brightest, one of my all time favorite balms is the Rosebud Salve in their strawberry flavor. First off, it smells so yummy! I love putting this on my lips before bed, because it leaves your lips so soft and moisturized.

Next up, Loreal's Colour Riche Balm in the color "Caring Coral". This a beautiful tinted balm, for those days when you don't feel like wearing a heavier lip product. It's super creamy, moisturizing and gives your lips the perfect shine.

Now this next product is probably my ALL TIME favorite of the moment! I have completely fallen in love with Maybelline's Baby Lips in "Pink Punch". Not only does this balm give you a pretty tint of pink but it smells AMAZING! I can't stop smelling it! It smells just like a sweet, fruit punch. This a definitely a must have makeup essential for these hot, summer days.

So the next product is yet another balm, if you couldn't tell I've been a little infatuated with pink balms this summer :). This product was actually an awesome find for a very low price, it's an Easy Shine lip balm in the color "Watermelon Juice" and get this... it only cost me 99 cents! The color payoff is bright and beautiful and I'm glad I accidentally came across this product. You can find this lip product at your local Walgreens or online.

Last, we're through with all of the lip balm and on to a bright lipstick! Revlon's "Siren" has proved to be a bold, bright coral that has been a wonderful compliment to any outfit this summer. When I wear this lip product, I like to make the rest of my makeup very neutral and then finish it off with this bold pop of color!

Makeup Organization??

Hi guys! So I've been trying to find a great way to organize my makeup and I'm never really happy with my makeup storage. I'm in the process of giving my bedroom a makeover so I'm going to drastically change my makeup organization. That said, do any of you have cute, organizational tips??! I prefer something where I can see everything so that way it makes reaching for products very easy. In the mean time, here's a look at the way I organize my makeup now.

So I basically store my makeup in these plastic boxes inside the top drawer of my dresser. Now I don't have a massive makeup collection but I do need lots of space for what I do have! And so far this is working out okay.

Startting from the left, the first bin consists of blush, from M.A.C. blushes to drugstore blushes, everything is placed in the same bin. In the next bin, I store individual eyeshadows, and small palettes, and I have a random translucent powered thrown in there!

Okay so starting clockwise, the little bin hiding in the back is storing my travel mascaras and liquid eyeliners. Next to the right, are eye pencils. And in the small red box I store some of my lipsticks, then to the left of that, I store my glosses and balms.

So here is a top view of my dresser. I've had this huge thing forever and I'm really looking forward to getting a new one, but on top I have what I think is a desk organizer I purchased from Target. This basically holds all of my go-to make, the makeup I use on a daily basis.

I do have a few foundations in my "daily collection" because I always feel different when it comes to foundation day to day. Sometimes, I want a light coverage, sometimes I want more coverage so I just have those there for easy access. Then to the right of that sits a few of my favorite perfumes.

I also thought I would show you guys a close up view of how I store my brushes. In this first holder I store all my eyeshadow brushes and other small makeup brushes. I purchased this holder on amazon.com.

I purchased this next cute little container from Target for $1! Target really does have the cutest things in their dollar section and if you look well enough you can always find something useful! Here I store my bigger brushes, my powder brushes and foundation brushes.

Here I have another dollar container from Target and here I store my eyeshadow, concealer and blush palettes.

And here is just a side view of my palettes. :)

So that's how I store and organize my makeup! I'm still not completely happy with it and I'm sure there will be some changes in the near future until I get everything just right. I hope this was helpful if you're trying to figure out a way to store all you lovely beauty products!

Outfit of the day!

Hi guys! Long time no blog! haha I got so into my YouTube channel that I kind of neglected the blog a bit but I am going to try and make it a habit to post at least once a week! I thought maybe outfit of the days would be fun, we're all girls we all love clothes! So here are a couple of my outfits of the day :)

So in the first photo, I'm wearing just a very casual day out outfit. Black shorts from Torrid, a basic black tee from Target, a cream colored, grey stripped cardigan from Target. Then for shoes, I am wearing these cute and comfy rose gold flats also from Target ( I love Target if you couldn't tell already!) For jewelry I'm wearing a bunch of random bracelets with my watch from Guess and for hair and makeup a simple winged liner and a top knot bun. Oh! And I also forgot my favorite piece of the outfit, my new black, leather Michael Kors bag that my wonderful grandma gifted to me for my birthday!!<3

Okay in this second outfit, I don't have a full length view of what I'm wearing, this was more focused on accessories... so in a clockwise direction, in the first photo I am wearing a beautiful pastel scarf I bought on sale at Bealls and I have been wearing the hec out of it! Next, I am wearing again, my random bracelets and a silver boyfriend watch from Torrid. My bag is another amazing birthday gift and I'm in LOVE with it and it is the Ann Taylor Club Stripe Tote which is beautiful for summer. On my nails I am wearing Revlon's Tops Speed in "Royal". :)

So I hope you all enjoyed this post. I love reading makeup and fashion blogs to get a little bit if insight on what other girls are wearing and pairing for spring and summer this year. So I hope you found this some what interesting :)

Coastal Scents 10 Blush Palette!

I am so obsessed with blush! I'm always hunting for new, beautiful, unique colors! Blush can make such a difference in your complexion. Pop some blush on the apples of your cheeks and you instantly look so much more vibrant and awake! I recently purchased the 10 Blush Palette from Coastal Scents and....I am in LOVE!

To begin, the packaging is a very durable, matte, plastic casing. I know that if I were to travel with this palette, I wouldn't worry too much about potential cracking of my blushes.

So as you can see, this palette includes a wide variety of amazing colors! From neutrals to bright pinks, you seriously have a blush for every occasion. For powder blushes, their finish is smooth satiny smooth. This palette includes the perfect colors for all seasons as well! I've found the cocoa color to be a nice contouring shade, it's easy to blend and work with it. Although the packaging is pretty and all, how is the pigment?? For the most part, the pigmentation is lovely. Although you don't receive a bold concentration of color like you would with a M.A.C. blush, it still gives you just enough color. It isn't sheer or chalky and this palette should last you a long time. The best part about this blush is it costs.... ready?!.... $15.95! You get ten stunning blushes for under $20, and that's always a plus!

Below are swatches of the top row blushes, from left to right. This row includes light peachy pinks to coral copper shades.

Here are the bottom row swatches from left to right. I am currently in LOVE with the first blush in this row, it's such a pretty, almost barbie-like pink but translates so naturally on the skin.

A carrot juice scrub for healthy beautiful skin!

Hi everyone! So today's post is going to explain all the benefits of carrot juice along with a step by step process to making your own carrot juice scrub!

Benefits of carrots & carrot juice:

So carrots are wonderful for your overall health but they also contain wonderful things for your skin and complextion! First, carrots contain tons of vitiman A, vital to a healthy body and it does wonders for the skin. Vitamin A is also wonderful for your immune system, it is proven that individuals who consume large amounts of Vitamin A are less sesseptible to early aging and have a strong immune system.

When it comes to the skin, carrots have been proven to treat acne, scaring and wrinkles. They also contain potassium which is wonderful for maintaining a beautiful, glowy complextion!

Do it yourself carrot juice scrub!

What you will need:

-Organic 100% carrot juice

-Honey

-Brown Sugar oe cane sugar (if you have dry skin)

Favorite Spring Polishes!

So Spring is here! Well at least it seems that way here in Florida! So it's time to break out those pretty spring colors from your nail polish collection. I've decided to share four of my favorites with you all! :)

So first off, is a polish I've been wearing a lot lately because the color is just so gorgeous!

It's a new polish by Loreal called "Club Prive", a lovely sea foam/mint color.

I love this color for Spring because I find it to be a nice, fresh pop of color. The only down side to this polish is that it's quite sheer. So instead of applying two coats like you normally would, I suggest a third just to ensure you achieve its true color.

Next up: "Mezmerised" by: essie

Again I am loving this polish for it's brilliant, bright color! I've really found myself loving essie's nail polishes, they have such a wide range of beautiful colors as well as beautiful pastel colored polishes. This would be a great polish to sport maybe to barbecue or a beach day! :)

Moving on we have: "Paz-itively Hot" by: O.P.I.

This is a bright pink color with undertones of subtle, iridescent blues and purples, with a bit of a shimmery finish.

O.P.I. is one of the best polish brands...THE best, in my opinion. So you'll find the pigment and finish in their polishes is always perfect! This is such a sweet, romantic color.

Last is another color by the fabulous O.P.I. "Lucky Lucky Lavender".

As you can probably guess by its name, this polish is a beautiful, pastel, lavender color. It's a perfect color for spring! It almost reminds me of the color of some Easter eggs kids will be hunting for this spring. :) Again the pigment and finish in the polish is simply lovely.

Below I included my strange and unique way of swatching the polishes! :)

Christina & the Classic look!

Not only is Christina Aguilera, a breath taking, powerful, legendary singer, the girl has a GORGEOUS look! Some have argued that her style has depleted over the years, but once in a while she pulls out the red lipstick and works her version of the beautiful classic pin up look. Beautiful cat eyes, ruby red lips and a light flush of pink to the cheeks make for a polished, classic look.

Anyone can pull off this vintage inspired look don't be afraid of red girls!

Red is daring and when you pick the right shade you'll stand out beautifully!

Picking RED lipsticks:

Cool undertone skin complexions go for lipsticks with cooler, blue undertones.

Warm undertone skin complexions go for warmer, orange undertone lipsticks!

Neutral skin tones... lucky you! You can go for both types of shades!

Steps to pulling off the classic look:

1. Apply foundation. Choose something with a light, airy finish to keep you skin looking flawless.

2. Apply translucent powder to seal in the foundation.

3. Prime the eyes and apply a light flush of champagne to the lid.

4. Take your favorite liner, I would suggest gel or liquid, and line your top lid. Build until you get your desired look, wing out the ends. Use Q-tips to remove any mistakes, mistakes are normal and okay. Practice make perfect!

5. CURLLL those lashes & apply a mascara that will give you lots of volume!

6. Apply a light, pink blush to the cheeks.

7. On goes the red! Apply your red lips!

And you're ready for a night out with this pin up inspired look!

Laura Geller Color Confections!

Hi everyone! So for Christmas I received a gift card for Beauty.com and if you haven't checked this site out, you must! There's such a huge variety of amazing beauty products all on one website. When shopping with my gift card, I came across the Laura Geller Color Confections Gift Set, which includes 3 eyeshadows and 3 lip glosses... priced at only $20.00! I received the set in the mail last week and I wanted to try the products out for at least a week before I ranted or raved about this product.

So I have to say, that I'm very impressed with the eyeshadows. First the packaging is so incredibly cute and miniature. I like how the shadows are in their own, individual cases, rather being thrown into a pan or a palette. With palettes, I feel they're more prone to cracking or breaking, and then you end up losing all of your product. They're also similar the casing for the M.A.C. shadows. I have to say so far, I really like these eyeshadows. They blend easily without making you're makeup look muddy or "sparkly", they do have a iridescent, light shimmery finish to them. I find the pigmentation to be just lovely!

Candied Copper, Malted Mauve, Cotton Candy

Candied Copper is my favorite! It's such a beautiful, neutral color.

Although I really love the eyeshadows, I'm not too crazy about the lip glosses. I'm not a lip gloss fan in general but, I thought I would give these a try anyway. I find that when lip gloss comes out of anything besides a tube, it's quite difficult to apply. I found the texture in these to be a little tough, personally. The pigmentation in these is very light. If you are a lip gloss girl and if you like light, subtle color, you may just enjoy these. This product also includes vitamin E plus sesame oil to smooth and condition your lips!

Toasted Marshmallow, Peach Jam, Strawberry Frosting

AVEENO Positively Radient Brightening Cleanser

So I've been using this cleanser for the past two weeks and I absolutely LOVE it!

I've always loved Aveeno products because of the crisp, refreshing feeling it leaves on your skin.

This new Cleanser, claims to do the following: Lift aways dirt and oils without over drying the skin.

It's also hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic, and I believe so far, it has done so for my skin! So whether you have sensitive skin or not this is a wonderful, beneficial cleanser. This collection from Aveeno combines the active benefits of soy with beauty and radiance. Soy is beneficial to the skin because it evens out skin tone and and brings a natural brightness to the skin!

Other benefits of soy:

-Soy proteins reduce discoloration in the skin

-Reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles

-Reduces the appearance of unwanted hair

-Moisturizes the skin and includes Vitamin E, which will protect the skin from free radicals

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation

So I've heard many beauty vloggers and bloggers rave about this foundation, so I decided to do a little research before I made this bit of a pricy purchase and finally.....I gave in. I'm so happy I did so! I am in love with this foundation for a few reasons:

I love that this foundation contains SPF 15. I'm all about protecting the skin from premature wrinkles and aging from the sun, so when you find a foundation that includes SPF that's always an added bonus.

Although the bottle does seem teeny tiny, it's 30 ml. Which is plenty considering you don't need to dispense much to cover the entire face.

The texture and formula of this foundation is the best part, it's light and very water based. So if you're a girl who doesn't like to wear much on your face, or you're looking for something not so heavy to wear in the spring and summer months, this would be a good pick for you. On the other hand, if you're someone who likes heavy coverage, for example M.A.C. Foundations, then you may not be too fond of this one. If you do enjoy lighter feeling foundations, foundations that let your skin breathe, I would highly recommend this. As soon as you apply it, your face just feels so amazingly refreshed! It also smells just lovely!

I would recommend either trying this foundation out at a Chanel store/Chanel Make up counter or requesting a sample, just to be sure you absolutely sure you love it before purchasing it, just because it is a little pricy.

This Foundation sells for $45.00 in 10 different shades.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! It's been ages since I've posted! I, like all of us have been SO swamped because of the holidays and what not, but now it's time to get back on track. :) I feel New Years resolutions are so overrated but I've decided to set a few beauty resolutions for myself....just 3 things to change about my beauty habits and routines.

1. ALWAYS remove makeup before bed! I know, I know it's a difficult one especially when you see your face hitting your plush pillow because you're so exhausted from you day, BUT there will be such a change in your skin! When you fall asleep with makeup, you're resting with not only all the oils and chemicals in your makeup but with all the excess oil and bacteria your face has collected throughout the day. Trapping all that yucky stuff at night is not beneficial for the skin at all, it will also prone breakouts. Then when you go to bed and lay your face upon your comfy sheets, you're spreading all of that lovely dirt to your sheets to sleep on night after night. Not a nice thought or pretty picture. So my goal is remove all my makeup no matter how sleepy I am! :)

2. Along with removing all makeup I want to keep up with my night skin care routine which includes:
-Moisturizing
-Night Serum
-Keils Avocado under eye cream
-Anti-wrinkle cream (It's never too early to start taking care of wrinkles!)
-Lip balm

Your skin will see a wondrous difference! :)

3. My last goal is to NOT buy any expensive beauty products without doing good research before hand. You always want to make sure what you're buying is worth the money in not just some faux fad that everyone is raving about, that happens quite often with beauty products. So I will make sure the product is worth the bucks! So do your research, watch and read as many reviews as you can! :)

Holiday Nail Tutorial!

Hi everyone! So I was rummaging through my nail polishes and decided to combine two different polishes to create a fun Holiday look. :)

What you will need:

*Your favorite red nail polish

*Your favorite clear top coat

*Some sort of gold glitter polish

*A couple of cosmetic sponges

*A paper Towel

Step 1: Apply two coats of the red nail polish as a base coat.

Step 2: After the red dries, pour a bit of the gold glitter on to a cosmetic sponge.

Step 3: Dab the coated sponge on to your nails until you get the desired pattern.

Step 4: Once everything dries, apply 2 coats of you favorite clear top coat.

And here is the finished product!

Multi colored hair!

Hi girls! So I've been doing some research and I've come a across a very interesting, beautiful trend particulary amongst celebrities...multi colored hair tips! It's a very bold, brave look to rock and there are a few ways to do this:

1. Hair color: If you're a brave chick and want this to be a permanant look, I would suggest picking your 3-4 favorite colors for your ends and making an appointment with a colorist. This is very different from dying your hair just one, consistant color and I'm sure you want it to look as polished as possible, so let a professional get the job done ;)

2. Wash out color: There's buzz going around about the "Kevin Murphey Color Bug", it's a wash out color that comes in powder form, pressed into a pod. You simply rub the pod onto the ends of the hair hair and voila! You have amazing color without the commitment!

3. Clip ins: Personally, I would stay away from any sort of clip ins but there are some good quality pieces out there. I would also suggest maybe curling your hair to blend the hair pieces with your real hair, just to give a more realistic look :)

November Favorites!

Hi everyone! So I've enjoyed 5 new products this November and I've decided to share them all with you! I've fallen in love with each and every one of these products, so here we go! :)

LOLA By: Marc Jacobs

So this is first and foremost, my favorite fragrance of the moment! I've heard a lot of buzz about this product and I am a fan of Marc Jacobs, so I went ahead and went for the purchase. This product retails for about $88, but I bought it from TJ MAXX for $50! Great deal! What first attracted me to this fragrance was of course, the beautiful bottle, its enchanting purple bottom and most importantly the HUGE flower top, its look is just so amazing and enticing, but of course a bottle can look pretty but smell awful, but personally for me I got the best of both! I'm a fan of more cleaner, elegant scents. I've never really been a fan of fruity or sweet scents, so I was pleased that this was nothing like that. If you happen to be a fan of those sweeter scents, then this may not be a perfume for you, unless you would like to try something different. I would suggest smelling this at a counter of course before making such a big purchase, see if it suits your personal preference. :)

Revlon Lip Butters

So this is new release by Revlon, and I absolutely love them! The 2 colors that I'm loving right now are, "Candy Apple" and "Strawberry Shortcake". Basically these products are like a really pigmented, tinted, lip balm. They're very creamy, and unscented. Sometimes scents bother girls when it comes to lip products, but with these you don't have to worry about that at all. I'm actually wearing the "Candy Apple" lip butter in the picture at the top, I'm so in love with it! There are so many colors to choose from to fit your personal style, including beautiful colors for the fall and winter seasons!

Physician's Formula Liquid Eyeliner

So this is my favorite drug store eyeliner thus far. The felt, pointed tip makes application super easy. When the liquid dispenses it's not overly runny like other eyeliners, too much liquid being dispensed can sometimes just become a complete disaster. So if you don't feel too confident about applying liquid eyeliner, I would really recommend this product. I'm also sporting this eyeliner in the photo at the very top! It will give you beautiful precision.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge

So this product is a double product, you can you use this on your cheeks as well as your lips!

The pot rouge has a nice, creamy consistency to it, that isn't greasy or sticky in any way. The color shown above is "Blushed Rose" a nice, deep pink with warm, brown undertones, which I think is perfect for projecting those beautiful fall colors in your makeup.

Maybelline Waterproof Stiletto Mascara:

For me, it's always tough finding a good waterproof mascara, but I think I've finally got my hands on a good one! I like to use a separate, waterproof mascara on bottom lashes compared to what I use on my top lashes, only because bottom lash mascara has a tendency to smudge easily. This mascara lasts wonderfully all day and I love the wand, it's long and has a nice curve to it for easy, convenient application.

First Date Bust

Okay ladies so this is where the life portion comes into this blog. First dates are always a teeter-totter kind of event. They can be amazingly magical or they can end up being a nightmare. I recently went out with this guy and this was one of those not so storybook dates. Not to say that this guy wasn't a sweet gentleman, he just wasn't for me. He did all the right things, paid for my movie ticket, opened doors, used the phrase: "after you." So what's the problem? I don't know if this is the same for any of you girls, but I am not a forward girl at all, when a guy you hardly know mentions buying you future jewelry, or offers to hold your hand when you're clearly not feeling the date, I am not impressed, in fact I'm a little uneasy. People say "The Spark" is a bunch of garbage that isn't real, but honestly it has to be somewhat real, you know whether or not you feel some kind of something between the two of you. You will know when you feel something within the first 10 minutes of the date, and if you don't it's not your fault, it doesn't make you or that person, a bad person. It just wasn't meant to be. You will have other dates, and life will go on.

A few first date tips:

*Keep your makeup looking natural: You don't want to put on a heavy "mask" that conceals all of your beautiful features, plus I've talked to a few guys and a lot of them aren't really fans of lots of makeup, they're more interested in seeing your natural beauty.

*Dress Appropriate: Make sure you dress for the occasion. Is it a casual date? A dressy date? Whatever outfit you choose to wear, you don't want to give off the wrong idea. If you wear a dress, you want it to have a cute but respectable length. Try and avoid low cut tops, or anything sleeveless, and if it's chilly outside, don't avoid sweaters and scarves just so you can show off your cute outfit. You can wear fall and winter cloths and still look cute! And always wear comfy shoes! You don't want to be limping by the end of the date.

*Be polite: Please and thank yous for everything! :)

*Stick it out: Even if you feel the date is not going well, be polite and stick it out until the end, unless you have a very good reason not to.

*No Pressure: Don't give in to pressure, if the guy wants to hold your hand, put his arm around you or kiss you at the end of the date, if you are NOT feeling it, you DON'T need to do it. Don't feel obligated to do any of these things, you don't owe this guy anything. All of those things will come when you're good and ready.

* Be open-minded and have fun!

Basic things to keep in your beauty collection!

Hi ladies! So we all have those favorite, basic things we like to keep in our makeup bag, but here are a few of my favorite basic products I like to use on a daily basis :)

1. Lotion, lotion, lotion!
It is so important to have a good moisturizing lotion, especially if you have dry skin. Apply all over, right after you shower I find to be best. It is important to make sure that your skin is always hydrated so that it stays soft and healthy!

My favorite lotion of the moment is Eucerin Calming Cream. I know it's not the prettiest looking lotion, and it's also fragrant free BUT it does make you skin feel so soft and amazing!

2. Lip balm:

Lip balm is a wonderful product to have, especially during this time of the year. The cold, winter air tends to really dry out your skin and sometimes can cause very chapped lips, not a good look. So apply, apply, apply all day long. I like to apply a little bit before bed in order to wake up with nice soft lips!

Kiels lipbalm is my favorite lipbalm of the moment. It's very refreshing and has a wonderful, moisturizing formula to it. This company has a number of amazing products, including an avacado under eye cream which I am in LOVE with! Kiels is an amazing company that has been around sice the 1800's!

3. Cream blush

A lot of us girls are always running around leading busy lives. Cream blush can give your cheeks that pop of color it needs in the middle of the day. It's easy to apply you can just pop it on with your fingers and be done with it. :)

My favorite cream blush of the moment is the pot rouge by Bobbi Brown in the color coral.

4. An eyeshadow quad

Again living busy lives you either need to re-apply your eye shadow or change you look from a day look, to a night look. So an eyeshadow quad is a perfect thing to have in your bag. I reccomend two nuetral colors and two darker colors. That way you have enough to work with if you need to transform a simple look to a more dramatic look. :)

The MAC costomizable quads are amazing! You can pick and choose your two favorite lighter shades and your two favorite darker shads, and the shadows are so wonderfully pigmented!

5. H2O
I know this isn't a technically a beauty product but in my eyes it is. Water is vital to keeping a healthy complextion and hydrated skin plus it isnt full of sugar and artificial flavorings that aren't always best for your body. If you know me, my favorite water in the whole world is Evian! I don't know what it is about this particular water I just think it has a nice, crisp taste to it :)

New Fragrance!

Hi all! So I recently purchased a new fragrance: Burberry For Women

This isn't a newly released fragrance from Burberry or anything, it's one of their standard perfumes, and I have to say I LOVE IT!!

BURBERRY describes this fragrance as:

"A fruity fragrance with top notes of blackcurrant and fresh green apple
Combined with heart notes of cedar wood, jasmine, moss and sandalwood, the fragrance has a rich and sensual tone
Musk and vanilla smooth the scent for a gentle warmth"

In this fragrance I can clearly smell the cedar wood and the fruity bits of it. I think it smells so warm, wonderful and it lasts so well throughout the day. Once you buy a new fragrance, one of the most important tests is how it smells on your body at the end of the day. All perfumes smell different on everyone, we all have different, natural chemicals and odors in our body and in our skin. You may love the way a perfume smells on your friend, but it may smell differently on you. If you're interested in an expensive perfume, I suggest you pick up a free sample from the mall before you go and spend money on something you may or may not like. Take the sample dab it on in the morning and go throughout your normal day. Whether that be school, work, shopping, running errands, and the end of the day you'll know if that is the perfume for you. If you find you still smell fresh and light, and most importantly, to me anyway, you don't have a headache... then you've found a fragrance that works for you!

I wore this perfume all day, through school and work and all day I received compliments on the way I smelled! This is another important test, if others around you find that the fragrance smells wonderful on you, you have a winner! Overall, I'm happy I experimented with this perfume because I have really grown to love it, I think it'll be a perfect, rich, warm fragrance for the fall.

Tips for applying Perfume:

Never over apply! You never want to drown others in the smell of your perfume, It's nice when people can have a nice effect of the perfume when you walk by or give them a hug. Suggested points to apply perfume are, on one of your wrists, pat it together with the other wrist. Lightly on the neck and a little in the hair. If you don't like spraying too much perfume directly on your body, you can lightly spray your clothes before you get dressed in the morning. Good luck girls!<3

Hi all! So e.l.f. has released a few new products for the fall and winter seasons, one of them being the

Flawless Fresh Face Palette

This palette includes 4 shimmer creams, 4 shades of concealer, blush and a bronzer.

The four shimmer creams come in a white pearl color, a cream color, a light pink color and a dark pink color. These are great to apply right after blush on the highest point of your cheek bones. It will give your skin that nice glowy, dewy look, a beautiful look for fall and those upcoming Christmas parties!

I found these concealers to be very light and non-greasy which is great, but on the down side the coverage isn't so great. These concealers would most likely work best if you want to lightly conceal small blemishes or something of that sort, not dark circles or redness. The concealers come in fair, light, medium and medium to dark.

I found the blush and bronzer to be such fun and I can't wait to continue to use them throughout the season.

It doesn't really show up well in the photograph but the blush and bronzer do actually have a bit of gold speck in it, which will give your cheeks a nice shimmer, if you're a fan of that kind of look.

So far, I've really enjoyed this palette and the great thing about e.l.f. products is that they are so affordable! This product was priced at ONLY $5!

To get a great product for a great price is very rare these days. This would make an amazing Christmas gift as well as a handful of their other products. So I hope you go out and give this a try or gift it to friends or family!

Physicians Formula: Organic Wear Jumbo Mascara

I don't know if maybe this is just my perception but, I was under the impression that "jumbo" meant the actual mascara tube would be a lot chunkier than it actually was. The box is pretty bulky but the actual tube is a bit flattened and hollow.

Although I'm not a fan of how thin and light the packaging is, the design is pretty neat. The cap has an interesting, curvy leaf shape and has a nice, green, metallic finish.

Comfort & Style

Hi all! I know it has been a while since I've last posted but I just wanted to do a quick post about style and comfort when it comes to clothing. It's always important to feel beautiful and confident in your outfit but you want to be comfy as well. I'm going to a concert this weekend and I've decided to post some outfit ideas. It's an all standing room, so you can imagine how tired my feet will become! I'll also become pretty friendly with the other audience members because we'll all be pushed into one small space. I want to look good but I also want this outfit to be functional. Here are of few options I'm thinking about:

The first option is a pair of jeans, paired with a plain black t-shit topped off with a simple, black blazer. On your feet, you can do this with flats as shown in the photo or some sandals. Simple, comfortable, and a combination of dressy and casual.

The second option is the most comfortable option out of the three. A loose fitting t-shirt, your favorite jeans, a simple belt, and flip flops. If you want that really, simple casual look this would be the outfit. If you're going to an outdoor concert, this would also be an ideal option especially if you live in sunny Florida like I do, you don't want so be suffocating in your clothes!

The last option is a beautiful sun dress paired with cardigan. If you want that sweet, simple look here it is. To keep this outfit comfortable you want to make sure you keep the shoes comfortable, for example, a pair of cute sandals or flats. You don't want the dress to be too long, especially if you're in a crowded room, people stepping on your dress will end badly...hehe. This is great, fun weekend outfit perfect for mellow show.

Basically have fun with your outfit, explore the options and will remember to keep it functional and fashionable!

I have to admit the only reason I went for this foundation in the first place is because my girl Taylor Swift is Covergirl's newest Covergirl! I know I'm the typical, young consumer, but this product actually turned out to be a good buy. This foundation claims to be very light weight and silky, and I have to say that it feels just that way. I wear this in the color "Honeywood", I squeeze a small amount on to the top of my hand and with a stippling brush or any other foundation brush, I pick the product up off my hand and I apply this all over my face and neck. I LOVE the finished look. it gives your face that flawless finish. It works to cover up and redness or dark spots on the skin and you won't find it to be heavy or greasy.

Now this is the perfect product to dust over the Nature Silk Foundation. I wear this product in the color light to medium. This is a foundation that will eliminate shine and any unevenness in your skin tone, just the right powder for photos. Sometimes when you take pictures out with your friends, you'll notice that you're nose and forehead end up looking a little shiny, throw this in your bag when you go out and touch up those areas right before pictures. You'll find it to give you a beautiful, matte, perfected look.

10 things to keep in your bag

So we're all busy girls, leading busy lives, but throughout the day we want to make sure we stay fresh and touched up. Below are a few products that I like to carry in my bag with me everyday. :)

1. Say Yes to Cucumber travel facial wipes: These wipes give you a nice, cool refreshing feeling to the skin. They're great to keep in your bag while out at the park, at the gym or traveling for long periods of time. They give you just the right amount of perk to your skin and not to mention they smell amazing!

2. Blotting papers: blotting papers are especially helpful for those with oily skin. No one likes to have that excess, shine to our forehead, nose or cheeks, so when this happens pull put your handy dandy blotting sheets and gently dab a sheet along the T-zone (nose bridge and across the forehead) to remove any excess dirt, oil and shine. You can pick up blotting sheets in any makeup store or makeup counter.

3. Biotrue: For those of you who wear contacts this is an awesome product just for you! The formula actually contains lubricant naturally found in your eyes and matches the PH of healthy tears. It's cooling, conditioning, clean characteristics keep your contacts comfortable to wear all day, BUT always remember to remove your contacts before bed! Never sleep in your contacts, this is an awful habit that will end in irritated, tired eyes.

4. Sheer coverage sunscreen SPF 30 +: Living in the sunshine state I'm always very much in contact with the heat and sun, and because of that, I want to make sure to protect my skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays. I like to apply this before my makeup and just throw a travel size bottle in my bag, which can be easily reapplied over makeup throughout the day due to its sheer coverage formula.

5. Rohto V Eye drops: I loveee these eye drops! They're seriously like a breathe mint for the eyes. They quickly remove any redness and dryness from the eyes. I would recommend starting with the green bottle before the blue because, these are very strong, some people may consider the cooling sensation to be more of a stinging sensation, so just fair warning!

6. Cream Blush: Any brand or color of cream blush is a great essential to keep in your bag. The blush you applied in the morning before you went to class, or ran into work may have been lost, so to give yourself a bright pop of color in the middle of the day, gently apply this to the cheeks and just a dab on the nose. Cream blushes are also great for on the go because you can apply them quickly and easily with your fingers, no need for any brushes. :)

7. Softlips lip balm: It's important to keep a great lip balm in your bag. Keeping your lips moisturized and conditioned throughout the day will make your lips soft and happy. :)

8. Maybelline Coral Crush: Keeping a bright, fun color lipstick in your bag is always good for the "just in case" situations. You may end up going out with friends after work, going to a party or maybe just need a fun transition of color for the day. I don't know about you guys, but I always find myself forgetting the lipstick I applied in the morning at home, so when my lips lose their morning color I pop on this beautiful coral crush.

9. Breathe Mints! Bad breathe is an awful thing, so to be safe always be sure to keep your favorite breathe mints in your bag.

10. Bobby pins: If you're a busy girl you probably find yourself running from one place to another and that most likely means you don't have time to stop in at home and change your hair accordingly. By carrying bobby pins in your bag you have some simple tools for changing your hair throughout the day if needed or desired.

Well everyone those are the top ten things I carry in my bag, right now I store all of those things in a cute little pouch I purchased at Target, but of course you can use whatever you like. What top ten things do you carry in your bag?

So if you haven't picked up Seventeen's new fall issue you need to do so soon! For any Twilight lovers or just plain Taylor Lautner lovers he makes his wonderful debut on magazine's cover. It's been named their "Hot Guy Special", which includes healthy, fun dating advice, and we all know we could use a little of that from time to time! Seventeen also, like always, includes the cutest fall trends for clothes, hair and makeup. They also include ways to keep yourself healthy and motivated with workout guides and healthy meal ideas.
