The product is packaged in a tub. I would rather prefer a tube packaging for hygiene reasons. This sunscreen has a thick consistency and thus tends to give a white cast on the skin so one must make sure to massage the skin well so that it gets fully absorbed. It also feels greasy on my skin. Since my facial skin is oily, I did not use this product on my face. Instead I used it on my hands and legs. I must say that I’m impressed. It effectively protects my skin from sunlight thus preventing tanning to some extent and at the same time it also keeps my skin moisturized. It has a mild scent which goes away upon application. The best part of this product is that it is completely natural. Those having dry skin will like this sunscreen. Do make sure to apply the sunscreen 20 minutes before sun exposure.

I’ve always had scanty eyebrows so I decided to try out this product. This product is packaged in a glass bottle with a convenient dropper. I’ve used this oil daily for a month and I have just noticed that it helps to make the brows darker and thicker. You need a tiny drop of oil on the brows and this bottle will last you for over 6 months. I’m sure upon regular usage this product will help in making the brows fuller and thicker. This oil contains wonderful ingredients like argan oil, castor oil, rosemary oil, Vitamin E oil, coconut oil and tea tree essential oil. I would definitely recommend this oil for those having scanty eyebrows. It’s an all natural product so no harm in trying out atleast once.

My favourite face scrub right now has to be the Mcaffeine coffee face scrub. It is packaged in a tube having a flip-top cap. The delicious coffee fragrance instantly uplifts your mood.

MCaffeine Naked & Raw Coffee Face Scrub is a nourishing and exfoliating face scrub, made from Pure Arabica Coffee and essential Vitamin E. This face scrub gently buffs away all the rough dead skin cells thereby revealing soft and smooth skin, stubborn blackheads, tan and impurities. This face scrub has perfectly sized particles that aren’t rough on your skin and do not dry out skin. Make sure to use a moisturiser after exfoliation. I prefer using this scrub twice a week.

My views:

A body scrub is a must in my skincare routine. I use different brands of body scrubs and I haven’t had a favourite so far until I came across Body Cupid Chocolate Body Scrub. It claims to be paraben and sulphate free which makes this product safe for use.

This scrub contains wonderful ingredients like walnut shell powder, cocoa butter and powder, peppermint oil, almond oil, apricot oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, etc. I prefer using this scrub twice a week. The granules are not harsh on the skin. It effectively sloughs away dead skin cells and reveals a silky soft skin. My skin doesn’t feel dry after using this scrub but a moisturizer is recommended after exfoliation. This scrub has a delicious chocolate fragrance but it may be overpowering for some.

The packaging of this product is luxurious and attractive. I purchased this scrub from Amazon and I would definitely recommend this product.

Just Herbs Skin Tint claims to be a ‘real’ product for ‘real’ people which helps in achieving a no-make up look. I purchased this product because I did not want to wear a foundation every day. It’s just too much for me. Here’s when the Skin Tint came to my resuce and I like this product so much that I can’t think about my life without it.

The product is packaged in a glass pump bottle. I had purchased my bottle at the end of last year. Now they have changed the packaging a little and the price has gone up by 120/- INR. I’m a little disappointed with the price increase. They never give discounts on this product either which is a bummer.

The Skin Tint compliments your skin shade and blends in easily with the skin. It has a lovely fragrance. It masks imperfections such as fine lines, only light blemishes and pores on your skin and gives a flawless look. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It didn’t break out my skin. It does not cover up dark and prominent acne marks but does give a light glow to the skin. If you need high coverage then this is not the right product for you. Also, the Skin Tint moisturizes your skin and gives broad spectrum UV protection. I still prefer using a sunscreen under this product. It does give a dewy finish so those having oily skin will have to use a compact over this. Those of you having dry skin will love this product. I’ve used the Skin Tint in summer and it did not fade away in the heat. It does get transferred easily though onto your clothes collar and handkerchief. This is a must-have product for daily use. One annoying thing about this Skin Tint is that it makes your skin sweat upon application.

I’m using the shade Porcelain which is perfect for my skin tone. If you are confused regarding which shade to buy then I would suggest you to first purchase the Skin Tint Shade Sampler.

This kit contains all the available shades in a miniature packaging (8g each). It costs 795/- INR. You get a special coupon code with this kit which can be redeemed on your purchase of the full-sized Skin Tint.

The best thing about this product is that there is not a single harmful ingredient. This makes it apt for daily use. I would definitely recommend this product. It’s a big thumbs up from me!

I have been using Mirah Belle Face Serum for nearly 6 months now and I will say this straight off the bat that this is one of the best face serums I’ve ever used.

The serum bottle looks good and has a pump dispenser which makes it even easier to use. The serum has a rose fragrance which immediately uplifts your mood. Upon application, the serum quickly sinks into the skin. I use this serum in the morning and before bed. It helps to fade acne marks and moisturizes my oily skin very well without any greasy feeling. I’ve also noticed that my skin is brighter ever since I started using this product. This serum is suitable for all skin types. You can purchase this product here.

The brand claims to be vegan, free from sulfates, parabens, pthalates, mineral oil, DEA, formaldehyde, petrolatum, paraffin and no animal testing. However the full ingredient list is not provided.

In conclusion, if you are looking for a decent serum which moisturizes and also keeps the skin free from blemishes then this product is worth a try.

This is so far the best hair color I’ve ever tried. I’ve been using hair colours from various brands for the last 6 years and no brand comes close to this one.

This shade looks amazing on my hair. Without any bleach the colour pay off is excellent. My hair looks bright red in sunlight and appears a little subtle indoors. This hair colour did not dry out my hair at all. Infact it gives a nice shine to my hair. I did not experience any side effects from this product.

When I first applied this hair colour, I observed that the colour used to drip out from every shampoo wash. So instead of my regular shampoo, I started using L’Oreal Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner and my problem was solved. It is always advisable to use a colour protecting shampoo on coloured hair.

I had purchased this pack in January and this product contains ammonia. The new pack which is available on Amazon now does not contain ammonia. This product costs around 100/- INR but the Amazon price is 61/- INR +76/- INR (delivery charges). Even then this product is worth every penny. I will try out other shades from this brand.

Biotique Bio Fruit Face Pack is packaged in a plastic tube having a flip top cap. The face pack has an amazing fruity fragrance. I leave it on for around 20 minutes and rinse it off with water. I prefer using this face pack once or twice a week.

As soon as you apply this face pack, you will feel a slight burning sensation but that goes away in a few minutes. I’ve been using this product for around 3 months now and I feel that this is a pretty decent product in itself. It does help in brightening the skin and getting rid of tan but you need to use it regularly for better results. Although it didn’t dry out my skin, I feel it is necessary to follow up with a moisturiser. For effective tan removal, you can use a tan removal face scrub first followed by this face pack.

This is a good product from Biotique. The only problem here is that the brand has not mentioned the entire ingredient list. This product is reasonably priced and it is worth a try for all skin types.

Inwood Organics Hand & Body Lotion is packaged in plastic tube which has a pump dispenser. I’ve been using this lotion for around 2 months now and I’m pretty happy with the results.

The product claims to heal skin inflammation, diminish red and dark marks and enhance the skin’s natural fairness. It does what it claims. I’ve noticed a significant change in my skin tone as it has reduced the tan to a great extent. The only reason I purchased this product was to get rid of my old tan.

This lotion is ideal for use during summer as it absorbs easily and is lightweight. It also has a nice fragrance. It doesn’t turn my skin oily or greasy. It may not be ideal for winter use though as it won’t provide enough moisturisation. I use the lotion immediately after a shower.

The brand claims to use natural ingredients like almond oil, shea butter, honey, aloe vera extract and milk proteins but the detailed ingredient list is not provided.

If you use this product consistently then you will get the desired results. It definitely works in getting rid of sun tan. I will be repurchasing this lotion. It is available on Amazon India.

This has probably been the most disappointing product for me so far. I don’t even know why I purchased it in the first place. It just doesn’t stick to your skin or hair for that matter and pulls out very less hair! The skin gets coated with a lot of wax. I even tried warming up the strips over a candle flame and even that did not yield a good result.

In short, this product did not work for me. I don’t know if I made a mistake while using this but I’ve been using Veet wax strips for years now and I never had an issue with those. Henceforth I’ll stick to Veet.

The only good thing about this product is that the strips are wider than the Veet wax strips. Even though Veet strips are narrow, they do the job just fine.

I would never recommend this product.

I’ve used Aroma Magic Lavender Face Wash throughout winter and I must say it is a pretty impressive product. I have combination skin which tends to get dry during winter therefore; a moisturising face wash was very much needed. This product did its job well.

I love the subtle lavender fragrance. It lathers up decently and cleans the skin thoroughly. It contains lavender extracts and nourishing ultra-whipped shea butter. My skin felt so hydrated and soft. This will be my face wash every winter for sure. If you have dry and combination skin then this face wash if for you.

The best part here is that this product doesn’t contain any harmful ingredients and is not tested on animals. Aroma Magic products are worth a try. I will be trying out other products from this brand.

I can’t live without a lip balm. It’s a must for me. I try out lip balms from different brands. This time I purchased Lakme Lip Love Cherry Balm which also has SPF 15 for sun protection.

This lip balm is quite moisturising. It claims to give 22 hours moisture which is an exaggeration. I need to reapply this lip balm every 4 hours. I mostly prefer using this lip balm under a lipstick due to the sun protection factor. It does give a nice tint to the lips.

There is no ingredient list mentioned on the pack which is really disappointing.

In India, we don’t have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to affordable primers. Insight Primer is the only cost effective primer I’ve come across till date.

This product is packaged in a sleek and travel friendly tube. The primer has a gel type consistency. It is oil free yet moisturising and gives the skin a silky smooth finish. It’s amazing. It minimizes pores to a great extent. It’s waterproof and lightweight. I think I’m going to stick to this product for a long time. It does contain chemicals though so I use it sparingly. I prefer using a primer only on my cheeks where I have prominent pores. It lasts all day long! I didn't get any break outs either. I tend to break out a lot when using other primers.

I would definitely recommend this primer for all skin types. I purchased this product from Nykaa.

I’m sure all beauty bloggers must have tried out Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. The reviews are all over the internet. I’ve finished 4 bottles already and I love it.

The packaging is excellent and the bottle looks cute. The cleansing water is fragrance free. This product removes all traces of makeup. It looks just like water though. It’s not oil based. You’ll need to put in extra effort to get rid of waterproof eye makeup though but it does its job. I press the soaked cotton pad on my eyelids for a while and I gently swipe it for proper makeup removal. My foundation comes off with just one swipe. I mean this is the best thing for sensitive skin. You don’t need to worry about any side effects whatsoever.

This product does what it claims. It is non-sticky, non-oily and fragrance free. Just to be sure that I’ve got rid of all make up, I prefer using a mild face wash after using this micellar water.

My skin doesn’t feel stretchy or dry after using this product. This is the perfect makeup remover. You can get it at a discount on most online shopping portals.

I was on the lookout for a pinkish gold shimmer nail colour for a long time now and I found the perfect shade from Disney.

The applicator brush is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It helps to evenly coat the nails. This nail polish has a silky smooth texture. Two coats are enough for a dazzling shine. In order to increase the staying time of my nail paints, I always use a base coat and finish off with a top coat. This way my nail polish doesn’t chip off for over a week. This particular nail paint did not chip off for nearly a fortnight. I love this one!

This nail paint looks even better than the photos. Trust me!

I purchased this nail polish from Nykaa a few months ago. Unfortunately this product now is out of stock. I hope Nykaa restocks them soon.

I’ve had this product for over a year now and I don’t know why I did not write about it earlier. Let me start by saying how awesome this hair dryer is! I’m delighted with this purchase.

Rozia Professional Hair Dryer features 2 heat/speed settings for complete drying and styling flexibility. It also has a cold shot button (orange colour) which releases cool air to lock-in the style. This product also comes with 2 concentrator attachments.

The build quality of this dryer is excellent. I have waist length hair so I need a lot of time to style my hair and it’s a bit heavy but over time I got used to it. It doesn’t damage or dry out the hair. I prefer resting the dryer for a while to cool. I did not notice any burning smell even if I used it for a bit longer time. Since it has an AC motor the sound is a little bit on the higher side but you’ll get used to it.

The product now is available on Amazon for just 1,099/- and it’s totally worth the price.

While blow drying my hair I prefer using this Roots Roots 58 mm Ceramic Barrel Hair Brush which I purchased from Amazon for 370/- INR.

The brush is of good quality and has a nice rubber grip. The ceramic coated barrel emits negative ions thus reducing frizz. The nylon bristles are heat resistant. Since I have waist length hair, this brush is perfect for me.

Forest Gold Ru’uh U-Tone Syrup is packaged in a sturdy plastic bottle. This product claims to maintain hormonal balance and rhythm in a woman’s life. As you can see above, this product contains so many extracts of herbs, roots, seeds, leaves, bark, fruit, flower buds, etc. This syrup actually tastes sweet and yummy. As per its claims, it actually does help in balancing the hormones right from menarche to menopause.

You need to take 3 teaspoons twice a day after meals. This product is ideal for those who are suffering from irregular periods. Trust me, this works. I didn’t have much of a problem with my periods. They used to get delayed by a week but I had them every month. While taking this syrup, my periods were like bang on target. I started getting my period on the exact same date every month.

I am not implying here that this product will surely work for you. Each person’s body reacts differently to any medication. I leave it up to you to decide whether you want to give this product a try or not.

This is a good product in my opinion. The only problem here is the fact that it contains preservatives. I do hope the brand does something about this. The price is a bit on the higher side and most people may not be able to afford this syrup.

Aloe Veda Head Massage oil is packaged in a sturdy plastic bottle having a screw cap. This oil is fragrance free and very light. It doesn’t feel sticky at all. I use this oil twice a week. It cools the head and calms the mind. It is free of mineral oil. Massaging this oil when I have a headache gives me instant relief. This oil is a blend of sesame oil, olive oil, castor oil and mint oil. I also add 3-4 drops of tea tree oil as it helps to get rid of dandruff.

I’ve been using this oil for over a month now and I have not faced any side effects. In fact I feel it lessens hair fall and strengthens hair. If you are suffering from dry scalp then this oil will help in moisturising the scalp. I don’t consider this product as only massage oil. In fact I use it like any regular oil and it works just fine.

Revat Anti-Acne Gel is packaged in a small handy tube. This tube contains just 10 g of the product. The gel has a nice candy like fragrance. The skin tends to feel a bit sticky upon application of this gel. That’s okay for me though as I prefer using it only at bed time.

This gel claims to heal acne and blemishes and it does its job very well. I must say it’s a very impressive product. It shows results within three weeks. You will need a minimum of 4 tubes to completely cure any acne or blemishes.

I would recommend applying this product only on the problem areas and not the entire facial skin. If you have acne on your arms, neck or any where else, this gel will always come to your rescue.

This is a herbal product and thus safe to use. At this price tag it is expensive but since this product works really well, I won’t complain about the cost. Roop Mantra Mix Fruit face wash comes in a tube packaging having a flip-top cap. The product has a gel consistency. It also has a lovely fruity fragrance. A little amount goes a long way as this face wash lathers really well. Thus it will last you for months. My skin feels squeaky clean, soft and smooth every time I use this face wash. It is gentle on the skin and ideal for use throughout the year.

I have combination skin these days and this face wash moisturized my dry skin areas. I would recommend this face wash for normal, dry and combination skin. It is also priced reasonably.

The only thing that bothers me about this product is the fact that it contains parabens. I do hope the brand discontinues using parabens in their products as a lot of talk is going on about parabens being harmful to our health in the long run.

Revat anti-stretch mark lotion is packaged in a sturdy tube having a flip-top cap. The lotion has a nice fragrance and gets absorbed into the skin easily upon slight massage. I’ve used this product for over a month now and I must say it does its job pretty well.

This lotion claims to reduce stretch marks and yes it does. I’ve got a few stretch marks on my thighs due to weight loss and this lotion has helped to lighten them. Regular use will help in erasing the stretch marks. You need to be consistent with this product to see some results. Give it a time of at least two months. This product also helps to reduce burn scars too. I have two burn scars on my leg and this lotion has lightened them a bit. I’ve also noticed that my skin is smooth and has turned soft. It just feels great.

This is an Ayurvedic product and you will not suffer from any side effects. It is ideal for sensitive skin too. If the brand discontinues using parabens as preservatives, then this product would be the best.

Roop Mantra Ayurvedic Medicinal Cream is packaged in a plastic tube having a screw cap. This cream has a subtle floral fragrance. I like the scent. The cream is a bit thick in consistency and you need to use very little at a time or else it leaves a white cast on the skin. It is necessary to blend it quickly.

My skin feels matte upon blending this cream and it starts turning oily two hours later. If you have dry skin then this product is not suitable due to its matte finish.

This cream has faded away my pimple scars within a month’s use. It also prevents acne. It has also evened out my skin tone. I have also noticed a little brightness in my skin tone as it helps in removing tan. It doesn’t clog pores either.
