I hope each and everyone is doing well. I have a purple FOTD to share. I am just sharing the look, sorry if I can't recall some of the products used in this look.
I remember that my crease has MAC Texture, Rule & Brown Script because they are always my go to crease color. My eye highlight/browbone is always Wet n Wild bronzer: Tahitian Tan. The lid colors I don't recall.

Cheek Highlight: Wet n Wild bronzer: Bali

I love that N.Y.C. lip color pencil in Innocent, only $1 at my Dollar Tree.

This is what I call nude lips... for me... IMO!!

Looking back at my pictures you would think I was inspired by my earrings but no, even though I am feeling the color combination of those earrings. However, I may do a look inspired from them soon. Kiss Nail dress was included in the package, I am not a big fanatic on nail wearing but it consist of design for my toes and the design is cheetah print (a thumbs up). I may be a nail biter who doesn't have any nails to add design but animal print stuff are such beautiful teasers.

Lastly a female can't have too much razors now, can we? I think it's something we can't live without especially being the diva we are. We always gotta keep the body groomed, we never know when that special occasion might just suddenly come about to use the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor

Product Focus: NYX Matte Lipstick

Hey beauties,

If it is anything I love and that's a bright vivid color lipstick. It doesn't matte the color it is for me a lipstick should be bright and outstanding in pigmentation. Now after viewing these new lipsticks from NYX, I had to try. These bad gems are Matte lipsticks from NYX. I got five colors and had to share with my beauty junkies how much I really love these.

Some of the color shades are similar to some recent famous colors from MAC and these lipstick are not drying on the lips being they are of a matte texture.

Word in makeup land is that these new Maybelline items are the best eye bases ever from a drugstore company. Do I believe so?

YES and I ♥♥♥♥ these products from Maybelline and this brand is very much growing on me on becoming a top favorite drugstore brand of mines.

Let me focus all the attention on these Maybelline Eyestudio Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow... I own most of them except the gold color which I own the MakeUp ForEver gold aqua cream which looks similar so there wasn't any reason to purchase the Maybelline gold product.

Various textures- some of them are shimmer and some are matte colors
Very Inexpensive - range from $5.99 - $7.99
Great amount of product which will last a very long time: 14oz/4g

Cons:

Only ten color shades

These products are reviewed on almost every beauty blogger blog and it was fair enough that I do a product focus on them because they are awesome. I have been wearing some of the colors as bases in my previous makeup looks and absolutely love how most eyeshadow colors are easy to blend on top of them.

If you haven't tried them yet, you definitely need them in your kit/stash. They are worth a try.

Welcome to another edition of ELF (Eyes, Lips, Face) Beauty Book edition where I will be using The ELF Beauty Encyclopedia Eye Edition. From looking at the colors I knew which look I wanted to do first to introduce this palette to you. I went ahead and did an inspired Kim Kardashian makeup look which is the look from your 2011 family holiday portrait pictures.

This face of the Day is inspired from the promo picture of Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin Viva Glam ad; the Nicki Minaj makeup look. I really liked how they brought out the colors of springtime in the look. Nevertheless anything with Nicki is always bright and colorful.

I recalled watching a movie this week and it had a drink in it which had various colors and the bartender called it "Heart of the Sea". I love the colors of the beverage that I had to incorporate it in this makeup look and of course I used the ELF Glitter Eye palette.

It has been a sad and overwhelming weekend. We lost a diva, an amazing legend in the music business. My condolences to Bobby Christina, Momma Houston and the whole family on their lost of the Queen Whitney Houston. We love u always diva!!

R.I.P. To an Icon: Whitney Houston

I am lost for words, still can't penetrate the thought that another Icon has departed from us. It's a sad and devastating moment. I don't know her personally but through her music and movies, I have grown to love and adore this woman art of singing and her beauty is beyond words. I grew up on her music and till this day I can remember when I was younger and eager to see her movie "The Bodyguard" in theater and crying my eyes out and still today watching that movie I do cry like no other.
Rest In Peace beautiful lady and I pray that your daughter will find the strength to recover from this pain of your loss. As a parent I can't imagine what she is going through but I will keep her in my prayers as I do my very own.
