I love everything about Lisa Eldridge, the way she looks, her style and her work, her YouTube makeup tutorials and the fact that she is never involved in any kind of drama. She is always really friendly, really lovely and she seem to be a genuine kind person and a very talented makeup artist

I admire her work for so long and she has been an amazing inspiration to me over the years and I wanted to try her Velvet Lipstick since last year it was sold out in a matter of days. This year Lisa came with gorgeous new lip products and an amazing collaboration with Jon Jacobsen, a multimedia artist, amazing photographer and digital illustrator.

When I saw the Fantasy Floral makeup bag designed by Jon Jacobsen I was already in love and there was no way back for me and I wanted the lipsticks even more. I would dream of these lipsticks at night!

At the beginning of the year 2020 Pixi gifted me their entire Retinol skin care line and I have been using these products for almost 8 months now.

With Retinol products I really need to take time to see how they work, because Retinol is not something I wanna rush with. I am going to explain why you should always take your time when using any form of Retinoids.

Before I start talking about all these Pixi Retinol products, I have been gifted, I want to say a few important things about Retinol in general as an anti-age ingredient, because I know how confusing skin care and active ingredients can be sometimes.

What exactly is Retinol

Well, a lot of people are confused about Retinol- some think Retinol is an acid, some think Retinol is a type of oil and some already know that Retinol is actually a synthetic vitamin A derivative.

Retinol is one of the many different types of Retinoids (the umbrella term for all vitamin A derivatives).

Usually a drugstore formula would have retinyl palmitate (the weakest form of retinoids ), retinol (the next strongest form of retinoids), retinaldehyde (stronger than retinol ) or adapalene ( the strongest over the counter option and used for acne formulations).

When Retinol is applied topically, it converts to retinoic acid by two specialized enzymes that can be found in our skin, and retinoic acid plays an important roll in cell growth, differentiation and organogenesis.

I've been really productive today. Not really! But at least I've tried almost all the creepy and interesting Instagram filters you can find in the story option.

Was pretty fun, found some really cool ones and decided to share with you some of my favorites and maybe you give these a try, as some are perfect for Halloween and you can make some really cool pictures/videos to share with your friends and family.

If you are looking for new super silky eye shadows, with great pigment color, incredible pay off and easy to apply and blend like a dream in just one swipe, take a look at this super cute and pretty eye shadow compact from Pixi Beauty.

Pixi Eye Effects comes in Rosette Ray (picture above) and Hazelnut Haze.They are both really beautiful but I absolutely love Rosette Ray, is just stunning! Both have lovely earth tones, without looking too "muddy" or too boring and I find them perfect for Autumn, because of the really nice red/golden pigment.

I don't know if you can see it in the picture, but the eye shadows in the compact look a bit velvety and the texture is just so beautiful, they are smooth and have almost no fall out. In a way this new texture reminds me of the Viseart eye shadows, with a lovely pigmentation and so easy to blend and create beautiful looks.

For the past 3 years The Body Shop is making the most pretty, festive and magical Beauty Advent Calendars. No doubt!

For 2020, The Body Shop has again 3 advent calendars to choose from, and they are already available online and in selected stores, but not for long as we all know from previous years how fast they sell out (last year they sold one every 30 seconds).

This 2020 edition has been named "Make It Real Together", a theme with a focus on what makes Christmas magical-the real joy of sharing little thing and moments with friends and family and even neighbors, those little imperfect but important moments in our life that brings us together to celebrate and enjoy life.

I really like to spray a fine mist of fresh floral water over my makeup because it gives such a nice glow and cuts off that powdery look. The first thing I wanna say about ISLE OF PARADISE Self Tanning Drops is that this stuff is amazing. I have been hunting for this product for half a year because it was always sold out. I finally found it online and got a bottle of it and now I am just sorry I did not get two because it is again out of stock everywhere.

Estee Lauder has a new foundation, Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Makeup SPF 45 and I was really excited to try it. I love their foundations, especially Double Wear Stay-In-Place, I been using that for so many years and it never disappointed me.

Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Makeup combines the beauty of a modern and innovative foundation with the amazing benefits of serious skincare and we all know that Estee Lauder makes some really iconic skincare. Coverage and care sounds perfect to me and it was exactly what I was looking for, a skin loving makeup!

Because my skin looks much better than years ago I am using very little foundation and I went from medium- high coverage foundations to barely there and almost sheer coverage because I am all about the natural glow, skin and radiance now that I am not so young anymore :D

Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing foundation has a medium to full coverage, but feels very different than any other similar foundations. I thought it will be more creamy and heavy but the formula is really liquid and very light, I wanna say breathable.
Apparently this foundation formula is infused with Ion charged water, chia seed extract and probiotics.

I have been deeply in love with Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick lately, if not quite obsessed. These past 2 months I have been wearing a lot more creamy lipstick and less matte and I rediscover again the luxurious feeling of having plump hydrated lips in nude romantic and feminine shades.

I don't often wear the same lip color every day for a week but if I do is probably Estee Lauder Pure Color Sculpting Lipstick in Rebellious Rose. Looks beautiful during winter when my skin is fair and my lips are not in the best condition and even more beautiful in spring and summer when my skin has a bit of tan. A lip color that match most skin tones and can be perfect to wear during day but also on special evenings and whenever you feel like it :)

Estee Lauder makes some of the most creamy and comfortable lipsticks I ever had. I own several shades (Dominant, Envious, Tumultuos pink, Rebellious Rose ) but Rebellious Rose always had a special place in my heart and it has been my ultimate crush for years

I always wanted to try a very dark almost black lipstick and have been always afraid that it will look ugly, strange or just unflattering. I have some very deep dark burgundy matte liquid lipsticks that look almost black when they dry, I really love them and they can really look amazing on some people.

So, happy to say that I think I finally managed to pull of a dark lipstick, what do you think?

Like with any other lipstick you just need to find the one that suits your skin tone.

Have you got any Advent Calendar for this Christmas? Or maybe I should ask if you already secretly open all the doors from the Advent Calendar you just bought for this Christmas?

My boyfriend never lets me open any of my Advent Calendars before 1 December and it must be only 1 door/window per day, isn't that a true torture?
