Hello loved ones, greetings and hoping that you are all well….

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards, one blow from caving in?
Do you ever feel already buried deep six feet under?
Screams but no one seems to hear a thing
Do you know that there's still a chance for you
'Cause there's a spark in you?
You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine

You don't have to feel like a wasted space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow
Maybe a reason why all the doors are closed
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will glow
And when it's time you'll know

This words sound familiar………..am sure they do……well it is true you might have heard them somewhere or yet asked yourself a couple of this queries…..you know tormenting yourself with endless queries…am sure most are rhetoric ones but still they pound on your brain like a hummer doing its duty…there are those times you come to a point of even judging your self-worth…not because you hate yourself,nah the reason yet very unclear but for some reason the queries never end…so what does one do when undergoing through this?

People have different theories or versions of how to define their worth in this world, it can take a lifetime to realize but it can also take minutes to realize…sometimes and I quote, what we are always looking for is always right before us but we always look in different locations and missing what is always in front of us.

Maybe it’s time to focus on what is right in front of you instead of going so far to find what is a step from you…am a believer of being an original copy, you don’t have to feel like you aren’t worthy…nah we all have our versions of success stories we are yet to realize but some, might have already realized their stories and started being the main characters in their story lines.

When one appreciates him/herself this is what happens.

· You become positive on the things of earth

· Your inner eyes get to open and you see what you saw but in a different perspective

· You stop being self-centered

· Helping others becomes your main priority

· People also start appreciating you

· You get to motivate yourself in doing great things and not for recognition but to make a difference

But what happens when someone starts to question their true identity and worth?

· Negativity prevails

· Because you don’t appreciate yourself then it becomes appreciating others

· Doing good is never a priority for you

· One becomes self-centered

· Lack of motivation to pursue things

How about we all aspire to appreciate our worth in this world and start making changes, and positive changes…

one of my units is ~~dealing with~~ about ethics and it does state that ethics is the aspect of doing right or wrong.and so i have realized that and i am sure you do realize this too,that life is basically lived with choices.....well like everything does involve a choice,and totally true there are consequences involved.they might not be negative but sure thing they are consequences.

you decide to attend lectures or just to continue feeling the warmth of the covers....its a choice
you are employed and you want to quit your good job and venture in a new world..its a hard choice
you want to move out from your parents umbrella and start living alone...its a choice
you are in an un faithful relationship and not sure what you want to do but there comes a point where you need to make a choice based on your best interest.

choices follow us wherever we go because everything we choose to do its taken as a choice.somehow i do feel left out of choice though i don't complain.....get me well here..am not the type to skive classes but i appreciate the effort the university i am in has put in to make us understand why we should not fail to attend classes,exceptional of an emergency.so it is a big offense to miss classes in our university......this is not a choice i might choose but i can't urgue about it since its done to the best of my interest.
therefore some choices that people in authority may choose i consider them done for the best of the public interest and by this i mean people like our parents....we might tend to see the choices they choose for use to be restricting hmmmm! biting our freedom but years later and am sure you can attest to this...those decisions they made were the best.
point in life where you are forced to make a choice.....and honestly i do consider making choices as one of the greatest paradox of life since we all are doomed to make choices.
a friend of mine did post of facebook that,in life we do have two paths to follow,there is one that is wide and looks so inviting and there is one that is narrow and so thorny.many if asked would consider the wider one that looks so tended to and inviting and leave the narrow and thorny one...its a choice and when it comes to us making choices we always want an easy escape where there won't be lots of thinking,but i have realized that the journey of a christian who i consider chooses the narrow and thorny one is not an easy one.one is faced with lots of temptations,challenges and many shortbacks....you feel like the world is against you and the choices that one makes in this moments do qualify him/her whether to be a champion.

i read this story from inspirational stories and it really did prove that we all have to make choices and that there are consequences:

Five wise men got lost in the forest.
The first one said:
- I will go left – my intuition tells me that.
The second one said:
- I will go right – there is a reason why right comes from the word rightness.
The third one said:
- I will go back – we came from there, it means I will go out from the forest.
The fourth one said:
- I will go straight – we should move forward, the forest will end and something new will open.
The fifth said:
- You are all wrong. There is a better solution. Wait for me.
He found the tallest tree and climbed into it. While he was climbing everyone else scattered towards their own sides. From above he saw where they should go to leave the forest faster. Now he could even see in what order the other wise men will reach the end of the forest. He climbed higher and saw the shortest way. He understood the problem and found the best solution! He knew that he did everything right. And the others were wrong. They were stubborn and they didn’t listen to him. He was the real Wise Man!
But he was wrong.
Everyone was right. The one who went left, found himself in the thicket. He had to starve and fight with wild animals. But he learned how to survive in the forest; he became a part of the forest and could teach others the same.
The one who went right, met thieves. They took everything from him and made him steal with them. But after some time, he had woken up something in those thieves that they have forgotten – humanity and compassion. The remorse was so strong in some of them, that after his death they also became the wise men.
The one who went back, made a pathway through the forest, which soon became a road for those who wanted to walk in the forest without being afraid of getting lost.
The one who went straight, became a pioneer. He visited the places where no one else was and opened wonderful new possibilities for people, amazing healing plants and magnificent animals.
The one who climbed into the tree, became a specialist of finding short ways. People turned to him when they wanted to find the fastest way to deal with their problems, even if it didn’t lead to any development. This is how the five wise men reached their destiny.

as you make choices let them be based on the best of your interest and to a point to all that concern you.and if it comes to a point that you will feel you have reached your breaking point just remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

A TIME IN LIFE!

HAPPY NEW MONTH beautiful people! is there something you normally do,and you finally find out that you always do it the same way all over again?it can be how you dress,maybe a specific dish or even how you do your personal things...suprisisngly i know most people are fond of such habits and 7% out of 10% will always say that they are bored... my question is,do you get bored because you made a habit of doing something the same way or its because you have found nothing new to do?

well,last week i had been having this feeling of starting trying out something in different way.i had always done it the same way and an idea came to my mind and i did it differently.the idea was making pancakes and not the easy way am used to doing but incorporating milk and peanut butter to my pancakes...YEAH!peanut butter can be used to make pancakes so don't be surprised..i did the combo and i had some of my friends and fellow classmates try them and give me a response..it was overwhelming when i watched their faces lighten up after taking a bite of the pancakes...

you know,that feeling you get when you try out something you've never tried before,taste it and you close your eyes as you take the moment in.......overwhelming....i know! that feeling made me feel like on top of the world....that's what happens when there is transition in someones life or a daily routine....you necessarily don't have to do like me but am sure you can never lack somewhere or something that needs a transition.life is short as it is said and you need to get most things accomplished as for today since our tomorrow is unknown. maybe its waking up in the morning,going to the same job you are used to then head home in the evening,you find it monotonous......i will gladly give you free advice...change the routine and you'll see the transformation. as you transit from one pattern to another,you realize that you leave a lot of things behind and accommodate new things,its in those new things that one finds true happiness.

probably you are in a relationship or might have been into relationships that ended soo abruptly and its becoming like a trend,i believe when you accept transition there will be drastic change.that change only comes when you admit that there is a problem and you need a solution to the problem...or you need to spice up things much better....it is boring going over something all over again...... imagine having a novel and you read it once and maybe you didn't like it......and later on you revisit it again and later again...it gets to be monotonous..there is nothing new you are going back to read on that novel that you haven't read.....you might only be going back to it for a favorite page you liked or out of boredom or just to engage yourself to something.... change that routine you are used to....engage in something new and you will have made a big leap in your life journey.

is it too early to invest?

out of the bus window he gazes,looking out and in front of his view is a very good furnished apartment.well and executive furnished and maintained.'if only i could be given a chance to rent here?' 'what work do these people do?what is their income salary?not like it matters....but am sure to him it did matter...how did they get to this position?this and many more questions disturb his mind.seemingly he is engaging his thoughts to something.i look out of the window too,of course gazing at the apartment and yeah in flow of his thoughts i ask myself those queries too.no people walking in or out and only mighty cars getting in.mind you the apartment is not in a flashy estate,just a place you would never imagine could unfold such an executive apartment.
but one query lingers on my mind,'what is their life story?has it been a smooth journey or a tough one?'honestly i get no response to my query.of course its a rhetorical query.this event happened while i was stuck in traffic jam heading home.
it is true that you can never make it in life without having to make that one step.as the quote says,a journey of a 1000 miles starts with one step.
i want to assume that the person behind that great executive apartment one day had a dream to take place he/she had to actualize it and maybe do lots of planning too.
now you consider yourself at your sweet twenties and early thirties but if anyone came up to you with an investment question you would probably give them the blind stare......i don't blame you though i might do the same too.but its the high time i believe we learnt about saving.
it helps secure a better future.you might be saying why should i?we only live once and so we should not waste our money on the unknown future..but honestly if we only live once,then why do you live that day and assume there is no tomorrow?
but because we all live by hope that's why we need to plan for our future or future generation too.
there is one thing am sure of,for a dream to be actualized it needs to be first formed in the mind,put into writing,dream of it day and night and put effort in actualizing that dream.and there is no great satisfaction like having fulfilled a dream. so my fellow young generation lets embrace investment plans and not to wait till its too late to actualize those tiny or big dreams we always have.
how beautiful would it be if all the dreams we have would be actualized and everyone was living their dream.i tend to believe we would all be wearing happy faces all the time.

its not about love....

hello and i hope you had a lovely weekend altogether,mine had a lot of rethinking but i suppose we all have those times that we are driven to a point of rethinking about something.when i decided to start this blog it was entirely to focus on the beauty of life,since each day is new and has new things to present itself to each and every individual,some of us might be tempted to say,'mine is pretty the same','i have the same routine each day',but believe me life is what you make it to be.we are the drivers of our lives.
now to be more precise,live does not entirely offer the best though,it does have its ugly turn which we can never do away with,what matters is,do you always sit down and sulk at the ugly events?one thing we all need to be grateful for is the friends and family that we have in our lives,without them i wonder what life would be like,since,they are always there when you are in your worst moments,and they give you the strength to rise.
you have the friends and family yes,i go the point of getting a partner,i believe God's time is the best,but i have come to a point that i feel like i need to have a break with the relationship issue,i have had friends whom tell me all the good and well the ugly which happen when people are in the relationship.my question is,if being in a relationship is about love,then,when is it not about love?
well this are the answers i might probably have to that question,practically its about what i feel,your opinions do count too and feel free to share them on the comment box..

when a relationship is not centered on Christ then its not about love
love is all about security and love,and we all don't want people who will run after hitting a hard rock in the relationship period,thus its not about love when the better half is never there to solve a problem with you
its not about love when the better half makes you cry all the time and are never apologetic,love is about being apologetic and having someone who never makes you cry,at least on purpose
its not about love when there is no trust,lets face it but trust stands to be the most number one factor in a relationship
its not about love when the other partner insists on sex sex sex,i emphasize on that because well i have heard some men say that sex is what makes partners to be more closer but surely is sex the main factor in a relationship?
we all need people who push us to do the best and even when you don't believe in yourself,they are there to believe in you,and when you find those who do not put your life in the best of their interest then its not about love
you also deserve someone who does not make you as if your an option in their life and they go ahead to tell you that they can get someone else,we all deserve people who treat us like the first option,then its about love

i can go on and on but i conclude by saying that we all deserve to be loved and to love and when its not above kindly don't shy off to let it go for we deserve much better that we are being offered,and you deserve it for a lifetime.strive to get the best in this life and mostly the best advice comes from family and the true friends since they have the best interest of you in their hearts.

hello,i hope the week was a great one,and you are looking forward to the weekend as i am.
i have a motivational feeling today,and i thought i should share that feeling with you.as i went through this poem by Maya Angelou,i did realize one thing:there are people who are constantly waiting for our downfall and when that chance comes they mock you and display you,not realizing that falling is not the end of you.what does matter is how fast you rise after that downfall,because the ~~faster~~ quicker you rise gives our enemies no chance to see the downfall.
as you start your weekend remember this,falling does not matter,but rising up does count.
i truly hope this poem inspires you since when i read it,it spoke volumes to me,

have you at any time asked someone to meet you,or you have ever been summoned to meet someone and you were late?
do you get late because you were too busy?
what is usually your excuse?
would you say someone is civilized when they appear late for an appointment?
when you reflect upon this questions you will find out that,getting late because a norm of the day for most people.this makes one question their civilization.not knowing the sacrifice the other person has made in order to make that meeting happen..
and i am not talking about the friendly meetings though that's not an exception to be late,i am talking of appointments,be it business,defending of ones thesis appointment and more..for that person to consider such a meeting,there is proper fast hand information given,for someone has to fit you in the busy schedule,so what happens when you fail to appear or come late for that meeting?
that makes one question the civilization of you?
most are the times we associate the west with being time keepers,but do we take the time to ask ourselves why they are associated with that?i believe we don't but i am sure to be late or not to be late is a persons moral decision.
even in our day to day lives lets make it our duty to consider the other person's schedule and the time they took to create the time to meet you.
i happened to listen to my lecturer complain about a certain student,the lecturer had already given an appointment two weeks ago for the meeting and it was supposed to take only fifteen minutes and the lecturer would attend to another student.the lecturer came thirty minutes earlier in order to meet the student who came fifty minutes late of the appointment time.the response the lecturer gave the student struck me,'because of your lateness my schedule is now distorted'
this made me think,how many times do we distort other people's schedule with our lateness and fake apologies?because of the students lateness,graduation won't be on her mind this year and neither can she defend her thesis next week.
lets be considerate of other people's schedules and respect their time,just as you would want them to respect your too.by doing this,it portrays how civilized you are and gets to earn the respect of other people.

borrowed vessels

hello everybody,my belief is that in life you need to pass knowledge to others and so this is what i learnt yesterday.many are the times we face very difficult challenges,lose hope in life and feel very disappointed.at that desperate moment we need to remember that God has a way out for every hard situation.

we are like borrowed vessels..when you borrow a vessel,go for the empty ones(maybe your friends and neighbors will take you for a fool,but hey who cares?you know the purpose of the vessels)when you have borrowed vessels and they are empty,probably you will find something to fill them up with.
now take this examples,you always dream of being a C.E.O or owning your company,instead of asking those prominent people you know how they do ask them what they do to become prominent...you take the ideas and use them but not what they do otherwise you will be doing copycat job

since we are like borrowed vessels we need to study what other people have achieved,do some formal training,be exposed to new beginnings and have mentorship from experienced people.this will help us to become full vessels that can be productive.

today i had to think more on this
Did you know the cemetery is the richest place on earth? This is because at the cemetery there lie dreams and ambitions never accomplished. Most of us as small children, have a lot of dreams and ambitions. We believe we can do everything that we set our heart on. As we become older our dreams begin to shrink as we embrace “reality” and try to rationalize every aspect of our dreams. By the time we are in our teens our dreams have been aborted and we settle for less.
We become comfortable, we lose our purpose and we die with our dreams deeply buried in the closets of our brains.
We can reverse the above tragedy by first and foremost, understanding that each of us represents a unique brand that deserves to be known, felt and tasted in our generation.
Each one of us is meant to be a change maker in the world we live in in our own unique way and thus aborting our dream is relinquishing a gem stone which the world needs, for its growth and development..
Your ‪#‎purpose‬ in life can affect how you will be remembered; it’s an opportunity to leave your mark on the world. Ask yourself how you can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
