He is currently using his old bed though which is still big enough for him, but since we are planning to have him sleep in his own bedroom, we wanted to get him a new bed.

I saw a lot of nice bed frames that my son will probably like. After getting the frame, we will get a mattress that he will like, meaning soft and bouncy enough for a 3-year-old.

I'm sure he is excited and I'm excited too.

Try copper kitchen sinks. Asking why I'm recommending it? Because copper has a greater advantage that regular kitchen sinks. Bacteria and germs only live in copper sinks for 2 hours compared to regular where germs will live in for days. For me, copper sinks looks elegant and can easily match any color you wanted in your kitchen. Though copper sinks is most commonly in a country themed kitchens, it still looks good in any modern kitchens.

If you wanna see a large selection of copper sinks, just click on the link.

We can really tell that it's already Fall season coz the temperature is going down to high 80s compared when it is summer, it won't even go low to 80s. Good thing though I'm in Texas coz it doesn't get really cold in here, just starting to be chilly and I'm loving it.

It should be cold in most part of the US now, but it's not yet too late to have orlando vacations. I'm sure it's still sunny in Orlando and a perfect place to escape from 30s temperature, right? Lots of companies, unfortunately, doesn't offer good insurance benefits nowadays but there are still the good ones that offers them. Some small-to-medium size companies even has key man life insurance, a life insurance policy used to protect a business from the death of a key employee. So it's not just the employees are insured but also the business itself. Usually, if there is a loss of a key employee, the company won't survive, that is why key man insurance is important.

Tomorrow is my first day of work for a new job. Actually, it's just a training, but a paid one too. Tomorrow will be the start of another big change in my life. After a year and almost 5 months of not having a full time, I'm gonna start one tomorrow. It will be hard, but I know that it'd only be in the beginning and soon, I'm gonna get used to it again. Tomorrow, my son's life will change coz he's gonna start attending school at a young age of 3. Tomorrow will be my first time being separated from my son for the whole day and it'd one of the hardest thing, above all.

Getting this full time was a very big decision that I did on my own but with my husband's full support and guidance from God, so I know I did the right thing. But a part of me is worried, especially about my son. I know, in my mind and in my heart, that he's gonna be alright. He's gonna have fun and learn a lot of things in school, but I know that we'll gonna be missing each other so much, I don't think I can bear it. But I need to work which is the best for his future. And him in school is what's good for him too, so that he can develop his interrelationship with other people and being independent.

Ever since I got the job offer, I have been always thinking about this. God knows how happy I am with the new blessing that He gave to us. A job that I like with everything that I needed. But things aren't always perfect. Though I got what I wanted, this time is a huge obstacle for me between my son and my family. I guess I'll just to pass through this obstacle just like what I did with all the other ones that I've been through to prove that I deserve all of this blessing. I know, life should be always like this. But I'm only human and I'm not strong. I have God with me and that's all I can depend on. He had never left me and I'm sure that He never will.

Goodnight!

I'm so excited and worried coz I don't drive yet so I'd gonna end up drive with my mother-in-law home or take a bus if she's gonna be out of town.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Alqau-QL3II/Srpx26Ig59I/AAAAAAAABBY/lszKoL8E62c/s200/Photo0125.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5384741492606691282" />I have been here in Austin, TX for a little over a year but we've never been around the downtown area that often coz we don't wanna fight traffic. So I asked my husband if we can go around downtown just to see where do I need to go to take a bus and what bus do I need to take since there are lots of routes around Austin.

We started in the nearest bus stop/park and ride to our house which is around 5 miles away from us. We took a route that will pass by where I'm working at and that wasn't a short one. It took us about 45 minutes to get where we're planning to go. So I decided that once I'd be able to get my license, I'd rather drive to work and fight the traffic than suffer being dizzy with all the stops with a bus.

We then took a short trip (about 5 minute) from my workplace to my mother-in-law's office. That was short, so I can deal with it everyday, but not the long trips with million stops (ugh!).

That was such an experience and we learned a lot of things--the routes, stops, people we'll be riding with, etc. And I was glad that I was able to somehow to around downtown a little before my first day of work day. Of course, I'm excited to go to work. I remember myself when I first got here in Austin and saw the tall buildings, I said that I wish I'd be able to work in one of those tall buildings, and starting this Monday, I will be. There's one certain person who also had a son like me, but his son is his US citizen fiance's son. I remembered her specifically coz she was worried about her son may needing to undergo DNA testing to prove that he's a legitimate son of her fiance. But I don't think they did it. Well, if I were to say, the child looks so much her fiance so there shouldn't a doubt that it's his.

In my case, my son's not my husband's legitimate child so I was never worried about it. Also, his biological was out of the picture coz I never had his name on my son's birth certificate.

If you went to a DNA testing process when you applied for your US visa, please let me know so that I would be able to help anyone who would come to me and ask me about this concern. Thanks and have a great day!

Got new Yahoo! Mail now (TOO!)

I got so jealous when I saw my husband's Yahoo! Mail that has a new look. It has a box where you can type your update/status just like Facebook. Then you can put applications on the right side and get updates from friends on your contact list as well (See image below). It looks like a social networking page (specifically, Facebook). It is so cool!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 165px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Alqau-QL3II/SrQ3wxtaETI/AAAAAAAABBQ/yHB0370QUqE/s400/yahoomail-new.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5382988765731623218" />

I don't if I'm the only one who's left behind or what! But I wonder why my Yahoo! Mail doesn't have those cool new features? It's me who can make use of those features and my husband doesn't really use them at all. Arrrggghhh!

So, earlier today, I finally had the chance (and patience) to figure out how to do it. And, of course, I'm gonna share it with you. It's actually not that hard, but trying to figure it out is hard.

Anyway, all you need to do is switch it to Yahoo! Mail Classic. You should see those features there. Then, on the right hand side of the Classic screen, click on Try New Yahoo! Mail (or something like that) link. You should see the new features on your new Yahoo! Mail. If it doesn't work, you may need to change your account's Country/Language by clicking to My Account link on the top of Yahoo! Page.

Though I'm not really an organized kind of person, but I think I have improved myself on having everything organized. I started doing that when I got married and realized how much important files we have, and finding them in an unorganized shelf is like finding a needle in a haystack (or maybe not that hard..YET). So, one day, I did try to sort all the files and put the same ones together so it's easier for us to find them.

Same thing goes with computer files. If you only have a few files, it may not that hard to find anything, but if you're like me who has a lot of things saved in the computer, well, it would crazy. I have like thousands of pictures (edited and not), songs, documents, etc. saved in my hard drive. And you can only imagine if I need to restore my computer if it will crash and I don't have the files backed up. Well, thanks to the people who invented online backup programs, I don't have that big of a problem backing up my files.

First, I'm back to blogging again. I know, I know, I said that before too but I never did. I actually did but not for long. Now I'll try to stick to it for one reason, I just realized what should I already have if I never did stop blogging. I realized that yesterday when I was browsing on other blogs and saw the money making resources now and how much they've been earning from it. So, yes I wanna earn money online again.

Then second new thing, I got a kinda new blog. It's not really new it's the same old Money-making blog I have, only that it has a new name and domain. The www.moneyjona.info is now www.KAYOD.info. It's the same topic but I'll try to focus more on online money making resources. So, yes I'm in search of sites where we can all earn money again. Wish me luck!

Please do visit my new site and if you have some ideas that you'd like to share, don't hesitate to leave me a comment. Thanks and have a good one!

So, it will make you eat less.

That sounds a good idea but I'm not saying that it should be good to you too. Like what I'm always saying here, we all have different body, so, a product may be good to me but not to you and vice versa. So I always suggest that you do your own research and see for yourself which one really suits your need. All I'm doing here is sharing with you the products and ideas and I found.

I hope it's clear. I just got done reading the September and August issue, and will be ready for the July issue after blogging.

Anyway, I'd like to share with you the interesting article I've read. Since I mentioned losing weight on my previous post, here is something related to it. The article is titled "The 10 Weight-Loss Tips Ever". Cosmo shared the 10 things that would easily help us lose weight without dieting whatsoever and just simply sticking to a habit. The 10 things are:

♥ SNACK, BUT SMARTLY
♥TURN OFF THE TV while eating
♥STEP ON THE SCALE DAILY
♥SCULPT THREE TIMES WEEK
♥REACH FOR YOUR CELL to redirect your brain from the urge of devouring junk
♥EAT A BIG, BALANCED BREAKFAST
♥WATCH THE BOOZE
♥HAVE A FRUIT TWICE A DAY
♥STAY ASLEEP LONGER
♥VISUALIZE YOURSELF THIN

There, you got it! But if you're as hopeless as me, one easy thing we can do, enroll to a weight loss program. :-D

Or, is it? I have a different way of losing weight now. According to my source, it is effective. It's just sticking to low-calorie food. So, yes, that's what I'm doing now. But what makes it unfair is I have all the low-calorie stuff in our fridge and shelves now, doing kickboxing almost three times a week, and all the other stuff but everything seems to be worthless when a single pint of ice cream gets in. Arrgghhh!

So, I guess, I should seek help from weight loss pills now. What do you think? I think I'm hopeless. LOL. Actually, I'm not kidding. I don't think, I'd really be able to lose weight coz of all the sweet temptations around, especially when a 3-year old wants and needs them.

Of course, I got a Linksys router. Why? Because I used to work as a Linksys technician before and I know how to troubleshoot the thing.

It made me reminisced the time when I worked as a Product Support Representative. Sitting at my station with my Plantronics headset with serial number XS8067 (yes, I still remember coz if we lose it, it'll be worth our annual salary..or maybe not that much), Avaya phone, and computer on my desk. Our job was simply sitting around, listen to the beep before my opening spiel, "Hi, thank you for calling Linksys! This is Jona. How may I help you?", listen to the customers while (most of them) complain about their Linksys product's initial setup without even plugging the product in and running the CD yet, and we do the same thing over and over again. Of course, there are some challenging part such as irate customers, maintaining KPI, and dealing with nonsense. The most rewarding part of it is when the customer would ask to speak to a supervisor to let them know how much I helped them and all the recommendations, praises, etc.

Oh, I loved the job. I really did until I realized that I wasn't going anywhere with it. I don't blame anyone but myself coz I didn't do good enough. I wasn't performing bad either, in fact, it was my performance who was holding me stay on the job or else, they'd already kicked me out a long time ago due to my tardiness and absences. Oh yeah, I was such a lazy ass! But, no, they never kicked me out. I resigned from it.

Now you know why I got Linksys! I only have limited knowledge about the other products so I can't say that they don't work good. But working with Linksys and knowing how much people used it and satisfied with it, I never wanted to look to anything else. Yeah, I'm bias, I know. :-D

Nowadays, call centers had been increasing in the Philippines due to the most known fact that Philippines is less than most money in the world which means that the call center investors can save regarding salary wise for the call center employees. Though there are lots of call centers outside the Philippines but I have only observed what is within our country and it was obvious how the call center starts to get most job-seekers attentions and that made call center business become popular in our country.

As once a call center agent, I can say that being one was never easy in the sense that you need to deal with clients that comes all around the world which some, or maybe most are irates. One thing that's hard about a call center agent is having a multi-tasking job. Being alert is good but the pressure is not. Like most of the other jobs, they are settings targets to be achieved and help the company grow, but in a call center, nothing is consistent. The targets, the pacing, the workers, the standards and anything the like keeps changing and each time it changed, we need to adjust for our jobs to achieved the changes being made.

I don't really cook but I love to cook and I am glad that now I always have the chance to cook. I am always telling Andy that I am willing to learn how to cook coz I really love cooking, it's just that I didn't have the chance to do so while being with my parents coz they always do the job.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Alqau-QL3II/SGJQLxoPe5I/AAAAAAAAAZ8/2yQfNI4whOo/s200/100_0321.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5215819481679362962" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Alqau-QL3II/SGJQMAegaRI/AAAAAAAAAaE/J5ceI1q3XhU/s200/100_0322.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5215819485665061138" />
Anyway, this could not be the very best-tasting cake and it was very easy to make, you only have to follow the instructions. Thanks to Pillsbury cake mix and frosting. All the other ingredients I used is on the Pillsbury box. With the Devil's Cake that I made, I added eggs, 1 tablespoon cooking oil and 2 cups of water. Blend all the ingredients until softened. Grease the pan and put in the oven that was preheated to 350 degree Fahrenheit. Bake it for 30-35 minutes.

Then we ate it with ice cream (see photos above). For me, it taste much better if it's cooled down in the fridge before serving. Glad to have 4396841 (a Whirlpool refrigerator) to keep the food fresh and of course, my chocolate to taste better.

Finally, after 2 weeks living here, I had my first burn. <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Alqau-QL3II/SGjpDiSbTxI/AAAAAAAAAaM/Dw2CISduUM0/s200/100_0348.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217676415261691666" /> I got it accidentally from the side of the oven while I was heating up Enchiladasfor our dinner. Surely it hurts and feels like burning for a few hours. They (Andy, my fiance, and Yvonne, his sister) keeps reminding me that always get apot holder to hold the pot or the pan coz it's hot but they never reminded me that the side of the oven is hot too (hehe), but no I am not blaming it to them. Now, it's not hurting anymore and I hope that it would not leave mark on my arm.

Speaking of which, I'm glad I'm receiving Medicare supplement so that in case worst thing may happen, I'm covered. Outlook for XP and older Windows operating systems. Yes, I have more than one email account, eight, to be exact. Why? For many reasons and I'm not gonna list them all here coz this post isn't about that. But one main reason is security since I'm doing alot of online stuff such as blogging, online jobs, business, etc.

Anyway, just in case you're like me who has a lot of email accounts and wants to access them all in just once click, I'm gonna share with you how I added my accounts in Windows Mail. I, actually, didn't add all of my accounts. Just two of them, Yahoo! and Gmail.

○ Yahoo!

You may have already heard about it, that only those who has Yahoo Mail Plus subscription can import their Yahoo! account to Windows Mail. That's not exactly true. I don't have Mail Plus subscription. Here's what I did:

1. Download YPOPs--an application which emulates a POP3/SMTP mail server and provides free POP3 and SMTP access to Yahoo! Mail.. Go to this link and select the latest version for Windows. Save file and run.
2. Open Windows Mail. Click Tools, then Accounts from the menu bar.
3. Click Add, highlight Email Account, then click Next.
4. Type your name. Click Next.
5. Enter your Yahoo! Mail address [with @yahoo.com]. Click Next.
6. Select POP3 as Incoming e-mail server type. Put 127.0.0.1 under Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server. Put 127.0.0.1 under Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name. Click Next.
7. Type your Yahoo! Mail username [without @yahoo.com] and password. Leave everything else to default. Click Next, Finish, then Close.
8. On your Windows Mail window, click Send/Receive. Wait for your mails to load and you're set!

○ Gmail

Unlike Yahoo!, Gmail is easier to setup because it is supported by its server. All you need to do is login to your Gmail. Click on Settings, then Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. Enable POP then save settings. Then click on Configuration Instructions. Just follow the instructions and you will be set with your Gmail.

For all your other email accounts, just check their settings and see if they have an option for forwarding/importing your emails to Windows Email. If they don't, search it on Google. That's what I did! :-P

Now, I have less hassle checking my accounts. I just had my Yahoo! and Gmail accounts important coz they are the ones that I checked almost everyday, plus all my other emails are setup to be automatically forwarded to my Yahoo! so I can still check the emails coming in without opening my accounts. So, just one click to Windows Mail from my desktop, and I would be able to see all the emails I received.

She knew that I like listening to music, that's why she gave me an iPod.

It took me awhile to use it coz our old computer is, uhmmm.. OLD and I can't download iTunes on it unless I upgrade its operating system to XP Service Pack 2 or higher. It only has Windows XP Home Edition, so I need to have it upgraded to Service Pack 1 then 2. It is such a hassle, I know, so I didn't do it coz I knew that we'll gonna get a new computer anyway. So now that we finally got a new one, I had the iTunes and downloaded my favorite songs in my shuffle. Yay!

Then I just happen to think about how portable media players evolved. I still remember having a walkman before, then came the MP3 players, and now the ipods. Technology! It just keeps getting better which is really good. Now I'm wondering what could be next after iPods. I can't wait!

It was time for me to put out all the wedding and bridal shower gifts that we got but never had the space until now. Anyway, this post is not about that. While I was cleaning and sorting everything, I found alot of interesting stuff that I never saw until last Monday. And I'm gonna share with you one that I'm sure will be interesting for you too.

I saw a couple pages of printed e-mail with the Subject Scrabble dated May 21, 2007.

Someone out there either has too much spare time or is deadly at Scrabble (wait till you see the last one)!

DORMITORY
When you rearrange the letters:
DIRTY ROOM

PRESBYTERIAN
When you rearrange the letters:
BEST IN PRAYER

ASTRONOMER
When you rearrange the letters:
MOON STARER

DESPERATION
When you rearrange the letters:
A ROPE ENDS IT

THE EYES
When you rearrange the letters:
THEY SEE

GEORGE BUSH
When you rearrange the letters:
HE BUGS GORE

THE MORSE CODE
When you rearrange the letters:
HERE COME DOTS

SLOT MACHINES
When you rearrange the letters:
CASH LOST IN ME

ANIMOSITY
When you rearrange the letters:
IS NO AMITY

ELECTION RESULTS
When you rearrange the letters:
LIES - LET'S RECOUNT

SNOOZE ALARM
When you rearrange the letters:
ALAS!
