Before jumping into the pool, wet your hair in the pool shower, or even a water bottle... your hair is like a sponge, so if you wet it before jumping into the pool... your hair will have soaked up regular water rather than the chlorinated pool water. This will help with drying, and color fading also!

b. Take a water bottle with a small amount of conditioner mixed into it to the pool with you... this is great for when you get out of the pool... spray it in your hair and with a large tooth comb distribute the water and conditioner through your hair.

c. When combing your hair, always start from the ends and work your way up the hair shaft..don't just rip through your hair..not only does this damage and break your hair, but by starting at the top and yanking your way down, you are only tightening those knots!
