Welcome to Beautyshaala!

Today we are going to share a review of MSM Express Box for the Month of March.
The Express Subscription comes in a beautiful Pink Box and other versions MSM have different color themes. This time there are total five products and all of them are useful and worthy.

Let’s move on to have a look on each product in detail....

Natural Bath & Body – Bathing Bar

This is a rose and almond bathing bar. It has a pleasant smell of fresh roses. It is made up of all-natural ingredients like: rose petals, Shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil and walnuts. Though the quantity is not mentioned but it seems to be a full size product. It costs INR 175.

Biobloom – Face Mist

We've all heard of body mist but face mist is something new for me I guess.

It has a wonderful fragrance of jasmine so once you spray it on to your face you'll get a refreshing feeling. I think this is a much required product during summers especially while you are travelling. During summers, while we are travelling mostly the face gets too sticky and full of dust so the best solution is to gently spray face mist/spray on your face and wait for some time to get it absorbed and then clean your face using a tissue. It costs INR 250 for 50 ml of product.

Inveda – BB Cream

This is a usual BB cream with SPF 20 in the shade - Fair. Before dispatching this month's MSM Box, MSM team called to ask the shade preference for BB Cream, so there it is. It has come in a small tube with beautiful packaging of bright orange color. Inveda is a skincare brand which claims to have products with natural ingredients in them. It costsINR 140 for 15 g of product.

Fuschia - Moisturiser

This is a small size bottle of cleansing moisturizer with rose and geranium extracts. The scent is amazing and after applying it, my skin felt much better. Fuschia makes hand-made skin care products which is the best thing about it. This is a nice sample pack which you can carry in your purse to anywhere. It costs INR 225 for 50 ml of product.

Roots - Makeup Brush

Well, luckily I've got pancake makeup brush which a useful tool to have in your vanity. This is a full length brush and has very soft bristles. For those who like to use large brushes for applying powder/concealer on their face, this brush is not going to help them but I find it useful for eye shadow application. It costs INR 90.

All the products are as always good and most importantly are usable. I like this subscription because of its affordability and good choice of products.

Lady Raga team has sent a bright pink bag which has a main pocket and a side pocket. It's a good bag for keeping cosmetics. Personally I didn't like the bag much as its cloth is a bit too shimmery which is not my type, though it seems sturdy unlike other subscriptions.

Vertigo - Shower Gel

Beautyshaala - Vertigo shower Gel

Lady Raga has sent Vertigo Shower Gel, as a full sized product. Its 6 FL.oz and costs INR 1099.

This gel hydrates the skin very well, and you won't feel like applying any after bath lotion to your body. Its non-sticky and has a pleasant smell. Good for summers as its very light and suitable for all skin types.

Wet n wild - Orange-Red Lipstick

Beautyshaala - Wet n wild Orange-Red Lipstick

We have received the Wet n wild full sized lipstick from Lady Raga which costs INR 699.

The shade of the lipstick is just superb. It's a reddish orange shade with a slight shimmer in it.

The packaging looks nice but the cap seems to be a bit flimsy. You can easily wear it on a bright summer day. Its a nice shade which goes well with all skin tones and with all kind of dresses be it Indian or western.

Handcuff

Lady Raga has send a nice piece of jewelry - Handcuff, worth INR 575. I am very fond of junk jewelry and really like this one as it gives bold and beautiful look. Its golden in color and would go well with any western attire.

Adjustable Ring

This is a golden-crystal adjustable ring costs INR 449. It has a unique design and too is shiny.

Some people might like it, while I may it gift it to someone as I find it too gaudy to use.

Surprise Gift

Lady raga has sent a lip gloss as a surprise gift so as usual the price of the product is not mentioned. I have received a pink lip gloss. It is sparkling and very sticky. I tried putting it but couldn't resist even for a min. They should have tested the product before sending it. Very sticky product and too many shimmers in it.

Overall, Lady Raga has sent nice product of INR 2822 including the surprise gift, in only INR 666 per month.

I like most of this month's products as well as jewelry (Handcuff). Awaiting for the next month's bag.

Lady raga bag comes in a small price amounting to Rs 666 having high end products.

It has 4 products this month with a beautiful surprise gift for the beautiful you making it a value for money subscription. The bag they've sent is decent in looks but is of very good quality and has lots of space to keep your stuff.

This is a good small size tool to have in your purse.This is a basic filer and it won't leave your nails rough and hard after the usage. It has pretty floral design on it too. It costs INR 120/-

Boho beads Mala:

This beads mala costs INR 375/- Its very funky and colorful product to flaunt this summer.
It is made up of small colorful wooden pieces. It can be put on any casual attire specially when you are going to visit beaches.

e.l.f - Brigtheneing Eye color:

This is one of the most expensive product from the bag and costs INR 790.

It has 4 colors namely - shimmer white, golden, blue and green. white can be applied at the corner of the eyes to give them a bold look this summer. The lighter shades can be easily used as a highlighter for your face.

NYC - Liquid Lip Shine:

This liquid lip shine costs INR 1099/- for 7.2 ml, the costliest product in the bag. It has no color to it, but can be applied on any lip color to give that extra shine to your lips.The good thing about this gloss is that its non-sticky and long lasting.

Surprise gift - Earrings:

This is a surprise gift in this month's bag. These are nice small studs with stone embedded in a golden ring and black bead at the back. These are really in these days so you can make a good use out of it. The cost is not mentioned for this product as always.

We got late in posting the March Lady Raga 2016 subscription review due to some reasons. But We promise to post it as soon as we receive my next month bag.

This is going to be a review of my March - FAB BAG.

This month they’ve sent a shimmery silver pouch with total six products inside it. Like last month, no choice option was given through email so everything was a surprise.

Sugar Cosmetics – Vivid Lipstick:

This is in shade ‘Big Bang Berry’ which is a dark berry shade with matte finish. The packaging is brilliant and quite unique as you can see in the pictures. There is proper locking mechanism while you twist the bullet up and down.

The staying power is decent but not too sure whether this shade would go with all skin tones as it’s too dark to wear. It costs INR 599 for 3.5 gm of product.

Wella Professionals – Elements Renewing Mask and Shampoo

This is a hair mask to renew the beauty and strength of your hair. The fragrance is so refreshing and amazing that you’ll love to smell your hair after using it. You should massage it into your hair (don’t waste it by applying on your scalp) and leave it for 5-10 minutes then rinse it thoroughly .It costs INR 200 for 30 ml.

The other one is a sulphate free shampoo to renew the moisture and preserve the strength of the hair. Like the Renewing mask, this shampoo also smells great and makes your hair really soft and smooth. It costs INR 175 for 30 ml.

Both the above products are samples but sufficient to try out and get the desired results. Wella Professionals is a well-known brand, so do not hesitate to try these products.

Ayorma – Daily Scrub and Ayorma – Facewash

These are the tiniest pack of samples I’ve ever seen. These just seem to be for one or two time use only. First one is fairness daily face scrub crafted from spa oils. The packaging says: “For a spa like experience at your home”. It costs INR 45 for 8 ml of product.

The other one is fairness and anti-tan face wash which is again made up of spa oils. It has a very strong herbal kind of fragrance. It costs INR 28 for 8ml of product. As I’ve told you these are very small samples so you can carry them even in the smallest of your purses or pouch.

All the above products claim to be Parabens free. For those who don't know, Parabens are used as preservatives in the cosmetic products. But unfortunately, they are said to have many side effects to our skin and health.

Divo – Eyelash Curler

This is something which every makeup lover already has and no one would like to have variety in such kind of products unless they often tend to lose things from their vanity. Its a usual eyelash curler with silicone rubber pad. So this is again a not so useful product from the bag and costs INR 125.

This was it in the March’s Fab bag. Not too impressive and they could have surely done a better job with the choice of products. Hope to get a better bunch of products in the April Fab Bag.

This month they’ve sent a beautiful red pouch with five products inside it. This time we were not given any choice option through email so everything was a surprise.

Hikari Cosmetics – Lip Crayon

This is a full size matte lip crayon in the shade ‘Duchess’. This is a very bold and deep berry colour. The application is smooth and unlike other matte lipsticks, it won’t dry out your lips. It lasted for about 3-4 hours, which is great. It is 2.5gm of product for INR 1000.

SeaSoul – Body Massage Candle

This is a massage candle having Dead Sea minerals and vitamins to soften your skin. Now you must be thinking that how is it possible for a candle to affect your skin? Actually you need to light this candle and pour the melted oil on to the skin and continue massaging. The box says that spatula is provided but it’s not present anywhere. It is a full size product which costs INR 300 for 50 ml. This product is too luxurious to use and I think it would not be of too much use to most of the people.

Ayorma – Night Cream

This is fairness and cell renews night cream by Ayorma. Is has very soft and smooth texture, the quantity is not much but just about enough to try out and get the results. It costs INR 195 for 15 gm.

Just Herbs – Lip Balm

This is a pot lip balm of flavour ‘Coorgi Coffee’. This is an amazing lip balm with the true smell of coffee and also keeps my lips moisturised for a long time. Its best time to it use at night before you go to sleep. It costs INR 345 for 8gm.

Chamki – Nail Enamel

This is nail enamel in a very nice metallic pink shade. The name of the brand is ‘chamki’ which means glittery but the nail paint is not at all glittery, in fact it is a quite decent shade which would go with any dress or occasion.

So guys, this was all in my February FAB BAG. We apologize for such a late review and we know that February’s bag is no more available but still just wanted to share the details about all the products so that you can use this review before buying them.

Today we are going to share a review of MSM Express Box for the Month of Love…February :)

This is one of the subscriptions which comes in a box and MSM Express always comes in a beautiful pink box. There are total 6 products in this month and one out of six is a bonus product which you get every time you book multiple subscriptions (3/6/12 months).

Let’s move on to have a look on each product:

Inatur – Daily Care Shampoo:

This is a herbal brand and claims it is 100% vegan. The shampoo is for all hair types and can be used for daily purpose. It costs INR 110 for 110 ml. So if your planning to change your shampoo and want to experiment with something new, this could be a good option as it not that expensive.

Biobloom – Lip balm

This is a pot lip balm by Biobloom. It has a very strong minty fragrance and is really moisturizing.The quantity is 8 gm and costs INR 115. It is a refreshing lip balm and you can easily use it at night before sleep to keep your lips moisturized.

Essence - Lip Liner

This lips liner is in the shade ‘cute pink’. It is really smooth to apply on the lips. It will go with almost all shades of pink lipsticks so quite useful if you want to have defined and well-shaped lips. It costs INR 125 for 1 gm.

Page 3 - Fat Lip Pencil

This looks like a lip crayon in shade ‘skinny’ which is a light pink shade with blue undertones. It’s a retractable lip crayon so you don’t need to sharpen it every time before use. The description says: “One swipe and you’re done! Apply it on lips, or cheeks or even your eyelid”, so it seems like a multipurpose crayon. The quantity is not mentioned anywhere, but the price specified is INR 450.

Kronokare - Hair Conditioner

This is a small bottle of 6 ml hair conditioner which says: “Hydrate and Untangle”, which means it softens and untangles hair which basically is the job of every hair conditioner. Although Kronokare is a relatively new brand but their hair care products are really good to use, so this product is really a bonus. It contains natural extracts of orange, Bergamot & grapefruit and smells delicious. It costs INR 115 for this quantity of product.

Printed Scarf

This time they have sent a beautiful multi colored scarf, which is perfect for summers. It is a full length scarf with beautiful floral prints on it but sadly as you can see in the picture, the edges of the scarf are not finished. It costs INR 800, which is too much for a cotton scarf.

Overall, the Feb MSM Box was pretty good and all the products were useful. We hope you like this review and do let us know what have you received in your MSM Express Box.

It has five fabulous products this time, packed in a small red pouch which is quite handy. The pouch is not that amazing but for a beauty subscription it is the products that make it worth the price.

This is one of the most expensive products from the bag which costs INR 919. The quantity of this product is not mentioned in the bottle. This is a great blush which easily gets absorbed into your skin by giving an extraordinary smooth effect with a hint of rose. You can apply it with your finger or a brush to the cheekbone in a tapping motion and blend in.

Jacqui's - Passion Body Mist :

The fragrance of this mist is pretty nice and also long lasting. It comes in a small bottle which can easily be kept in your handbag or a pouch. It costs is INR 150 for 50 ml.

Color Fever Professional - Lip Liner :

This is a Lip liner in the shade Brown. This is a decent lip liner and is quite smooth to apply. It costs INR 75.

Touchstone Bracelet :

Meches Colorants - Hair Highlighter (Surprise gift)

Well I love this surprise gift by Lady Raga because I have been looking for a hair highlighter for so long. This is a transparent one which will give a beautiful shine to your hair for every occasion.

The quantity is 7 gm and as always the price is not mentioned as its a surprise gift :)

This month there were total five products and one of them was listed for the choice option (Details mentioned in this blog). The total worth of the bag is INR 3400 approximately (Wow!!)

Fab Bag January 2016

Votre - Face Serum (INR 1670 for 12 ml)

This is a full size ayurvedic product in the bag. As the name says, it’s a face serum enriched with herbal oils which helps to brighten the complexion and reduce fine lines. It has a nice rosy kind of fragrance probably because of one of its oil content (rosehip oil).

The direction to use is simply to take a few drops of the serum and massage it on your face until it gets absorbed. Well, I have just started using it and will keep you posted about the end result (If any).

Makeup Revolution - The Matte Effect Concealer Stick (INR 550)

Before dispatching the bag, all the FAB BAG subscribers were contacted by FAB BAG team through email to choose a product of their choice from a particular set of products listed in their website link.

Makeup Revolution - Concealer Stick

The options which were given in the list were:

1. TheBalm - Stainiac (1.2 ml)

2. Fran Wilson - Mood Matcher Lipstick (Green) – Green is
just the appearance of the lipstick but it actually is a pretty pink colour.

3. Makeup Revolution - The Matte Effect Concealer Stick

4. Inveda - BB Cream

5. Lollipop Paris - Anti Cerenes Concealer (Light Beige)

Getting back to my product – Makeup Revolution - The Matte Effect Concealer Stick MC 01: This is a very small concealer stick which is quite handy and hence travel friendly. As the name says, it is definitely matte so could be a good option for someone with oily skin type. It has decent coverage and works well for me!

Just Herbs - Gotukola Indian Ginseng Rejuvenating Beauty Elixir (INR 985 for 12 ml)

This is another full size herbal product (facial serum) for the treatment of spots or any other forms of skin pigmentation, and also in diminishing fine lines and skin ageing. I’ve heard a lot about this product but unfortunately it is of not much use for me so I have asked a friend to make good use of this serum and let me know the results, so that I can share it with you guys.

Natural Bath & Body - Vitamin E Whipped Cream (INR 275/- for 50 gm)

It is a sample product of just 15 gm. This is a whipped cream for oily and sensitive skin. I like it already because of its wonderful fragrance and ultra-light texture.

Natural Bath & Body - French Red Clay Face Masque (INR 450/- for 100 gm)

This is again a sample product of 20 gm. This is a clay mask which benefits mainly in the summers or the oily skin. Directions to use are as usual for any face mask. I hope it benefits me too.

So people, this was all in my January FAB BAG and I think this was a good start for the year. Though I was not too impressed with the pouch they've sent this time but nevertheless they made it up with good products.

I hope FAB BAG will keep on sending such impressive products throughout the year. “Fingers crossed” .
