A. Background
Undeniably digitizing increasingly penetrated into all fields, including fields
education. From there came the term "blog as a medium of learning?" From searching here and there, I did find some teacher's blog on the topic of education. But, frankly I do not know for sure whether these blogs are used as a medium of learning.
Regardless, I think, the blog has the potential to be developed as a medium of learning. At least the articles in these blogs can enrich teaching materials outside the teaching-learning process in person. In addition, through blogs, the material can be presented more attractive. For, can be equipped with graphics, illustrations / pictures / photos, videos, etc.. Because the blog we are invited to write and read that today these activities are being abandoned people.

With blogs, the learning process also can still take place even if the teacher is unable to give lessons in person at the school. For example when there is the task of upgrading or follow a specific task. This can be done among others through a scheduled post.
Below is a sample blog that contains articles on knowledge about the internet.

B. Formulation of the problem
• What are the benefits of a blog?
• Why blogs could be a medium of learning afternatif?
C. Research purposes
The purpose of this study was to determine what, are the benefits of blogs, invite us to make the blog as a medium of learning. In order to cultivate re-write and read.
D. Theoretical basis
In the face of the current era of globalization, every student should be able to use technology to keep up with the times.
Blog Definition
Origin of the word blog comes from web log. Web means that the Internet, and the log mean is the record. Literally, blogs can be defined as a diary, written and published on the internet. Actually there is no one definitive definition of a blog. There are many definitions of blogs that were scattered in the Internet universe. One of the earliest definitions of blogs is the definition of a blog by Rebecca Blood, www.rebeecablood.net blog owner and author of The Weblog Handbook,
Blog is a web page, with the most recent posts placed at the very top of the content, content is frequently updated - sometimes several times a day. Often on the side of the web page there is a list of links (links) that refer to similar pages.
The definition of blogs by Isnaini Ahmed, owner of www.isnaini.com blog, blog or weblog is a personal record on the internet. contain information that is frequently updated and chronologically. blogs are more synonymous with a diary. fundamental difference is that blogs can be read who wrote. many blogs that focus on one object information, such as politics, web design, sports etc.. but most blogs are more like personal journals, which provides travel and daily life of someone blogger
While the definition of blogs by Faith Priyadi Nurcahyo, www.priyadi.net blog owner is:
1. Contains writings arranged chronologically
2. Relying on CMS software
3. Having a facility's comments
4. Has a syndication format, such as RSS or Atom
5. His writing is made from a personal standpoint the author
Of the three definitions, there is a thread that can be drawn about the definition of blogs:
a) The Blog is a web page
b) Blogs written by individuals or groups with conversational language and no formal
c) Blog has a facility that allows visitors to leave a blog comment
d) A paper is in a blog is always updated within a certain period
e) The content of a blog is sorted according to chronological time, recent posts located at the very top.

Benefits blog
Blog comes from the word which means web-log records on the web. As home he said, the blog has the main benefit as a medium for conveying information uniuk. Both the personal silatnya, for example diaries, or can also be used for promotion. Blogs can also be used to attract minas. The goal is to attract people to write down their experiences. However, the use of blogs in Indonesia is still limited. Still not maksimat. A good blog can actually cause an inspiration to readers. Payload good writing can certainly give a good effect too. An example is the valuable advice or experience. Through blogs, we can also capture the network, especially with people who have similar interests and hobbies. From there we can exchange experiences and information.
Telematic expert Roy Suryo

Learning Media
The word "media" comes from the Latin word "medium" which means "intermediate" or "introduction". Furthermore, the media is a means of channeling the message or who want to learn the information conveyed by the message source to the target or recipient of the message (Rahardjo, 1986:47). In ¬ teaching and learning activities, the source of the message is the teacher and the recipient is a student. In the process of learning, teaching media is a container and channeling messages from the message source, in this case the teacher, to the recipient of the message, in this case students. In the broader boundaries, Miarso (in Rahardjo, 1986:48) gives the limits of teaching media as everything that can be used to stimulate thoughts, feelings, concerns, and the willingness of students so as to encourage tedadinya pads student learning. In line with the above opinion, Ely (in Danim, 1994:13) mentions the benefits of media in teaching is as follows:
a. Improving the quality of education by increasing the speed of learning (rate of learning), helping teachers to use students' learning time as well, reducing the burden on teachers in presenting information and making teachers more purposeful activity to enhance the spirit of learning
b. Gives the possibility of education that is more individualized with roads to minimize or reduce the traditional teacher control and rigid, giving ample opportunity for children to develop according to his ability and enables them to learn in the way he wants.
c. Give a more scientific basis of teaching by way of present / planned program logic and systematic teaching, develop teaching activities through research, both as a complement or as applied.
d. Teaching can be carried out steadily due to increasing human ability to make use of communication media, information and data in a more concrete and rational.
e. Increasing realization of the proximity of learning (learning immediacy) as medium of instruction can eliminate or reduce the gulf between the reality outside the classroom and in the classroom as well as providing direct knowledge.
f. Giving the presentation of a broader education, especially through the mass media, by utilizing a shared and broader events ¬ rare events and present information that is not too, emphasized the limits of space and time.

Learning success
The success of learning undertaken by teachers and students is determined by its effectiveness in the achievement of learning competencies. UNESCO (1996) set out four pillars of education that is truly ¬ Barns was considered by the management education world, namely:
a. Learning to master of science (learning to know)
b. Learning to master the skills (learning to do)
c. Learning to live in a society (learning to live together)
d. Learn to develop themselves to the maximum (learning to be).
a. Learning to know
In this case the position of a teacher should serve as facilitators in learning. In addition, teachers jugs are required to be able to actively participate as peers in dialogue with students in developing knowledge and mastery of specific knowledge.
b. Learning to do
Will be able to walk if the school facilitates the students to actualize the skills it possesses, as well as the talents and interests. The detection of students' talents and interests can be done through an aptitude test and interest (Attitude test). Although many talents and interests of children affected offspring element (Heredity) but growing development talent and interest in the environment depends pads. Today, the skills can be used sustain the life of a person's skills even more dominant than the mastery of knowledge in supporting the success of one's life. For An coaching on the skills students need to get serious attention.
c. Learning to Live together
One function of education is a socializing agency, the order of life, it means preparing students to be able to live in a society. Social situations should be conditioned on environmental education. The habit of living together, soling respect, open, giving and receiving, should be cultivated.
d. Learning to be
Maximum self-development is closely connected with the talents and interests, physical and psychological development, typology of children's personal and environmental conditions. For children who are aggressive, self-development process will run when given ample opportunity to be creative. In contrast to the child a passive role of teachers as well as a facilitator is needed referring to the maximum personal development of students. The ability of self is formed in schools to the maximum allowed children to develop self-pads a higher level. The four pillars will run well if it was colored with the development of religiousness. Religious values is necessary for every citizen of Indonesia in the tread life of this world. Integrating religious values into the subjects taught / learned students would be more effective in shaping children's personalities are air-Ketuhahan the Almighty rather than taught in a monolithic full of concepts.

Some of the SEO “experts” we encounter exhibit less than tasteful attributes. Having been inspired by The Oatmeal, I’ve taken the liberty of illustrating some of the bad SEO professionals.

I understand that I might be slightly hypocritical in this post. I’ve found myself displaying some of the characteristics below.
Big Words/Acronyms SEO

You may have caught yourself using jargon that might be over your clients’ heads. These SEO Experts may know the trade, they just lack the ability to communicate effectively with clients. If you notice that your client has a blank look, you may want to ask if they don’t understand something you’re saying.
Sparkling, White Hat SEO

Don’t get me wrong, white hat is the way to go in SEO. However, some incompetent SEOs may claim that their lack of linkbuilding is due to high moral principles. They put on a facade of “White Hat.” These SEOs either don’t get linkbuilding or they don’t want to put forth the effort to do it. Of course there are plenty of gray/black hat ways of building links. But other linkbuilding methods such as submitting a press release, creating quality linkbait, etc. are legitimate and great for SEO.

Conversion Expert Turned SEO

The Conversion Expert SEO is more uncommon. These SEOs somehow mistakenly believe that user experience is intricately connected with SEO. They carry the label of “Internet Marketer” but they only talk about conversion and design. The idea of increasing traffic rarely crosses their minds

Self-Proclaimed Social Media Expert

The Social Media Expert may have been an SEO who was drawn into the hype of Social Media. He tells the world that he is a Social Media Expert because he knows how to use Facebook and Twitter. He frequently talks about “going viral,” although he has no idea how to go viral. And sadly, he measures his effectiveness based on the number of followers and friends he acquires.

IT Guy

SEO is an IT thing right? Wrong. Unfortunately, the in-house IT guy thinks that SEO belongs to the IT department since it involves algorithms and coding. While SEO may require someone with a bit of HTML skills, it should belong to the marketing department and more specifically a “Search Team.”

Bad Grammar Offshore SEO

We get plenty of emails and comments filled with poor translation grammar. Do you really want someone who’s using a translation tool to do your keyword research? These SEOs may be cheap but not very effective.

Black Hat SEO

The Black Hat SEO should be avoided like the plague. He may get you fast results, but those results will quickly decline after Google notices the spammy tactics around your website. Black Hat SEOs will always take the easy way out and often do more damage than good.

How to Rank High in Search Engines Result Pages (SERP’s)

By Carolyn Clayton

Studies have revealed that 90% of Internet users find websites through search engines and out of those users, 90% do not go past the first 30 results displayed. With this in mind it is easy to see why it’s important for your website to rank high in these results.

Search Engine Results Pages (SERP's) are the pages you see after you type in a search on Google or other search engines and click on the Search button. Because 90% of people use search engines to find what they are looking for these SERP’s are the most important pages on the internet.

The Search Engines Result Pages (SERP’s) can be broadly divided into two categories: “Organic” or ”Natural” listings and Paid Advertisements usually bought on a "Pay Per Click" (PPC) basis.

Roughly 80% of clicks at Google occur within the organic listings not the PPC listings. This is why is it important to get your site to rank naturally in the search engine result pages. Getting your site to rank high is not tricky; it’s just a matter of optimising your website to be search engine friendly. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the process of engineering your website so it can be properly read by the search engine spiders. SEO is pretty much common sense, search engines are text analysis systems so if your webpage is full of images with little text your site will not rank high. You need to target each keyword/phrase on different pages. So if you want to target the search terms “business plans” you need to have one page with the title “business plans” and lots of text about “business plans”.

To me this is just common sense but then I have been working in the SEO field for a number of years. However it never ceases to amaze me why people still call their home pages “home” or have their business name on the title of every single page of website. The owners probably search for their business and are pleased when it comes up first in Google. This is only good for the customers that know your company which is fine for large brands like Argos or Amazon but if you’re trying to get customers from for internet users you need to optimise your text for the search engines.

The other aspect of getting high SERPs is trust and authority. It is kind of no different than any other business trying to gain trust and a good reputation. Forgetting the cyber world for a moment, in the real world established businesses have much more clout that new start up businesses. Like your favourite restaurant. If a new restaurant opened up just down the street you might not want to chance eating there and stick with your favourite restaurant. Now if you hear that its gaining a good reputation for good food you might then decide to try it out yourself. The same can be said about websites except the trust you get is via an algorithm. The more links you get from already established trusted (authoritive) sites the more Google will trust you. It makes sense really, because a good website will not link to a rubbish or not relevant website.

Another aspect of trust is by doing things with the search engines terms and conditions. This means building links naturally and using keywords excessively. Adding 500 pages in one day is not a naturally progression, search engines like websites to expand naturally, anything else and their warning lights flash which means they might look into your site and possibly penalise it.

So the only way to obtain high SERPs is to do everything the search engines like. This means building websites that are easy to navigate (so users and the crawlers can find every page easily) ,have lots of good relevant interesting content and plenty of trusted links. Make your website the best site on the internet in your chosen niche and you shouldn’t go far wrong.

The idea behind building backlinks is as simple as trying to get links that point directly to your website. Most people do not understand the concept of this search engine optimization activity. However, if you are aiming to put up an online business, then you should carefully understand the reasons why you should spend some time in building quality backlinks for you website.

The main reason why you need to build backlinks is to get higher traffic in such a way that when people come across your links over the internet, they are most likely to click on them and visit your site. When you are able to reach more people and direct more people to your site, the more likely you are going to get your products sold. Aside from the visible links that you get to see on web pages, it can also be the start of a good viral marketing campaign wherein people who notice your site are most likely to tell their friends about it; hence, driving more visitors to your site.

There are far more other reasons on why you should concentrate on how you can effectively build backlinks and among these reasons is for your site to gain higher search engine rankings. Gone are the days when you simply have to put up your site, get a catchy domain name, and put up keyword-rich contents to see your site top the search results. The way that search engine providers such as Google, MSN Bing, and Yahoo deal with page rankings and search result positions are far more complex now.

It has been a common knowledge that what drives up your popularity and page ranking is the number of quality links that are targeted towards your website. This means that the more links you get, the higher your chances are of being on top of the search results page. However, this does not mean that search engine providers prefer the quantity of links you have rather than the quality of such. In fact, Google and Yahoo generally look into the quality of each link. Simply put, search engines will find your site to be relevant and reliable if popular sites link to you. This does not only pulls your page popularity up, but it also drives more traffic to your site while allowing you to reach more readers and prospect customers in no time.

There are far too many ways to build backlinks. In fact, the possibilities are only limited by the creativity and patience of the internet marketer. With the advent of Internet technology and the evident ease it shows in communication, it is impossible for you not to find an avenue where you can kick-off your internet marketing campaign. You can try finding sites that you like and simply e-mail the webmaster and offer a link exchange. There are also social bookmarking sites which you can take advantage of. These sites can generate quality links to your site without requiring you to link back to their site as well.

Search Engine Optimization companies are making a fortune by doing the menial work that is overlooked by many designers. It is ridiculously easy to do most of the work done by most SEO companies, all you have to do is create good habits.

There are 9 main points you should focus on:

• Keywords
• URL Text
• Description, Meta tags
• Title tags
• Image Names
• ALT tags
• Heading tags
• Content
• Hyperlinks

The focus of these 8 steps is to load your pages with as many "keywords" as possible.

Keywords
Keywords are the most important aspect of good SEO, this is where you tell the Search Engines what your site is about. Search Engines use an algorithm to determine the "Keyword Density" of your site, this formula is:

Total Words ÷ Keywords= Keyword Density

Use this formula on your competitors web site and see how they score, then aim to beat that score.

Choose keywords that best relate to the information, products or services that you are offering. For instance, if I am designing a site about "Web Design", I want my site to include the words "Web Design" as many times as possible.

However, most people don't just search for just one word, they type phrases, so you should consider the phrases that best suit your sites target market. For example, if I am creating a site about "Web Design" in New Orleans, I would include "New Orleans web design" in my keywords. Another way around this is to not separate my keywords with commas, just use spaces, and the Search Engines will make the phrases for you. The most important thing to remember is that the content of each page is different, so only use keywords pertaining to that page.

URL Text
When you name a new page you have the option to call it anything you could possibly think of, why not se a keyword? After all, the URL address is the first things a search engine comes across when indexing your pages. You have to remember content doesn't come easy to everyone, so you gotta slip in your keywords when the process gives you an easy one.

Description Meta tags
These tags are dwindling in importance since Search Engines are now looking at content, but every little bit counts.

Optimize your meta tags to match your content, products, and services, and the Search Engines that still look at meta data will reward your efforts.

Title Tags
Title tags are the tags that tell the Search Engine the title, or formal description of the document or page. This is the word or phrase that is seen at the top of the browser window. The most important rule about title tags is, don't put anything in the title tags but keywords. Once again this is an easy time to slip in your keywords, so don't miss out.

Image Names
As I said before, content doesn't come easy to everyone, so slip in your keywords whenever possible, this applies to image names. If you are saving a picture of a guy working on a computer for your web design web site, don't call it "some_dude.jpg", call it "web_site_design.jpg". The Search engine will look at the code for the site and see the image pertains to the content of the site and this will be another relevant element on that particular page. You have to take the easy ones when you are given a chance.

ALT tags
Alt tags are keywords that you can attach to images, giving more weight to the image since Search Engines can't analyze the content of the image itself. Here is a chance to slip in more keywords without writing great content, use it.

Heading tags
Heading tags are associated with the bold font that leads into a section of text. Like this:

Web Design
Web Design Inc. offers custom web site designs...

Your heading tags should only be keywords, and should be presented in the order that your Meta tags follow.

H1= first meta tag, H2= second meta tag...

Try to utilize all 6 heading tags on each page to ensure maximum page optimization.

Content
As every expert will tell you, "Content is King." Each web page should have at least 350 words on it, and the more the better, but keep in mind the formula for keyword density. You don't want to fill a page with 1500 words of jibba-jabba and only 5 keywords in it. Some people get hung-up on how browsers display text, and use images with text in them because they want a cool font, but browsers can't read the text embedded in images, so this content ads no weight to the page in a Search Engines eyes.

Linkbaiting is the new trend among high ranking sites. Linkbaiting means writing quality content, or articles that other web sites can display on their pages as long as they give credit, and a link to your site.

You don't have to be a vi or emac expert to write good web content, just be thoughtful of how you word things and incorporate your keywords.

Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks are text links to other pages on your site. The rules of SEO and hyperlinks are easy:

• Use hyperlinks so the Search Engine will have a text link to follow to the next page
• Don't use one word links, use long link phrases, preferably keyword phrases
• Use bullets, or some sort of small image that you can attach an ALT tag to, this will ad more importance to the link, and throw in a couple of free keywords for you.

Keep these 9 aspects in mid when designing a site, and you are sure to have a leg up on the competition.

The World Wide Web is similar to tests of strength knights of yesteryears went through. To taste success a website needs to be more than functional or great looking. It is a complicated business and webmasters are now kept on their toes trying to get higher rankings on search engines.

The secret lies in appealing to search engine spiders and so you need to know in detail how a spider works before you build a site.

• Spiders read text and cannot comprehend images, colours or graphics. So, any page that is design friendly with little or no content it will receive a low rank. Unless, you include in text format information contained in graphic images; submit only URLs of main content pages and not splash pages; include ALT descriptions of all pictures and include keywords that pertain to them.

• Know that the components that attract spiders are: TITLE tags, META tags, Header tags, keywords, and links. Many spiders score entire sites based on the overall scheme.

• Spiders read algorithms and do not take in whole pages. So, be news savvy and like newspapers place the most important information first. Titles, headers, and the introductory paragraphs must present the essentials.

• Keep updated on technical advancements in the way search engines examine materials. Read through guidelines of major search engines, as well as blogs and forum devoted to SEO and spiders.

Once your page is designed think about using a search engine stimulator to evaluate your pages. See: www.webconfs.com/search-engine-spider-simulator.php you can add the tool to your website. The report will clarify where you need to make any changes.

A search engine stimulator will also help you determine whether hyperlinks in your pages are "real." Experts recommend using tags instead of java script based menus. Try and limit hyperlinks to less than 100 and check that they do not lead to 403 Forbidden or 404 Page Not Found pages. Spiders do not deal with such errors and your pages will not get indexed.

What any search engine spider does is that is crawls the web and indexes pages in any given database. The spider makes use of algorithms to determine page ranking and relevancy of indexed pages.

Be SEO savvy and select keywords that search engines will find. Tools like Keyword Playground and Website Key Word Suggestions will help greatly. Avoid dynamic pages and if you have them then run them through the spider stimulator to check if dynamic pages are accepted. Get your Meta Keywords and Meta Descriptions Right these are the delicacies a spider relishes. They are the cornerstones of page ranking and relevance in the "eyes" of any spider.

When planning a web site and its pages keep in mind at all times " the spider." This will help you develop pages that are search engine friendly.

Website traffic is deemed the single most important factor when it comes to the success of a website but that statement needs to be qualified. Although it's true that a constant stream of traffic is the lifeblood of a website, the quality of the traffic is far more important than the quantity.

Of course, any amount of website traffic is better than no traffic at all but even if you have the most perfect website, your site is doomed to fail if you are not getting visitors that are looking for the products or information you have available on your site.

It's easy to get caught up in a numbers game. It's exciting to see the number of visitors to your site climb from a few a day to a few hundred a day. On the surface, this looks like exactly what you want but if your visitors are looking for something other than what you are offering, for the most part, your website traffic is wasted.

You could have a great website design, compelling copy, the lowest prices and fantastic specials but all your efforts will be useless unless your website is drawing traffic that is interested in what you are providing or promoting.

What you need are visitors specifically interested in your product or service -- you need 'targeted traffic'.

Don't think of targeted traffic as a sub-category of website traffic because they really are two separate entities. If you're marketing plan is designed to drive as much website traffic as possible to your site, no matter what kind of traffic it is, then you're not making effective use of your time and you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

The web is a very different venue than a shopping mall. A shopping mall relies on unfocused traffic, wondering from store to store, not looking for anything in particular but willing to spend it's money on an impulse.

Believe it or not, people surfing the web will leave a website after viewing it for only about 2 seconds. They're looking for specific items or information and if they don't quickly find what they are looking for on your site, they'll click out of your site and go to one of the other millions of sites on the web.

That's why most of the successful websites are tightly focused on their 'niche' and their marketing plan is focused on driving people to their site that are looking for what they offer - they understand the importance of 'targeted traffic'.

Of course, targeted traffic and a website focused on a particular 'niche' go hand and hand. Think about your website. Does it really lend itself to a specific product or service, or is it so broad that it tends to confuse potential customers?

Here are a few tips to help you prepare your website for targeted traffic:

Design your website to promote one particular product or service as your main item.

Determine the type of people that will be interested in your product or service and adjust your website to be attractive to them.

Establish the items or services that are 'closely' related to what you're promoting on your website. If you think that they would be interesting to your visitors, offer those items on your website as well.

Keep a constant flow of free content, that your visitors will find useful, on your website and add new content and information often. Invite your visitors back to your site to see the new material you're constantly adding.

Keep in mind, a website that's focused on a particular 'niche' item or service lends itself to targeted traffic simply because there is something specific to target and the more targeted traffic your site receives, the more productive your site will be.

There are many conventional and many not so conventional ways to drive targeted traffic to your website but we'll explore them in other articles.

The purpose of this article is to point out the difference between website traffic and targeted traffic. More isn't always better and if you focus your marketing on 'targeted traffic' you'll quickly find that the hits your getting on your website aren't just empty numbers - they'll be potential customers and, more importantly, sales.

Traffic -- And lots of it! It is the dream of every netrepreneur. After all, without steady stream of visitors -- or should I say "potential customers" to your web site, how will you earn your e-fortune?

The first place most e-business start-ups go when they need a quick traffic fix is the search engines. And rightfully so! After all, a top ranking position in one of the major search engines is an effective way to increase the traffic to your web site without spending your hard-earned advertising dollars!

Statistics have repeatedly shown that anywhere from 20% to 80% of your visitors will find your web site via a search engine. However, you should also know that statistics show that most web surfers never search beyond the top 30 results they receive. With that in mind, it is clear that a top position a top position should be the goal of any savvy site owner.

But top spots are no longer achieved by crossing your fingers and blindly submitting your web site to 900+ search engines and directories using a free submission service. Competition for top spots is getting fierce, so it is important that you learn the "right" techniques if you want to ensure that your web site is well ranked... and it is very important that you do so while this great advertising medium is still FREE!

As I said before; for high traffic generation to your website, it is very important that your web site ranks in top spots in search engines. You may ask "What are the search engine looking for when they rank my web site?" Well, although each search engine uses different set of algorithms to rank web sites, but generally speaking, however, here are some of the main factors currently being considered by the search engines.

1. Link Popularity
Alta Vista, Excite, Lycos, and the web pages search promotion of Yahoo! use a ranking system that involves measuring and ranking the number of links that are directed towards a particular web site. This is an extremely powerful traffic generation tools because:

Reason # 1
Building a well thought-out linking strategy is a powerful way to attract large volumes of high targeted traffic! By putting your web site on every major web "intersection" where your target market meets, you will ensure that your web site receives a steady flow of qualified potential customers.

Reason # 2
Links are equivalent to recommendations! They established credibility even before the visitor reaches your web site, dramatically increasing the likelihood that they will buy.

Think about it... David arrives at his favorite web site and notices that they have posted a link to your web site. He knows and trusts his favorite web site and therefore assumes that, because they have a linked to you, your business must be credible too. He clicks through the link to your web site and is immediately open to offers you present him with. Why? Because your credibility was established before he even arrived at your homepage!

Reason # 3
Since many search engines now factor link popularity into their ranking decisions, your linking strategies are all that much more important! If you want to be ranked as high as possible in search engines, you now need a factor in your link popularity - and, as you already know, earnings a top spot in the major search engines is key to increasing your web site traffic.

Obviously, developing a linking strategy that generates a high volume of targeted traffic to your web site is not an overnight process. It will take you anywhere from two weeks to six months to secure quality links you need. However, I promise you that it is worth the effort! Once you have done the initial footwork, the links that are established will remain on these web sites for years to come. Your perseverance will pay big dividends in the form of a continuous flow of targeted traffic generation.

2. Your Domain Name
A domain name plays a vital role in traffic generation to any web site. Domain names rich in keywords will rank higher in search engines because search engines love URL's that are saturated with keywords! Brainstorm keywords and key phrases for your web site and then use them to create a catchy URL... or load the domain name with your best keywords to get ranked higher in the search engines.

3. Key Word Density
Keywords definitely refer to the number of times your keyword appears throughout your site. Your keyword density is a factor that is heavily weighted by search engines, so it's very important to make strategic use of your keywords.

So, these are the golden facts and tactics through which you can drive high traffic to your web site. I should also mention that you do not expect to enter a couple of your top keywords into the search engines and instantly start making money through your web site, that is very rare. But yes, you can really make high traffic through search engines without crossing the line into "keyword stuffing" and with a little time.

It is too easy for some people to decide that in order to learn how to make money with adsense, they should cut corners on some of the rules and common sense assumptions if they want to have adsense success. This is more likely to get them in trouble with Google administrators.

There is no doubt the thousands of good webmasters have adsense success because they have found a good way to learn how to make money with adsense. By following their lead, you can add your name to the list of successful entrepreneurs using the Adsense principles. However, there are some things associated with the Google program that you should avoid at all costs. These may be specific to the program, or they may be just common sense prohibitions. Take the time to know and understand these things that can destroy your revenue source before you are well started.

Getting the cart before the horse

Before attempting to place ads or make money with adsense, be certain that you understand the concepts and the reasoning behind the actions that you will take. Newcomers often get so excited about the prospects of a good work-at-home income that they will leap into the program and then wonder why the revenues are not as substantial as they are reputed to be. It is because the program is not being followed according to the best rules and practices as set out by Google. Obtaining a good tutorial that will walk you step by step through the process of identifying potential revenue sources and place the appropriate ads will mean more profit for you in the long run.

Assumptions

Don't make the assumption that just because something worked in another program you have tried that it will work equally well in your adsense success conquest. It may work quite well, or it may be a concept that is adaptable for Adsense, but the trick is to know the difference. You need to understand the big picture before setting your expectations and assumptions about the performance of Adsense. Another assumption to avoid is that you will make a certain amount of money if you follow the program. Even if you abide by all the good principles, it doesn't guarantee that you will be set for life financially.

Skating on thin ice

When you set out to learn how to make money with adsense, make certain that you don't push the limits that are defined by the Google administrators. You may be tempted to try something thinking that no one will notice, or that it's only a little bit questionable. In fact, you are risking your continued participation in the Adsense program if you step over the line. Google is willing to work with you and to respond to honest queries about whether a particular practice or item is acceptable under Adsense guidelines.

Blatant violations

To make money with adsense, you must apply for and be accepted as an Adsense publisher by Google administration. This means that you have agreed to abide by the rules and regulations of the Adsense program. Google--and reputable users of Adsense--recognize that maintaining the quality of the program helps advertising and helps with the acceptance of internet advertising as a legitimate and professional medium for marketing. You may be forgiven one trespass, but Google is also under no obligation to allow you to blatantly ignore the policies and procedures.

I don't know how many times I've been asked. "How do I get traffic to my website?"
To best discuss this topic I should break this down into categories

1. Title Tags
The title Should contain keywords and keyword phrases that is important to your site. Our recommended maximum number of characters for this tag is 60.

Also when counting your characters remember that spaces are considered as well.
Titles should appeal to the reader otherwise even a top position will lose a lot of clicks.
For example, "shoes, nike shoes, best shoes, review shoes," is unlikely to induce a click. What may induce a click would be like:
Shoes - Find out the latest styles on name brand shoes.

2. Description
The maximum number of characters I recommend for this Tag is 150. Any longer than this and it will only be cut off and may count against your site being listed high in the search engines. Try to repeat your keywords that you used in your title in a proper sentence and in 3rd party. Avoid I, Me, Myself etc

3. Keywords
keywords My recommended maximum number of characters for this tag is 250. Any more than that may be considered spamming. Keep your keywords focused upon what your site is about.
Don't think that if I use an assortment of different keywords that your site will be a seller. Targeted marketing is associated with your keywords.

4. Keyword Nesting
Description: A term used in searching to indicate the sequence in which operations are to be performed
Enclosing words in parentheses identifies a group or "nest." Groups can be within other groups.
The operations will be performed from the innermost nest to the outmost, and then from left to right.
keyword nesting is nesting your top 5 most important keywords in the html page that the public will see. I would recommend using the keywords that you've used in your title, description.

5. Head Tags not to be confused with (head) tags def.
HEAD or HEADER (of HTML document)
The top portion of the HTML source code behind Web pages, beginning with and ending with . It contains the Title, Description, Keywords fields and others that web page authors may use to describe the page. The title appears in the title bar of most browsers, but the other fields cannot be seen as part of the body of the page. To view the portion of web pages in your browser, click VIEW, Page Source. In Internet Explorer, click VIEW, Source. Some search engines will retrieve based on text in these fields.
Head Tags should be a repeat of your title tag. Most webmasters put their head tag right after the body tag. A head tag will look like this (h1) (/h1) with the ( and ) being replaced with < >

6. Anchor Links
Anchor Links is one of the most important html tags that your site needs to gain search engine page rank
especially in google and msn.

Many websites include a section or two with the "Ads by Google" above it or below it. These are ads displayed via Google's AdSense. When you do a search on Google and see ads in the search results pages, they are generally AdSense ads.

AdSense - The Yin:

Google's AdSense is programming that "senses" the content of a page or search. It finds keywords on a web page or in a search phrase to determine the subject of the content. It does this by either "reading" the page, or taking a look at the search term that was typed into Google Search. It can "Sense" which ads in the system are relevant to the content or search and display them - thus: "AdSense."

Before ads on a page are displayed, AdSense searches its database of advertisers and finds ads that are associated with keywords on the page or in the search. Now AdSense needs to decide which of the thousands of ads vying for position are actually displayed. To make this decision, AsSense looks at the advertiser's bids for the relevant keywords. The advertisers that have a combination of the highest bid, keyword relevance and best click through get displayed first.

Google tracks clicks on ads and advertisers pay Google the bid price for each click. When the AdSense ad is on someone's web page, Google pays the website owner a portion of the payment for each click. The term "monetizing" your site refers to taking your existing site and placing ads like AdSense on it to make money (or finding other way to make money with websites). If you get 10,000 visitors and 10% of them click an ad that pays you, theoretically, $0.75 per click, you just made $750! Not bad for just copying some AdSense code (which Google provides) into your popular website's HTML (if your site is not popular, learn about SEO - Search Engine Optimization - from sites like AcmeWebResources).

AdWords - The Yang:

The other side to AdSense is AdWords. AdSense ads have lists of relevant keywords associated with them. Each keyword is bid on by the advertisers for placement in the results pages and on web sites around the world. The words that will prompt a display of an advertiser's ad are bid on by the advertiser. When an ad matches the words on a page, the ads are displayed; thus: AdWords. AdWords is the system in Google that is used to place ads that display in AdSense.

You can enroll in AdWords to pay for AdSense ads to drive traffic to your site. The first step is to sign up with Google. The next step is to associate keywords to associate with your site.

The idea is to drive traffic to your site through the use of relevant ads. The more relevant the ad to your content, the more targeted your traffic will be. Compose your articles around your list of keywords. Next, write an ad based on the keywords and assign keywords to the ad. You will bid on the keywords at the time you associate keywords with the ad. If one of your keywords is searched for or relevant to a site, and you have a good bid and relevant ad, your AdWord ad will be displayed. Only when someone clicks your ad are you charged by Google.

The more popular keywords are wanted by many competitors, so the prices per click can get pretty high. It is not uncommon for a click to cost $5 or even $10. If you have 10,000 ad clicks, after you account for your conversion rate (the rate that you convert visitors into buyers) you better be sure you are making more than the ad click costs! But it should never break your bank because you can set the bid limits and the monthly budget.

What if you can't afford $5.00 per click? Since the more popular keywords are so expensive, it is best to bid on less popular keywords because the cost per click is lower. Google presently has a minimum bid of $0.05 per click. If you can get those, you can reduce your advertising budget.

A popular site can make a lot of money, however, a lot of money and time can be wasted. To avoid waste, you have to learn as much as possible and get the right tools to do the research.
