Man, I can tell by her photographs (flickr) that she likes to travel. I guess people who likes to travel also likes to take pictures... right? I would think so. The people, landscapes and buildings are way too beautiful to not want to take pictures. And you wouldn't want to just "take pictures" either right? You would want to NICE pictures, something presentable, like to put on a website or something. Anywho- I really like her pictures, they inspire me to save up some money and do some traveling in the near future. Thanks Abbi.

The Last Road North are photos taken by Ben Huff: his journey in Alaska. I just love the snow and the wilderness: my favorite places to be. I've been meaning to drive my butt (from California) to Alaska, but (right now) I don't trust my ride. As soon as I can afford a reliable SUV, I'm going to take a long road trip, and Alaska is on the list of places I want to visit.

That's very sweet. I think everyone should spend a good amount of time talking to an elderly (if you don't already have.) Anywho, her "People You Have Come To Fear The Most," and "Places You Have Come To Fear The Most" photographs makes a lot of sense to me. Here in California, I use to be afraid of policemen, downtown Los Angeles on Broadway where all the homeless and intoxicated are, and I use to be afraid to take the bus! Her photographs are reflections of my fears, and possibly everyone else.

Yoshihisa Kayioka shoots film, NO DIGITAL. He shoots with a Leica MP, I heard that camera is worth $25,000 street price. Man! one of these days I'm going to find an old Leica at a garage sale for 10 bucks... one day. Anywho, I love street photography especially if it's from an Asian country. Photos are taken in Tokyo Japan.

People like Polaroid now, why? I don't know it's just cool to have one. I use to have one in high school. I carried it around and took pictures of everybody. I also took it to the ghetto and shot pictures of gangster! It didn't went well. Once you decide to take pictures of thugs, one or two things is going happen (my experience.) You're going to get jump, shot, or get your Polaroid jack (jack is street term for= stolen/taken away from you.) In my case, I got my Polaroid JACKED!!

There books and books dedicated to nice photographs shot by a Polaroid camera. I figure I jump on the band wagon and post a few I like from photographer Hannah Kuo, some of her work is humorous, at least to me. Her USA Younguns is pretty funny: a bunch of pictures of young Americans on drugs, getting drunk, and showing their thong at rock concerts. *Sigh* Young Americans, it's all about drugs, sex, and rock! What ever happened to playing hide n' Go seek or Kick the Can? That's what I did when I was young... and chase girls. I use to hate my freckles. When I was young, like in the 5th grade, mean kids would call me names, so I went out and bought "freckle cream" remover. I think it worked because most of my freckles are gone now. I stopped using it when my mother caught me in the bathroom putting freckle cream remover on my face. She told me to keep them, "they're beautiful." I didn't believe her at the time because I thought it was "fly poop." Whatever... I don't know where I'm going with this story. I guess my point is I love the freckles on people's face, and the freckles I have on mine. The picture above is really nice; I like her freckles.

The first two were shot at The Getty Museum of Los Angeles, and the bottom one was shot in Culver City on Culver Blvd about a block away from Culver City Police Dept.

I have so much to say about these photographs because they're really nice. The first two give the feeling of loneliness, and the last... I don't know yet. I just like them.

Man, today was a good day. I have 5 days off with pay and decided to just "bum it" at home. But home is only sweet when I'm alone. I don't like being bothered when I'm home resting: my sisters always bother me! I can't rest here when they're awake.

Any(freakin)who, these pictures are nice. I like how the photographer likes to take pictures of someone's back: like they're looking into something. The back, like BACK OFF sisters!!! I want to chill in PEACE dang it!!!! Well whatever, I don't even feel like blogging right now: too mad and too lazy. Enjoy these photos, and check them out on flickr here.

I wish I can speak French. My father speak French like most Californians can speak Spanish. Wish he could have taught me to say a few things. He's lucky, when he was in his 20's a group of French Christians took him out to "kick it" and introduce him to God and stuff, so his second language was French, then came English. (even though he's a Buddhist, blah blah blah, the story goes on...)

Anywhoo... that was kind of off topic, but the reason why French was on my mind is because I'm introducing you guys a French photographer: Virginie Plauchut. She was kind enough to send me her portfolio. When I click on her link everything was in French, I freaked out! I said to myself, "what the heck, I can't read French?" But being a dummy that I am, I forgot to click on the "English" tab on the top right hand corner. Problem solved, I can read her work.

The top two are my favorite, I love the exposure, the subject, and the humor. And the bottom three is from her recent work: Eat Story. Eat Story is another humorous work, making food an enhancement in self-portraits. Her recent work is "fun, comical and feminine." I love it.

I really like Missy Prince photographs of the wilderness. I, myself, like the wilderness. I like to explore and kind of get lost in the wilderness. I honestly don't think I want to go out there and take photographs like these (even if I become a pro like her.) When I'm in the wilderness, I don't like bringing any electronics with me: cameras, cellphones, gps, etc. I just want to be naked with my knife!!

What I like about Mark Sadlier's photographs is that they're very simple: simple but very effective, and I'm not tying to say that his photographs are easy to capture because they're not. His subjects are very simple like these chairs, but they're very emotional; we can interpret them in any way we want. I really like that.

Happy Valentine Day EVERYONE!!! Love is in the air, and if no one loves you, the man above does. I'm in a good mood today. Wonderful Sunday morning, even though I am stuck at work when I could be with the love of my life, I am still happy.

Anywho Lou O'Bedlam, I've been stalking his photography for a couple of days now. I love his photographs. He picks and choose his subjects real well. They're full of smiles, love, and good looks. I chose two photos to represent how I feel today: love and smiles. His photography really makes me happy.
