This is guilt talking for not prioritizing.  For choosing sleep more than spending an extra hour to do an hour&#39;s worth of layout. So here it is, an hour&#39;s spent on the dusty craftdesk.  My kids deserve more than an hours work but I just wanted it done.

I love it.  I love it so much that I&#39;ve put to rest (for a little while) my big camera for this little fella.

It&#39;s raining, the sky&#39;s dark.  I hear thunder, and it scares me to think of those having to travel either by car or air in these kind of weather.  If you must travel this week-cause the weatherman did predict rain throughout the week- by all means, please exercise caution.

Something different for a change.

Ayam penyet - an Indonesian chicken recipe.



Here&#39;s my take. 



How to:

Make the chicken marinate:



2 tbsp Chinese 5 spices powder

1/2 tbsp turmeric powder

1 spoonful dark soy sauce

salt to season 

Rub to 2-3 pieces chicken thigh and leave for 1/2 to 1 hour.



Make the dipping sauce:



3 diced red tomatoes - make 2 portions 

1 big onion, sliced

So last year I tried to follow through with my one little word. Our family is spending the holiday cheers with my in-laws this year.  They&#39;re having their friends and colleagues over to our house as part of their open house merry making tradition.  As long as there&#39;s food going around whole day I&#39;m up for it.

Yikes! Christmas is really near.  List of to do things:



1. Set up fake pine Christmas tree - check

2. Festive decorations - box is out of the storeroom.

3. Shopping of gifts - uh oh!
