Blogging, what a beautiful word! Blog is a very nice platform for those who want to express their experience, their feelings with anyone. Knowledge is power. To implement our knowledge in various fields perfectly we should be experienced. Everything will reduce by sharing but Knowledge is only thing that never reduce by sharing. In stead of reducing it increases. Therefore, we must try to share our knowledge and experience. Blogging is one of the most beautiful and effective ways to share our knowledge and experience with everyone.

To create a blog we should know many related things. Otherwise our aim will not touch the ceiling. Although the Blogging Platform can do everything for us except writing our article, we have to have a little bit of technical knowledge and know how of Blogging.

My site is only for Beginners and I always try to share my experience using very easy term and process so that a beginner can easily take the tips for implementation.

Blog submission to different search engine is must. Major three search engines are Google, Yahoo and MSN/Live search. It is enough if you have submitted your Blog/s to those three search engine. I described the procedure of submission to Yahoo and Google search engine in my previous post. If you missed to read those posts, please read Submission to Google, Yahoo here. Now I am going to describe how you can easily submit your Blog to MSN / Live search engine.

It is very easy to submit your Blog/s to MSN/Live search. Please follow the following steps and implement them.

The system of submitting your Blog/s to MSN search is something different than submission to Google and Yahoo.

Steps # 1. Simply go to their site.

Steps # 2. If you have a Hotmail ID, you can sign in but it is not must. You can submit your Blog without signing in. If you don’t want to sign in or you have no Hot mail ID just skip the step.

Steps # 3. Type the characters from the picture in the provided box. See the screen shot below.

Steps # 4. Type your URL in the provided Box.(follow the screen shot below)

Steps # 5. Click on ‘Submit URL’ Tab. That is set. Instantly a page will open like below. If you want to submit your another Blog/s, just click on ‘Submit another URL’ Tab.

Congratulation! You have successfully submitted your Blog to MSN /Live search Engine.

I have described the whole system very easily as I have posted it for Beginners only.

As a Blogger you have to know the procedure of Submitting your Blog/s to Different Search Engine. My previous post was about the procedure of submitting your Blog/s to Yahoo Search Explorer. If you missed the post to read, please read here. Now I am going to show you how you can submit your Blog/s to Google for being indexed. It’s very easy task. Just follow and implement the following steps; That is set.

Steps # 1. As you have Blogger Blog, you have the Google A/C. Sign in Google Webmaster Tool here541 with your Google E-mail A/C. See the following screen shot.

Steps # 2. Now you are on the Dash Board of Google Web Master Tool. Put your Blog URL in Add site Box. Follow the screen shot and type your full URL like that.

Steps # 5. Scroll ‘Choose Verification Method’ Tab and select ‘add a meta tag’ method. Instantly you will get the code. Stay tuned on the page.

Steps # 10. Again go to the previous tab of your Browser and Copy the HTML code (Ctrl. +A then Ctrl. + C). Don’t sign out. You have to come here again.

Steps # 11. Now again come back to your HTML editing page and paste the copied HTML code just below the ‘head’. Now click ‘Save Template’ Button.

Steps # 12. Again go back to the previous Tab. And Click on ‘Verify’ Tab.

Instantly you will get a message saying you have successfully verified your Blog.

Such as different Directories, Forum, Search Engine etc. The percentage of incoming Traffic through Search Engine is higher than any other source. So we should consider this reality to popularize our Blog. The question is how we can get more Traffic from Search Engine. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is one of the proven and must way to get huge Traffic. There are many ways of getting Traffic through Search Engine. Search Engine indexing is must. It means the know how of Search Engine about your site. You can examine whether your site is indexed or not by Search Engine. Simply type your Blog url in different Search Engine’s search Box and find your Blog in their search result page. If you not get your Blog, it is not indexed. Then what to do? Don’t worry, submit you Blog to different Search Engine. I am going to show the process of submitting your Blog to Search Engine for being indexed. In this post I am showing the procedure of submitting your Blog to Yahoo search Engine step by step. Please follow the following steps.

Go to Yahoo site Explorer here.

Sign in to your yahoo A/C. You can find the ‘Sign in’ link on the top of the page like screenshot below. If you don’t have an Yahoo A/C, you can open A/C here and then ‘sign in’ to your A/C.

Type your url you want to submit in the Box provided on the page. Now click on ‘Add my site’ Button. Your site will be added instantly.

Now you have to Authenticate (Ownership verification). There are two ways to perform the work. You should take the second way that is ‘Adding a meta tag’. To do the work just click on ‘Authenticate’ button which you can find in the Status column.

To add a meta tag to your Blog template HTML, you should

Copy the HTML code from the box. Like below.

Now sign in to your Blogger A/C.
Click on ‘Lay out’ tab. ‘Add and Arrange page element’ page will appear.
Now click on ‘Edit HTML’ tab. Editing page will open.
Now find the ‘head’ tag and paste the earlier copied code just below the head tag. Click on ‘Save’ button to save the changes.
Now again go back to the Yahoo Authenticate page and click on ‘Ready to Authenticate’ tab. Instantly you will get a message saying ‘Your site is pending Authentication’.

Okay, Congratulation! You have successfully submitted your Blog to Yahoo site Explorer.

What is Favicon?

Fav indicates to Favorite. So Favicon is the short form of Favorite icon. It is a little icon that appears next to the web address. Just look at address bar of your Browser now, you can see nice animated Favicon of my Blog. It is a special ICO icon format and named Favicon. It also appears in your Browser’s Tab and Bookmark. You can convert your favorite photo to Favicon ico and add it to your Blog.

The reason of its use.

Newer version of Internet Explorer(7.0 and above) and almost all Browsers(Ex; Mozilla Firefox) display the favicon in the address bar. So now it is more important than before. It is kind of website branding issue, also will let the site looks more professional and personalized. In one word it is a nice identity of your Blog.

How to add Favicon to your site.

Adding a Favicon is not hard. I am going to show you how easily you can add a Favicon to your Blog! Just follow the steps and you will have done.

There are many Free Favicon Generate site in the net. One of the most useful sites is ICON J. I really like this site because they have free highly standard Favicon Gallery. They also have Favicon Generator.

Go to http://www.iconj.com.

If you want to convert your favorite photo to Favicon ico, just browse and upload your photo.

(GIF, PNG, JPG, BMP, ICO, TIFF, less then 1MB)

ICON J will instantly create your Favicon. Now you have your Favicon ready to use. You can download and save it to your hard disk for future use or can instantly add it to your Blog. A new page like below will appear.

Sign in to your Blog A/C
Now you are in the Dash Board area of your Blog. Click on Layout Tab.
Now click on Edit HTML Tab. Edit Template page will appear.
Find 'head' section in the HTML of the Template.
Now paste the copied code just below 'head'.
Click on Preview button to see the preview of your work.
If you are satisfied, click on ‘Save Template’ button.
Now click on ‘View Blog’. You can see your Favicon in the address bar.

Congratulation! You have successfully added the Favicon to your Blog.

If you don’t want to use your photo, you can use Favicon from the Free Favicon Gallery. Adding procedure is same as above.

Earning from AdSense is our aim. The placement of Ads in your Blog Template is very vital. It should be placed in that place where your visitor can easily see it. The place in between two of your recent post is a very nice place to place your Ad unit. Now I am going to show the way step by step by which you can easily place your Ad in that targeted place.

Sign in your Blog A/C.
‘Dashboard’ page will appear.
Click on ‘Layout’ Tab. Then click on ‘Page element’
‘Add and Arrange page element’ page will appear.
Click on ‘Edit’ button of the ‘Blog post’ Section.
‘Configure Blog Posts’ page will appear.
Check in the Box(Written Show Ads between posts).
Now ‘Configure Inline Ads’ section will appear in the same page.
Choose the Ad format and color of Ads.(Consider your Blog Template’s Back ground Color).
See the preview in the same page.
If you are satisfied with the Ad format and Color, just click on ‘Save’ Button.
Now you are again on ‘Add a Page element’ page. Click on ‘Preview’ button. Preview of your page will appear. If you find the Ads are in between your two current posts, close the Window.
Now click on ‘Save’ button to save your work.

Congratulation! You have done it successfully.

How to add widget to your blogger blog;

Adding a widget to the blog is very easy. To add it in sidebar of your blog Template, follow the instruction below:

Go to the site from where you wish to collect the widget.
Choose the widget, copy the html code, and paste it in any text editor.
Now sign in to your Blog A/c.
Now you are in ‘Dashboard’ of your Blog A/C.
Click on Layout tab.
Go to Page Element section.
Choose where you want to add your widget in the sidebar of your template.
Now click on ‘Add a Page Element’.
A page with a heading ‘choose a new page element’ will appear. Click on HTML/Java script.
Write the title of your widget so that you can locate it later for deletion or alteration in the Title box.
Now copy the HTML code from your text editor.
Paste it in the content Box.
Click on Save Button.
Now click on Preview Button in the ‘Add a page element Page’ then a new window will appear.
Check your widget in the new window. Is it working properly or not?
If your widget working perfectly, close the window and return to ‘add a page element’ Page.
Now click on the ‘Save’ Button.

Hi! Friends. Now you are about to start your first Blog. Before getting start you ought to know something more. Don’t be worry. If you want to make something special, you should consider every thing related to the matter. You are now prepared for creating your Basic Blog. In my last post I described about the content of a site. Yes, content is the heart of the blog. Now come to the point, where you want to create your Basic Blog. I mean which platform you want to choose. There are so many platforms, you can use their service. Question is that, are all platforms free of cost? No, Friend all platforms are not totally free of any cost. You have to decide first whether you are ready to pay for the platform or not. My advice is not to pay at the very beginning condition like yours. There are few platforms those don’t demand even a cent for using their platform. As Beginner you have to use such platform. Any ways I am going to describe about all the platforms so that you can choose yours easily.

You have simply two options of choosing the platform. They are:

1. Free Blog Hosting platform.

2. Paid Domain and Hosting.

As I advised you not to pay a minimum amount of your true hard cash, I want to describe about only those free Hosting Sites.

Do you agree with me? If so, then try joining a free hosting site for your first Blog. There are few free Sites for us like Blogspot, Wordpress, freeweb. I can make the list big but I don’t want to do so because besides those above mentioned free hosting sites, other free sites are not completely free to use their service. So I suggest you to use one of them of three sites. They are absolutely free to use. As a beginner you need those sites, which cannot claim even a cent for their service.

No need to create your pages manually every time. There are ways for you. You can use any CMS likeWordpress2, Joomla3, Drupal4 for creating and managing your WebPages.

Hi! Friends, I described the first seven days of blogging in my last post. Hope you all guys found something helpful to you. If you are a serious Blogger, you have to concentrate on every factor (Read my last post). Your success depends on your seriousness. Don’t take blogging as a game. Your post could be helpful to anyone of your reader. They want serious and useful content. If they find useful content in your blog, they will visit your site again and again. In fact they will be waiting for your next post. So you have to have the responsibilities to provide perfect information to your readers. Once they find something special and useful to them in your site, traffic will be like flood towards your site. Why you are a blogger? Just ask yourself this question. There are many reasons of Blogging. It varies Blogger to Blogger. But one thing is very common to every Blogger. Every Blogger wants more visitors in their Blog. At least 80% Blogger want to earn basic true cash through blogging Without visitors we cannot be able to fulfill our dream to be a successful Blogger. You have to think about your Blog in two ways. One is own satisfaction and another is your visitor’s satisfaction. Therefore, you should have the ability to understand your visitor’s choice as well as your own choice. Blogging is a very good way to take part in many community leaving anywhere in the world. You need visitors for your Blog and that’s why you should consider your Blog content. Your visitors will stop visiting your site when they don’t find anything special or helpful to them. However, you need some regular visitors. So you should post some rich content. Don’t try to make your reader fool. Don’t forget that your reader visit many other sites and they know what is original and what is not. So never try to copy from anywhere in the web and paste it in your blog. If you do it, your site doesn’t take much time to be vanished. You have to know the technique of creating a good content. I am now going to describe how you can make a good content for your readers. Just try to start with me.

1. Topics: Firstly choose a topic. Topic should be interesting and useful to your readers. By brainstorming you can find your topics. Don’t forget that your reader recommend your site to their friends only because your nice useful topics. So be careful to choose topics according to your blog’s view.

2. Research: Research on your topics very carefully. Try to write something that you personally believe. The thing you don’t believe, how you can expect your readers believing those. You have to have a plan to write down your topics understandable to your every reader. Writing style should be interesting as well as easy to understand.

3. Heading: The heading of your post is the key to your success. Heading should be proper and hundred present subjects related. Thus the search engine can easily find your post. As your reader read your heading first, your heading should be the mirror of your whole post. If the heading is catchy, search engine and your reader can easily asses your post. So be very careful to make a useful heading.

4. Organizing your post: Your post should be well organized with your heading, sub-heading etc. Start with a brief discussion of your subject topic and then go for point wise discussion. Thus you can easily draw your reader’s attention. Don’t make your post just in a short paragraph. If you want to make your post extra ordinary, you have no choice except making your post full of description of your related topics. Be organized in every aspect.

5. Using Image: Using image in your post is another good factors to make your Blog popular. Use image for proper reason. I am saying to use image not in improper manner. You know better that an image can say more than a vast paragraph. But the placement and timing should be perfect according to your subject matter of your topics. Use proper “alt” tags with the image giving the proper description what the image is about. This is equally important to search engines.

6. Links: If you want to give your readers more information about your topics, links to other sites is the best way to fulfill your desire. Don’t link those sites, which are not about your topics. So link is important but wrong linking is dangerous. Be careful at the time of choosing links to other sites.

7. Reference: If you want to make your reader confident on your information providing in the post, provide reference of your post (if any). Then your reader will be more confident of using your tips. So if your writing demand a reference, just give it. Your post will be more valuable than ever before.

8. Request for comment: How can you know the popularity of your post? Just request your readers to leave a comment on your topics. Some comments may be bad also. Don’t worry. Criticism is the friend for those who wants to make a good result.

9. Read your Draft: After finishing, read your draft more than two times from beginning to end so that you can find out the spelling and other mistakes. Don’t try to publish your post immediately.

10. Preview and Publish: Using the preview feature, preview your post first. If you find everything is in perfect position, now publish it for your readers.

I am right because you have the desire of creating a blog and that’s why you are here in my site. I know that you have the minimum know how of computing and internet. Perhaps you even know the basic of blogging. I am writing only for those beginners. So my post is basic Blogging tips and techniques for beginners. Don’t worry every one was once beginner. If you want to know the basic blogging tips, yes, you are in the right place. I guide you step by step for making your first blog. Before start you have to know some important thing related to making blog. Creating a blog is not a very hard task but you have to decide first why you want to create a blog? It is not a game. The first 7 days of blogging

Thousands of blogs are being created every day and many of them are making critical mistakes within the first week of starting. If you are thinking about starting a blog here are some things that you should consider about and do within the first 7 days of starting your blog.

First Day: Don't launch until the blog is properly setup:

Many people launch a blog that is not fully setup; the design may not be complete or the RSS feed may not work. Before you launch your blog make sure that your design is complete, RSS feed is working, you are setup to ping the blog search engines and your blog is optimized for the search engines. Day 1 is the most crucial day because without launching with all these things in line it can hurt the future success of your blog.

Second Day: Pick a topic and stick with it:

It is your blog so you can write on what topic(s) you want to write on, but whatever topic(s) you choose, you want to stick with them. If you blog about gadgets don't switch the concentration of your blog later on. Your readers are most likely interested in gadgets and if you start wondering off and start blogging about random things such as furniture they will lose interest and stop reading your blog.

Third Day: Be consistent:

The frequency you blog at is up to you. If you want to blog monthly that is fine. If you want to blog weekly or even daily, that is also fine. But whatever frequency you blog at make sure you stick to it. Don't blog daily and then skip a whole month; by blogging on a consistent basis your readers will know when to expect new blog posts and they will be there, ready to read them.

Fourth Day: Don't leave your readers stranded:

Within the first few days of blogging it is really important to interact with all of your readers. If someone emails you asking a question or suggesting something make sure you respond to them. If someone posts a comment on your blog make sure you respond back with a comment, an email or even both.

Fifth Day: Get to the point:

You can post a whole book and it might be the greatest thing you ever wrote, but that does not mean people will read it. If you write concise and detailed posts the chances are more people will read them versus really long drawn out posts.

Sixth Day: Spice it up:

Add some flare to your blog. Keep your readers on their toes by doing something unique, funny or even something out of the ordinary. Whatever unique thing you do, it can really help keep your readers coming back for more.

Seventh Day: Don't expect the world:

It is very unlikely for your blog to become popular within the first week. It can take months if not years to create a popular blog. Just because things might not have gone the way you wanted in the first week, don't give up. Keep on writing and your blog will grow in popularity.

Whatever type of blog you have started, whether it is a personal blog, company blog or even a blog you started to make extra income, don't forget to communicate with your readers and other bloggers and also have fun while you are doing it!
