Hi ....My name is Roda and as the author of MasterMind I'd like to share a bit about myself ...just so you as the reader of my book can make an informed decision as to whether this book is for you or not. I am a Zoroastrian by birth and a citizen of the world in my thinking, presently residing in the garden city of Bangalore with my husband and children. I feel a sense of responsiblity towards future generations and my book is a culmination of that desire.

In the opening lines of my site at ZOROASTRIANISM- FIRST RELIGION I claimed to be no scholar but that did not stop me wanting to learn little more about my religion .. enough to make me feel great for being gifted this religion to be born into. In hindsight … it was all meant to be just the way it happened ..for in order to mentor and guide all the people of the world .. I had to first learn it all myself.

We each and every one of us are in the place we are meant to be, that is our destiny but our fate is what we make of what we are gifted. Do we strive to be better than ourselves.. for everything in our life is about self and the journey of the self. I am born a zoroastrian but my search for my identity led me to study and research the Law of Attraction … and why should that be so ?

The answer is the link between the two. I kept making claims (even before I knew the answers) that I saw similarities between the two but I could not quite put my finger on it.(Its like I sent out a request to God and he complied with the answers every single time.) In my mind’s eye I always saw the similarities and then I was gently guided to all the sources of knowledge for which I thirsted which then led me to the Gathas (these are the conversations Zarathushtra had with God 4,000 years ago as Zoroastrianism is the first religion of our earth which taught that there is only 1 God)… and I saw many similarities in the words of Zarathushtra to the Law of Attraction but it was only recently that while I was going through my begood-forgoodnesssake site and casually rereading all the posts there to inspire myself …that I came across a meaning of the Ashem Vohu prayer (which is 21 words long) written there and then it hit me …

that I had found what I was searching for … the link to the Law of Attraction and the message in my book MasterMind and the Ashem Vohu prayer meaning. It was all one and the same.

This is why I was born a Zoroastrian for it could only be someone who had the knowledge of the both (the Law of Attraction and the Gathas) that could link the two. IT IS POWERFUL KNOWLEDGE AND BEYOND ALL ARGUMENT …. AS IS ALL ” TRUTH” . ‘TRUTH’ is the meaning of the word ‘ASHA‘ …. and it is the root word for Ashem. I GIVE BELOW THE MEANING OF THE ASHEM VOHU PRAYER THAT I HAVE BEEN PRIVY TO FOR A WHILE AND GIVE YOU ITS BLESSINGS. ITS SO SO SIMPLE AND YET SO BEAUTIFUL …

YOU HAVE TO BRING A CHILDLIKE EXPECTANCY IN YOUR LIFE TO HAVE IT WORK ITS MAGIC IN YOUR LIFE. IT WILL NEVER WORK FOR THE JADED AND THE DISBELIEVERS FOR BELIEF IS THE POTENT FEELING COURSING RIGHT THROUGH IT ….. OVERRIDING EVERYTHING ELSE. THIS IS THE CORE PRINCIPLE OF THE LAW OF ATTRACTION TOO.

THE BEAUTY OF INSPIRATIONS - THEY TOUCH YOUR HEART My dear friend Freny suffered a stroke in the month of February and though she has come out of her coma she is at present still lying at home in a vegetative state. I often think of her and pray for her and I am convinced she will recover fully. And why am I so convinced. Let me elaborate. Just this morning (14th December) I was as usual out on my patio with my husband having tea. He was reading his newspapers and I who have given up reading the papers only read the Time magazine as a concession to knowing what is going on in our world presently. The Time magazine is wont to cover subjects of interest to me and it did not disappoint when it covered in their Science section an article titled 'A FLICKER OF CONSCIOUSNESS'(28-11-2011) which is on the study of neuroscience and how ill-equipped are scientists and doctors in actually understanding how much the brain functions in normal leave alone vegetative states. The article is very telling for it clearly states .. and I shall quote them verbatim " Most people choose to see things more lyrically; consciousness is the ineffable ghost in the machine that distinguishes us from plants and bacteria and perhaps even other animals - the quality that makes us wondrously special. Maybe Freny needed the time to heal her mind properly. So today I asked God another question ...tell me will Freny be healed completely and He answered me through the birds that yes all will be well for her. That was answer enough for me for God's goodness knows no bounds where his children are concerned.

HOW I HANDLED THE PROBLEM WITH OUR WASHING MACHINE USING WHAT I LEARNT FROM MASTERMIND.

We use a Siemens fully imported top end model washing machine which is about 2 years old.... and because of the fact that it is only 2 years old should give us no problems..... but pack up it did just a few days back. We called the company technicians to fix the problem and on the first day itself after opening up the machine they told us that some parts needed replacing. My hubby agreed and two different men came the next day with the parts. After fiddling with the machine the entire morning they said that some other parts needed replacing which would cost us effectively half the original cost of the machine. My hubby was annoyed and he asked them to simply reassemble the machine and leave it as it was before ... as all we had had was a problem with the spin cycle.He wanted to think over what to do and whether it was worth putting in so much money for repairs or merely to go in for a new one. Over lunch that afternoon he told me about it and I asked him not to be negative about it. I told him that if he phoned the company and asked them to send some responsible technicians to do the job and then went along with the thinking that the job would be done...then it would be done. So he agreed to do so and the company did send some other technicians over the next day and they put back the machine just as it was earlier and we did not even need any change of parts whatsoever. However they did remove some soap residues and they asked us to switch to liquid detergents. The men who came were good people who took their work seriously and they solved our problem. We attracted them into our lives because we expected just such a result.

I returned back home from a trip to Goa on a friday a couple of weeks back when this incident occurred. I barely got back from the airport and my mom called me up to tell me that my aunt (my dad's sister) had had a fall in the bathroom. My aunt is now 94 years old and we were quite upset that she should hurt herself at this age. She had hurt her left shoulder and since she had had a bypass also a few years back surgery on her would be tricky. Nevertheless the surgery was scheduled for about 1.00 a day later. I had been praying for her not to have to undergo any pain or suffering and on the day of the operation I was as usual having my morning cuppa out on my patio staring at the marigold plant in front of my direct vision when I spotted a huge butterfly literally bending the branch with its weight. I could not quite see its wing design and as I wanted to observe it better I gently shook the branch and hoped it would settle on the ground so that I would take a picture of it on my phone. My husband told me to leave it alone but I wanted to take a picture to put on my blog so I went upto it anyway. It did not fly off when I went up close to it but as I shook the branch it fell and settled on the ground. That was such a defining moment for me for immediately I felt that my aunt had come to visit me through the butterfly. That is the thought that went through my mind and I felt a moment of amazement and awe at the thought. The butterfly had the colour of my aunt's skin tone a wheatish pink. I am putting the picture of the butterfly here so that you may see it for yourself. I took many many photos of the butterfly and it made no move to fly away though I was a hair's breadth from it and on studying it closely I could see that it was very old. Instantly my heart went out to it and I quickly said a prayer for the butterfly. You will not believe what happened next ... it is windy season here in Bangalore and a mildly strong breeze started to blow suddenly and I could see the wind trying to lift the butterfly's wing and flutter them gently much like a plane readying to take off and I asked God to look after the butterfly and with that thought I turned to put my phone down and you will not believe what happened next ... the butterfly disappeared... it did not fly off for I would be able to see it in flight. It was there one minute and not there the next and the best part of it was that a sudden relief washed over me and the thought that went through me was that my aunt would be alright after the operation. Can you believe that... if I hadn't experienced it myself I would have said it was a fanciful notion and a made up story and I still get goose bumps when I think about it and why it took me 2 weeks to pick up the courage to share the story. But the total peace it created in my mind was too real not to share to inspire others...that good and beautiful experiences like these do happen.

Growing up I learnt this beautiful poem

Could you open your mind to accepting all creatures great and small as your guide ....as the medium that you select to communicate with God ? Its fascinating when you read my experiences, one of which I shall recount below for your reading pleasure :

I work out of a spare bedroom on the ground floor of my home which is like my little office and I do work for long hours in that room.

As my home is large and all of us have our own bedrooms I may well be working with nobody in my immediate vicinity for hours together. There is this little mosquito who lives in my room - mostly he's all alone too or sometimes he may have a companion. But to cut a long story short he acts like a watchdog over my thoughts. I often talk to him telling him that I appreciate that he does not bite me and keeps me company. And mostly he keeps flying around me but you should see him in action when my thoughts turn negative. He'll dive for my face and pretend to take a swipe at me. Then I realize that even when I am busy at my work - stray and random negative thoughts can take over my thinking. Then I immediately apologize to God and repeat firmly ...devil get off my back and say an atha ahu vairyo which prevents that negative thought from having a bad effect on me. What is the single most essential ingredient to success, be it the accumulation of wealth, great health, etc ?

The answer may be summed up in these 2 words "driving force". The Universe does not grant success, at anything, to a person who does not persist....often in the face of great odds...to chase their goals. When you persist with faith and demand the success you want from the Universe, unwilling to take no for an answer and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed .....then and only then will you acquire the power essential for success. Power is organised effort and intelligently directed knowledge. Power is required not only for the accumulation of money but also its retention ! This power must be sufficient to enable an individual to convert the desire for it into its monetory equivalent. So how do you acquire power ??

As explained earlier power can be acquired by organised effort and intelligently directed knowledge.Let us go with knowledge first. There are 3 known major sources of knowledge. I shall explain :

1) Infinite Intelligence i.e. God.

All of us are in the habit of praying and some of us are in the habit of conversing with God. When you are in the habit of conversing with God, seeking his help in all that you do throughout the day i.e. treating him as a higher knowledge within you that will help you overcome every difficulty you may encounter ...you bless yourself with the power to create anything at will. You must be of strong mental make-up (if you aren't at present, do change your thinking to incorporate a strong will), able to take a few minor defeats in your stride....for whoever succeeded without tasting failure ? Those who tell you that they succeeded without any failures are lying.... or at best they never looked on the minor setbacks that they experienced along their journey to success as failures but more as stepping stones. In present times we refer to this as a learning curve.
2) Accumulated knowledge - meaning knowledge that already exists that has been recorded in books and easily available to you through a public library. Never underestimate the power of the written word to inspire and guide the destiny of any person so inclined to seek it.
It has the potential to change lives for the better every single time.....for it is desired and sought by the person himself.
3)Research and experiment - New facts are daily being gathered, organised and classified in practically all walks of life. It is to this source that one must turn when knowledge is not available through accumulated knowledge. This too often uses the power of Creative Mind or Infinite Intelligence.It has been stated that everything that man is capable of using or creating was first conceived and stored by Infinite Intelligence even before man or this world was created. A person so inclined then becomes the benefactor of God's largess.

Spirit is eternal and so is Matter .............. and that Matter is as perfect as is Spirit. Do you know that Spirit is but an ethereal aspect of Matter ............. and that matter is just a concentrated aspect of Spirit. Life is but an inspiration of Spirit which is manifested and related through Matter.

Have you understood the depth of the above words...in simple everyday english it means you have been created as a mini version of God....... as I explained above - Matter and Spirit are but one and the same. So if you have been created such..what sets you apart ? God is perfection and all that is expected of man is that he strive to reach that perfection. When that happens man has created his own mini kingdom of heaven on this earth and he may create as he sees his Master do.

If so you are shutting him out of your life. God is not apart from you instead God is a part of you !

When you learn and accept this ...you will find things going just the way you want them to. Just accept God as a part of you and watch magical things begin to happen.

If I tell you that God talks to me through birds....my eyelids, my legs....you'll say ...gosh I think she's lost it...she's gone nutty, bonkers and it amuses me no end. A comment of this nature in the past was enough to get me annoyed, miffed and downright rude. But I am calmer now and say ......ah well....what more can I do to help people ....I have tried and tried explaining to people that they too can get in touch with God...thousands and thousands of people around the world are doing so....and then I leave it to them to decide when they want to help themselves. To those whose minds I've opened through my book and my writing...a whole new world opens up. To those who do not believe ...I guess they are not intelligent enough for their own good. A bit too forthright am I ?? Ah well ...that's just the way I feel when people sit on the fence and don't allow me to help them.

I NEED TO THINK THE TRUTH - REGARDLESS OF APPEARANCES.

I have become a creator .....not a competitor ...for I have got what I want ...but in such a way that as I receive ....every other man/woman will have more than he has now.

This is the secret to manifestation. To be able to harness the natural and inherent power within you ...... to think whatever you want to think. Most people become reticent, they cower in their minds thinking they are not good enough for the bounties of this world. They do not accept the fact that they are indeed one manifestation of God and to call yourself one may not be wrong in the broad sense of the term. When you accept this TRUTH you will behave in a manner befitting that. This is what is meant by inheriting the kingdom of heaven.

It is easy to think according to appearance (this means what you see in your present circumstance) but to be able to think TRUTH (this means what you want) is difficult and laborious and requires more mental power than any other work you may be called upon to do. Sustained and consecutive thought is actually the hardest work in the world. Your mind tends to wander from one thought to another just as a butterfly flits from one flower to another - and if you have actually observed a butterfly - they barely sit on a flower and they are off again.

So it is with our thoughts. It is truly the hardest work in the world and this is probably the reason why many people are not able to manifest their desires ..... and it becomes doubly difficult when TRUTH (your desires, your wants) is contrary to appearance (your present circumstance).
Another piece of advice - it is not necessary to share your desires/wants with another for it is quite possible that that person is not as clued in as you may be and therefore end up confusing you and delay your manifestation.
Understand these TRUTHS given below (remember TRUTHS are by their very nature UNCHANGEABLE) which means that if you experience these in your life they will end up manifesting themselves and trust me .... you do not want to manifest them.... SO I SAY - HANDLE THESE THOUGHTS WITH CARE !!
LEARN HOW DISEASES ARE ACQUIRED
To look upon the appearance of disease (another expression - think) .... will produce the form of the disease in your own mind and ultimately in your body. BUT IF YOU CAN HOLD THE TRUTH IN YOUR MIND INSTEAD - WHICH IS THAT THERE IS NO DISEASE - IT IS ONLY AN APPEARANCE - AND YOUR ACTUAL REALITY IS YOUR OWN GOOD HEALTH - THEN YOU WILL HAVE TRIUMPHED OVER THAT BAD THOUGHT. And I can say this with the absolute conviction of someone who first victimised hereself with diabetes (read all about it at http://newauthoronamazon.wordpress.com) and is now free of it by believing in TRUTH.
To be able to think perfect health when surrounded by an appearance of disease, to be able to think great wealth in the midst of poverty, requires immense power but let me set your mind at rest here itself ... it is an achievable goal. Remember you have Eternal Spirit residing within you and you can always reach out to him when a doubt raises its ugly head.

I have evolved one surefire way to overcome them which I learnt while rewriting the actual words of Zarathushtra. Zarathushtra said that you can immediately mitigate the effects of a bad thought on you by simply addressing Satan/Devil by name and immediately say Satan get off my back and you will realise that indeed those bad thoughts will slowly disappear from your thinking and hence your life.

I was constantly hampered when on sharing this knowledge with others they would look on me with disbelief and in the beginning you will buckle down and end up creating a doubt (bad thought) in your own mind but on repeatedly reading on it the TRUTH begins to reinforce itself in your own mind and you will no longer be affected by the reactions of others. When this happens ....congratulate yourself - you truly are a Mastermind - you will begin to think like God does and just as God is never affected by what humans think, say and do - God is never judgemental - you will begin to behave in a like manner.
While writing this ... one fact of my innate nature comes to my mind. I was/am a very confident person, I always made my own decisions, I have never bothered or been affected by what others said or did. I was always the master of my own destiny and I have always been a happy person. Then somewhere along the line I became prey to heterosuggestions i.e. opinions expressed by others. But just being the person I am I was made to see where I went wrong and thankfully I am once again back on track and it feels wonderful just being my old self.
Some uniniated/self-effacing persons you know might call you boastful / a show-off, etc etc but sometimes it is necessary to take those remarks in your stride and continue to do the work that is a part of one's destiny. Remember if you really wish to help a lot of people you need to be able to talk / write about it so that you share the knowledge.
I was taught a very simple solution - whenever I was criticized - all I needed to do was say the following - May God forgive him/her their trespass and bless them for they don't know better. It is an infinitely empowering thought for when you do so you are in effect blessing yourself. Remember what you do comes back to you manifold.
I have a wonderfully wicked and sometimes caustic sense of humor which I will try to keep in check - but hey...that's just the way I am like it or lump it.
I end with the most valuable suggestion of all - invest in my MasterMind - keep reading a little everyday and watch your life take a turn for the better. Then bless yourself by sharing the knowledge with others. You will wake up to the wonderful realisation that you are much loved by God and he wants the best in life for you too.
