Gospel Country singing couple Jeff and Sheri Easter perform this classic hymn “The Sweet By-and-By” at the Tent Revival Gaither Homecoming concert at the Billy Graham Library in North Carolina. This Christian hymn was written by S. Fillmore Bennett and music by Joseph P. Webster. This hymn, immensely popular in the nineteenth century, became a Gospel standard and has appeared in hymnals ever since. Be blessed!

Jeff & Sheri Easter have won several awards through their career. Among them: 5 Dove Awards, 2 Grammy Award nominations and 2 International Country Gospel Music Association Awards. Jeff Easter and Sheri Williamson met in August 1984 during the Albert E. Brumley Sundown to Sunup Gospel Sing in Arkansas. At the time, Jeff was the bassist for the Singing Americans, while Sheri was performing with The Lewis Family. After being introduced, they married ten months later. After that, Jeff and Sheri traveled and performed as part of The Lewis Family, until they decided to pursue a career alone in 1988. About Alan Jackson

Alan Jackson was born in the small town of Newnan, Georgia, on October 17, 1958. He grew up singing gospel music, both in church and at home with his family, and as a teenager he performed locally as part of a country duo. He left school to work and married his high-school sweetheart, Denise, who worked as an airline stewardess. In 1989, Jackson became the first artist signed to Arista’s new country division. Jackson’s debut album, Here in the Real World, was issued in 1990 and became a platinum-selling hit on the strength of four Top Five hits: the title cut, “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow,” “Wanted,” and the first of many chart-toppers, “I’d Love You All Over Again.” He shot to full-fledged superstardom with the follow-up, 1991’s Don’t Rock the Jukebox, whose title track was an inescapable number one smash that year.
