The ML Gold Collection is our third official release of Mendis Coconut Brandy and second collection release.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The ML Gold Collection consists of our 5th and 6th bottles to be released of Mendis Coconut Brandy sealed in pure gold leaf, in addition to being the 5th and 6th production bottles of "Coconut Brandy" to be released in the United States, licensed by the federal government for sale as Coconut Brandy. Both bottles come signed, dated and numbered by myself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The winner of Luxe Hunt will receive the 5th bottle from the ML Gold Collection that will come in its own presentation case. For security purposes, the winner will be chauffeured to their destination of choice in New York City after receiving their prize.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To win the bottle, you need to find a sticker bearing the Luxe Hunt logo, that we have hidden somewhere in New York City.  To make this task easier for you we will be providing clues as to the whereabouts of the sticker via &lt;a href="http://www.twitter.com/luxehunt"&gt;twitter&lt;/a&gt;.  Given the traveling times in New York we will be spacing out the clues to approximately 20 minute increments, with each clue narrowing down the search area to the specific location. This also raises the question, is the current US three tier alcohol system of importer, wholesaler and retailer a system that is feasible to carry Mendis Coconut Brandy?  Quite simply put, NO it is not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Considering the uniqueness of Mendis Coconut Brandy as the worlds first and only brand approved by the US government to be sold as this new category of brandy, Coconut Brandy, in addition to the craftsmanship of the brand, it price positions Mendis in a market position that has never been thinkable or even doable in the past.  This position is, as the legendary luxologist Mark Russo defines it, “Super Luxury”.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Consequently, this positions Mendis Coconut Brandy in a market place all of its own, though due to Mendis Coconut Brandy uniqueness and scarcity the traditional US three tier system currently in place that is setup for mass produced products is not suitable for Mendis.  This means at The House of Mendis we have had to take a long hard look at the US distribution system over the past two years and develop our own sales channel business model that works along side the three tier system already in place.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This sales channel model we are developing does not involve existing distributors or retailers, but rather taking an in house approach to controlling delivery of the brand.  The approach involves brick and mortar and e-commerce to deliver Mendis at the retail level, this will be controlled by an associate company of Mendis, namely, Luxe Coterie, Inc. to deliver product under this unique retail sales channel business model we are developing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our recent wholesale partnership with Angels Share International was the first step in setting up this business model in mention.  The second part is being handled by Luxe Coterie and is concerned with delivering Mendis Coconut Brandy via its medium of brick and mortar and e-commerce.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mendis Coconut Brandy is a unique and different product, when dealing with such it takes a similar approach as the product itself to deliver it successfully and retain the image that embodies the brand.  I think we have developed a very unique and invigorating way to retail Mendis Coconut Brandy that soon we intend to unleash. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;An integral part to our retail sales channel model is higher volume priced product that we will soon announce our pricing for.  Whilst these bottles will still embody the luxury of Mendis, they will be higher volume bottles with lesser personal signature markings on them at a more affordable price point.  However, these bottles are part of our retail sales channel business model and will not be available until we have our retail model up and running.  Till then Angels Share International is our exclusive US wholesaler and a key ingredient to our retail model, just how important and why we set it up this way will become transparent in the near future.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chris S. Although the main event of the Luxe Hunt is locating the sticker to win the $100,000 Mendis gold sealed bottle, it is also about providing one lucky person the feeling of the luxe life and having something that is only afforded for a select few.  The person that locates and secures the sticker, ultimately winning the $100,000 bottle, will be escorted from the location where the sticker is found in a luxury car; to make the feeling of winning extra luxurious. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is one of our most bold and exciting events ever hosted by us. Luxe Hunt (www.luxehunt.com) will be launched by Luxe Coterie, Inc. in the coming days, last week I mentioned it would be up by today, though seeing as we are still finishing off the final details I thought it only fair to give you a sneak peek of an image from it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Next week is going to be another busy one, without directly saying what we are doing, lets just say its Sir Richard Branson's 59th birthday on July 19th and we have plans to make it that extra luxurious for Sir Richard.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Under Luxe Coterie, Inc. we have also selected a esteemed venue to show case part of the Mendis Luma Collection, nothing fixed yet in stone, but talks are open and ongoing.  Its one thing for a venue to have a $1000 vintage wine on its books, though to be part of our Luxe Program and show casing a $500,000 bottle brings a slightly different perspective to one's venue and clientele. With past events we have kept things exclusive, though that is about to change. I want to release something whereby it affects a city at large and everyone has a chance to take part in it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I got the ML Gold collection launch concept from a marketing campaign I have always had stuck in my head from the mid 1990’s, when Sir Richard Branson launched his Virgin (mobile) brand into the Australian market. I remember one day, back in '96 I think, at lunch time coming out of my the office where I worked in downtown Sydney and walking over to one of the main high end shopping drags, castlereigh st, at which point I ran into a mocked up tank running down the street with Sir Richard on top of it and several other Virgin brand ambassadors around the tank as it ran down the main shopping area.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Although we are not going to do something like this, but rather create our own unique campaign for the Mendis brand, I liked the impact it had and left. On July 18th we will be releasing details to the press about the presentation of one of our collections. This collection is appropriately termed the ML Gold Collection.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Both bottles in the ML Gold Collection will be offered separately, the 6th bottle is part of the presentation the other is being sold. Pricing schedule wise these bottles will be the last of our six figure collectible bottles, all subsequent collections/bottles will be sub $100K. We do have a firm pricing schedule in place, the only reason the Mendis Luma Collection was priced at $1M was due to it being sold only as a set, though broken down you would get to see Mendis scaling price schedule.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To provide a rough idea of our pricing schedule;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mendis Million Dollar Bottle&lt;/strong&gt; (First Production bottle, signed by Mr. Mendis) $1,000,000.00&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mendis second production bottle&lt;/strong&gt; (signed by Mr. Mendis) $750,000.00, owned by Janis Carter.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mendis Luma Collection&lt;/strong&gt; (third bottle, signed by Jean Luma) $500,000.00&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mendis Luma Collection&lt;/strong&gt; (Fourth Bottle, signed by Jean Luma) $350,000.00&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Based off our scaling pricing schedule you can now get a feel for where the ML Gold Collection will be priced at. With time these bottles will become highly collectible first release bottles of the first branded “Coconut Brandy” category of alcohol. “Coconut Brandy” is a new category of alcohol recently recognized by the US Treasury from our lobbying process that has created this legal precedence, TTB ID: 08283003000003. Mendis International, Inc. is the first company in the world to hold this new category classification with the TTB, not to be confused with “Coconut Flavored Brandy” (i.e. Brandy flavored with Coconut), as oppossed to Mendis that is an alcohol spirit actually made from coconut, big difference and two completely different products.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Granted, as we release more collections the price will subsequently drop. We are not about inflating the price of Mendis Coconut Brandy with gems plastered on the bottles, the value is the intrinsic value based off of the limited numbering and signatures markings on these first of their kind release bottles, along with the uniquess of the liquid itself, something that no alcohol company has ever done.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As we progress with these collections there is an ultimate price point we will stabilize at, but it will be a price point to maintain the integrity of the brand, not at a price point to drive mass sales. In a nut shell this collection is an auxiliary extension of the Mendis brand aligned with renowned gemologist Jean Luma to create unique one off pieces. The Million Dollar Bottle was very unique not to mention valuable, though now the bottle has come to the end of its road with finding a home on May 20th in Monaco; we have been looking towards innovative ways of creating renowned collections that will stand the test of time like the Million Dollar Bottle.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I mentioned last year that the Mendis Luma collection involves some of the best names in the world collaborating to create something that has never been done before and associated with some of the biggest and best names when it comes to venue and promoters. Just that is the case and all will be uncovered in Monaco and what we have coming after that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These collections are possible because Mendis is extremely unique from the worldwide legal precedence it set as the first of its kind, this positioning has opened the brand up to many opportunities and benefits that other following brands will not have. But just like all new things it takes time to develop awareness, though once that awareness comes the brand will reach a certain point of critical mass where it exponentially grows with mass market acceptance. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The greatest thing I contribute to the Mendis brand is our unique bottle numbering from the first production bottle, this have never been done before by any alcohol company. However, this business model works for Mendis due to the unique legal precedence Mendis holds, though would fail for most other alcohol brands. Most companies do the opposite of what we have done; create the brand with mass production, then try to create one off creations after they have mass product already saturated in the market. I understand this model works for a capitalistic market place, though in reality it fails in building a long term luxury brand. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, let me get back to what I wanted to discuss with you about the collections we have coming out and that you have been waiting to hear about. These collections are not just about the alcohol but about releasing a new element to Mendis Coconut Brandy, a new line extension associated with the Mendis name that will compliment it. The Mendis Luma Collection is a long term joint collaboration between other luxury companies to develop new product line outside the exclusive alcohol brand. This collection is the first of a couple of highly prestigious names we are working with in developing new lines of product under these collections.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am contemplating whether to release pictures of this collection prior to Monaco, though one thing we will do is start the promotion campaign just before Monaco. We had held off on it due to being busy preparing for this event, though now we have caught up on preparations we are focusing back on the promotion campaign.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For those lucky few attending the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix onboard the mega luxury yacht Lady Lola we have a very special treat in store for you as a world exclusive from Mendis. We will also be hosting a VVIP private tasting session on the yacht that I will personally be handling for you. The value of this bottle is hard to place, based upon the legal precedence it holds and it being signed and numbered as the first actual bottle.
