This is without a doubt my favourite collection of the Milan Fashion Week.
Sadly it is the last collection designed by Raf Simmons who already left Jil Sander, and will be replaced by the founder of the brand - Jil Sander.
Gorgeous soft, pastel colour palette with some navy and red ensembles along the way.
Everything perfectly tailored and constructed.
Bags and shoes, basically everything to die for!!

McCartney Vs Ford

TOM FORD has denied rumours that he offered Stella McCartney a job at Gucci. The designer reportedly approached her in 2001, after she had left Chloe to launch her own label.

"It was never a conversation about taking over at Gucci," he told the New York Times. "I think she might have interpreted that at a certain point." He states that he was aware of McCartney's understanding of the subject, but "just never corrected her".

McCartney still maintains the opposite - adding that Ford even asked her to take a tour of the Gucci offices. She turned down the offer as the label's use of furs and animal skins went against her design ethos.

"As if all those exotic skins and corduroy hamster fur were going to turn me on and make me change my entire ethic," she said.

"He's a lying, cheating... what?" she said in response to Ford's denials. "That's the weirdest thing. Why would he take me into an office and show me every dead animal? Oops!"

Gucci is all about sexiness, elegance and luxury in most sophisticated way.
Last Fall Season was all about hippish 1970's with the overisized floppy hats, colourful feathers and over-the-knee boots.
This time however, Frida Giannini created a very dark, very gothic collection.
The velvet material on the skirts and dresses, chic military jackets;gorgeous dark glamour, feather-made gowns just made to wear them on the red carpet, not to mention amazing bags and boots ( I would die for a one pair of the peep-toe suede ankle ones:)).

Another amazing Burberry show that Christopher Bailey provided us with.

The rain at the end of the show with the models walking down the catwalk with umbrellas was just incredible!

One of the strongest collections of London Fashion Week so far.

Love the fur and lace combination, the colour palette is just perfect for next season.

My favourite piece from the collection is the printed bustier dress with the spiked belt - so stunning.

The bags (which are pretty much iconic), and the wedge boots are just incredibly gorgeous.

The entire collecion was very British, wearable and chic all at the same time.

Lana Del Rey Mulberry Bag

MULBERRY has dedicated a new handbag toVogue cover girl Lana Del Rey, inspired by the singer's signature retro look - the first time the brand has done so since launching its best-selling Alexa satchel.
"'I love the design, it's a perfect mix between old school Hollywood and contemporary style," she said. "It's an honour that such a classic and prestigious brand would name a bag after me."

Mulberry creative director Emma Hill first met Del Rey last year and was enticed by her unique, melancholic voice. The singer performed at an LA party for the brand in December and today showed further support by attending its London Fashion Week show, alongside Michelle Williams and Elizabeth Olsen.

"Mulberry hasn't jumped on the trend bandwagon and it has a good mix of glamour," Del Rey told us of the show. "This collection is gorgeous."

The Del Rey handbag will be available from May.
