NRJ’s Dimix and Mini-B an Ultimate Clash of the Decks at Whisky Mist

Whisky Mist and Mars on Earth know what’s up! It’s obvious because they invited two awesome DJs, and notable names in Lebanon, to entertain club goers of Lebanon at the Re-Shuffled Saturday night event. For this fifth Edition, lots of things went down including, the ultimate clash of the decks, glamour and crucial music sensations with NRJ’s Dimix and Mini-B. Resident DJ Pierre warmed up the house until Mini-B took over to spin the best in commercial House. Dimix followed switching up the tone to his Hip-Hop and RnB flavor. Clubbers danced all night along with the sexy professional Whisky Mist dancers.

Pregnant Man Punched by Abusive Wife!

Thomas Beatie, a transgender man who is famously known for getting pregnant and giving birth to three kids, has filed for divorce in order to end his marriage to his wife of 9 years, Nancy. The documents state that Nancy has physically attacked Thomas on several occasions.

According to Thomas, he tried stopping his intoxicated wife from driving their 3 kids to daycare in February, after which she insulted him and pushed him. Thomas said he contacted 911 but that didn’t stop Nancy’s violence. “She hit me in the crotch,” he claimed.

In January, Thomas claimed that Nancy woke him up at 2 AM by punching him in the face for no reason at all. “This night, like every night, [Nancy] hovers over me, threatening me with physical and emotional abuse,” explained Thomas.

Nancy also filed court documents against Thomas, denying his accusations and claiming that Thomas is the one who’s been physically and emotionally abusing her.

Earlier this month after a court hearing, the judge issued a restraining order against Nancy, banning her from going anywhere near Thomas or the kids – but allowing her 3 supervised visits per week.

The next hearing is on May 7, during which the judge will make further rulings on child support, spousal support and custody.

Fady Ferraye and Johnny De Mol Set B018 Ablaze

Electronic music fans were in for it, during this last Hurly Burly event at B018. Although, I am pretty sure by now fans of Progressive House, Tech and more know what to expect when Fady Ferraye comes into town. Music fans gathered to catch Fady do this thing. This Hurly Burly event also welcomed DJ extraordinaire Johnny De Mol. Together they set B018 ablaze! The evening came complete with an upbeat atmosphere, great vibes and music that got your adrenaline pumpin’. It was just an all around great party at B018.

Bayern Munich Fans in Lebanon enjoy the defeat of Real Madrid

A breath taking match and neither the Spanish Real Madrid nor the German Bayern Munich could break the deadlock till penalties determined who will face Chelsea at the Allianz Arena in the final game on May 19th. Real Madrid had a great start with a 2-0 lead twice by Ronaldo, before Roben scored the penalty shot to make it 2-1. In the second half the Germans had a great display of soccer but could not manage to score leaving the aggregate 3-3 till the end of the match to head to penalty shoot out.

The penalty shoot out ended 3-1, after Ronaldo, Kaka, and Ramos failed to score as Lahm, and Kroos failed as well before Schweinsteiger managed to end the penalty shoot out and go back home for the finals.

Real Madrid fans in Lebanon had a taste of the same poison they gave to Barcelona fans a night before after they cheered for Chelsea against the Blaugrana team. The German side supporters and who else than Barcelona fans to support, celebrated the defeat of Real Madrid in the streets of Beirut. Honking cars, motorcycles and Bayern Munich Flags invaded the streets after a very tense game with fire works and cheers for the Bavarian side. A very sporty and intense night in Beirut!! What a game!!

Les Annèes Bonheur Artists Sing Their Encores at Metis

French music fans that may have missed the incredible Les Annèes Bonheur concert event at Biel were in luck! Huge names in French music including Michele Toor, Jean Jacques Lafon, Bernard Sauvat, Sébastien El Chato, Jean Francois Michael, Julie Pietri and La Compagnie Creole were present to enjoy a lovely dinner at Metis, after which they each performed a song. It was truly great to hear these encores live in such a comfortable and cozy setting. A full house of fans were able to get up close and personal with their favorite artists. Guests sang along, snapped photos and mingled with the Les Annèes Bonheur talents throughout a full wonderful evening at Metis.
