Le Gray, Beirut has been awarded Lebanon’s Leading Luxury Hotel by the World Travel Awards during a voting competition that started in February 2019 and ended with the announcement of the results on April 25, 2019.

It was in the presence of the hospitality and tourism leaders in all their segments that the World Travel Awards has organised a grandiose gala dinner at the Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi to announce the Middle East winners of the 26^th World Travel Awards, and in which Lebanon was in the limelight with Le Gray, Beirut grabbing the Lebanon’s Leading Luxury Hotel award; adding to the hotel’s record of accolades after the prestigious French Villegiature Award of the Best Hotel Pool in the Middle East in 2018 as well as being shortlisted among their best 5 hotels in the Middle East; and the two consecutive World Spa Awards for PureGray, the hotel’s spa, as Lebanon’s Best Hotel Spa in 2017 and 2018.

The Hublot Geneva Days 2019 Roadshow ended its journey in the Middle East with its last stop, Beirut, after having passed through Dubai, Bahrain and Kuwait. On February 27, David Tedeschi, Regional Director Hublot Latin America & Caribbean, Middle East & Africa, and Mher Atamian, Managing Director of Ets. H. Atamian, presented Hublot’s first set of new watches for the year and chatted with guests about the business in Lebanon.

The exceptional collection featuring innovative materials in different shapes and colors gathered great feedback from the press during a private breakfast at Le Gray, Downtown, where guests tried on the latest Big Bang and Classic Fusion models, and discovered the rare features that characterise the new watches. From vibrant red ceramic and all-new yellow sapphire, to the rarest precious stone, the brand’s “Art of Fusion” was personified by each and every piece.

This year’s stars of the collection are the new Classic Fusion Orlinski pieces: the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski Red Magic, released in a limited edition of 200 pieces, is vibrant with Hublot’s patented red ceramic, in the color of life and passion, evoking Richard Orlinski’s first Born Wild Crocodile sculpture.

The new Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski carves out a creation that is as sculptural as it is free. Its wide, three-dimensional slanted case in sapphire, King Gold or black ceramic unveils structured mechanics, displaying modernity in all of its facets.

With the energizing, luminous and brilliant Spirit of Big Bang Yellow Sapphire, the brand takes a new step in its colorimetric quest, marking a world first by inviting the radiance of the sun into its sapphire watches. Limited to 100 pieces, the watch takes you a little bit closer to the sun.

Hublot dares to be different again, by setting for the first time ever on a watch, a baguette-cut version of the world’s most unique precious stone, the Paraíba Tourmaline.
