This is my first and i decided to go with a matrix look. The quality was modified to fit the ntoskrnl.exe format so quality is reduced but i feel that the effect was still presented well. Photoshop CS3 , ResHacker , and Microsoft Paint were used in the making of the XP Boot Screen.

Bootscreen "Lucasfilm" (Starwars)

install: Put "kLucfil.exe" in "C:\Windows\system32\" and edit your Boot.ini (C:\boot.ini) that it looks like this (XP HOME):

Make a copy of your old "boot.ini" ("boot_old.ini")!!!

After 5 second there will be the new bootscreen. If your PC dont start, reboot and choose the old Bootscreen from the list (and edit your boot.ini).
