A British woman who was hiking with her husband in Barcelona has survived one of the longest cardiac arrests ever recorded.

34-year-old Audrey Schoeman was hiking in the Catalan Pyrenees, when she was struck with hypothermia following a drop in temperature due to a snowstorm. Her husband, Rohan, quickly called emergency services as she passed out. Schoeman was taken to Vall d'Hebron Hospital.

Rodger Prater, Youth Pastor at Abba’s House of Worship Center in Oklahoma, is being hailed a hero today after finding an abandoned one-month-old baby on the side of the road.

Prater was driving on a busy interstate with a van full of church youth group members after a fun-filled day at an amusement park when he made the startling discovery with his wife, Nancy.

Audrina Cardenas was born with one third of her heart outside of her body, and wasn't expected to live past the first three days of life. Doctors in Texas miraculously saved her life by creating custom protective plates to put outside her chest and then inserting her heart back inside her tiny body. Deputy Sheriff lost his life in a work-related traffic accident in 2014, leaving behind his 8-month-old daughter, Taliya.
