I jut want to apologize guys... Those who followed me on Facebook knows what happened. But anyhow, I'll shout it out over here too.

First of all, I have been busy the past few days since the New Year started. Had my cousin's wedding and I volunteered to take some wedding pics for her.

Secondly, I had an operation on my head after my cousin's wedding. So yea.. 11 Stitches on my head and I am just at home resting, bearing the pain and yea... I can't move much because I do not want to open the stitch wound.

Again I want to apologize for not updating regularly. It will be updated regularly when I am partially healed (after removing the stitch). So yea... Thanks to those who have been faithfully following and reading this blog. I really appreciate your support =]

Touch Down M'sia

I know I haven't post anything since I touch down Malaysia on the 6th December until today. =] So far it's been AWESOME. The weather, food, temperature, and people is just so "perfect". My skin is starting to recover from the dryness that I've been through in Australia. Been going out and stuff and it's great to meet new faces in Church and certain even greater to meet all of my beautiful friends (those who are still in KL, Subang, Sunway, Monash, Taylors, etc.).

I got one ~~friend~~ brother who actually bought a ticket to fly to West Malaysia to see me and hangout with me for a few days before flying back to Kuching. The reason is because we would not have much time to hang out when I get back to Kuching on the 26th Dec. His college reopens at the beginning of the month. So yea.. =]

I came to my own concord that life is how you live it and NOT how it makes you live it. Life without a true relationship is nothing than just a rusty chain.

Epic Fail Strawberry Picking Day - 26/11/2011

The title says it all. =D Last Saturday we planned to go to a strawberry farm here in Melb for a day trip to pluck some strawberries to eat. On that day itself... IT RAINED... some more... HEAVILY... But being so enthusiastic about it and believe that the rain is going to stop when we reach there... it still didn't stop raining. LOL... So what we did was we went all the way up to this Strawberry Farm, Sunny Ridge, at Mornington. We went there and sat down and ordered some stuff to eat. What do u expect of a strawberry farm cafe. Deserts with strawberries EVERYWHERE... Lolx. There weren't any real food for lunch. So yea... Take a look at the pics below. SERIOUSLY... the strawberries are HUGE!!

Hungry yet??? Bahahaha... It's SOO good. :) Some of us were like... We could have just bought strawberries of our own at Coles or Woolworths and buy chocolate and melt it and we still get to eat strawberries dipped in Choc. Lol. But yea.. Since we were here, might as well just take it! =D

We ended the day by going back down to Clayton Town and eat some korean food and went to this Arcade kind of place where there's bowling, arcade machines and LASER TAG!! It was my very first time playing laser tag and I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!! Jia Ming joined us a while later after some bowling for laser tag. Quite tiring though even it's ONLY 15 minutes game time. Cut the long story short... We got pawned by kids in laser tag... Lolx! But that wraps up the time we had for the day. Everyone enjoyed ourselves. =D

All of us prepared dinner and set up the place before the whole Breakup starts. Ann Ee bought one huge turkey and smoked sliced turkey.. It's just... awesome. LOL... Ofcoz the costs will be split amongst us. But yea... again I didn't take pictures of the food... HAIH! Me and food can never be together... Sure I will eat all first then think about taking pictures. =__=

Mei Ying 25th Birthday - 17/11/2011

Mei Ying's Birthday is actually on the 3rd December. (This Saturday) But she decided to celebrate it earlier because most of us have finished our exams and most of us are still here in Melbourne. So yea.. I didn't take much food pics because I was gobbling it all the way. SO yea Food > photo. =D We went to this Korean Restaurant named Guhng (picture below). Pretty expensive for the amount of food served. But it's all well. We had fun the whole night celebrating and laughing away with Mei Ying.

It was a pretty fun day. Straight after class (4pm), I went straight to Pening's (Pearly, Ern Ying, Ann Ee's) place so that I could have a nap over there. But turns out I didn't. There were quite a number of people there already and they were already discussing on shooting the video for the Combine Urban Life coming up the next two weeks. SO yea, recorded the video and we had Urban Life. After Urban Life we celebrated Ern Ying's 20th Birthday too! Her cake was Macaroons!!! Yumms!! Gladys baked those.

Crunch Time

Well, as you can see I've not been posting anything. Hehx. Even right now, I am in class quickly writing some things over here and I am off to do my work again. I'm now racing with my assignments and datelines. Soon ... final exams... I hadn't been sleeping properly these few days. I didn't even sleep last night. Now I've been up for more than 34 hours. hahaha. Feeling so drained. Got an assignment due at 6pm today, another on next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. Too many to list. Constant thing going on for another 4 weeks before I am done with my Diploma. ^^ Please keep me in prayer for strength. Hehex. That's all I can ask for.

A New Chapter of My Life Starts Today

I officially turn 20 years-of-age today. Wasn't prepared for this day to come. It's a whole new beginning and I am flipping to a new blank page to write a whole new chapter of my life. My "teen" years is over and now I am in the more "mature" years of life. Being 20... well ... yet to find out over these years so keep tuning in to this blog/website to see how it's going. As my blog banner says it all, I'll be living up to that.

I've been struggling hard for these past few weeks. Not because of me being 20 years old but in my spiritual life. Some of you may not have notice because I was trying to hide my feelings and my emotions in front of you all. Yes, when God is molding you to a better person or to be a better leader in life, it's gonna be tough and painful. You think accepting Jesus into your life and thinking that your life will bloom everyday? I'll tell you the truth. No it's not gonna be all blooming and happy. Why would I say that? The devil will be coming after you and try to "kill, steal and destroy" you (John 10:10). Not only you, but your Faith in believing in Jesus. You have to fight your way through all the challenges that is on the way. If you are facing that, then hey you are on the right path to a whole new level of success. I'm holding on tight all these while and not letting go or giving up and yes, I've been really accountable to my mentor (Jason Khong) and my leaders in Planetshakers.

At the end of the day it boils down to my own choice. They (leaders and mentor) are there to give us advice and support but it's still our choice whether or not we grow or don't grow in our . What a person said is true, no one can walk in two direction at the same time, you got to choose. Of course we need to seek God first in what we are going through before seeking men. So yea. God has been real to me all these while and I'm really blessed to have such privilege to know Him and I've made my choice. I've yet to give them (leaders) my answer :) God has spoken to me today during Urban Life and He has made it quite clear of me and my plans for my growth and relationship with Him. I can say I will take on the challenge that is ahead of me because God wouldn't put us in these situation when He knows we will overcome it.

I've enjoyed Urban Life today. As usual, we had praise and worship, offering, announcement and sharing of the word. At the end of UL (Urban Life), we were still discussing on the topic Mei Ying shared today. After it ended, lights were switched off and an appealing light came from the kitchen. Everyone then sang the Birthday song. Haha. It was my birthday today and I am officially 20 years old (no harm to repeat it again). So yea. *I kinda knew these will happen* hahaha. Anyway, as you can see the picture below, you might be wondering why they are three person instead of just me. Well, our birthdays are one day apart from each other. Mine's on the 12th Oct, Jason is on the 13th Oct and Jia Ming on the 14th Oct. So yea. We shared the cake together.

Finally after two years. From that long smooth scissors cut hair, I somehow thought what the heck just shave + cut it short with out side burns and back hair. Well... hopefully this crazily short hair style will suit me. =) I didn't wanna put gel but the lady that cut my hair did it. If you don't see any much diff then maybe is the way i take the pic. wahahhaa. It's tiring to carry that cam with that heavy lens up for more than 15 mins to get a good shot. Clashes while Meeting Aly and Ben Hean - 30/09/2011

When I went to Melbourne City yesterday, I came to a shock. The whole of Swanston Street and Collins Street were packed with Footy Supporters. They had Footy Finals today. Collingwood Magpies and Geelong Cats. So yesterday they had a parade and players from each team came, crossing the Melbourne Streets. People were cheering and screaming. My first ever experience such a huge crowd of supporters. I can't imagine the vibe of being in the stadium watching footy with triple the size of these crowds cheering. Mind blowing... I know!

Some even went up to the roof to want to get a clearer view of the players from Geelong Cats and Collingwood Magpies.

At the end, after all the squeezing and walking through supporters, I've manage to meet up with Aly and Ben Hean. Miss Ben soooo much. Finally I got to meet him up. He's here in Melb for holidays but he left today wahaha. He was here for a week but only got the time to meet him up just yesterday. I really wanna thank God that I've met such awesome friends in my life you know (including Alyssa Lim). This is one of my blessings that God has given me :) and I cherish it a lot.

Potluck + Ron's Birthday - Urban Life Night

Melbourne, 29th September 2011, Wednesday - YES, Yesterday we had Potluck, Urban Life, and it's Ronaldo's Birthday! To sum it all up. The night was awesome as always. ULU 13 has once again made it happen to the best of our abilities! I can't explain it all but the pictures can. 20 people attended tonight's Urban Life and all were fully fed and taken care of. It's our second Urban Life without Jon and it's going on strong. We are just one big family over here in Melbourne. Now I'll step back and let the picture talk. I'll explain along the way who cooked, brought and burnt the food. =)

After we ate and all, we had Urban Life. Went onto worship, announcement, offering and sharing of the word for the night. It was amazing that we get to learn quite a number of things during the night. Urban Life is not just about having fun all the time but is about growth in Christ. So yea.

So we had some lala time taking pictures and playing with the poor lamp at the side for lighting. You'll see it below.

Like I've said... It's a beautiful Sunday today!! Left house at 9.39am and arrived Parliament Station at 10.20am. I decided to walk from Parliament Station to Church today because I wanna enjoy the Sun. While walking to church, just taking some random pics. The above picture isn't Planetshakers City Church =D It's just another church around the area. So yea. The Sun was shining bright today. LOVE IT!

I've been walking along this path for quite some time now but I've realized that there's two bus stop. I am not sure whether there's two last time. But yea, straight down this path at the end is where Planetshakers is. While walking as well, took some pics for the fun of it. =)

When I came to church, I was completely shocked because something blinded me. Tell me... what color stands out the most. IT's THE RED! =D The girls have something planned long ago ady but I thought they weren't serious. But they got the balls! You get it hahaha... balls? LOL... Nevermind... But yea, it's was indeed eye catching but who cares. It's nice like I said to Ann Ee but she never trust me that's because I've complemented pretty harsh things on her so many times. hahaha... That's between me and her ... shhhhhh~! So yea.

We went around taking picture after church with urbies. I tell you something awesome about them. They are very photogenic. They are also not afraid of the camera. Every time a camera is pointed to them, they will quickly pose for you to take. In fact this Saturday we will be going out on an outing too! Was planning to have our very own Urban Life Photoshoot. Hehe. Well it's for my own portfolio and also for them lah. They always rush people to post up the pics after every photos were taken. haha. It's a good thing and I LIKE IT!

Today's weather was pretty interesting. Angry winds fighting with each other and it's pretty cold on a bright sunny day. While taking out the rubbish I was just wondering around my house looking left and right and just thinking + stoning for a while... Life ... Thought of just playing with my new lens snapping a few shots and stuff. I got a pretty clear pic of that flower and I was pretty impress that the Image Stabilizer works very well. The flower was swaying to and fro like a rockstar but I got a decent picture of it. :) By the way, Melbourne is experiencing Spring. So no more dead trees and that's one of the reason why you see that beauty blooming out its sexy-ness.

Sometimes I love holidays. Got loads of free time and yea... no worries of class work, assignments and tests. You guys have read my Facebook wall about my Risk Management test right? Hahaha. Yea, I thought that I was seriously not going to do well and just get a Pass but came out I got a Distinction. So yea, I was very relieved when I got it back. PTL again. ;)

Moving on, my sis is in Melbourne again! Super happy to see her a.g.a.i.n... lol.. yea, she slept over my place last night and today she went out to meet her friends. I became the chef. Sis came back for dinner and I cooked her Hainanese Chicken Rice. I learn how to cook that two weeks ago when I had Urban Life Core Meeting with the other Urban Life leaders in the city. So yea. Cooked and ate happily. You are suppose to use a whole chicken right?! But hehe... use drum stick also the same lah. Still chicken wad. As long as can eat then alright liao. Took some sexy pictures of tonight's dinner and my sis (last pic below.. the ugly one. BAhahahahaha)

Nothing But Just Thoughts

Well, indeed today is a brand new week. But have been through some hard thinking and praying. Lol. Why why?? Well, lets just say that the devil is playing with me. As what he always do, he will put me in shit making me believing me things that are not of God's and been feeling annoyed, pissed, angry, etc for the past few days. Talked to my mentorsss LOL... You might be wondering how many do I have?? hahaha. Well I personally have only one and that is Jason Khong who is and still will be guiding me and leading me through my shitty times of my life in Christ. When Jason smacks you in the head... It really hurts. The other like Jon Ngan is for things that I need to know of the things in Planetshakers related stuff, Urban Life and a little more I guess. The last person well... I need to work well with him personally. So far it's not really going too well (do not want to get into details because it's public) but let me put it this way. Everything gotta start somewhere somehow and at the end if there's positive results then that's really great and if not then there's certain things that have to be fixed and get right with. Well I can't just categorize everything like how I want it because that's just not way it is. But it seems to be like it. ^.^

Yesterday, during the afternoon I was just seeking the Lord, telling him my problems, just talking to him and prayed. He led me to this verse || Romans 12:9 - 21 || and I definitely went like,"God... seriously?" So yea... Got whacked by God too. LOL.

"⁹ Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. ¹⁰ Be devoted to one another in love. I was really thinking of "taking a break" from serving in the Core Team because was thinking of just being in the congregation like all the others and to just "rest" and "receive". But Jason said something that made me realize that my decisions were all wrong. He said like do I REALLY know what am I taking a break for and am I taking a break to RUN away from the situation instead of overcoming it. Jason also said to me like I have just got out of camp and I've told him that I am going to trust in God and my current actions isn't showing that I am trusting Him at all. Jason said to me why don't I just trust God for this (situation) to go through. (that's just part of it. Not going into more details). So yea. I practically didn't know how to answer Jason back because obviously I was speechless and I never even see those things coming until he spoke to me about it. So yea. Jason still said to me again to "Hang in there". I am trying Jason! =D

At the end of the day, I really thank God that you know, He's with me whenever I am down and whenever I'm going through shitty moments. He always speaks to us in many different and mysterious ways, is just that we have to be obedient enough to shut up and listen and to focus on what He tells us to do. At the end of the day you find peace and not just peace but rest as well.

New Lens - Canon 17-85mm IS USM f/4-5.6

Yup... Got my new lens as replacement of my Canon EF 50mm f//1.4 USM for a while. The original price of this pretty good lens is about $450. But no, I didn't pay that price. I got it off e-Bay for $280. I didn't pay for it too. My sis help me pay first so I have to pay her back pretty soon. Hehex. So yea nothing comes free in this world unless someone says they give it to you for free lolx. So far I'm liking it even if it's f/4-5.6. BTW this lens have only been used once by the previous owner. It's perfectly maintained and kept well for sell. So me paying that price is considered extremely cheap.

Today just thought of trying it out and stuff just for the fun of it. It came out with pretty good results. The wide-angle, bokeh and sharpness of it is pretty much great. So yeah, below are some pics that I've taken.

Jon Ngan Last Supper with ULU13 ='(

We had dinner at Universal at Lygon Street. The reason why Jon chose this place is because he wanted to have his last bite at Freddo (Ice-cream Shop). But it's close on Monday's lol... So yea. But we had loads of good stuff in this restaurant. Food are awesome as always. Well, maybe because it's Western or Italian. Hahaha. The pizza that you see at the top left is mine. It's a Marinara Pizza. De-li-cious!!

Well as you can see, the title says it all. This is the last time we are seeing our Urban Life Leader. =( He's going back to Malaysia for good. Well, he has landed safely yesterday and yea we all miss him already. We are going to carry his legacy he have left.

"Jon!! Don't worry about Urban Life! We will take care of it! It has already been taken care when you gave us the opportunity to run Urban Life ourselves for the past few weeks!"

After dinner that night we went back to Harris's house to hang out for the last time as well. While he was talking to Mei Ying(his girlfriend), we came up with something crazy. Do you guys know the song "Graduation" by Vitamin C. It certainly was an emotional night. We changed a bit of the lyrics and sang to Jon Ngan while Michael Gunawan played the guitar. While singing to Jon, some of us (even me) cried when we started singing the chorus, some of us tried to hold back their tears so hard but in the end let it out. So yea. This is the lyrics =)

PlanetUni Camp 2011 - 02/09/2011

DAY 1

I can't get to have my first Panorama Pic up but you can view it in my Facebook profile over here. =D Google didn't allow it I think because the pano is too long.

But anyway, HELLO!!! I am back from an awesome awesome camp, PlanetUni Camp! The camp was held at Philip Island but sadly we didn't get to play with the penguins. The reason was our camp site was pretty far away from the penguins hence, we didn't get to see or play with the penguins. We left on Friday evening around 6.30pm and arrived Philip Island at around 8pm. In total, there were about 7 buses each 57 seater. Do your calculation. You also have to add some people who drove all the way up to Philip Island, lets say around 10-15 cars? =D So about 450-500 people came for camp! (That's just my estimation)

We went to our rooms and dumped our stuff there and went straight to the hall (Picture above). Everyone were super hungry but that didn't stop them from Praising God. The first session started at 8.30pm and guess who were our speaker for PlanetUni Camp. It's Pastor Kenneth and Pastor Sandra Chin!!!! My awesome Pastors from Acts Church! Not only that, Pastor Dave and Pastor Andy came too! Super excited to see them. I actually entered the hall first before the doors open (Not supposed to. I didn't know that I shouldn't be in there) and I was looking left, right and centre for Pastor Dave and Pastor Andy. Suddenly when I turned around, both jokers were scouting me from behind and we had like a "Family Hug" kinda thing. We created quite a bit of commotion over there and the people that were serving/preparing for the session looked at us. But who cares. =D After saying my "hello" to Pastor Dave and Pastor Andy, Pastor Matt came in the hall and ask them to go up to a room for a while so I followed them out but didn't join them. When I went out, there were lots of people waiting and I was like..... owh... I am not suppose to be in there. lol...

The first night was a great start. Pastor Kenneth preached on the Shield of Faith - Ephesians 6:10 (read it up guys) =D

After session 1 ended, we were grouped into teams. There were Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black, Brown, Pink, and Purple. My Urban Life was in Team Blue. We were given a huge piece of cloth and our task was to design a team flag and create a Team Cheer. There were two more Urban Life Groups that were in Team Blue as well. We all got to know each other and all and yea we separated ourselves into two. One do design, the other do the cheer. We had to leave the hall around 11pm because everyone has packed down and wanted to close the hall. So we went to a smaller hall just opposite the main hall. Our Urban Life Group, ULU13 detoured because we had something really important to do. That was to give Jon Ngan, our Urban Life leader (Pic above) his awesome gift (iPad 2) and his scrapbook we made. Why so special??!!! Well, Jon will be going back to Malaysia for good serving as a Pastor in a church in KL. So yea... We just wanna bless him because he has done great things to us. Well, Jon Ngan was speechless for more than 30 mins because he didnt expect to get a free iPad 2! He decided to get the iPad 2 back in Malaysia but now he has to strike that out. =D We took a video of his expression and all. (Mike, a guy, got the video).

What's that we are posing? That's a letter that Jon Ngan has written to all of us. Jon told me that some of it he has just finished writing that night. lol... But we all got it. =D Thank you Jon!

DAY 2

This was our breakfast. Very very healthy. =D Got toast, 4 different types of cereal and one disgusting food which I hate ... OATS... Bluek!~ I tot it was porridge in the beginning so I took a bowl of that goo-ey oats. When I took a mouth of that... I nearly puked... Ugghh... taste so bad. =D

After our breaky, we went for the second session. The picture above is Pastor Kenneth Chin =D He's an awesome man of God. =D Preaching his heart out to us. You should really really hear him share God's word. You'll be blown away.

After session 2 ended, there was a short break and in between that break, we had a game. A short short game. A representative of each team will go up and play that game. Well... it's pretty disgusting. I'll explain the game. Basically, take out one side of your socks and you'll be given a soda. Place one side of your socks on the soda and finish it. Those who finish it first wins.

Me... Looked like a Mexican. Candice fixed my face. Before it looked terrible because of PJ... He gave me a beard at first so I ask candice to fix it. She fixed it well but I regretted not keeping the face-paint that she did. You'll see what happens in the end.

After Game

After the games we saw Pastor Kenneth, Pastor Dave and Pastor Andy chilling outside the Cafeteria enjoying the cool weather. =) So went and took pictures with them. Look at the guy behind Pastor Andy (Yellow shirt dude). He tried to dodge away from because I was taking a group pic but he failed.

Funny Fact - Pastor Andy is "short". =D Sorry Pastor! =D I know you'll forgive me hahahaha! Also, see my face... I destroyed it and I look horrible. Hence I regretted fixing it the third time.

Introduced part of my Urban Life to my awesome Pastors and we all talked, joked, laugh, and took some pictures.

The night session was a blast. It was the Holy Spirit night. It's where we all come to the Lord and be touched by the Holy Spirit. That night itself, I've received lots of things from the Holy Spirit. First was confirmation of certain things that I should do, second was the things that the Holy Spirit has convicted my heart to do. It was really powerful because Leaders and Camp Committee prayed over the lives of each camper. Seeing people being slain and touched by God. Those who couldn't speak in tongues, spoke!

Day 3

Well Day 3 is the last day of our camp. As usual... People will be crazy taking group photos and all. So yea.. check it out. Pictures here will be X-large =D Just for the group sake. =D

CAMP CAMP CAMP!

PlanetUni Camp is coming soon! Well... it's this FRIDAY (2nd September 2011)!!! I really can't wait for it! Uber excited! Revenant Pastor Kenneth & Pastor Sandra Chin from my very own favourite church, Acts Church, is coming over to this camp as a Guest Speaker for the camp! They are the very first Asians to speak in Planetshakers and PlanetUni Camp! Not only that, two more Pastors are coming along too! First, my awesome Acts Campus Pastor, Pastor Dave and Acts Teens Pastor, Pastor Andy! It certainly is awesome as they are all coming here. hahaha.

I apologize for all the "exclamation marks". Am prepared for camp. Believing for something BIG that's gonna happen. Also, this is gonna be huge because camp is going to have about 500-700 University Students. More people to meet and greet. WOW!!!! Hyped up now as you can see hahahaha!

Stepping Into the 20's - Ann Ee Ching - 12/08/2011

It is this lady's bday! =)

Went to Little Lamb to celebrate Ann Ee's Bday. About 23 crazy people attended. Ann Ee's kinda feel devastated because she is now in the 20's and no more a teen. Lolx. Someone cracked a joke saying,"Hey! You are still in your teen years. Now you are 'twen-teen' instead of 'twen-ty'. LOL." Just FYI, Little Lamb is a steamboat restaurant. Had load and loads of fun la. So ya. Ann Ee's cake is ridiculously epic (a cup-cake) but who cares bout how the cake look like right? The people and their love is what matters true? =D

We ate until we die if you know what I mean. I didn't take pictures of how much food we ordered. But for my table (joined) we have two trolleys with 3 layers. We ate double of that. So "Four" trolleys full of meat, vegetables, etc. Hahaha.

Well the group is huge so I have to take a pano shot so that everyone will be in. So yea... this is the result of it. =) What's the difference with the two pics I hear? Well... find the missing person in both pictures. BTW it is not photoshop-ed (well.. making the pano picture is photoshop la but the missing people aren't photoshopped into it). We did took two distinct pictures. LOL.
