<p><strong>PALAZZO</strong>, Giuseppe passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the age of 82 years.  Lovingly remembered by his family: wife Beatrice; daughter Lucia; granddaughter Melissa: brothers Raffaele (Giuseppina) from Italy, Luiggi (Dolores), Nick (Rosina) from Toronto, Tony (Lucia); sister Adelina (Domenico) from Montreal; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  The family would like to thank the staff at Burnaby General Hospital for their loving care of Giuseppe.  Prayers will be offered Monday, March 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. from St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 3860 Triumph St. Burnaby where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow at the Abbey Mausoleum at Ocean View, Burnaby.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Parkinson’s Society of BC would be appreciated.</p>

Born September 10, 1910 and passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Langara March 4, 2010 surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her husband Michele, several children including a cherished daughter Vanda and is survived by sister Maria Tinaburri of Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy. Rosa will be missed by her children, Isolina (Pietro), Rina (Giovanni), Ada (Lorenzo), Fernando (Sheila), Dino (Sharon) and Maria (Jack); grandchildren Linda (Russell), Anita (Dennis), Cristoforo (Domenica), Lori (Royce), Michelangelo (Lorena), Randy (Sandra) and Marina and many nieces and nephews. Rosa will be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren Laura, Michelle, Ashley, Nicholas, Ryan and Ross. Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Entombment, Ocean View Burial Park. <p>HAMILTON, Ronald W., C.A.<br />
Born in Vancouver on November 8, 1923.  Passed away in Burnaby B.C. on March  2, 2010 at the age of 86 after a brief battle with cancer.  Ron is survived by his wife of 56 years Helen, his sons Ross (Cathy) and Glenn (Elizabeth) and his daughter Kathy (Sharlene).  He is fondly remembered by his six grandchildren Jillian, Meredith, Laura, Iain, Eric and Karly.  Ron is also survived by his sisters Jean Gourlay of Burnaby B.C. and Irene (Bill) Sherren of Oakville ON, his brother-in-law Bob Gourlay, his cousin Lenore Fenton and many wonderful nieces and nephews.  Ron was an air force veteran from WWII who graduated from UBC in 1949 and obtained his CA in 1952 (gold medal in Alberta).  Ron and Helen lived in Calgary, AB, Denver, CO and Ottawa, ON, where Ron enjoyed a career with the Government of Canada.  They retired to Burnaby in 1990.  Ron was a very active volunteer in retirement involved with the Royal Canadian Legion and the New Chelsea Society, which provides affordable housing for veterans and seniors in Vancouver and Burnaby.  The family provides a special thanks to Ron and Helen’s Vancouver relatives and friends who have provided wonderful support during these past few months and especially to Pat Tipper, Jean, Rhiza, Genny and Ron’s palliative care nurses Dale Wakefield and Caroline Wilkes.  The funeral will be held at the Bell &#038; Burnaby Funeral Chapel (4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby) on Saturday March 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.  Flowers gratefully declined.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to “RCL 148 Poppy Fund”, c/o Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 148, 4356 Hastings Street, Burnaby, B.C., V5C 2J9 or to New Chelsea Society, #101-3640 Victoria Drive, Vancouver, B.C., V5N 5P1</p>

<p>Quercetti, Francesca Maria, was born in Vancouver, B.C.on September 25,1929.  Passing away on February 19, 2010. Francesca was predeceased by her parents Guido and Silvia, her brother Italo and her nephew, Kenneth Quercetti.  Fondly known as Cesca she loved to travel.  Visiting Italy many times to share life with her relatives. Belonging to the Lega Femminile Italiana of the Confratellanza Italio-Canadese she enjoyed organizing various Club functions.  An avid Canucks fan and her love for the Olympics especially Speed and Figure Skating and Men&#8217;s and Women&#8217;s Ice Hockey kept her busy in her last days.  She will be sadly missed by her brother Bruno (Sandra) her sister-in-law Fannie, niece Debra, nephew Ricci and her many friends.  Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church  555 Slocan Street Vancouver B.C.  No flowers please.  Donations to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.

<p>Passed away suddenly on February 18, 2010 at the young age of 83.  Predeceased by his wife Maria. Survived by his children: Antonietta (Tony), Romeo (Maria), Carmine (Linda), Peter (Julie); grandchildren: Lina (Rob), Gianfranco, Pina, Brian (Kelly), Jason (Melissa) Jeremy (Janah), Joey (Sarah), Michael (Sarah), Felicia, Amanda, Jordan; great grandchildren: Natasha, Hailey, Michael, Vincenzo, Domenic, Sienna, Luca, Mikaela and Matteo; brothers Giovanni (Giuseppina), Pasquale in Holland, and sister-in-law Filomena in Switzerland and many nieces and nephews.  Prayers will be offered Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. from St. Helen’s Catholic Church  3860 Triumph St. Burnaby, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow at the Ocean View Abbey Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Joe’s memory would be appreciated.

<p>Vittoria Petronio suddenly passed away at Mt. St. Joseph hospital, on February 13, 2010, following years of illness.   She is survived by her husband Bruno, son Armando (Donna), grandchildren Christian, Vickie (Damien),  great grandchild Amelia, and many relatives in Italy. She will be remembered for her cooking, gardening and homemaking abilities, and her generosity in being a long standing volunteer at Italian Centre.  The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the  staff @ Villa Carital, where she resided for the last decade, particularly nurse Anna, the ECT staff at Mt. St. Joseph hospital with special recognition to nurse Elena.  Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 19, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to Providence Health Tapestry Foundation for Health Care in memory of Vittoria will gratefully be appreciated.</p>
<p>                        You are now in peace.  Ricordata per sempre.
