This season’s hottest pastel color can be found in clothing, shoes, accessories, and of course lingerie. We have been seeing a lot of the color mint around and it has been picked as the #1 color trend for weddings in 2013. We agree, since this color is perfect for Spring and refreshly delicious to the eyes and mind. The color mint is the color of nature, symbolizing growth, freshness and fertility, so we're taking it to the boudoir as well in some lovely lingerie pieces to keep everything fresh, calm, and bright!

The Great Gatsby Lingerie

Today is the movie premiere of the remake of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo Dicaprio and Carey Mulligan (love both!) and we can't wait to watch it in 3D! La Lilouche 'Rosy Days' New Collection - SS13

The newest La Lilouche collection 'Rosy Days' is here this week which I'm extra excited about. La Lilouche collections are always frilly, fun, colorful and gorgeously feminine. This season also contains a lot of variety as well as an extensive bridal collection, which means there really is something for everyone!

The ROSIE collection consists of incredibly flattering pieces in black silks and satins. Each piece is finished with a hand dyed silk rose to add lots of romance. This collection includes a balcony bra, knicker,ouvert high brief, a maxi gown, and a boudoir cape! If you're someone who is addicted to black lingerie, this is a great way to add a flirty flavor to it for spring. While it's hard to pick a favorite from this group, the boudoir cape would be a dramatic addition to anyone's lingerie drawer.

The JAYMIE collection features a vintage inspired mint green color. The mint green JAYMIE Babydoll is a great basic piece in a fun color and the Peek-A-Boo Knicker shows a little skin without exposing everything. These two pieces would also make a great sleepwear set once summer hits in full force.

The LANA collection is a decadent ode to shockingly bright coral colors! The LANA Ruffle Camisole is a nod to the styles of the 1920's with it's dramatic eight yards of silk chiffon ruffles and fabulous drape. Sonata Lingerie: The Stardust Collection

The newest collection from Sonata Lingerie has landed at Bella Bella Boutique! Sonata Lingerie makes classic lace pieces that feature innovative and modern color combinations. Their collections have been wildly popular here and have taken the lingerie world by storm.

The Nouvelle Eve collection features all of the Sonata classic pieces: a padded bra, a ribbon knicker, and a tie knicker. I'm a huge fan of navy blue, so I love the simple navy blue and gold silk satin combination that this collection uses. While panties are a Sonata speciality, the Nouvelle Eve Ribbon Knicker is extra special. Unlike some of their past ribbon knicker offerings, this one is fully ribbons on the back giving it a sexy cutout look with a giant gorgeous bow.

Sonata Lingerie's second speciality is bodysuits, so it comes as no surprise that this Stardust Bodysuit is a showstopper. The purple sequined fabric is fabulous, but the best details are saved for the back. The back features corset style silk laces over a deep v-style cut. It's a nice and unexpected way to show some skin.

The Mirage Collection is a beautiful homage to spring with the focus on light pink lace. The Mirage Pink DiamondKnicker and Mirage Soft-Cup Bra make a beautiful lacy boudoir set. The Mirage Gown Robe is made out of light pink floral patterned lace and silk satin trimmings for comfort, but the giant silk satin sash gives it some seriously elegant drama as well. The Mirage Ribbon Bodysuit has a gorgeous pink bow on the back but maintains the shape of the other famous Sonata bodysuits. These work perfectly as outerwear and pair well with pencil skirts.

The Paradis Collection is the louder version of the Mirage Collection, although it still maintains that recognizable Sonata look. This collection offers both the Paradis Padded Bra and the ParadisSoft Cup Bra to suit your lingerie preferences. Three types of knickers are available to match: The Paradis G-String and the Paradis Diamond Knicker. Introducing: With Love Lingerie

I have a serious addiction to vintage inspired lingerie, so I was thrilled to see yet another gorgeous vintage inspired brand being carried by Bella Bella Boutique! With Love Lingerie is a relatively new Canadian brand that combines the retro look with modern materials and fit.

The Greta Gown channels old Hollywood perfectly while adding a modern twist - the gown is completely sheer! I love the plunge neckline that can be adjusted with the hook and eye set. This gown drapes beautifully and will definitely help you re-enact your favorite seduction scenes from classic movies. The Greta Gown is available in both black and white. While I love the classic black, the white gown would be perfect with some retro lingerie under it as a vintage inspired bridal set.

The Beatrice Babydoll is based on the flapper dress silhouette and has some amazing details on it. The satin collar is full of flowers that feature mother of pearl beads. The baby doll comes with a belt if you want to give yourself more waist definition or use it as part of a more modern look. The Beatrice Babydoll comes in both black and white as well.

The Greta Kimono Robe comes in both black and white. The black features pink satin trim and voluminous sleeves that drape perfectly. My favorite section is the back, which is full of sheer lace cutouts and subtle Swarovski crystal details. Sometimes lingerie with sparkly details can feel like a lot of look (as Tim Gunn would say) but this robe has a quiet subtly about it that is really gorgeous and unusual.
