During high school I spent a lot of time with my friend's family, practically living with them for a time of my life, so when I decided to giveaway a newborn session, I KNEW I wanted to give it to this high school friend. My own little way of saying thank you, & giving back.

If you're a photographer reading this then you already know just how difficult newborn sessions can be. You're on THEIR time! If they're fussy you wait it out.... they might need changed, they might need to eat, then you need to let them get nice & comfortable again, or wait for them to sleep. This can require blankets, noise machines, heaters, & lots of patience lol! Did I mention it can take 2 to 3 hours?! This sweet baby made it sooo easy & our time was enjoyable. Maybe it helped that Mom knew me, so she trusted me to do what I needed & control the session. whatever it was, we were lucky ;) And so, I had to share!

Thank you Shala & Andy, for giving me your time that day, & trusting me with her. She's beautiful, & I'm honored xox!

Each session is $100 & includes the cd of image files with copyright release. Large wall prints & canvases offered at discounted rates. Session fee must be paid in advance to hold time slot. 20 minute mini sessions scheduled from 9 - 4:30!

When I'm shooting a woman, her beauty lies in the soft curve or her neck, the way the light hits her eye, glistens on her hair, or even her shoulder.

Its the way her face lights up when she laughs, or smiles.

This is what I want to photograph. These are the things I want her to see, & come to love.

As spring moves in & the sun starts to warm my skin, this is what I feel more & more. This is what moves me, what pulls me. Its where I'm heading.

Looking back, words like Glamour & Boudoir have carried feelings of cheap, tacky &/or overly sexual, which makes it hard to coin a term without evoking these feelings or images . Beautiful portraits are much more than that . I want to find what makes YOU feel beautiful. Maybe its nude. Maybe its lingerie. Or a vintage slip. Your boyfriend's button down shirt. Or even your favorite little black dress.

Experience it. Pamper yourself.

I've been bombarded with questions from other photographers lately about where I get my card templates for holidays & other things like gift certificates, so I thought I'd put all of my available templates in one place to make it easier for everyone to look through and find what they want!

The first set is my very first card template collection, The Sweetheart Collection! These cards started out specifically for Valentine's Day but I quickly realized that I wanted them to be less about Valentine's and more about little girls, whether it be for a holidays, a simple I Love You reminder, or for a birthday invitation for your princess!

The collection includes a 5x5 trifold, a 5x5 flat, a vertical flat, & a horizontal folded card, all created to match WHCC's card specs. The text is completely customizable so you can use them for many different occasions! For my first collection I'm releasing all 4 fully designed card templates for $10!
