This season’s long, lean dress does not take inspiration from the floral, flouncy maxis of seasons past. In urban monochrome shades of army green, gray, white, and black, the silhouette is more ’90s grunge and less ’70s hippie. Some of our favorites above (from Rick Owens, Stella McCartney, Bassike, and Helmut Lang) show just a bit of leg and look perfect with an open-toe boot or flat sandal and a cropped jacket-a modern go-to outfit that will take you right through the fall.

With the popularity of the range waning along with 'Moss fever', the line's Autumn / Fall 2010 collection will be the last.

PopSugar Rush Emmy Special

Everything about Miss Lyndel Yeo's 5th Birthday celebrations, held last night as part of Melbourne fashion week (MSFW), epitomised the gorgeousness that is Lyndel herself. There were cosmopolitans. There were platters of amazing food. There was a huge multi-tiered stand covered in miniature cupcakes. And there was the much anticipated runway show of her Spring 2010 collection.

To the beat of African drums Yeo's models stalked down the runway in tribal prints and exotic feather pieces; a safari that none the less incorporated her signature femininity by way of relaxed tailoring, flowing dresses, and ruffle details.
