Such a gorgeous day out here in Singapore.....cool, with the sun just peeping from behind a heavily cloudy sky. I finished off a few more custom orders and then decided to use these gorgeous brios which I received in a recent shipment. Emerald green checkerboard pear shape brios measuring 17x16.5 mm and weighing in at approx 22 carats I've turned them into festive and sassy little eye candy for the ears. Sterling silver and goldfilled chains and garnet, chrysoprase, amethyst,black agate, pink topaz, peridot and carnellian rondells and a tiny amethyst brio on each side, adorn the neck of this creation. Earrings to go along with the necklace CANDY FLOSS. Whilst I used a mixture of materials for the necklace - aventurine, lucite, howlite, the earrings feature mainly semi-precious gemstones. Faceted, cubed rose quartz with a topping of peridot, prehnite and pink topaz.

These amazing amethyst briolettes are of the most unusual shape. I've chosen to use the broad side up and the base is the tip.....it is basically a 4 sided faceted triangle shape, 2 sides are with the longer side at the base and 2 sides are with the longer side as the top. The collage shows a side view and a front view of the earrings when worn. Hope I'm not confusing anyone.

Its been a lovely, cool and a little cloudy out here in usually sunny Singapore. I completed a few custom orders and still managed a new pair of earrings.

This features a lovely set of polymer clay round beads. I've used 2 colours from this - shades of pink and grey. The stones used are pink topaz, garnet and labradorite. The rest is in the eyes of the beholder. Drop: 7.5cm.

Another scorcher of a day out here in Singapore. I think temperatures were in the high 30's and we're talking Celsius here.

It was good to be indoors and out of the blazing sun and I managed to complete this which I started yesterday and have photos taken whilst the sun was setting.

The longer necklace features czech glass and freshwater pearls whilst the shorter length features solely freshwater pearls in candy colours to match the 2 polymer clay lentils. Necklace length: 38" - Outer strand.

One of a kind, not to be repeated and therefore not to be missed. At a bargain price but with quality materials. I completed this yesterday with another necklace in WIP mode.....

These unusual elongated dual colour checker faceted octagons are adorned with chains, vesuvianite, lemon quartz, green amethyst, peridot and mystic carnellian rondells and brios. I've been working on necklaces to fulfill custom orders and have neglected my earrings. I need to retake these photos tomorrow and hopefully there will be beautiful sunshine and no rain.

This is a bead conundrum.......where does the natural stop and the man made begin.......From my hidden/secret stash I've decided to finally use beads I've hoarded for a long while.....Can you pick out the polymer clay beads from the Mookaite? I've used mookaite jaspers because they have almost all the shades (minus the turquoise) that are present in the clay beads - shades of pink, red and yellow. Both are beauties in their own right.
The mooakite come in two shapes, coins and ovals. Separating the clay beads are banded - polished and textured bands - goldfilled beads. Stunning colours.

Today has been a longggg day for me. I completed 2 pairs of earrings and a necklace which are all custom orders. I also managed to complete a lovely clay + agate necklace with sterling silver textured curved washer spacers, clusters of pink and lilac freshwater pearls amongst faceted turquoise, pink, purple amethyst and pink topaz rondells. 2 round and 2 lentils as an off centre arrangement. Ends with sterling silver toggle. Smooth oval agates are a cross between light grey and lilac.
Necklace measures approx. 18" from end to end.

I love looking at flowers and getting my colour inspiration from the multitude of blooms out there. When I finally got down to completing the bezel for the gorgeous phosphosiderite cabochons, I had to visualise the colour palette to use to embellish these beauties. I usually surf the website and drool over the gorgeous bouquets, gardens, floral arrangements. I chanced upon these beauties at Flower Duet and then set about selecting the stones from my nursery of colours.

I've settled on shaded orange moonstones, amethyst and beautiful lavender scorolite opals.

The bezel was a little 'tricky' as the phosphosiderites measure approx 16 x 12mm and are smooth and therefore required careful manouvering to ensure a nice fit.

The total drop of these beauties : 58mm

I'm working on several necklaces, earrings of course and at the same time making sure my stores @ Fashion/Restaurant/Bakery Story are updated, neighbors tipped, items replenished.......so I really have little time to sit around and be idle ;p

This will probably be my last upload for the month of March ........... really? Well, lets see how it goes on another almost complete pair of earrings but almost safe to say that I might not be able to complete that pair yet.

I was really excited about this necklace, which comes closely behind a custom necklace I did this week comprising keishi pearls, a side focal but no pendant. I've added this lovely, flawless, briolette to which I've fixed a bail which I picked up in Hong Kong when I holidayed there last year. The bail is actually rose gold but its a pale rose gold so it goes well with the gold filled wire I've used for the wirework throughout the necklace. Iridescent, irregular shape, keishi pearls, another flawless amethyst but in the shape of a puffy coin approx 10mm across, and the egg shape, crystal encrusted side focal is actually a very strong, magnetic clasp. This is a necklace with no visible clasp and is truly gorgeous.

I've been working on this necklace for a couple of days....choosing/matching the stones that would work well with the raw spinel briolettes which come in a lovely range of pinks, purples, lavenders, red and a couple of blues. These are raw so don't expect them to have the lovely machine polished surfaces. I picked out freshwater keishi pearls, labradorite, iolite, rose quartz, ruby and green amethyst rondells and brios to form the cluster on each side of the spinel, the rest of the necklace comprises gorgeous rose quartz cubes and irregular shape faceted nuggets. Quite refreshing and breathtaking when seen up close....

Necklace measures approximately 21" and metal findings are a mix of gold fill and gold vermeil.

I have a soft spot for tourmalines when it comes to minerals, of course I also love my jaspers but tourmalines are special. These are a lovely set of irregular shape tourmaline nuggets with shades of pink, yellow, light and dark green and equally lovely small round faceted tourmaline balls in similar shades. These lovely stones would do just as well on their own but I've made the necklace a little more interesting by featuring a stuning oval shaped focal, encrusted with cubic zirconia crystals - on both sides - and measuring an impressive 23mm.

Necklace is 25" long and ends with gold filled chains on either side at the back and fastens with a toggle.
