Done! Lovely spring colours and just right during this lunar new year which is a spring time festival.

Keishi pearls with gorgeous pink lustre, shaded fluorite rondells which are nicely rounded and rose quartz cube. Necklace can be worn with or without pendant as I've used a bail that can be opened.

Fan brio weighs approx 20 carats and measures 1"at widest x 1-1/2"in length.

I'm still working .... albeit at an interrupted pace due to the shenanigans going on.....all the feasting and frolicking ;p

This is a soft tone romantic necklace + pendant I'm working on with V-Day in mind. The most gorgeous rose quartz cubes, shaded fluorite rondells and absolutely delectable keishi pearls.....And the Cream de la cream would have to be the fan shape prehnite focal......

This is a creation using mainly dark purple amethyst....round, oval and rondells. A smooth elongated amethyst brio and little rondells in shades of pink thru' purple complete this elegant number. Ends with gold filled chains at the back. Measures approx 17" with a 1" pendant drop.

We had guests over for drinks and I mentioned this plant but forgot all about watching it bloom but as we were walking them out to the front gate, one of them mentioned that she could smell a beautiful fragrance and I quickly got out my camera and managed to capture a few shots of some of the flowers in full bloom. I am overwhelmed by the beauty of the flowers and the intoxicating fragrance. Just amazing! Unfortunately this will only last for a couple more hours.

The first two rows of the individual flowers were taken at almost the stroke of midnight.

Rather random and not related to my creations, I happened to also notice this pot that I've hung under a tree in the garden is in full bloom. The reason why I'm slightly excited about it is because of the number of buds that have sprouted. On almost every leaf there is a bud, some might be ready to bloom tonight.

This is an interesting plant. The buds start to slowly open around 9 pm, have a beautiful fragrance and by midnight they're in full bloom, and will stay open for a couple of hours only.

The Chinese believe that this is a 'good luck' plant mainly because they don't bloom so readily and when they do they open and shut really quickly. For us, we are just thrilled that there is a possibility of at least 10 flowers over a period and we look forward to the perfume that will permeate the air at night.

I called this creation orchid because as I was taking photos of it in the garden, from the side of my eye I noticed a spray of orchid blooms which have an identical colour as the huge briolette I've used here as a pendant.

The blooms are as gorgeous as the pendant which hangs off a necklace comprising the most unusual, lusturous and flawless baroque druzy freshwater pearls. The shape is an irregular round and the nacre is thick and lusturous. These pearls are natural and un-dyed. Atop the brio are champagne tone keishi pearls. I really enjoyed putting this piece together and I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate the uniqueness of the pearls I've used.

As we embark on a fresh new year, my first creation is a cheery, happy piece with subdued rosy colours.

Before we embark on another round of celebrations, I'm slipping in this luxe pair of earrings. With the year of the Dragon - per the Chinese Lunar calendar - this is as magnificent as the mythical figure which the dragon actually is.

Joyously golden Maderia citrine faceted elongated fan shape brios weighing in at approx 25 carats and measuring 23mm x 15mm at its widest, enhanced with shaded smooth citrine, labradorite, smokey quartz and beautiful white topaz. These beauties drop at 5.5cm.

Inspired by MING which I customized last week, this necklace uses freshwater pearls - 2 sizes and a chalcedony quartz brio focal. The freshwater pearls are shaded from cream thru' to light.

Its a glorious Saturday out here in sunny Singapore. The sun is out, beautiful cool breeze, leaves are gently rustling as the wind flows through and the birds are singing. We've learnt that there is usually a stillness where the wind chimes stop moving, birds stop singing and the plants and trees are standing like they would before a grand parade means we're in for a thunderstorm. Its the exact opposite this morning. Birds are flying around, chirping, whistling, calling and the plants are gently swaying and I can feel the breeze brush against me as I stand out in the garden taking photos of this lovely necklace I finished last night.

The egg shape pearls are shell pearls in the most delectable shades of pink, cream, chocolate (although it looks bronze in the photos) and deep maroon. Non-tarnish brass chains, polymer clay lentils and almost identical toned freshwater irregular shape pearls and non-tarnish swivel lobster clasp. I love these new clasps I've acquired.

39" in total length.
