ideas&amp;nbsp; to get you started:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1) You can mix it in pudding--it tastes great in our Butterscotch, Chocolate or Vanilla Creme Pudding.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2) You can blend 2 Tbsp- 3 Tbsp into a Chocolate milkshake made with our Chocolate drink or our Double Chocolate Pudding. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3) You can make candy with it: blend a tablespoon of Walden Farms Carmel Dip and Chocolate Sauce into 4 tablespoons on top of a piece of plastic wrap.&amp;nbsp; Then roll and wrap and place in the freezer for 15 minutes.&amp;nbsp; SO yummy!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4) Make a Chicken Stir Fry with a can of chicken, Japanese frozen veggies and 2 Tbsp. PB2.&amp;nbsp; I also use a Thai spice called Spice Hunter Thai seasoning that has some coconut powder in it and, boy, does this taste authentic!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
5) Put it on fruit--apples, peaches, nectarines or on celery.&amp;nbsp; If you are on maintenance or have children--you can do Ants on a Log with celery, PB2 and raisens down in a row!&lt;br /&gt;

6) Put it in this year's pumpkin pie!&amp;nbsp; But be careful that it doesn't overpower your pumpkin taste. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;span style="color: #663333;"&gt;So easy to make! Just mix 1/4 cup of Sugar-free Walden Farms Chocolate Sauce with 1/4 cup of Eggbeaters or egg whites and dip each strawberry in the mixture. I like to leave the stems on to hold the berry while I dip. Pleace the berries on a cookie sheet or in a miniature muffin tin sprayed with cooking spray and place in the freezer for 20 minutes. &lt;span style="color: #ff6600; font-size: 130%;"&gt;Topping:&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="color: #996633;"&gt;Mix 3 Tbsp Sugar-free Walden Farms Marshmallow dip with small container of Cool Whip.  The whole thing will taste like marshmallows!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;span style="color: #996633;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: #ff6600; font-size: 130%;"&gt;Pie:&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="color: #996633;"&gt;In a blender combine 3/4 c. Eggbeaters (or 3 eggs), 1 c. milk or soy milk, 1/2 can pumpkin , and 2 pkts of Vanilla Creme Pudding mix and 1 tsp of Pumpkin Pie Spice.  It will be thick.  Pour over crust and bake at 350º for 30 min. Well, I seem to have a hankering for this one quite a bit, and if I weren’t post-menopausal I would think I was pregnant the way I crave it! My gawd, is it ever good! Ya gotta try this one! It is good for breakfast, it is good for an appetizer, it is good for a dessert. It is good with pork, and it is good with chicken, and it is good with fish. (Gosh—I am starting to sound like Dr. Seuss!) Well, you are not going to believe it, but it only has four ingredients! That is, until you make the topping which only has three! So let me tell you how to do it … Do you want the diet version or the fattening version? Of course you want the diet version. When you have company, just get the fattening stuff. Figure it out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, here goes:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ingredients&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1 20-ounce can crushed pineapple&lt;br /&gt;1 21-ounce can Comstock sugar-free cherry pie filling&lt;br /&gt;3/4 cup Diet Dr. Pepper&lt;br /&gt;2 packages, 3-ounce cherry sugar-free gelatin&lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup water (Oops—I lied—there are five ingredients but you didn’t have to pay for the&lt;br /&gt;water ... or did you?)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Drain the pineapple juice to a saucepan into which you are adding the water and bringing to a boil. Reserve the pineapple for later. Add the gelatin and stir until dissolved. Stir in the 3/4-cup of Dr. Pepper (you can drink the rest)! Stir in the cherry pie filling and the crushed pineapple, then pour into a round mold. Refrigerate until firm and serve plain or with the topping below.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Topping&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup Cool Whip&lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup Fat-Free Sour Cream&lt;br /&gt;3 packets Splenda (or any sweetener you are into)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Whip all three ingredients together and dabble a bit on top of your beautiful red sweet and sour ring. Beautiful for Christmas, All-American holidays with a few blueberries sprinkled on top and for just about any time you are hungry for a light salad or appetizer!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Tootaloo! In a large mixing bowl, stir together Stevia,syrup, salt, and cinnamon. When these ingredients are well mixed, stir in the egg whites followed by the pumpkin and evaporated milk. Pour into the pie crust. &lt;/div&gt;

Stir in the peppers and onion. Drizzle the dressing into the salad while stirring slowly. Can add a half of jar of Hormel Bacon bits just before serving or, peanuts, almonds or sunflower seeds IF ON MAINTENANCE. Chop up the eggs add to cauliflower. They are ON THE DIET! Mary Ann has lost 25 lbs. with our program( I think that is right--I will change the figure tomorrow if I am wrong) and is now on our maintenance program. Way to go! Keep the recipes coming!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Antipasto Squares (Tastes like Pizza!)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Preheat over 375&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1 package Low Carb LaTortillas (approx 4 to 6)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thin sliced Low -Fat meat: Turkey&lt;br /&gt;(approx. 1/4 pound each) Roast Beef&lt;br /&gt;Turkey Pepperoni (95% fat free)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Approximately 4 to 5 slices ea. Swiss cheese&lt;br /&gt;Mozzarella&lt;br /&gt;Provolone&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(or any meat/cheese combination you prefer)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1 Jar Roasted Red Peppers, (9 to 10 oz. Low and behold, it is! Granted, we are supposed to have scallions (green onions) rather than sweet onions, but oh my goodness is this ever good! On maintenance you could add a couple of tablespoons of low-fat Bisquick to it to make it more like a quiche if you like.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Enova Oil&lt;/strong&gt; is found along side the Canola at the grocer and the neat thing about it is your body does not absorb it! Goes right through you and NO diarrhea! One less thing to make you fat! Many people ask me why we are allowed to have so much cheese on our diet...it has fat in it, too!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;"&gt;However, melted cheese has a chemical in it called CLA ...conjugated lineloic acid...which actually helps you burn fat! SO it is a good fat!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc6600;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:130%;"&gt;Asparagus or Zucchini Frittata Recipe &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;2 teaspoons Canola or Enova oil&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;1/2 small onion, thinly sliced&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;1/2 teaspoon salt&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;1 pound asparagus, tough ends snapped &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;off, spears cut diagonally into 1-inch lengths&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;OR 1/2 cup peeled and diced zucchini&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;4 large eggs, lightly beaten (Eggbeaters)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;1 cup shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Heat oil into a 10-inch oven-proof frying pan over medium high heat. Add onions and salt and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are softened, about 3 minutes. Add asparagus, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook, covered, until the asparagus are barely tender, 6 to 8 minutes. Pour in eggs and cook until almost set, but still runny on top, about 2 minutes. While cooking, pre-heat oven broiler. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Sprinkle cheese over eggs and put in oven to broil until cheese is melted and browned, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from oven with oven mitts and slide frittata onto a serving plate. Cut into wedges. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Serves 4. &lt;br /&gt;Regular exercise routines such as biking, walking, or hiking will help raise your metabolism during the activity and for several hours after. Even simple movements such as taking the stairs, house cleaning, or simple yard work can help increase your burn rate.

&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Adequate Protein&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Protein provides the building blocks for muscle. Without adequate protein you may actually lose muscle. You need about .4 - .5 gram of protein per pound body weight. For a woman weighing 160 pounds she would need approximately 64 - 80 grams of protein daily.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sleep!&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;A 1999 University of Chicago study showed that sleep loss affects the way we metabolize carbohydrates resulting in glucose intolerance and possibly leading to increased hunger and a slowed metabolism. Lack of sleep also can interfere with our energy levels during the day and cause us to skip our exercise routine because we are “too tired”. How often have you told yourself that?

&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Alcohol may suppress your body’s ability to burn fat. Studies show that when you drink alcohol, your body burns fat more slowly than usual during that particular meal. Watch your alcohol intake.&lt;/span&gt;

It works like this: pure glucose is assigned the index of 100 to compare it to how other foods affect the blood sugar about two hours after eating. All other foods in the index are given a number relative to the glucose number.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Foods with a low index typically break down slowly and don’t cause drastic fluctuations in blood sugar. Foods with a high index typically do. For instance, broccoli has an index of 10, while corn flakes have an index of 92. Originally the index was developed to help diabetic control their blood sugar. The numbers will also help people losing weight, as well, because when the glycemic index is high, you get hungrier when your blood sugar starts falling again. The more it has to fall the more ravenous you can get when your blood sugar is not under control. If you can keep your blood sugar more stable, you don’t have such strong cravings.&lt;br /&gt;Type II diabetes, as well as various cancers and cardiovascular disease, are all highly correlated with high index diets. There’s abundant research that shows that reducing the overall glycemic index also reduces the risks of those problems.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The index includes mainly carbohydrate foods, because protein and fat don’t have much immediate effect on blood sugar. At Before and After Weight Loss Clinics and with the Belly Buster Diet, we find the index more helpful than counting calories or grams of fat. We watch whether the foods we’re eating have a low, medium or high index, not individual numbers.&lt;br /&gt;As with any rule, there are exceptions. For instance, watermelon has a pretty high glycemic index, about 75, which is even higher than table sugar. Does that make it bad for you? No. Because in spite of its high index, watermelon actually has a pretty low glycemic load. That’s a measure based on the amount of food you’d actually consume, not just an arbitrary quantity used in testing, as with the index.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The glycemic load of a food can be determined using the glycemic index number for a food, divided by 100 and multiplied times the available carbohydrate you’d eat. With most foods, low index is consistent with low load, but there are the quirky exceptions. Of course, to find them, you’d be back to doing a bunch of math again, and that’s just not the way people normally eat.&lt;br /&gt;That’s we encourage people who are trying to develop a healthy diet to avoid getting caught up in the numbers game and look more generally at the foods in the index, leaning toward those at the low end. Anything over 70 is considered high index, 55 through 69 is medium and below 55 are foods with a low glycemic index.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And look what’s in those groups: high index foods include most breakfast cereals, white breads and other processed baked goods, most potatoes, ice cream, candies and table sugar.Lower index foods include cherries, grapefruit, broccoli, legumes like lentils and beans, most whole grain baked goods and most dairy foods. We like to encourage clients to think of glycemic index and glycemic load as just two more tools that can be helpful in developing healthier thinking and planning about dietary habits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fruits tend to have a high &lt;a title="http://www.bistromd.com/SugarFreeDiet.asp" href="http://www.bistromd.com/SugarFreeDiet.asp"&gt;glycemic index&lt;/a&gt;, so I recommend that people take their fruits with a meal, or with some protein like cottage cheese or regular cheese. These protein sources help the fruit sugar be released in the blood stream more slowly. If you are snacking on a half of an apple for instance, eat a piece of cheese with it, or if you eating watermelon, eat it with a meal rather than an in between snack.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A final thing to remember: there’s not one standardized list and most indexes include brand-name items that people buy on a typical shopping trip, as well as the more generic items like vegetables and fruits.
