Babakan Siliwangi Studio

Tidak ada pertanyaan bahwa sampai saat ini Babakan Siliwangi masih berlangsung sebagai hutan kota sejak berpuluh2 tahun yang lalu,bagai mana kemudian ini akan berlangsung kemasa depan dengan keadaan seperti semula,dengan pohon2 tropis yang rimbun dan mata airnya yang terdapat disana?
Pada saat ini tokoh2 masyarakat mengambil keputusan mengikuti para seniman dan budayawan untuk mempertahankanya sebagai hutan kota- dengan didirikanya studio gallery seijin pemerintah kota menambah semarak alam lingkungan dan membuahkan para seniman dengan semangat kerja yang merupakan peninggalan kenangan berharga.

Atas kesepakan bersama studio gallery itu dinamakan Sanggar Olah Seni muncul sesuai dengan bentuk seni yang bekerja sama dengan alam lingkungan yang penuh akan keakraban pengaturan alami.

glass etching

Seldom have we used glass pane for printing plate, because the risk of getting broken easily, which we actually should'nt worry about.I found it is cheaper and easier to handle even it gave a good answer, if we glue the same size of board or poly foam all together with on it.
As a usual we use asphalt or etching ground to cover the surface which we want to etch ,by using a paint brush..
Since hydroflouric acid is fuming and will attack all the organic tissue and hazard our lung,we should use a glove and respiratory mask in mixing it by pouring into the water in 2 inches square smaller plastics tray than the glass pane,which has been prepared first before. Then ,I don't dilute or dip the glass pane in this solution but I will put it up side down,so the trace of design or drawing is exposed to the fuming of hydroflouric acid which will etch the glass and the glass pane it self will cover the fume of hydroflouric acid for over night.
I really enjoyed and found it is saver, more over the glass pane etched can be used as window glass screen and printing plate as well..for experiment I used to use 6mm thick of 20 square cm glass pane to see the depth of the etching groove.

Transfer paper adalah cara termudah untuk memindahkan suatu gambar baik dilakukan dengan tangan atau cetaksaring untuk benda 3 dimensi,cekung atau cembung .Benda yang dasarnya metal ,gelas ,keramik dan
kain sekalipun hanya tinta dan cat yang digunakan berbeda,hal ini akan didiskusikan kemudian ,karena disini akan diperbincangkan mengenai kertas nya saja.kertas dasar yang dipakai adalah kertas koran atau kertas singkong
walau sedikit lebih mahal tetapi lebih baik.Pertama :kertas dilapisi gelatin diletakan diatas kain supaya bila merekat mudah melepaskannya dengan membasahi belakang kain.Setelah kering dilapisi lagi dengan lem tapioka dicampur sabun yang telah diiris iris supaya mudah larut dan tak berbusa banyak ,dan dipakai setelah dingin dalam keadaan
gel 2 atau 3 lapis.Setelah kering gunakanlah putih telur atau albumen yang dapat dibeli ditoko kimia.Ketiga lapisan ini setelah kering dapat digunakan untuk mentransfer gambar setelah di bubuhinya dengan berbagai cara baik printing ,digambar tangan,atau pun melalui digital printing.Untuk metal atau benda padat lainnya cukup menggunakan epoxy laquer dipoleskan dan menempelkan tranferpaper yang sudhah bergambar tsb ,untuk menghidari bluring sebaiknya menunggu laquer sedikit kering dan hasil lebih baik bila menggunakan air brush.
Cat yang digunakan bisa synthetic,duco,tinta cetak,acrylic.Mengapa menggunakan transfer paper?Silahkan lihat ,praktekan dan bandingkan dengan cara langsung mana yang lebih efficient digunakan .

It was about fifty years a go, which I still remember when the first time cycling.In my country by that time every body who had a bike they had to pay a tax in different way from owning another vehicle.The officer used transfer paper to seal a bike on it's crossbar indicatting the tax had been paid.The most interesting things was they used cassava paper with printed seal on to transfer to, just simply wet on the back of a paper and applied the seal printed side on the bike crossbar with warning commentary of the officer that I should not touch , untill it got perfectly dried.

Selama ini saya mencoba mencari pendapat dari rekan2 kami penggemar lukisan ataupun pelukis sendiri ,mengenai technic melukis dengan transferring system dari suatu media ke suatu permukaan ,misalnya kertas,kain,atau pun canvas,apakah ini dapat di katagorikan seni lukis atau suatu karya graphyc art? Pernah kami akan menampilkan karya serupa ,tetapi commentar suatu pihak:" ini cetakan". Sejauh ini timbul perkembangan dari istilah pengertian atau pun pendapat berkenaan dengan hal printing,antara lain ' monotype dengan monoprint ' mana yang sesungguhnya kata yg lebih baik atau cocok digunakan untuk suatu karya lukis masih dalam perbincangan diantara para penggemar maupun pelukis sendiri.

When we do monoprint or monotype ,technique and visual vocabluary are the important
part involved in expressing idea which require a sensitive blending of technique.
Long time a go before digital technologies invented, people do anything to finish their aim manualy,to day technologies help them to accomplished they intend faster.
In printing they used carved wooden block to make decoration on paper and cloth.
When the knowledge getting advance they used acid chemical for printing plate to create groving for retainning ink was found.It is relief and intaglio etching even
photo sensitizer to create more result production perfectly fster.
Now in new era ,modern digital technologies help us in discovering and researching,
create their work combining and using technologies accomplished the sense of visual
which the part of enjoyment to capture the result.
As a painter involved in printing medium technique all the tools help in unifying the elements of beauty and expessing idea which some many dificult thing can not be reached or too dificult by human in doing this manually.
