Mogwai website
Website for the internationally reowned band Mogwai from Scotland.

I developed designs from Duncan Macdonald (http://www.iamduncan.com/) using various database elements and carefully constructed HTML and CSS code. For more detailed explanation click to read more for this article.
This site was meant to enable the band and managers to more effectively upload content to the web. It also required a migration of servers and content from another CMS.
The previous site had included:

 photos
 videos
 audio
 news messages.

We took these and developed a few more features to extend the site.
This site has been a success with over 50000 users in the first month of its release. Planning the server requirements and bandwidth was a learning experience and required myself to set up an account using Plesk on a Media Temple (http://www.mediatemple.net/) virtual server in USA.
This is probably the most ambitious site I have built to date and has subsequently been integrated as a working practise with sites like Schtum (http://www.schtum.org/) and Spacestudios (http://www.spacestudios.org.uk/) redesign

If you are coming from Creative Cow Podcast (http://cowcast.creativecow.net/final_cut_pro/index.html), then hello. I see it is doing really well on Itunes, if you like it please recommend it to your friends or add a comment for the itunes store. It is going to get really good in the next few months.
I have been producing these podcasts for people to be able to more easily understand some of the most fundamental concepts and also more obscure aspects of video editing and effects using the Final Cut Pro interface.
Check back here for more information on future topics covered and a bit about how I have produced these podcasts. Please take a look through my site and see some of the subjects I teach (http://www.benscottarts.co.uk/section/Courses/) and some of the projects I have been involved with.
I would really like to get some feedback on what you have thought to my podcast. You can contact me through the contact page (http://www.benscottarts.co.uk/contact/) or register for emails updates over at subscriptions (http://www.benscottarts.co.uk/index.php?option=com_philaform&app_id=1&Itemid=50)
