Benchmark Surveys offer Site Management/Supervision services to groundworks and other smaller contractors to help keep a tighter control on costs. This is normally negotiated with a full-time engineer on a flat hourly rate on one or more sites for the same contractor.

Our site management/supervision services include:

Site supervision of operatives
Maintenance of Quality Assurance Systems
Plant and Materials take-offs and requisitions
Technical Queries/liaising with Client/Main Contractor/Design Team

Land Surveying Services

Whether your requirement is a small local survey to a full blown GPS survey, we offer very competitive rates to carry out the associated works, and can produce the final drawings on either disk or paper, depending on the clients request. All our surveys are produced in DXF, DWG and PDF format and are fully compatible with Autocad programs, should the client wish to edit the collected data.

Our range of Land Surveying services also include the following construction services for site based surveys:

Quantification of earthworks using the original ground level surveys and the design drawings.
Measurement of materials to allow early identification of any surplus/shortfall.
Periodic checks on survey control stations.

Benchmark Surveys have a wealth of setting out experience. Our range of setting out services include:

Establishing site control stations
Verification of existing ground levels

Benchmark Surveys Ltd. has the latest surveying equipment, providing total setting out and survey support to your staff. We can supply an engineer full-time on a flat hourly rate with no hidden extra costs.

If your site does not warrant a full-time engineer, Benchmark Surveys Ltd. specialise in visiting sites as and when required. This can be to set up sites or providing grids and datums for your own staff to work from. Or when accurate and reliable Engineering support is required we offer our part-time service. This service is charged per 4 hour block at the agreed hourly rate. This particular service is very popular with our clients as Engineering costs are kept to a minimum and only called upon when needed.

For an efficient service we like to carry out the majority of calculations in the office prior to a visit. Therefore if drawings are forwarded to the office in advance, either electronically or on paper, we can use the drawing to set out whatever you want. So all you would have to do is book us in advance with details of what you will require setting out.

Pricing
Setting out for all types of construction work can be undertaken on three tariffs :

Measured work so you only pay for what is set-out.
A one-off fee can be negotiated for the entire operation.
An all inclusive hourly rate can be negotiated.
