As you know, Annie’s b-day was last month. One of her favorite gifts was a Winnie-the-Pooh puzzle. She loves this thing. And she’s really good at it! Our little genius. :-) The other day, she brought her puzzle to my house and I just couldn’t resist taking several photos of her and all her puzzle cuteness. 87 photos to be exact. Of Annalin working her puzzle. Yea, I’m in love. I decided I’m the only person on the planet that would want to look at all 87 puzzle photos, so I narrowed down to 6 favorites (you’re welcome). Here they are. :-)

oliver is here!

It seems to be baby week on our blog. Get ready for some more cuteness! You may remember my friends, Pat and Michele, from their maternity session awhile back. A few days later Oliver was born. Chris and I went to visit them a week or so after he was born. The plan was to take some photos, but little Oliver just was not having it. He calmed down for a few milliseconds at a time. It took me awhile to go through the images because I was afraid that there wasn’t much here. I went through them today was pleasantly surprised. He did sleep a bit between multiple feedings while we were there. Here are my favorites of Oliver and his adoring parents at their whimsical house in New Braunfels.

I just love a closest full of teeny tiny baby things. Oliver is so loved. These were taken in Pat and Michele’s backyard! How awesome is that?! What a perfect family. This one makes me smile.

eric, lynley and baby ada

I have been looking forward to this session for months. We shot Eric and Lynley’s wedding a couple of years ago and now they have a new addition. I have been looking at pictures of this adorable girl on Facebook for a few months and could not wait to meet her. Ada is 10 months old and absolutely adorable. Thank you Eric and Lynley for making the drive from Dallas so I could meet her. I look forward to watching her grow. Here are my favorites from their session.

Ada really loved me at first, but after awhile she just wasn’t so sure : ) Lynley wanted a picture of Ada to put next to one of their wedding images shot in a field. Love this! She is precious! I heart baby eyelashes!

ken and andrea’s engagement session

I met up with Ken and Andrea at my new favorite colorful, urbanish (yes, I made up a word, deal with it!) location – El Mercado. I love how colorful our city is. We got up suuuuuper early for the session, but it was totally worth it. Having the whole market to ourselves was awesome. Fun random tidbit, Ken went to high school with Turner of Kira and Turner. It really is such a small world. Here are my favorites from their session.

Andrea said she grew up loving Mexican sweet bread and wanted to incorporate it into the session. I love the colors in these. I am in love with this doorway. We only got a few frames in before some employees of the shop came and opened up the red gate. Andrea’s bouquet is the perfect addition to this shot. : )

Lately, when I tell someone I’m a wedding photographer, they almost always say “You must be really busy this time of year!” Well, actually… Texas wedding season is different from other parts of the country because of this gosh-darn hot weather. Soooo we get lots of time off in the summer time. YAY! We’ve been taking lots of vacation photos, family photos, and doing-nothing photos… so get ready to see lots of our personal lives on the blog in the upcoming weeks. :-) For starters, here are a few shots from my 4th of July weekend trip to Galveston. Grandma, Grandpa, brother, mom, dad and niece – we all shared an itty bitty beach front condo and had a blast. Enjoy. :-)

I love this shot because this was my backseat view for most of the trip. I love that you can see my mom in the driver’s seat and my grandma’s white hair peeking over the passenger seat.
