Sometimes we get so caught up in posting wedding/engagement/portrait blogs… we forget that another purpose of the blog is for you to get to know us better. The way I see it, you can’t really know Jenn and I without knowing each of our adorable puppies. Since neither one of us have kids (yet!), our dogs are our babies. We are obsessed with them… because… well, they’re awesome. :) So… without further ado… meet Libby, Diva and Romeo.

Libby: Is mine. She’s first in this post because she’s cuter than the other two. haha I love how she smiled for this pic. :D

Diva: Used to be mine… until several years ago when I moved out of my parents house and they insisted on keeping her. You gotta love that million-dollar smile she’s got. :)

Romeo: Is Jenn’s (and now Chris’ too!). He’s super cute, but be careful… he thinks he’s a big guard dog and will cause trouble if you come near Jennifer without getting his permission first. :)

And there you have it… our three awesome puppies. :) I would ask you guys which one you think is the cutest, but Libby would win by a mile and make the other two jealous… :)

becca and ozzie are married!

Becca and Ozzie got married in Corpus Christi. We don’t get to go to the beach very often, so it was a fun change : ) They are such a sweet couple. Every time you get within earshot of Ozzie, he is telling you how amazing Becca is and how lucky he is to have found her.
There were several photographers in the bridal party and they took such great care of us! Special thanks to Jessica for knowing what we needed before we knew we needed it : ) For even more beachy wedding goodness, check out the slideshow. Congratulations, you two!

How cute is Becca’s mom? She was such a great mother-of-the-bride! She said her only job that day was to “get her daughter to the church!”

Simple details are the best.

Meanwhile, the guys were hanging out at one of the groomsmen’s restaurant. Boys have it so much easier!

After the ceremony, the sun was setting quickly, so we hurried to the back of the church for a few portraits. Becca, you are seriously stunning.

Yay for sunsets on the beach!!

Becca and Ozzie ordered one of our custom guestbooks. It was such a hit with their family and friends.

This post is a little bit different because (1) Josh & Ivey are friends of mine (2) they aren’t engaged… yet. Josh and I go way back. He moved to Atlanta a few years ago, so we’ve kept in touch by phone, Facebook, and his occasional visits to SA. On Valentine’s Day weekend, he and his girlfriend Ivey were in town for a wedding. Since Josh is a good friend and Ivey is absolutely adorable, I knew I had to find a way to get them in front of my camera. On Sunday morning, we grabbed some breakfast and then went driving around for a mini photo session. Here are my favorites. Enjoy :)

You may remember Matt & Jenni from their engagement session a few months ago. Jenni happens to love brick walls, bright colors, and all things urban (so do we!), so the Spire at Sunset Station was the perrrrrfect place for their ceremony & reception. Not only is The Spire a gorrrrrgeous venue, it’s surrounded by about a million (yes a million) urban-y photo spots. So yea, we were pretty excited. :) We love downtown weddings!! Last week, our friends Nathan and Jenica had their first baby. Ella Sue is adorable. I simply cannot resist her. When Chris and I went to see them in the hospital, I told Jenica right away that she HAD to bring her over to take pictures. We shot all of these photos in my bedroom. I cannot wait to see her as she grows up. Congratulations Nathan and Jenica, she is perfect!!
