Country Living Fair 2012

Had a great time at the Country Living show this year. We had a little bad weather on Friday but, otherwise it was a beautiful weekend. My Grandparents came down from Michigan to spend the weekend with and then followed us home to PA to see the other family members.

Hello to all of my Father's Faithful Fans,

This is Noah from over at N.C.C. Photography. Well, Berries in the Meadow just finished up Market Square's June Market 2012. My dad, mom, and sister really outdid themselves with the displays this time; Just take a look and see! My dad has been drawing a lot of inspiration from those awesome bright colors like orange, aqua, and red, as well as keeping up with his revolutionary Black & White product line (I'm a big fan, as you may be able to tell). So, Berries in the Meadow is totally psyched about summer, and we sincerely hope these pictures will help you to feel the same!

Christmas in the Woods

Here are some pictures from our most recent retail show, Christmas in the woods. It is located in Columbiana,Oh, just over the border from PA. It is a craft that runs 2 weekends and brings together many vendors with their handmade items and each vendor demonstrates his work so you can watch and everyone is dressed up in costume to add to the fun.The first weekend was warm and sunny, but the second weekend was cold and rainy, although there were a few times the sun poked out.

I am sorry the photos are not that great, the light in the woods is not that great and there is no electric for lights inside the booth. This show is one of our family's favorites, there is nice music and entertainment, great food, and also lots of our fellow vendors are great friends.

Hey everyone, I you all have been waiting along time for these, but better late than never, right?

This is one of our busiest seasons of the year. With the Holidays fast approaching, there are lots of shows to set up and make product for, thus the delay on blog post.

Anyway I hope you enjoy the long awaited pictures. It was a beautiful weekend, and their were more people than I have ever seen in the past 3 years we have done this show. Also you will notice that we changed our booth location. We moved to be under one of the large community tents. It was a larger investment that payed off greatly,our sales went up significantly! Thank You to all for your faithful support of our family business. It is greatly appreciated.

I am very excited to announce that I am now designing for Collins Painting and Design Wholesale company!
My first designs were for Christmas and Fall and now I have added summer/beach, everyday Happy, and my newest Black and white Vintage in Print collection.
I am so happy with how all the designs have turned out and hope you that you like them too.

Sorry everyone it has been such a long time since I have posted here.
This spring our family started foster care again, and we were blessed to get a placement of twins!
Needless to say they have filled our lives full ( of joy!) and making time to blog has been few and far between. I am in the process of getting some images to post about a very exciting new avenue of our business. Please make sure to come back to here the good news!

Words to Live By....

Just recently I finished a project of making block signs with only words and sayings on them instead of my normal paintings of flowers and such. Some of them say things such as Brush your teeth, make your bed, or walk the dog. Even though they are some of the most commonly said words in our everyday lives,the happy colors and whimsy of the lettering, make them more like a happy reminder than a nagging statement.When I put all the blocks together, they made quite a colorful combination! It was a very fun and refreshing project. I also included some picture so you could see them. Have a happy day!

Last weekend we once again opened our home for our annual spring open house. We got an interesting April Fool's surprise on Friday, waking up to snow! But the weather calmed downed and Folk Art On The Farm was a success one again.We have decided to be open again this weekend. Inspired Ideas

As I told you before, right now I am enrolled in Blogging Your Way e-class by
Holly Becker of Decor8.Our homework this week was to feature one of ten ideas that we talked about.I choose to highlight a magazine.I immediately thought of my friend Amy Powers,and her magazine Inspired Ideas. A few years ago my Dad was featured in the magazine as an Inspired Friend.I love this magazine as it combines fresh ideas, new artists,whimsical layouts,and vintage finds.In this mostrecent issue, Amy had Mary Engelbreit as one of her artist profiles.
I was so glad to see her since I was a big fan of her late magazine,
Home Companion.Also there are some wonderful projects.They are not difficult and have great results. Amy includes all the patterns for the projects in appendix in the back of the magazine.
The magazine is $3.30 for the online version or $38.70 for a printed one.
It includes 117+ pages full of inspiration,projects,and artist that will brighten your day.
