its flagship Oxford Street, London store today. The retailer has chosen the British model for its campaign image because she embodies the type of urban, independent and confident woman MANGO customers can relate to. The advertising campaign will feature Kate Moss wearing the latest new Mango Spring/Summer collection photographed by renowned photographer Terry Richardson. The legendary photographer has captured the natural and spirited image of Kate who says “I’m really excited to be working with Mango for S/S 2012, we had a great time shooting the campaign, the team are so easy to work with and shooting with Terry is always fun.” MANGO has also produced a new TV commercial featuring Kate Moss, called Spy Game. Shot under the direction of Terry Richardson in London, the film will be launched in early March in approximately forty countries, including France, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. MANGO has a reputation for featuring models and actresses of international stature and Kate Moss is the perfect choice to take over from Isabeli Fontana who was the face of the A/W 2011 collection. In the past MANGO has also worked with Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Milla Jovovich, Lizzy Jagger, Karolina Kurkova, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Inés Sastre, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Diane Kruger. The new season MANGO trends include graphic contrasts between clean and unstructured lines. As a variation to the cleanliness of lines, the collection has a clear 60’s influence, particularly in the dresses. Lightweight, pleated and gathered fabrics offer movement and present a fresh, flirty and feminine touch. MANGO is also introducing a more casual line, bringing together ethnic elements and blending them with sportswear details to give a very simple, strong urban look. Tie-dye, abstract prints and patchwork in indigo and yellow tones with unwashed effects reinforce the casual appeal. MANGO opened its first store in Barcelona’s Passeig de Gràcia in 1984 and now has over 2,400 stores in 107 countries. Its concept is based on a quality fashion product combined with the latest fashion trends at an affordable price. /> partnership with Rowland at an exclusive, VIP-packed party hosted at The Box in London, England,
one of the city’s leading contemporary establishments.
A global star since the age of 16, Kelly Rowland – a stand-out judge on the UK’s X-Factor and
Grammy Award winner, grew up in the spotlight as a member of Destiny’s Child – one of the most
successful groups of all time. Her powerful voice a key ingredient in the group’s awe-inspiring list
of chart-toppers, which include four No.1 singles in the US and more than 80 million records sold
worldwide – Kelly has now blossomed into a stunningly unique solo artist.
“I’m massively excited to welcome Kelly Rowland to the TW Steel family,” stated TW Steel cofounder
and her talent is simply phenomenal. We’re delighted to be partnering with her and to have her
representing TW Steel. We share her passion for music and we know she enjoys working with
love the statement wearing a big watch makes and they just get what it is to be fun and stylish at
now channel that passion into designing my own range of watches with TW Steel is pretty exciting.”
Kelly continues to promote the launch of her third solo studio album, Here I Am, for Universal
Motown Records. It follows the release of her 2002 RIAA Gold-certified debut album, Simply Deep,
which reached No.12 on the Billboard 200 chart, and 2007’s follow-up smash, Ms Kelly, which hit
No.6 on the Billboard 200 chart selling more than 1.2 million copies worldwide.
TW Steel enjoys an equally impressive reputation as an ambitious lifestyle brand and it enjoys a
Bedingfield, and Fergie owning their own TW Steel timepieces. Founded in 2005, the family owned
Skin is beautiful. It’s super polished. It looks healthy. It looks glowing. It looks like the girls were basically taking care of their bodies for the last six months while I was designing.

David Koma, Designer

Working with St. Tropez this season was quite amazing.

Michelle Feeney, CEO – PZ Cussons Beauty

At St. Tropez we’ve really worked very hard on partnerships with designers that we believe are the future.

Nichola Joss, celebrity Skin Finishing Expert

It’s all about the skin. I’m in love with the skin.

Ellie Goulding

Skin is the foundation of everything with beauty and hair. If you haven’t got good skin, you have to work on that first.

Henry Holland, Designer

We’ve been working with St. Tropez now for three seasons. You get to know more about the product, and you know what you can achieve a bit better and then sit down with Nichola and go through what you want to achieve. They’ve always got new products coming out as well, so it’s good to incorporate them. You can definitely achieve different looks every season that we’ve been working with them. So it’s been good.

Nichola Joss, celebrity Skin Finishing Expert

We’re going to do a how-to. Here’s the step-by-step guide. First of all we’re going to do a base colour of tan. We’re going to spray it on really lightly, evening out skin tones and just giving that lovely undercurrent of a glow to the skin. Now what we’re going to do is we’re going to apply the illuminating products. We’ve got two. We’re going to use the Rose Illuminator which we’ve had for a couple of seasons. It’s a pastel, light rose illuminator, but it gives gentle illumination to the skin. We’ve mixed it with a silver rose, which is a ramped up dewiness. When we mix two of the products together, we get that perfect sheen that we’re going to have on the skin. We’re going to do it right down the legs, back and front, same with the arms and across the shoulder blades, the collar bone. We’re really covering the skin. Everything that’s on show is going to be illuminated.

Karen Heras-Kelly, head of PR – PZ Cussons Beauty

The inspiration for this show, for Erdem Spring/Summer 2012, is Chloe Sevigny. She is known for her beautiful, beautiful skin and a very, very naturally polished look.

Erdem, Designer

The girl is very much a continuation of our girl from last season, but I think she’s probably gone on holiday. She’s gone somewhere hot, which is where St. Tropez comes in. We really worked on the polish of the skin and the finish of it. She’s going to look really healthy with a wonderful polish and a wonderful kind of refinement hopefully.

Roksanda Ilincic, Designer

Obviously, I love using and incorporating with St. Tropez beautiful products, which we specially mixed for this season.

David Koma, Designer

This season we wanted to do something very focused and very directional. Working with St. Tropez this season it was quite amazing because the product and the concept linked so well. From the very first minute of the meeting, we were excited and got a lot of ideas of what kind of skin tone we wanted and kind of dressing the skin in many different ways and different layers.

Nichola Joss, celebrity Skin Finishing Expert

The references are tribal inspiration. There’s lots of light. There’s lots of iridescence. We’re using a silver rose and really ramping up the illumination. Because we’re shooting and there’s lots of daylight here, you can see how it’s going to look at home when you use the product.

Michelle Feeney, CEO – PZ Cussons Beauty

Whether you’re going to a nightclub in Newcastle or you happen to be at the Cannes Film Festival, you should be able to go into Boots and buy a product that makes you feel a million dollars.

Nichola Joss, celebrity Skin Finishing Expert

The girls at home can watch the shows, watch the TV, see what’s on the catwalk and then go to the shops and pick it up and do it themselves. It’s really fashionable. It’s modern and we’re a step forward. It’s all about embracing the skin. If you’ve got really good skin, your clothing looks immaculate. It’s easier to put on your make up. It’s all about the skin.

Fashion students given chance to see their design in Topshop!

Uncategorized

Jones and Jones and Fashionista Central are giving University of the Arts fashion students the chance to see their design produced and sold in Topshop

Fashionista Central, the social network for people in the fashion industry, has teamed up with fashion brand Jones and Jones to give one lucky student from University of the Arts, London the chance to see their own design produced as part of the Jones and Jones Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, plus win a cash prize of £150! With the collection going on sale in Topshop on Oxford Street, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an aspiring fashion designer to make their retail debut in a world-famous store and gain significant industry recognition.
Jones and Jones have picked out three gorgeous and very different fabrics from which the student can choose to create his or her design of the ‘perfect dress for a night out on the town’. Jones and Jones is known for their edgy yet feminine style and entrants are encouraged to thoroughly research the Jones and Jones ‘look’, coming up with a design that will both fit in with the rest of the collection and still have the entrant’s own personal design stamp on it.
The competition is open to any student currently enrolled at the University of the Arts, London. To enter, students need to create a free account at FashionistaCentral.com from where they can download an application form, which must be submitted along with an illustration of their proposed design and a tech-pack by 2nd November 2011.

Kate Moss Party Video

Bespoke TV

featured

Kate Moss

Video from the Kate Moss Launch Party for her Lipstick Range from Rimmel.

href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj4NTEo5hCM" rel="prettyPhoto[g489]"">Nicky Clarke. I’m here today to talk to you about the new Nicky Clarke Sensor Dryer, which is part of our exclusive Mayfair Collection. Using our 20 years of fashion and salon experience, the Sensor Dryer has been designed with salon professional qualities and performance and making styling at home far easier. Its built-in ionic emitter helps to prevent frizz and promote shine. The 2,000 watt A/C motor guarantees a salon quality blow dry every time.

The look we are creating today has a retro feel using a classic ’60s shape but brought right through to today by using a more carefree finish. Here we have blow dried the hair and set by wrapping around self-grip rollers. If you don’t have any self-grip rollers, that’s fine. You can create this style just as well by wrapping the hair around two fingers, ensuring the ends are in, and secured with a silver clip.

This groundbreaking dryer has a touch sensitive system which allows the dryer to automatically switch itself off when you put it down and then instantly turn back on when you pick it up. This combination of blow drying and setting has given us this modern feel. We call it the blow set.

The Nicky Clarke Sensor Dryer is lightweight and comes with two speed settings and three heat settings. Cool the hair using the cool shot button. Once the hair has cooled, take out your rollers or clips and brush it out.
