Learn Why you Should not Squeeze a Boil in this Informative Article

A skin infection caused by bacteria is a boil. A boil is seen on the skin when the bacterium infects the skin and forms pus. The affected area becomes red and slowly grows in size and is filled with white and yellow fluid called pus. It is painful and it also affects the appearance of a person.

Once the skin is infected by the bacteria and the boil is seen it takes about one week to form head. Once the head is formed healing process becomes faster. Formations of head can be done by following many home remedies. One can give warm compress and apply ointments like black ointment which is safe and effective and also has soothing effect.

But at times in order to drain pus out people squeeze the boil which is very harmful.
If the boil forms head and pus drains out on its own the infection finishes. But if a person squeezes the boil many complications can be seen. Some of them are as follows:

• First and foremost the infection is not cured.
• If we squeeze the boil and the pus comes out the infection can spread to different parts of the face and body which can lead to more boils.
• When we squeeze we actually apply pressure and this pressure on boil can allow the bacteria to enter the blood stream. The infection can also spread into internal organs leading to serious health problems.
• If the boil is near nose and mouth it can be more harmful because the infection can affect the brain.

There are many ways of safely treating a boil at home and if the boil does not respond to the treatment then one can see a doctor but one should never try to squeeze the boil. In order to cure the boil draining of pus is necessary and for this the boil needs to have a mouth or an opening. This can be done easily and effectively by giving warm compresses. It gives an opening to the boil and allows the pus to drain itself.

If the boil becomes bigger or does not have an opening one should take medical advice. A doctor can drain the pus from the boil by performing a minor surgery. He would give local anesthesia on the affected area and make a cut on the boil and allow the pus to move out. Later he would clean the entire area with an antiseptic lotion and apply cream, and cover it with a bandage. He can even prescribe an antibiotic depending upon the boil. He would change the bandage from time to time and thus the infection would be cured.

But one should never squeeze a boil because it can be very painful and can lead to serious health situations. At times a scar can appear as a result of squeezing which would affect the personality and take time to disappear. Therefore say no to squeeze.

Are you suffering From Pain? Learn How long Does it Takes to Heal a Boil

The boils are formed by bacterial infection called, Staph. They are red in color and the affected part is swollen and filled with pus. The pus that is formed inside the boils contains bacteria. It is only when the pus comes out the boil is cured. After a few days of the infection of bacteria rashes are seen which are red and itchy? It is painful also.

Soon after the affected swells up and is filled up with white or yellow fluid called pus. By following few home remedies like hot compress which is given several times a day draining of pus happens soon. A cloth dipped in warm water in which Epsom salt is dissolved is put on the affected area. It not only helps in head formation but also gives relaxation from pain. When the head is formed the pus comes out easily. But before this one should never press or squeeze the boil. One should be very careful and clean the area with antiseptic lotion and apply cream and cover it with a bandage. Slowly it heals up.

Therefore we conclude that draining of the pus is the most important part of healing and if the boil becomes too large and does not form head then one needs to see a doctor.

The doctor helps in the draining of the pus through minor surgery. The doctor applies local anesthesia on the affected part. He makes a cut on the boil through sterilized instruments and helps the pus to drain out.

After the pus drains out he covers the affected area with a bandage after cleaning it with antiseptic lotion and applying ointment on to it. The individual remains under his supervision and the doctor changes the bandage from time to time.

In some cases small boils are cured without head formation. They can be cured either by giving warm compresses or by applying creams. In this case the boil is absorbed by the body.

Many people say that the boils heal on their own but it is not true they need to be treated they do not heal on their own. It takes approximately 10 to 25 days for a boil to heal up and that too depends on the boil or the bacterial infection suffered by the skin.

Antibiotics are external elements to cure boils which are formed because of bacterial infection on the skin. Our body has a very strong immune system to fight any infection but at times the infection can be too strong and one needs to take medicines in order to cure them. These medicines are called antibiotics.

People have been using these antibiotics since long times and they have been cured by it.
Antibiotics not only kill the bacteria but also prevent them from growing.

The boils occur due to bacterial infection. Staphylococcus aurous is the bacteria responsible for the infection. Minor boils are cured by themselves but if they grow they need to be treated. Some can be treated at home by giving hot compresses and maintaining proper hygiene. A little bigger one and ones that do not have mouth are treated by doctors. The doctor drains out the pus by surgery. But when the boils occur again and again one needs to use antibiotics to cure them.

Antibiotics are of two types one that can be applied externally and another oral antibiotics. Tetracycline is an antibiotic that is applied externally which destroys the bacteria. They have no side effects. If the area affected is very large then it becomes very hard to apply it. In such cases oral antibiotic such as minocycline helps in curing boils.

Even if the boils are mild enough to be treated at home antibiotic cream should be applied on it once the pus drains out. Even in case of surgery doctor prescribes antibiotics once the pus drains out. Antibiotics not only cure the infection they also stop them from spreading.

Various home treatments along with antibiotics fasten the healing process. Warm compress given by mixing Epsom salt in warm water by a clean cloth on the affected area helps in forming head of the boil. It also relaxes from pain and swelling. Once the head is formed the pus drains out easily from the boil.

The affected area should be cleaned properly and an antibiotic should be applied on the area. If done so the boil heals faster. Even if one takes antibiotic in the form of tablets the healing process is quickened. Even after surgery doctor prescribes antibiotics for the boil to heal up.

Since boils are highly contagious they should be treated carefully and properly. Antibiotics act as catalyst and help in quick recovery of boils so they should be used properly while treating boils.

Boils are red, pus filled swellings on the skin caused by bacterial infection. Staph is the bacteria responsible for this infection. The boils are painful. The infection is contagious and if not treated properly it can spread from one person to another. Therefore one should take proper care and prevent the infection from spreading.

Some boils need to be treated while some wither away on their own. In both cases the pain and irritation can be avoided by following few measures of relief:

• Warm compresses are the best and easiest way to heal the infection. A clean cloth dipped in hot water is applied on the affected area. The heat so applied improves the blood supply to the affected area and this allows more white blood cells to enter which kills the bacteria. Hot and cold compression has also proved very useful for the same. The cloth dipped in warm water is placed on the boil and after that it is removed and dipped in icy cold water and again placed on the boil. This helps in removing the infection quicker.
• Turmeric is an Indian spice which is very effective in treating skin problems because of its antiseptic property. We can apply its paste and cover it with a bandage. If applied regularly it speeds up the healing process. Turmeric capsules are also available in the market. One can take the capsules.
• Apart from this the boil occurs due to vitamin and mineral deficiencies. These deficiencies occur due to lack of proper diet and results in weak immune system. A healthy diet strengthens the immune system.

One can get relief by using herbs like:

• Echinacea: It strengthens the immune system and acts as a blood cleanser.
• Garlic: It is a medicinal herb which because of its antibiotic property not only cures them but also controls them.
• Aloe Vera: It also helps in treating boil.
• Burdock root: It releases toxins from the body and it is also an antibiotic.
• Red clover purifies the blood and liver.

Poultices are very effective in giving relief from the infection.

• A slice of bread soaked in milk should be tied with the help of bandage on the affected area. This should be done 3 to 4 times a day.
• Betel leaf should be warmed and castor oil should be put on it. This should be replaced with a fresh one when the former cools down.

These are some of the remedies which provide relief from boil.

Staph Infection in Nose- Symptoms, Causes and Treatment to Get Fast Relief

Staph or Staphylococcus is a common bacterium that is found in human body. It is generally found on skin and nose. These bacteria are harmless but if they enter the body through any cut or opening they grow very quickly and they cause infection.

The symptoms of Staph infection in nose are itchiness and painful cuts or wounds on nose. The bacteria enter the skin and they infect the area which can be seen in the form of boil on the skin. These boils are filled with white and yellow fluid called pus. Once the boil grows and a head is formed the pus drains out of boil. Once the pus is drained out the boil disappears after some days.

Some boils are not very big. They are mild in form. They appear and after some days disappear naturally. These forms of boils are called Furuncles. The other form of boil is Carbuncles. They are complicated and take some time to heal. They also need medical help to get cured.

Impetigo is another infection caused by Staph which occurs around the nose and mouth. If a person suffers from this infection then scabs made up of dry serum are formed.

Staph infection in nose is highly contagious. It can spread by using handkerchief, towel and tissue used by the person suffering from the infection. People apply Vaseline in case of cuts inside the nose. Usually the Staph infection in nose is treated by antibiotics. Sometimes doctors advise use of medicinal honey because honey has antibacterial properties. The bacterial culture helps in curing the infection.

Bacitracin, Mupirocin or a combination of antibiotics can be given by the doctor. It can be put in the nose at night for a month or so. Some ointments can be purchased without any prescription and are not very expensive also. These ointments can be applied inside the nose.

Unclear nose provides suitable conditions for the growth of Staph bacteria. A person should take proper precautions in case of cuts and wounds. If not taken proper measures the bacteria can enter the skin and cause infection. One should not pick the nose or scratch the skin during infection. Cleanliness can help in healing of the infection faster.

A boil is a skin infection caused by bacteria. The bacterium infects the skin, forms pus and a boil is seen on the skin. Slowly it grows in size and the affected area swells up and becomes red. It is painful and it also affects the appearance of a person.

Once a boil is seen it takes about one week to form a mouth through which pus drains out. Once the head is formed healing process becomes faster. There are several ways by which head is formed by it. One can give hot compress and apply ointments like black ointment which is safe and has relaxing effect. But at times in order to drain pus out people squeeze the boil which is very harmful.

If the boil forms head and pus drains out on its own it is the end of the infection. But if a person squeezes the boil many complications arise. Some of them are as follows:

1) First and foremost the infection is not cured.
2) It spreads to other parts of the face or body. The pus contains the infection so it can end up in more boils.
3) The pressure on boil because of squeezing can allow the bacteria to enter the blood stream. The infection can also spread into internal organs leading to serious health problems.
4) Squeezing the boil near the nose and mouth can be more harmful as the brain may be infected by the bacteria.

There are ample ways of safely treating a boil at home and if the infection still persists one can see a doctor but one should under no circumstances squeeze the boil. In order to heal the boil draining of pus is necessary and for this the boil needs to have a mouth or an opening.

This opening can be made by giving warm compresses. It gives an opening to the boil and allows the pus to drain itself. If the boil becomes bigger or does not have an opening one should immediately see a doctor.

A doctor can drain the pus from the boil by a minor surgery. But squeezing of boil should be avoided at any cost because it only leads to serious and risky health situations.

Staph or Staphylococcus is a bacterium which causes many infections in the human body. It is present on the surface of the skin and nose but it is harmless. It becomes harmful when it makes its way into the skin through cut and wound. The most common skin infection caused by Staph is boils. It is contagious and can spread from person to another. The infection can be treated at home but if there is no response then one must take medical help else it could lead to serious health situations.

The treatment of Staph infection depends upon the type of infection and how is the person treated. A boil takes 10 to 20 days to heal up but if treated properly then it can be treated in lesser time.

In order to drain the pus and give relaxation from pain warm compresses can be given. For warm compress one should mix Epsom salt in warm water and soak clean cloth in it and put the clean cloth on the affected area. This should be done several times a day and each time clean cloth should be used. The cloth should be cleaned and fully dried. One can also use a heating pad or a hot water bottle for 20 minutes. This can also be repeated three to four times a day.

Along with this one can also use some other home remedies. Garlic paste can be applied. Garlic and onion juice is also very effective in treating the infection. Aloe Vera also gives relaxing effect if one is suffering from the infection. Turmeric is also effective because of its antiseptic property. People even use tea tree oil and castor oil. All these help in healing up the infection.

Once the pus drains out it should be cleaned with antiseptic lotion and a cream should be applied and it should be covered with a bandage. But if the infection does not respond then one needs to take medical help and follow doctor’s advice. The doctor drains the pus by a minor surgery by applying local anesthesia on the affected area. They make a cut through which pus drains out. After draining the pus he cleans the area with an antibacterial cleanser and applies ointment and covers it with bandage. He changes the bandage from time to time. At times pain relievers are also prescribed by the doctor to reduce pain.
Apart from this one should follow cleanliness so that the spread of infection should be prevented. One should not touch the infected skin. If someone is suffering from infection then he should not share his towel, bed sheet or clothes till the infection is fully cured. Some good homeopathic treatments like boilx is also available in the market.

In this way by following few trusted home remedies and following rules of cleanliness one can treat staph infection.

The bacterial infection on the skin causes boil. Staph is the bacteria responsible for the boil. Staph is present on the surface of the skin and around the nose. These bacteria are harmless. They become harmful when they enter the body through cut or wound.

The boil is red in color and the affected part is swollen and filled with white and yellow fluid called pus. The pus that is formed inside the boil contains the infection. It is necessary for the pus to drain out to cure the boil. And for the draining of the pus the boil needs to form a head.

At times the boil forms a head by itself and the pus drains out. Sometimes by following few home remedies the boils forms a head which helps in the pus to drain out. These home remedies speed up the healing process. Warm compresses are very effective way of treating a boil. A soft clean cloth is dipped in warm saline water. This cloth is applied on the affected area. This helps in the formation of head and draining of pus thus curing the boil. The pus that drains out is highly infectious so it should be handled properly.

It should be cleaned by antibiotic lotion and a cream should be applied and the affected area and it should be covered by a bandage. Apart from this some herbs or spices can be used to make the healing process faster.

Garlic and onion are very effective because of their antibiotic property. They are antibacterial and antifungal. They cure the infection from the root thus stopping the boil from occurring again. Aloe vera can also be applied as it is also antibacterial. It has a soothing effect when applied. Tea tree oil and castor oil are also effective when applied on the affected area. Turmeric paste made by mixing turmeric in water also speeds up healing process. It is antiseptic in nature.

One should refer to a doctor if the boil does not respond to these treatments. The doctor can prescribe some medicines and surgically drain the boil. For the surgery local anesthesia is applied on the affected area. Then a cut is made on the swelling. This cut on the swelling acts as an opening through which pus drains out. After this the doctor cleans the affected area with an anti bacterial cleanser.

Then an antibiotic ointment is applied on it and it covered with a bandage. Doctor can prescribe some medicines also which should be taken regularly because they speed up the healing process. The patient should follow the advice of the doctor and do as directed. He should visit the doctor whenever doctor calls him to change the bandage. This is done till the time the boil is cured.

There are some other types of boils which are absorbed by the skin naturally. Some disappear after giving warm compresses and applying ointments on them. Therefore we can actually tell that a boil is healing when we see formation of head in the boil because this acts as an opening for the draining of pus.

How to Get Rid of Stapf Infection & Boils on Face

Staph infection on face causes red and painful swelling on face and results in emerging boil on the face. The bacteria responsible for these infections are Staphylococcus Aureus or Staph which is found almost everywhere including face. The boils on the face are a nightmare for almost everybody as they leave scar on the face which affects personal appearance of the individual. They can be cured easily at home but sometimes one needs to see a doctor. People of all age group are affected by the boil.

The boil should not be pressed or squeezed. It should be allowed to drain naturally. The best way to cure boil is by following few simple steps:

•	Warm compresses are very effective and safest way to cure boil.
•	To give warm compress Epsom salt is added to lukewarm water and clean cloth dipped in the water is applied on the affected area. This if done several times a day helps to form a head in the boil through which pus drains out.
•	Since it is caused due to bacterial infection therefore proper care should be taken else it can spread quickly and other family members can also be affected. After the pus drains out the wound should be covered with a bandage and an antiseptic cream should also be applied to it.
•	If the boil on the face is a large one the individual should take medical help in order to drain it. The doctor examines the boil. First he tries to make a mouth through which the pus would be squeezed out. He makes the area numb by giving local anesthesia so that the person does not experience pain. He uses sterilized instruments to make a cut on the boil and allow the pus to drain out. The draining of the pus is highly infectious and special care should be taken. The affected area and the nearby area should be cleaned by an antiseptic lotion. After cleaning it should be covered with a bandage. The doctor supervises the boil from time to time and changes the bandage.

Apart from these one should follow proper healthy habits. One should wash face with medicated soap at regular intervals and apply antiseptic lotion on the affected area. One should take proper care of the clothes and bed sheets of the person suffering from the infection. Such things should be washed in hot water and nobody else should use it. One should avoid going near children till one is fully cured.

Proper cleaning and cleansing of face on regular basis will help you get rid of face staph infection and will avoid its recurrence.

Along with this one should follow proper lifestyle and healthy diet which helps a person to stay away from such infections.
