social accountability and our premier approach to advocacy  at the community level.   CVA is growing substantially throughout the WV  Partnership with new designs, grant applications, and research projects  emerging several times every month. This position will supervise and  coordinate designs, grant applications, and research projects.  &lt;/span&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Gill Sans MT;"&gt;CVA is increasingly included in  bilateral and multilateral grants as a complementary element to health,  education, water and sanitation, or agriculture projects.  The position  will work with a variety of SO, NO, and RO stakeholders to ensure that  grant applications are coordinated to maximize value and reduce the risk  of duplicative activities.  The position will also ensure that these  applications reflect a sophisticated understanding of social  accountability and CVA.  &lt;/span&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Gill Sans MT;"&gt;In addition, the successful candidate  will coordinate a variety of research projects on CVA, identify new  research opportunities, and ensure that the learning from research is  reflected in new designs.  As coordinator of these research projects,  the successful candidate should be prepared to represent WV in important  debates and fora related to social accountability and advocacy.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Gill Sans MT;"&gt;The successful candidate will also  work with Regions to support National Offices to ensure that new LLA  project designs, especially ADP designs and redesigns, reflect the best  practice and lessons from the field. Coach and lead the QEOSH team at  bottling plants and optimize their activities so that they can  positively and significantly impact quality performance results.  Champion and support the bottling plants in order to accelerate the  QEOSH improvement in all its aspects, eliminating potential technical  business risks and achieving excellence in the bottling plants  processes. This includes understanding of Company and  regulatory guidelines.  &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Production Processes: Knowledge of syrup and beverage manufacturing  processes. The mine is currently mining at a depth of 747 metres using  mechanised trackless block-cave mining.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Senior C&amp;amp;I Technician&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In this role, the  incumbent will be required to maintain, service, repair, modify and  improve electronics, electrical and mechanical instruments and  communications within the mining and plant areas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Duties and responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Perform C&amp;amp;I-related activities on equipment/instruments and systems&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Benchmark, monitor and evaluate technology in order to ensure continuous improvement in the direct work environment&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Investigate and diagnose problems and breakdowns to determine resource requirements and order spares&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Maintain communication networks in accordance with Group standards&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Diagnose faults on industrial instrumentation and control equipment&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance work on all C&amp;amp;I equipment to comply with product technical specifications&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinate and monitor equipment availability to ensure adherence to production parameters&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Continuously analyse equipment efficiencies to recommend or implement improvements and changes in order to maximise operations&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Examine, test and repair control and instrumentation equipment in the Siemens PLC and Adroit SCADA environment&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Maintain instrumentation documentation&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Supervise and advise on the installation and maintenance of C&amp;amp;I equipment&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Plan extensions and modifications to the existing instrumentation infrastructure&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Attend to the relevant administrative functions, such as datapack (loop drawing) management and change control&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Install and modify new systems&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Plan and control the C&amp;amp;I budget&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Be responsible for Safety, Health and Environmental issues in the Section&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Plan and manage training for personnel in the Section&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Work according to the mine’s Code of Practice and report any observations of this not being done&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ensure personal and co-workers’ adherence to and compliance with Security and the Company’s SHE objectives.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Requirements:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Qualification as a Technician with a National Diploma through T3  with Instrumentation and Process Control, or S4 and P2 Process Control  Diploma&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A Trade Certificate and N6 with Instrumentation and Process Control&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A valid Code EB (08) Public Driver’s Licence&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Extensive knowledge of and full configuration and programming skills  in Siemens S5 and S7 PLC hardware and software and Adroit SCADA  software configuration&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Sound knowledge of computer systems and ethernet networks&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The ability to lead and guide a team.
