1. Shaking Browser Trick

This one is one of the funniest computer tricks I have learnt so far. Follow the steps below to learn this trick:

· Copy the Java code below,

2. Folder without A Name

Do you know that it is possible to create a folder without a name? Indeed, you can create a folder without any name at all! Follow the steps below to create a folder without any name:

· Firstly, remove the old name. (right click , rename and click delete)

· Then , press and hold down the ALT button and type 0160, then press Enter.

Important: Make sure you have switched on the number pad of your computer when you type "0160".

Important thing to notice: You should type the code 0160 by holding the Alt button. You must Hold down the ALT button. You must type the code by using the number pads. In some laptops the number pads are hidden and difficult to use. First turn on the number lock by using Fn+Nmlk and then type the code from the right hand side pad of your laptop. Do not use the horizontal number keys.

3. Increase your Computer Speed

This trick will help your computer work faster than ever before. To increase the speed of your computer, please follow the steps below:

· Go to start, click run and then type “regedit”

· Select "HKEY_CURRENT_USER”, then select control panel folder and after that select the desktop folder. Make sure you do it correctly.

· You will see "registry setting" on your right hand side. After, select "menu show delay”, then right click on it and select "modify".

· You will find "edit string option" where the "default value data is 400". Change the Value Data to 000.

· Restart you computer after completing the above process. You will notice a significant change in your computers’ speed!

4. Notepad Trick

Open notepad and type .LOG in capital letters and press ENTER. You can record the exact date and time by using this trick.

5. Reserved Keyword Trick

Do you know that it is not possible make a folder with the name "con”? No matter how many times you try to make a folder with the name "Con", you won't be able to do it.

The reason: Con is a "reserved keyword" used by DOS, so you can't create a folder with that keyword. However, there is a way to create a folder with the name “CON”. To do this, go to the command prompt and type "MD \\.\E:\CON” . This will create a folder named CON in the E drive of your Computer.

6. Strange Font

Open your notepad and increase the font size to 72, then change the font to Windings. Afterwards, type your name in capital letters. You’ll be surprised to see some peculiar symbols!

7. Desktop Wallpaper Prank

Take a screen shot of your desktop and then open the image and set it as your desktop background. Now, hide all the icons from your desktop. Also, unlock the task-bar. Now your desktop will look exactly the same as before, but all of the icons will not be clickable! This trick could easily confuse anyone and is a fun trick to play on some friends.

8. Microsoft Word Trick

Simply open up Microsoft Word and type =Rand (200, 99), then press enter. Hopefully you enjoy the magic!

4. Domain Tools

Domain Tools is a set of domain name search engines that will help you uncover relevant information about certain domain names. 5. Domize

Domize is a fast, Ajax-based search engine that you can use to rapidly check the availability of domains. Very convincing Galaxy Note 2 image leaks

A previously unseen image of the Galaxy Note II has just leaked, and this time we aren't dealing with a computer rendering, but a real photo. Of course, this doesn't mean that the device we see in the photo is indeed the Galaxy Note II, but it does look quite convincing.

Sadly, the tipster who leaked the photo has not shared any specific info regarding the specs of the upcoming device, although they have confirmed a display size of 5.5 inches. As you're probably aware, the Galaxy Note II is expected to feature the new quad-core Exynos processor found in the Galaxy S III, along with 2GB RAM and the improved S Pen stylus technology that we see in the Note 10.1 tablet.

Could this be the Samsung Galaxy Note II?

Truth be told, the device in this photo does bear some resemblance to the characteristic looks of the Note 10.1, which brings even more credibility to it. The front side is also quite similar to the one that surfaced a few days ago, although it certainly doesn't look identical.

The good thing is that we'll probably know everything we want to know about the Galaxy Note II soon enough, as Samsung is expected to announce the gigantic phone at its pre-IFA 2012 event on August 29.

Microsoft's feeling a little down if the latest Windows code-name rumour is true – we could be talking about Blue instead of Windows 9.

In fact, it may not even refer to Windows 9: Microsoft expert Mary-Jo Foley reckons that the company is moving away from major OS updates and instead focusing on smaller, more regular improvements.

So Blue could turn out to be Windows 8.5 or something similar and Foley's contacts tell her that it will land in the summer of 2013.

Even if Microsoft has only vaguely considered Blue as a codename, it's quite an interesting move for a company known for its blue screen of death.

In other Microsoft naming news, the Windows Phone and Windows 8-friendly Metro UI looks set to be known henceforth as Modern.

That's if you can believe what you read on a registration page for Windows 8 DevCamp, where it's referred to thusly.

Microsoft had to ditch Metro after a German firm that owns the Metro trademark threatened Microsoft with legal action.

It's not the best name we ever heard, but it's certainly a preferable alternative to the other options, which include "Windows 8-style UI", "New User Interface", "Windows 8 design" and "Windows 8 application".

Devs get their hands on all-but-complete version of next-gen OS

Microsoft has released a 90-day version of Windows 8 Enterprise for all users on the same day that the RTM went to its developer community.

Earlier on Wednesday, the company gave members of the Microsoft Developers Network (MSDN) and the TechNet subscriber community access to the Release To Manufacturers version.

This is the final version of the operating system before it is released to the public on October 26th and only features a few minor changes to the recent Release Preview.

For those outside of the elite group of developers - i.e. most of the population - the company has released a 90-day trial of the Enterprise version - which is the more business-centric version of the next-gen OS.

In order to immediately download the 90-day trial - which will need to be replaced with the final paid-for version of Windows 8 upon release - head over to the Windows 8 Dev Centre.

With the download, you'll get a copy of Live Studio 2012, which will help users run Metro (sorry, we know we're not supposed to call it that anymore) apps from the Windows 8 Store.

Both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 8 Enterprise are available to trial.

Use the Secret Send To Menu Items

When you right-click on any file or folder, you can use the Send To menu to create a zipped version, or send the file to an application, but in Windows 7 there are hidden items on the Send To menu that can't be seen by default.

All you have to do is hold down the Shift key, then right-click on a file and access the Send To folder—you'll see a whole bunch of new items in the list, like special folders, and even an item for each one of your drives. It's a really useful tip for quickly sending a file to the flash drive you just plugged into the PC, without having to do anything else.

It’s the 1970s. At work, we rely on typewriters. If we need to copy a document, we likely use a mimeograph or carbon paper. Few have heard of microcomputers, but two young computer enthusiasts, Bill Gates and Paul Allen, see that personal computing is a path to the future.

In 1975, Gates and Allen form a partnership called Microsoft. Like most start-ups, Microsoft begins small, but has a huge vision—a computer on every desktop and in every home. During the next years, Microsoftbegins to change the ways we work.

The dawn of MS‑DOS

In June 1980, Gates and Allen hire Gates’ former Harvard classmate Steve Ballmer to help run the company. The next month, IBM approaches Microsoft about a project code-named "Chess." In response, Microsoft focuses on a new operating system—the software that manages, or runs, the computer hardware and also serves to bridge the gap between the computer hardware and programs, such as a word processor. It’s the foundation on which computer programs can run. They name their new operating system "MS‑DOS."

When the IBM PC running MS‑DOS ships in 1981, it introduces a whole new language to the general public. Typing “C:” and various cryptic commands gradually becomes part of daily work. People discover the backslash (\) key.

MS‑DOS is effective, but also proves difficult to understand for many people. There has to be a better way to build an operating system.

Geek trivia: MS‑DOS stands for Microsoft Disk Operating System.

1982–1985: Introducing Windows 1.0

Microsoft works on the first version of a new operating system. Interface Manager is the code name and is considered as the final name, but Windows prevails because it best describes the boxes or computing “windows” that are fundamental to the new system. Windows is announced in 1983, but it takes a while to develop. Skeptics call it “vaporware.”

The fully-packagedWindows 1.0

On November 20, 1985, two years after the initial announcement, Microsoft shipsWindows 1.0. Now, rather than typing MS‑DOS commands, you just move a mouse to point and click your way through screens, or “windows.” Bill Gates says, “It is unique software designed for the serious PC user…”There are drop-down menus, scroll bars, icons, and dialog boxes that make programs easier to learn and use. On December 9, 1987 Microsoft releases Windows 2.0 with desktop icons and expanded memory. With improved graphics support, you can now overlap windows, control the screen layout, and use keyboard shortcuts to speed up your work. Some software developers write their first Windows–based programs for this release.

Windows 2.0

Windows 2.0 is designed for the Intel 286 processor. When the Intel 386 processor is released, Windows/386 soon follows to take advantage of its extended memory capabilities. Subsequent Windows releases continue to improve the speed, reliability, and usability of the PC.In 1988, Microsoft becomes the world’s largest PC software company based on sales. 1990–1994: Windows 3.0–Windows NT—Getting the graphics

On May 22, 1990, Microsoft announces Windows 3.0, followed shortly byWindows 3.1 in 1992. Taken together, they sell 10 million copies in their first 2 years, making this the most widely used Windows operating system yet. The scale of this success causes Microsoft to revise earlier plans. Virtual Memory improves visual graphics. In 1990 Windows starts to look like the versions to come.

Windows now has significantly better performance, advanced graphics with 16 colors, and improved icons. A new wave of 386 PCs helps drive the popularity of Windows 3.0. With full support for the Intel 386 processor, programs run noticeably faster. Program Manager, File Manager, and Print Manager arrive inWindows 3.0.

Yahoo's Axis offers visual results to search requests

Users can swipe through the visual previews when using touch screen devices

Yahoo has launched new search software which offers results as a swipeable string of webpage previews rather than a list of links.

Called Axis, the service is being released as an app for Apple's iPads and iPhones, and as a plug-in for web browsers.

It may help Yahoo combat the declining popularity of its search tools.

However, it will not be a money-spinner at launch since adverts are not included in the results.

Other innovations include:

A list of trending search topics when the service is activated
The ability to deduce which page previews are wanted and display them before the full query has been typed in
Different devices can share bookmarks, partly-completed searches and a customised home page
Social sharing options via Twitter, Pinterest and email

"By supercharging the browser with a visually rich search experience and seamlessly connecting that experience across all of your devices, we are delivering an experience that will change the game," blogged Yahoo's special products management director Ethan Batraski.

"We decided to remove all the noise so you can focus on what you really want."

The app is initially only available in the US, but will become available to France, the UK and some other markets by the end of the year.

Catching up

Recent data from digital analytics firm comScore suggested that in April, Yahoo sites accounted for just 13.5% of search queries in the US. Two years earlier the figure was 20.4%.

The web portal is also engaged in a tie-up with Microsoft's Bing search service, sharing its AdCenter technology.

But last month Yahoo's former chief executive admitted that the alliance was "not yet delivering" what had been expected.

Early reviews have praised Axis's design and the convenience of the service.

However, other attempts to introduce visual search results have failed to win much traction.

Oolone, Redz and Simploos already offer webpage previews as an alternative to links.

In some cases users can obtain all the information they need from the preview results

Bing also used to offer a "visual search" feature using its Searchlight technology offering tease image results, rather than webpage previews. However, it ditched the option because it was hardly used.

But one internet analyst told the BBC that Yahoo may have more success thanks to its focus on mobile devices.

"What is neat about this is that their user interface helps reinvent search by allowing people to swipe and flick through results," said Ian Maude from Enders Analysis.

"That takes advantage of the way they typically interact with their tablet and smartphone touch screens.

"I particularly like the visual aspect to it - for instance allowing you to preview the weather forecast without having to click through to the page selected."

Yahoo says it aims to add more features and release the app for other devices "in the coming future".

Microsoft opens up So.cl search result sharing network

Students are invited to build visual collages of their search results and share them with others

Microsoft has opened up its So.cl social networking service to the general public.

The website is designed to let users share and comment on interesting search results and connect with "like-minded" people.

It is targeted at students and had formerly been restricted to invitees at universities and schools in the US.

The service integrates with Facebook and is being pitched as an "experiment" rather than a rival to other networks.

Microsoft noted that the product was developed by its Fuse Labs unit as a "research project... focused on the future of social experiences and learning."

Members are invited to create "collages of content" using the firm's Bing search engine technology and external links which they can then share with others.

Users can then identify people who are interested in the same topics, monitor their associates' feeds and take part in "video parties" during which members watch online videos together, commenting on them via a chat function.

Members can sign in using their Facebook log-in details, but their So.cl activities do not show up on Facebook's pages unless the option is activated.

Quiet roll-out

The move to open up the service was taken over the weekend with little fanfare, prompting some analysts to speculate that Microsoft only had limited ambitions for the project.

So.cl lets users watch and comment on videos from YouTube and other sites at the same time

"The fact that So.cl is targeted at students echoes Facebook's beginnings and has made many assume it is a Facebook clone," said Eden Zoller, principal analyst at technology consultants Ovum.

Boosting Bing

Mr Zoller added that the project could also help Microsoft further improve Bing's search capabilities.
A study by Comscore suggested that Microsoft had a 15.4% share of the US search market in April compared with Google's 66.5% lead. Earlier surveys have suggested the gap is even wider in the UK and parts of Europe.
Earlier this month, Microsoft announced another tie-up with Facebook to integrate tips from the social network into Bing's results.
Users in the US are shown a new sidebar which identifies "friends" who can help answer queries based on topics they had "liked" or posted photos about.
Google has also shown interest in being able to use Facebook to improve its search results but has criticised the fact that the site has refused to sign a data-sharing agreement.

In a recent interview on the US network PBS, Google's chief executive Larry Page described the situation as "unfortunate" adding that "in general , I think we'd like to see content on the internet being made more open".

2) Multiple user login in yahoo Massager without any software or patch: You can login to to yahoo messenger with multiple user ID without any software or patch. You just have to do a simple Task. First click Start menu and then click run, then type regedit and then press enter. A box will appear now from the box navigate HKEY_CURRENT_USER , then from the list select SOFTWARE , then from the software select YAHOO , then from Yahoo select PAGER , then from Pager select TEST. Now right click on the TEST and then click Dword value. In the right side you will notice a new folder appears, Rename it as Plural. Then double click it then select decimal and give the value 1 in the value box and click OK. That's it now try to login in yahoo messenger with multiple ID. (you will find this tricks as the most useful trick )

3) Watch Star wars Movie in your PC : Do you know you can watch Star wars Text movie from your computer. To watch it click the start button then click Run . Type telnet in run. So first the folder then right click and click rename , remove the name (by backspace or delete button) , hold in that position. Be sure your numlock is on, if not then make it on. Now press and hold ALT button and type 0160 (remember you must have to hold ALT button and typw the code from the num pad must, it won't appear in the screen) . When you complete typing the code, release ALT and press enter . you will see a folder without no name. At first try it will be difficult for you to acquire the whole tricks but eventually you will get it right. So try , apology if i failed to make you understand .

Now the second part is easy, you just have to make the folder invisible. To do that select the folder, right click go to properties , click customize , then click Change icon and then you will find many icons available, slowly search for a icon that doesn't show, i mean an invisible icon totally blank, select and then apply .

Thats it, The invisible folder is ready, You can also make it invisible without removing the name. Then only name will appear without the folder

6. On-Screen Keyboard: Ohk this is the most simple trick, in fact it is not a trick. It's for those who yet hasn't heard about it. Sometimes you may need to type something urgently but if you found that your keyboard is not working what you will do? You simple just click Start, then clickall programs , then accessories , then accessibility and then click on-screen key board . Thats it, you can type through the mouse only.

7.Create Shutdown,log off, or hibernate shortcut key: Sometimes we get too lazy and we need some easier way to do our work. Lets create shortcut key to shutdown our computers. You can never have enough screen space. Instead of buying a larger computer monitor, you can buy an inexpensive second monitor or make use of a spare one and connect it to your computer (if you're using Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP)—instantly doubling your desktop space.

How to set up your second monitor

Connect the monitor cables

When you’re ready to connect the monitor cable to the connector on your computer, make sure the monitor is plugged in and turned on. Your computer should automatically detect the second monitor, although you may have to restart your computer first. If you’re using Windows XP, you’ll need to enable Dualview.

When your computer detects the monitor, it should also automatically detect and apply the display settings appropriate for the monitor.

Configure your displays

You may want to adjust display settings yourself, as described in the following articles.

The settings shown here are for Windows 7, but they are basically the same as those available for Windows Vista and Windows XP. If necessary, you can drag the monitor icons so that they are arranged in the same way as the monitors on your desk. ClickIdentify to verify which monitor is 1 and which monitor is 2. You’ll see the numbers appear on your monitors.

Under Multiple displays, you can also adjust what you see on the second monitor. You have the following choices:

Extend your displays. This spreads your desktop over both monitors and lets you drag items between the two screens. This is how most people use two monitors, and it's the default setting for desktop computers. After your monitor is set up, you can use your mouse to grab the title bar (the top portion) of a window and drag it to your new display. If a window does not move when you drag it, double-click the title bar first, and then drag it.
Duplicate your displays. This displays the same desktop on both monitors. For a laptop, this is the default setting. This is useful if you're giving a presentation with your laptop connected to a projector or large monitor.
Show your desktop on only one monitor. This is most commonly used with a laptop if you want to keep your laptop screen blank after you connect to a large desktop monitor.

When you disconnect the additional monitor, the original display settings are restored to your primary display. In addition, all open files and program windows are moved to the primary display. The next time that you connect the same monitor, the Windows operating system automatically applies the display settings that you used the last time that you connected this monitor.

Troubleshooting: Normally, the process of setting up and using a second monitor is seamless and automatic. However, because it involves hardware and software from multiple sources, you may need to troubleshoot problems and make adjustments. For example, if your computer fails to detect the second monitor, first make sure it’s plugged in and turned on, and then, in the display settings, click Detect. Or your computer might not support multiple displays. Visit Microsoft Update, click Custom, and install any available hardware updates. You may also need to visit your computer manufacturer's website to install an updated display driver. Or you may need to install an additional display adapter. Some of us Found a Virus problem in Which, In the XP u could not change the setting from "Do Not Show Hidden Folders" to "Show Hidden Folders"
When u change to "Do Not Show Hidden Folders" to "Show Hidden Folders" is Again turns into "Do Not Show"
So Friend! Here is the Solution.....
Follow the steps Baby!!!!
1. Go To... Start>run
2. Enter "regedit"
3. In The Registry editor Follow The Steps
hkey_local_machine>software>microsoft windows>currentversion>explorer>advanced>folder>hidden>showall
4. Now go to right side registry list checkedvalue double click 4 edit
5. chage vale data 1 close registry editor
