These are a MUST HAVE for coaching. My husband and I coach a U6 team and needed portable goals for practice. I bought this particular set based on customer reviews. We've used them now for 3 practices. The goals are easy to set up, easy to take down and easy to transport. One goal is enough for most U6 practice games, but having two allows us to set up the field for scrimmage or competitive practice games.

The quality is good. It was a nice surprise that the pegs are attached to the goal. No lost pegs!

I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 because of cost. Recreational soccer coaching is all volunteer, including cost of supplies. It was a lot to fork out for a first time coach. I'm glad I did - practice is much better with a goal.

Great goals, just a bit too small. these are great for practices with a kids soccer team or for fun games in the yard. For a team, they are a bit too small and the next size would probably be better, but all in all, these are great. Solid, secure and they live up to expectations.

This is a great ball with a very reasonable price! I primarily use it for freestyling. This ball's got great control and contact. It's very good for doing combo tricks! The only bad thing about it is that the ball was shipped deflated, so there were a few stretch marks when I inflated it. At first, I thought I ordered a size 1. Other than a few stretch marks, the ball was awesome. I would definitely recommend this ball! It also came with an Adidas plastic bag.

Background:
I have played soccer with the following setups:
Initially I organized pick up soccer games with cones, which lasted about a Month
PUGG 4FT Goals(blue ones) 2-3 Months
PUGG 6FT Goals(Yellow ones) 1 Year
Franklin 5x10FT Goals. Purchased Early July 2010

Pros:
1) Easy to Setup
2) Includes 2 goals and Carry Bag for Goals
3) Each Goal comes with 3 Stakes to hold the goal to the Ground. They also supply replacement stakes.
4) Super Light Weight ( under 3lbs guess??)

Cons:
1) Size. Its great for a quick pick up game. I have played upto 8v8 with these goals. But if any adult stands in front of the goal, it is very difficult to score.
2) Plastic Stakes break when stepped on, or pressed into the ground with feet. They warn against this.
3) Taking a full on hard shot by an adult, sometimes sends the goal flying, even when pegged into the ground.

I have used this with my U-12 team now for several weeks, and I have been very happy with the quality of this product. A coach for another team that I was working with had purchased a different set of pop-up goals from Agora that was an inferior product compared to this. The three stakes that come with each goal are each attached with a velcro strap so that you won't lose them, and there is a little pocket that you can slide each stake into so that it doesn't snag on anything. The goals take seconds to set up/tear down, and it is really easy to collapse the goals. You also get an extra set of three stakes, and the carrying case.

There are several types of portable goals out there, but these are the best. They are very well made and have withstood heavy use (hard kicks and kids being rough with them). The toughness of these goals is complimented nicely by the ease with which they can be set up and taken down. Finally, the bags they come with have a handy strap that makes carrying them very easy, which is important because you most likely will be carrying other stuff (soccer balls, cones, water bottles, etc.).

One final note, the zipper on one of my bags broke right away (the zipper is very important because it keeps the goal from falling out when carrying it in the bag). When I contacted PUGG directly ([...]), they replaced it for free (including shipping) right away. This is a excellent product from a company that provides excellent service. These goals are a little bit more than the competition, but they are worth the money.

Having coached over 15 years and a director of our soccer club, these fold up style goals have become invaluable during my training sessions when I first started to use them. I purchased a set of the Kwik Infinity Goals last fall, to use and compare to my excisting Pugg goals, and this is what I found. The Kwik Brand goals seemed superior and of higher quality. Namely with the Kwik goals, the two solid angles in front are reinforced, and the straps that hold the goal mouth from flaring out are designed to stay put (in the corners). With my Puggs those corners have lost their shape, and the straps slide away from the corners, because there is a flimsy plastic ring holding the straps in the corners, and those plastic rings tend to break off after awhile. I think part of the reason, the corners have lost their shape and rigidity, is because the Pugg goals are intended to be folded up in one direction (in order to preserve the shape), but often my players/kids are folding them up for... Some plastic spikes are cheap and will break easily when you put them into the ground. My only negative, and this is totally my fault, is that this is only one goal. I was expecting a pair, but considering the quality I will probably order another. It is fairly expensive for one goal. That is the only reason why I give it four stars.

First off, I play semi-pro soccer. So I know what a good ball should feel like. This is a good ball. We even used it in official league games. 15 dollars is an amazing price for this ball. The weight is good, the feel is good, it's durable, and if someone kicks it over the fence to the freeway, no problem. 15 dollars, isnt going to kill the team. It has taken a lot use and abuse, including being used in wet conditions and over a concrete deck. Us over the hill guys play pick up games during the good weather. I bring this ball with me to the games and it seems to be the favorite ball that we play with. I forgot it one time and had to listen to the complaining. It is easy to regulate the hardness of the ball with this one and no one wants to have any injuries so it works out great. Great traction too.

Overall great ball! I would definitely encourage every soccer player out there to buy this ball. It has a really nice design as well as great quality from the padding to the shine to the overall absorbing energy and shock when you go to kick it. I would recommend to buy at least 2 though, because you wont be able to put the Glider down!

i got the green and it just looks and feels amazing.. i like the soft feel and the grip. and then i kicked it as hard as i could and didnt hurt at all. this has great control and height in it... roughly and this can be kicked 40-50, maybe more, when dropping it from your hand.

This is a great ball at a good price. It looks really nice in all the colors available. On a scale of durability I give it about a 8.5/10. It stays round and it hasn't torn on me yet through hard use. This ball flys real nice. Also, this ball comes with Adidas' 2 year shape and stitching guarantee.

I ordered the size 3 ball in black with red stripes. I needed a size 3 for my youngest child. The black ball is very nice looking, but the picture displayed here does not properly depict it. In person, the ball is glossy. It looks like a matte finish in the picture, but it is not.

One of my other kids has a size 3 ball made by Joma. In comparing these balls, the Joma appears to be of much higher quality. I don't know how to explain it, but the materials just seem to be much better. The Adidas ball is also noticeably smaller than the Joma ball. One of these is obviously not the correct size, but I don't know which. The Joma ball was about the same price in a local soccer store. I didn't see this brand on Amazon.

If I had to make the purchase all over again, I would still get this Adidas ball. It is for a small child to take to soccer practice, so the quality is not really all that important. What I like about this ball is the unique color pattern... Read more
