Healthy Relationship With Food</title><description>I have tried &lt;em&gt;diet, after diet, after diet&lt;/em&gt;!!! Sure, if I'm motivated to &lt;strong&gt;lose weight&lt;/strong&gt;, anything will work at first. But, as usual, after roughly a week, I run screaming to the refrigerator with that starving, crazed look on my face that says, "Just let someone get in my way...I'll eat THEM and the refrigerator!"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Obviously, any &lt;em&gt;diet&lt;/em&gt; that will lead you to that ravenous state isn't one you should be on in the first place! I did, however, discover one &lt;strong&gt;weight loss plan&lt;/strong&gt; that is not only &lt;em&gt;easy&lt;/em&gt;, but it is one of the &lt;strong&gt;best&lt;/strong&gt; in teaching you how to &lt;em&gt;gain&lt;/em&gt; a permanent &lt;em&gt;lifestyle change&lt;/em&gt;. You will never have to say &lt;em&gt;diet&lt;/em&gt; again!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am in no way affiliated with this organization. So, you don't have to worry that I am feeding you a bunch of bologna, trying to sell you something. I am, however, someone who has struggled with her &lt;em&gt;weight&lt;/em&gt; her whole life.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I understand the frustration and pure H E double hockey stick, that comes with constantly fighting the &lt;strong&gt;gaining&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;em&gt;losing battle&lt;/em&gt; of fat. I feel as though I have found the answer to the &lt;strong&gt;battle of the bulge&lt;/strong&gt;, and am extremely excited to share the good news with everyone &lt;em&gt;struggling&lt;/em&gt; the way I have.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I sky rocketed to being 50 lbs. over-weight a few months back. Since joining online &lt;strong&gt;Weight Watchers&lt;/strong&gt;, I have dropped over 20 lbs. and am back into jeans that I haven't worn in a year. I still have a long way to go, but &lt;em&gt;Weight Watchers&lt;/em&gt; has given me the tools I need in order to be successful and &lt;em&gt;change&lt;/em&gt; my &lt;strong&gt;relationship with food&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is one of the &lt;em&gt;best weight loss programs&lt;/em&gt; I have ever tried. And believe me, I've tried just about all of them. It puts all of your &lt;strong&gt;food &lt;/strong&gt;choices into points instead of calories. You have a certain amount of points that you are allowed in any given day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Plus, you have an extra weekly allowance of points that you are able to use for special occasions, or you can divide them up for extra points every day. You never have to feel deprived, which is a big part of every failing &lt;em&gt;diet&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Everything you eat is calculated into points and then you add them to your daily &lt;em&gt;food&lt;/em&gt; diary. Having everything in a &lt;strong&gt;weight loss&lt;/strong&gt; diary causes you to be honest with yourself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It keeps you in check. It is so &lt;em&gt;easy&lt;/em&gt; to eat little things here and there, not realizing how many calories you have actually taken in. This way, it's on paper. You can't rationalize away fact.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They also have an online Community in which you can chat with others who are facing the same &lt;em&gt;struggles&lt;/em&gt; as you. They all give advice, and also offer fitness and &lt;strong&gt;weight loss&lt;/strong&gt; challenges for everyone who needs a motivational boost.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you have been tossing &lt;strong&gt;Weight Watchers&lt;/strong&gt; back and forth, wondering if you should give it a try, I say GO FOR IT!!! The &lt;em&gt;season&lt;/em&gt; that created the &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;couch potato&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;. It's the time of the year that most people seem to grow &lt;em&gt;couches&lt;/em&gt; out of their behinds and watch television for hours, shoveling highly processed, sugary &lt;em&gt;comfort foods&lt;/em&gt; into their pie hole without even realizing it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We tend to get lazy, and our &lt;strong&gt;months of weight loss efforts&lt;/strong&gt; slide to the back burner. When Summer arrives, we can't understand how all of our clothes magically shrunk in the closet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is vital, on our &lt;strong&gt;weight loss journey&lt;/strong&gt;, not to let these &lt;em&gt;months&lt;/em&gt; hinder us from our &lt;em&gt;goals&lt;/em&gt; and set us back. It's amazing how little time it takes to &lt;strong&gt;sabotage&lt;/strong&gt; everything we've worked so hard to achieve.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You can avoid the &lt;strong&gt;winter weight loss sabotage&lt;/strong&gt; by keeping &lt;em&gt;healthy foods&lt;/em&gt; in your cupboards and refrigerator. Keep stocked up on fruits and vegetables and try to limit fast food to once-a-never! If you absolutely must get fast food, most chains have &lt;em&gt;healthy options&lt;/em&gt; like salad, fruit, and grilled chicken.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have a very &lt;strong&gt;healthy&lt;/strong&gt;, inexpensive&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt; chili recipe&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; that I would like to share with all of you. Not only is it &lt;em&gt;healthy&lt;/em&gt;, but it is&lt;em&gt; &lt;/em&gt;delicious, filling, and perfect for warming any heart during the &lt;em&gt;cold months &lt;/em&gt;ahead.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Turkey &lt;em&gt;Chili Recipe&lt;/em&gt;:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2 lbs. white ground turkey - 97%-99% fat-free&lt;br /&gt;1 can tomato sauce 29oz.&lt;br /&gt;1 can Bush's red &lt;em&gt;chili&lt;/em&gt; beans in medium sauce 16oz.&lt;br /&gt;2 oz. whole wheat spaghetti&lt;br /&gt;1/8 c. Mexene&lt;strong&gt; Chili&lt;/strong&gt; Powder (no substitutes compare!)&lt;br /&gt;Salt&lt;br /&gt;Black Pepper&lt;br /&gt;Cayenne Pepper (optional)&lt;br /&gt;Jalapenos (optional)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Directions: Cook ground turkey thoroughly. Strain liquid. While the turkey is cooking in a large pot add tomato sauce. Fill tomato sauce can with water and add to pot. Add &lt;em&gt;chili&lt;/em&gt; beans. Fill bean can with water and add to pot. Bring to boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al-dente. Add strained ground turkey. Season to taste with Mexene &lt;strong&gt;Chili &lt;/strong&gt;powder, salt, black pepper, and Cayenne pepper. Add jalapenos if desired. If you add the jalapenos cook for about 10 minutes after adding them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I hope you all enjoy this &lt;strong&gt;recipe&lt;/strong&gt; as much as I do! Aside from all the &lt;strong&gt;temptation&lt;/strong&gt; we face from day to day, as women, we encounter the physical cravings caused by our hormones shifting from the dreaded &lt;strong&gt;PMS&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For me, two weeks before the infamous Aunt Flo comes to town, I experience severe&lt;em&gt; food cravings&lt;/em&gt; for cookies, chocolate cakes, french fries, chips, forks, shirts, shoes, people... okay, slight exaggeration, but you get the idea.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The &lt;em&gt;key to success&lt;/em&gt; through this expected, and usually unavoidable time is to be proactive instead of reactive. Keep a snack with you at all times, something salty and something sweet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I like to keep a &lt;strong&gt;Weight Watchers&lt;/strong&gt; chocolate cake and one serving of baked chips in my purse. I don't touch either snack unless&lt;em&gt; temptation&lt;/em&gt; strikes and I feel like I cannot &lt;em&gt;control myself&lt;/em&gt; any longer. Like when I'm at work and someone brings in a triple layer fudge cake.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chocolate is my absolute weakness during &lt;em&gt;PMS&lt;/em&gt;. And of course, the person who brings in this little goody always drags me by my hair and sticks my nose in it. Actually, I could be fifty feet away and smell it's chocolate yumminess!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is the time I will take out my one point &lt;em&gt;Weight Watchers&lt;/em&gt; chocolate cake, which for only being one point, is absolutely delicious, and eat it slowly, savoring the flavors. Much to my surprise, it's not so hard to deny the triple layer fudge cake and stay on track with my &lt;em&gt;goals&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My personal triumphs and failures have taught me to always keep track of every little bite. Having everything in a &lt;strong&gt;weight loss diary&lt;/strong&gt; causes me to be honest with myself. It keeps me in check. It is so easy to eat little things here and there, not realizing how many calories I have actually taken in.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My most recent&lt;em&gt; success&lt;/em&gt; has been by doing online &lt;strong&gt;Weight Watchers&lt;/strong&gt;. I am in no way affiliated with Weight Watchers. I have tried almost every &lt;em&gt;weight loss program&lt;/em&gt; out there, and &lt;strong&gt;Weight Watchers&lt;/strong&gt; has given me the tools to be&lt;em&gt; successful&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I sky rocketed to being 50 lbs.&lt;em&gt; over-weight&lt;/em&gt; a few months back. Since then, I have dropped 20 lbs. and am back into jeans that I haven't worn in a year. I still have a long way to go, but Weight Watchers has given me the tools I need in order to be &lt;em&gt;successful &lt;/em&gt;and change my relationship with food. Even during &lt;strong&gt;PMS.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have learned that setting daily &lt;strong&gt;goals &lt;/strong&gt;is key to&lt;em&gt; successful weight loss&lt;/em&gt;. Don't look into the future. When you look ahead and focus on all the weight you need to lose and how much time and sweat you will have to put into it, it can become extremely overwhelming and can suck all the motivation right out of you, causing you to give up hope before you even take the first steps to a healthy lifestyle - mind, body, and soul.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before you eat anything, you have to stop and ask yourself, "Am I truly hungry, or am I just eating because I am bored, lonely, depressed, tired, &lt;em&gt;PMS&lt;/em&gt;ing, etc.?" It takes discipline.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are such a blessed nation, in that, we have such an ample supply of food that we take it for granted. I came to the realization that my entire &lt;em&gt;life &lt;/em&gt;has been consumed by my &lt;em&gt;obsession&lt;/em&gt; with my physical appearance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since about sixteen, I have fought &lt;strong&gt;eating disorder&lt;/strong&gt; after &lt;em&gt;eating disorder&lt;/em&gt;. First &lt;em&gt;anorexia&lt;/em&gt;, then &lt;em&gt;compulsive eating and bulimia&lt;/em&gt;. I battled between the last two &lt;strong&gt;disorders&lt;/strong&gt; today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's a hard truth to admit. The truth leaves me in a very &lt;em&gt;vulnerable&lt;/em&gt; position. Many friends and family members may think differently of me after reading this story. However, I think the only way I am ever going to change is to admit I do have a problem.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;Denial &lt;/em&gt;is so much easier than coming to terms with an &lt;strong&gt;eating disorder&lt;/strong&gt;, or any other issue for that matter. I would tell myself that I don't have a problem; I only purge on occasion. Of course, no one with a normal relationship with food would feel so guilty after over-eating that they would run to the bathroom and do such a thing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I look back at all the wasted, unproductive time I have utilized planning my next &lt;strong&gt;diet&lt;/strong&gt;, &lt;em&gt;weight-loss goal&lt;/em&gt;, and exercise regime of which I rarely followed through with, and can't help but ask myself, "Is this how the rest of my &lt;em&gt;life&lt;/em&gt; is going to play out? Am I going to continue on this same path to self-destruction?"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can't bare to imagine life passing me by when I never gave myself a chance to actually live it! My soul cries out to think about waking up one morning to find myself seventy years old and still 30 pounds over-weight, still miserable and &lt;em&gt;obsessed&lt;/em&gt; with something so insignificant! Realizing that all was for nothing. What a sad future I have set before myself, or have I?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Part of the reason why I have started this blog is in hopes that maybe, through my struggles and triumphs, someone will read it who is going through similar battles and it will encourage them to keep fighting for the freedom that &lt;strong&gt;Christ &lt;/strong&gt;gave us on the cross. The freedom from the flesh that binds and controls us.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I gave my &lt;em&gt;life to Christ&lt;/em&gt; about two and a half years ago. Since then, He has broke the bond of &lt;em&gt;alcoholism&lt;/em&gt; in my life. I haven't touched a drop, nor do I plan to. I was, what Christians call, "on fire" for &lt;strong&gt;God&lt;/strong&gt; when I was first saved; however, since then, I have let the cares of the world choke the Word out of me like thorns.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I will continue to fight the good fight of &lt;strong&gt;faith&lt;/strong&gt;. I truly believe that the only true, permanent way to change is through renewing your mind in the Word of&lt;em&gt; God&lt;/em&gt;. Images of super &lt;em&gt;thin&lt;/em&gt; women glorified, &lt;strong&gt;diet&lt;/strong&gt; pill advertisements, and the next new &lt;em&gt;diet&lt;/em&gt; fad which promises super fast &lt;em&gt;weight loss&lt;/em&gt; results - obviously unhealthy, and usually a complete lie.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How has this world become so superficial? Surely we have turned into a people completely opposite of what&lt;em&gt; &lt;strong&gt;God&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/em&gt;intended, and how do we get back to where we should be?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was recently watching a popular &lt;em&gt;modeling&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;program&lt;/em&gt; which was basically representing &lt;em&gt;size zero &lt;/em&gt;as being the definition of beauty while any other size is considered "fat". Girls were being ridiculed for eating and putting on a couple of pounds and tormented into losing weight, even though they were at a &lt;strong&gt;healthy weight &lt;/strong&gt;range for their height, maybe even a little under.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What happened to being &lt;em&gt;healthy&lt;/em&gt;? Life is so precious and you only get one shot at it. Why would you want to cut it short just so someone can say, "Wow, you're thin. Good job!" There are people around the world &lt;em&gt;starving&lt;/em&gt; to death with no choice in the matter. I just wonder what exactly they think about us and our &lt;strong&gt;obsession&lt;/strong&gt; with being &lt;em&gt;thin&lt;/em&gt;. Better yet, I wonder what &lt;strong&gt;God &lt;/strong&gt;thinks about it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is &lt;strong&gt;beauty&lt;/strong&gt;? Is it a number on the &lt;em&gt;scale&lt;/em&gt;, a size smaller than nothing? When will we be &lt;em&gt;thin&lt;/em&gt; enough to be accepted into this generation of hypercritical, &lt;strong&gt;vanity&lt;/strong&gt;?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The truth of the matter is 99% of &lt;em&gt;models&lt;/em&gt; will tell you that they aren't &lt;strong&gt;thin&lt;/strong&gt; enough, nor are they ever happy with the way they look. The top performing bodybuilder will tell you that he/she needs to put on more muscle. Do we truly believe that there is a physical perfection that can actually be attained??? There isn't, and we are insane to be giving up our &lt;em&gt;health&lt;/em&gt; and ultimately our lives to try to achieve the unachievable. So again I ask, what is &lt;strong&gt;beauty&lt;/strong&gt;?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;God&lt;/strong&gt; defines &lt;em&gt;beauty &lt;/em&gt;in the size and content of the heart, not your pant size. How have we strayed so far from the truth? We want so deeply for people to &lt;em&gt;accept and love &lt;/em&gt;us that we will &lt;strong&gt;starve&lt;/strong&gt; our bodies from the very nutrition it needs for existence, and cause long-term &lt;em&gt;health issues&lt;/em&gt; such as &lt;strong&gt;infertility&lt;/strong&gt;! I can never have a child of my own, but at least I'm &lt;strong&gt;thin&lt;/strong&gt;!? Plus, having friends and family there to support and encourage you will give better odds in your &lt;em&gt;weight loss success&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is the case of: &lt;strong&gt;The PMSing Breakfast Burrito Nazi vs. The Ungrateful Burrito Rejecter!&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One seemingly normal morning, I get up and start getting ready for work. Oh boy, little did I know, but I was in for it now!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"You better get up here and eat this dang thing! I got up extra early and bought this for you!" You could see the smoke starting to roll out of her ears, though she held her same beautiful smile.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In retrospect, I should have just taken the dang thing and threw it in the trash, she would have never known, but of course, you never think until all is said and done! Plus, I hate to waste good food! Which is partly why I'm &lt;strong&gt;dieting&lt;/strong&gt; in the first place!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm feeling quite bad about having to tell my &lt;em&gt;friend&lt;/em&gt; no at this point. I knew her feelings were hurt, and I don't like being the cause of grief. All the while, trying my best to stick to the &lt;strong&gt;weight loss goals &lt;/strong&gt;I set for myself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is the best thing to do? Of course, I chose B.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dumb, Dumb, Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Walking up to the &lt;strong&gt;PMSing Breakfast Burrito Nazi &lt;/strong&gt;I said, "No thanks, I don't really like those. Plus, I brought my protein bar to eat when I get hungry." Quickly she replies, "What do you mean you don't like them? How could you not like them?!?! What's in them you don't like? You better eat it! Just scrape out what you don't like and eat the d*** thing!" Which, of course, means I would be eating a tortilla shell, since everything is just mashed together in burritos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"I can't believe you guys are sooooooooooo ungrateful that you would turn down my obvious kind gesture. Look at me! My feelings are hurt now. I'm going to make you all pay!!!" Okay, yeah, who pays? Of course, the close &lt;em&gt;friend&lt;/em&gt;, even though I was just one of 3 who declined the d*** burrito!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Okay, I know I shouldn't have, but when you have two irrational, &lt;strong&gt;PMS&lt;/strong&gt;ing women together, spit is bound to start flying! "I'm sorry I don't want your d*** &lt;em&gt;burrito&lt;/em&gt;! I don't like them, and I shouldn't have to feel bad because I don't. Could you please quit trying to guilt trip me into eating your stupid &lt;em&gt;breakfast burrito&lt;/em&gt;! It was very nice and thoughtful of you to get them for us, but we don't want it so there!"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Okay, a little harsh, but like I said, &lt;strong&gt;PMS&lt;/strong&gt; is why 60-70% of wars start!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Soon after the argument I felt completely guilty and apologized to my &lt;em&gt;friend&lt;/em&gt;. I told her that I was so sorry for talking to her in that manner, and raising my voice was uncalled for. She said, "Yeah what's got into you?!"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hmmm...not exactly the response I was looking for. :-) I thought she would say, yeah I'm sorry for making you feel bad for not wanting the burrito. Instead, it turns into yet another tense moment.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At that point I was so upset. Tears started shooting like &lt;em&gt;burrito&lt;/em&gt; bullets out of my eyes and I told my &lt;strong&gt;friend&lt;/strong&gt; how I had been going through a stressful six months and that I had put on 30 lbs., and I just wanted to finally be rid of my obsession with &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;losing weight&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;She started apologizing for making me feel bad and understood, finally, why I had to say no to her thoughtful offering. Why are so many women ashamed to admit what the &lt;em&gt;scale&lt;/em&gt; says?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No matter where you look, the &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;media &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;sends messages all around the clock that women are somehow not &lt;strong&gt;worth&lt;/strong&gt; while if they &lt;em&gt;weigh &lt;/em&gt;more than 100 pounds! "Did you see what she was wearing???" "Can you believe how much &lt;strong&gt;weight&lt;/strong&gt; that so-and-so has gained???"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Where did this superficiality sprout from??? I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of looking at all of the magazine covers and television icons who promote that sickly skinny is the way to be! Not only does it traumatize our youth, but it also sends the message that if you aren't skinny, you are no good, to women all over the world!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When I say that it traumatizes our youth, I am speaking from a first hand experience. I am a recovering anorexic, bulimic, and compulsive eater. I remember at the age of 13, turning on a movie with nudity, and having my first encounter with a movie exploiting women.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;She looked nothing like me nude. I remember feeling so ashamed of myself. I thought, "What's wrong with me? Am I some kind of freak?! If this is what women should look like, then what happened to me!?"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I became anorexic not long after. I am currently 27, and I still find myself struggling with fourteen-year-old delusions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I grew up with a mother that was constantly on a&lt;em&gt; diet&lt;/em&gt;. I remember so vividly how she would talk about how fat she was; she was &lt;strong&gt;ALWAYS&lt;/strong&gt; "on a &lt;em&gt;diet&lt;/em&gt;", yet I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. I picked up alot of her &lt;strong&gt;self esteem&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;em&gt;issues&lt;/em&gt;, but in no way do I blame her. She was a victim of child abuse, as was I, which is &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;linked&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; to &lt;em&gt;self&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;worth issues&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With all that aside, our &lt;strong&gt;weight&lt;/strong&gt; in no way should &lt;em&gt;link &lt;/em&gt;us to our &lt;strong&gt;self worth&lt;/strong&gt; or our personal &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;identity&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;! I am not a number on the &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;scale&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;!!!!!!! I am a beautiful, intelligent, loving woman who deserves nothing but respect and love from those I encounter and the people I love!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And this is how every woman in the world should feel! Do not let the world control how you think or how you feel about yourself! Don't let Hollywood, which is only about making money, control you like a puppet! It's easy to say okay it's time to &lt;strong&gt;lose weight&lt;/strong&gt; and then six hours later your finishing the crumbs off from a large bag of chips! I could almost swear that those naughty treats are calling my name!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well if this has happened to you, and I'm sure it has (especially if you are a woman!), then I'm going to share my &lt;strong&gt;sweet tooth attack&lt;/strong&gt; diet saving recipe! This recipe is so good it doesn't taste like it's &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;diet&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;. One serving of this cake is guaranteed to satisfy that &lt;em&gt;sweet tooth&lt;/em&gt; and keep you going strong on your &lt;em&gt;diet program&lt;/em&gt;!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#993399;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Guiltless Banana Split Cake&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(Okay, it's not completely guiltless. You can't sit and eat the entire 13/9 pan and then lick it clean and expect &lt;em&gt;weight loss&lt;/em&gt;!!!)&lt;br /&gt;Low-fat, Low-calorie, Low-sugar Recipe:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ingredients:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pillsbury 50% less sugar yellow cake mix&lt;br /&gt;1/3 c of no sugar added applesauce&lt;br /&gt;4 egg whites&lt;br /&gt;2 small boxes or 1 large box of sugar free, fat free instant banana cream pudding&lt;br /&gt;2 3/4 cups of skim milk&lt;br /&gt;1 large can of crushed pineapples in it's own juice&lt;br /&gt;3 large bananas&lt;br /&gt;2 small tubs or one large tub of lite whipped topping (can also use sugar free)&lt;br /&gt;maraschino cherries (optional) adds calories&lt;br /&gt;crushed pecans (optional) adds calories and fat&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Directions:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a large bowl make the cake mix using 1 1/4 cups of water, 1/3 c of no sugar added applesauce in place of the oil, and 4 egg whites in place of the 3 full eggs. Cook cake in a 13/9 cake pan following the directions on the box. Let cake cool completely. While cake is cooling, mix the 2 boxes of pudding with 2 3/4 cups of skim milk and put in refrigerator.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After cake is cool, spread the pudding evenly over the cake. Strain the pineapple of it's juice and spread it evenly over the pudding. Cover the entire surface of the cake with banana slices (goes on top of crushed pineapple). Finish by evenly spreading the lite whipped topping over the bananas and you're ready to go!!!
