This is the best Father Daughter Wedding Dance we have ever seen! Bride Ashley Richmond and her father David Sparks went all out with their dance and it was well choreographed. Their wedding dance video has since gone viral with over 1 million views. The father daughter duo are from Texas and practiced their dance 2 times a week for a month and a half.

We both had the idea to do something special for our wedding that made it "ours" but I didn't want to be over the top either.

I also hoped it would land us on the Today Show but we were eclipsed by Prince William and Kate who were married two weeks after us and overtook the news. Anyway, we tossed around a few ideas and because Dirty Bit had the solos, we thought it would work as an entrance.

Robert and Tamara are my cousins and like most of your couples, they really wanted to do something fun and different for their wedding. We practiced about 6 times over three weeks to get the dance down. We really didn't know if they were going to pull it off but they were naturals and got the moves pretty quick. Freddie and I have known each other since we were about 10 years old, we went to the same elementary school, middle school and high school but we never showed any interest in each other. Then 20 years later we saw each other at our 20Th high school reunion and it was love at first sight, it was like seeing each other for the first time. As we began to talk we found out that we had so much in common and to top it all off we found out that we had been living 15 miles from each for about 8 years. Somehow we never managed to run into each other but I truly believe that things happen the way they are supposed to happen and when they are supposed to happen. We have been inseparable ever since. The love we share is one of great beauty, the chemistry we have is one that we both dreamed of.

I actually came up with the idea to do the "surprise" dance for our first dance. I had been to several weddings and although the 1st dance seemed to be cute and romantic I always found it very boring to sit there and watch the bride and groom do their 1st dance. Dancing has always been one of the things I enjoy doing and it is a passion that I have. I take dance classes at one of the local gyms and I have pretty much been involved in dance since I was about 10 years old. Freddie is not a dancer, he basically has 2 left feet but he agreed to do it out of love. I choreographed the dance and I actually had to make a lot of changes to it to suit him and his abilities. It took him about 6 months to learn it and at times he tried to talk me out of it so I had to beg him and make a lot promises to him to get him to cooperate. Learning the dance together was very stressful but when we look back at the video we both laugh and smile; we are so glad that we did it, it was so much fun and our friends and family are still talking about it till this day. Only a couple of people knew it was going to happen, everyone else was totally surprised.

We were inspired by "evolution of dance" and watched many videos for ideas, we really enjoyed Brian and Katie's version. We are a couple who loves having fun and didn't want to have the "same old" wedding reception. We decided to surprise everyone with a dance inside our first dance that included our bridesmaids and groomsmen. Most of our bridal party was out of state so we choreographed it and then recorded the dance and sent it to them so they could learn it. We practiced it only once secretly on our wedding day in the tiny Brides room-this was so funny because we had to keep pausing the music and acting like nothing was going on when someone would open the door! The time we "performed" it was only the second time we had done it with the whole bridal party.

Groom Surprises Bride With Special Dance

We absolutely love it when our couples incorporate something different into their wedding day to make it uniquely them. Steven planned a surprise Jabbawockeez performance that he, his brother and best friend put on for Dawn and more than 500 of their closest friends and family during their wedding reception. We appreciate how much effort went into choreographing this piece and then how much nerve it took to actually get up there and make it happen. Being there to experience it live was magical. Dawn's face, as she was mesmerized by the talent that Steven has, that she never even realized in the 7 years they have been together, was priceless.

We knew that capturing their performance, and Dawn's reaction, with 3 cameras and various angles would enhance the finished piece and enable them to always have this moment in time to cherish as part of their wedding story. If you are planning on doing something different it's imperative to let your photography and cinematography team know so they can prepare to capture it in the best possible way. Aly & Josh's Evolution Dance

My husband and I put together this dance to surprise & entertain our guests, friends, and family. It was a hard year for a group of us, having lost a very dear friend, who was meant to be in our wedding party, so to bring everyone together and make them smile and laugh was really important to us. We had joked around about doing a special dance for almost a year of our engagement, about two months before the wedding we decided to go for it. My husband cut and sewed the music clips together, I choreographed the steps and was very surprised how fast my husband caught on, and everything came together.

We decided we would need to do the dance at least once a night *in my mother's living room* in order to remember it, but also to help us lose weight for our big day! I know I fell deeper in love through spending so much time dancing together, and he mentioned our bond growing more during that time too.

I have to thank my Mom, A LOT, for putting up with the loud music, repeating over and over, every night for two months, for allowing us to change her living room into a ballroom each night, as well as for her suggestions and guidance. She kept her promise and didn't slip our secret to anyone, not even my father, who was shocked at the wedding reception. I have to thank our friend Christine too for capturing the whole thing on video, unknowing what was to come.

We wanted to do something unique for our first dance while also trying to incorporate Ben's love of horror into our wedding. We came up with the idea of doing the Thriller dance at our wedding. We wanted to hire dancers and have them dress up as zombies. We originally thought it was a completely unique idea until we looked on YouTube and saw that quite a few people had done a Thriller first dance but no one had a whole group of makeup ridden zombies dancing with them. We decided it had to be done! It took some time, but we eventually found a great group of dancers from Millersville University to dance with us and a makeup artist that just happened to do bridal makeup and special effects makeup! We rehearsed with Unpredictable from Millersville University weekly for about 10 weeks before the wedding. Our makeup artist, Carmina Cristina, started the day doing all the bridal makeup for the bridal party and then went on to do the zombie makeup for our 8 dancers finishing up just in time for the dance! A Boston Massachusetts Couple got married in true Flash Mob style on December 12, 2010 in a Shopping Mall, The Shops At Prudential Center. Jon Kleiman and his wife, Caroline's wedding video has gone viral after being posted on YouTube on December 30, 2010. There were about 70 guests in the Mall Wedding which included family and friends of the couple. The wedding started out with the Flash Mob singing "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye which then went into dancing.

The shoppers and onlookers where surprised by this and soon joined in the celebration. The Bride spent $36 on her Dress and did her own hair and makeup. 5 Ways to Break In Your Wedding Shoes for Your First Dance

One of the biggest complaints we hear from bride’s after the wedding is that there wedding shoes really hurt. Even worse, some of the brides actually tripped on their shoes during their first dance. The main reason we found is that bride’s don’t break in their wedding shoes before their wedding. So, when they are walking down the aisle and dancing that first wedding dance, their feet start to feel really uncomfortable. So, we came up with 5 ways to break in your wedding shoes for your first dance.

1. Wear them around the house and to clean places: One key to breaking in your shoes is to wear them before the wedding. Most brides like to save them because they want everything to be fresh and new for the big day. This is definitely a mistake. By saving them, your feet don’t get used to the shoe. Most of the times, it takes at least 3 times before your feet feel more comfortable in new shoes. Each time, you must wear them for at least 2 hours for your feet to really get used to them. The first time you wear your wedding shoes, feel free to wear them for less than 2 hours, but the second and third time, wear them out for awhile. Also, if you are worried about getting them dirty, then only wear the shoes to a really clean place – either work, the mall or around the house. It is easy to wipe off a little dirt, but it will be hard to feel comfortable if you don’t wear them around first. Finally, wear them for at least 3 times if not more so your feet get used to them.

2. Practice dancing with them for your first dance: If you and your fiancé are taking dancing lessons, bring your bridal shoes to the lessons. Or, if you are learning a dance on your own, definitely practice with your shoes on. The feeling of dancing in heels versus your flip flops or flats will be entirely different. This way, you won’t trip or fall when you are dancing.

3. Add some shoe cushions: Another way to break in your shoes is to add some shoe cushions. After you wear them around for awhile, you will start to understand what hurts. Is it the heel that is too hard? Are the balls of your feet sliding around or feeling uncomfortable? Whatever the problem, shoe cushions will definitely help. Foot Petals actually sell a number of cushions specifically designed for high heels. Check out that line or any line in the shoe store that has some comfortable pads for your feet. Adding these to your shoes will give your feet long lasting comfort.

4. Stretch Your Shoes: One problem many people have is with the fit of the shoes. Sometimes, in the store, the shoes fit fine, but after a long day, your feet will start to swell and get bigger. When this happens, you will feel extremely uncomfortable. To prevent this, stretch out your shoes beforehand. Get a little bit of rubbing alcohol and put it on a cotton swab. Rub the inside area of the shoe where you want to stretch it and then put them on and wear them around the house for 15-20 minutes. If you want to stretch them even more, put on thin socks which will simulate your swollen feet. If this doesn’t work after 15 minutes, do the same process again in a few days. One or two times will work well and your feet will feel much better at the end of your wedding day.

5. Finally, if your feet still feel uncomfortable after 2-3 hours of wearing your shoes, then go out and buy a back-up pair of shoes to change into. If you have a long wedding dress, nobody will see the flip flops that you are wearing underneath. Or, just buy a more comfortable pair of shoes that don’t look as cute, but feel better. These will be great after you’ve taken your photos and just want to hang out and dance with your guests. You chose your bridal shoes to match your dress and look gorgeous on the wedding day. After the ceremony and pictures, you can feel free to relax a little with a more comfortable pair of shoes. Just one note – if you decide to do this, make sure your shoes are the same heel height as your bridal shoes. Otherwise, your dress will drag on the ground. So, look for a pair of 3 inch flip flops or wedge heels that are more comfortable on your feet.

The comfort of your wedding shoes is one of the last things brides think about, but one of the most important things to remember on the wedding day. You will be standing on your feet all day long so don’t forget to break the shoes in before you wear them.
