Six More Weeks of Winter?

Punxsutawney Phil, the world’s most famous groundhog, might have saw his shadow this morning– signaling six more weeks of winter– but with temperatures reaching 70 degrees today, it feels more like spring. So in celebration of these unusually warm temperatures we wanted to embody the spirit of spring! Think bright colors and floral patterns.

Here are some things we are looking forward to this spring!

Academy Award-Winning Set Designs

The 2012 Oscar nominations were announced yesterday and it seems that this year’s Academy Awards is shaping up to be quite a show! The red carpet is still a couple of weeks away so today we to focus on what goes into making these award-winning movies. The clothes, the set, cinematography all play an important role.

Casasugar recently had a great article on their site about decorating tips from Oscar-nominated films. Some of our favorite films featured are The Help, The Artist and War Horse.
