WHY GOING TO HEAVEN ?

Why going to Heaven? What shall we do there ? And why are those Christians really compelling some people to go there?

These might be some of those questions asked to a Bible study leader while walking along the streets and conducting Bible studies.

As for me, I may not be compelling you to go to Heaven, cause I wasn't there yet.
But the most important thing that you should know is, how could you escape from going to HELL ?

The Bible clearly says that:
"The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the
nations that forget God. (Psalms 9:17)

Maybe your answer is," I am not as wicked as those who were mentioned in the Bible and I did not forget God also!

But the Bible said, " For all have sinned and come short of the glory of
God."( Romans 3:23)
" There is none righteous, no not one. "
(Romans 3:10)
" For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth
good, and sinneth not." ( Ecclesiastes 7:20 )

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers,
and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have
their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death. "
( Revelations 21:8 )
The question is, did you not tell a lie even once ? So the liar shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death .

Now, are you willing to know how to escape from going there in HELL ?
The Bible said:

" How shall we escape, if we neglect so great
salvation; which at the first began to be spoken
by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them
that heard [him]; ( Hebrews 2:3 )

There is another thing that you should know, you should not only look for the way to escape but YOU NEED TO BE SAVED !
" Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is
none other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved. ( Acts 4:12)

"Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the
earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.
(Isaiah 45:22)

" He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him.
( John 3:36)

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he
that believeth not is condemned already, because
he hath not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God. ( John 3:18)

It is better for you to accept the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior and ask Him to forgive your sins and become one of His children .
"But as many as received him, to them gave he
power to become the sons of God, [even] to them
that believe on his name: ( John 1:12)

Some of the so called Christians are having fun looking for a church where they can be entertained, some are looking for honor, they wanted to be highly esteemed as far as their level of qualification in their community is concerned. Some of them want to be somebody and bossy !

LIFE HERE ON EARTH IS SO TEMPORAL

You might have everything in this world but you cannot argue that your life is too short and any moment you will die. And what if death comes quickly and knock on your doors, will you be able to stop it and say I won't like to die right now ? Maybe today you know already that you will surely die, it may not very soon, but do you know when will that moment comes?

(To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born and a time to die...Ecclesiastes 3:1-2)

And if you die right now, are you sure your soul will not go to hell ?

YOU KNOW YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:13).

Some people are falsely accusing us why we told them we're assured of going to heaven while still alive on earth. We told them so because it is written in the Bible and we believed what is written there.

Some of the so called christian people are adding the Word of God in the Bible even a single letter to their doctrinal belief. Like for example: The book of John chapter 3 verse 16. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." If you would imagine what letter they inserted, it's letter " N " because they don't believed the everlasting life has been given already to those who believed in Him ( Lord Jesus Christ ) so instead of EVERLASTING LIFE, it becomes NEVERLASTING LIFE.

Please try to think about this my friend... If you really believed in your heart what the Lord Jesus has done on the CROSS of CALVARY, you must repent of your sins right now and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, then you must know you have eternal life ... Thank you for your time for reading this...May the GRACE of God be upon you...

Bible Reading: JOHN 3: 1-10

“ YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN “
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. JOHN 3:7

Necodimus, a man of the Pharisees and a ruler of the Jews: came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that You did, except God be with him. v-1,2
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. v-3

Necodimus was bothered what Jesus said to him. That’s why he asked “how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? v- 4. He did not understand how to be born again” and even he was an educated man in Israel. So, it is no strange thing if somebody here do not understand also with regards to spiritual matters. Necodimus was just look like the Ethiopian eunuch, a man of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

While reading the portion of the Book of Isaiah the Prophet, he was asked by Philip if he understood what he has reading, he answered “And he said, How can I, except some men should guide me? (Acts 8:27-31).
Dear reader,you might be as one of them who don’t understand this yet and hopefully this time God will illumine your mind and give you understanding with regards to spiritual matters.

When Jesus said to Necodimus Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God, He was telling about the second birth of that same person. He’s not telling about physical birth but spiritual. He added on the 5th verse and He continued saying, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. and gave a sort of explanation on the 6th verse,”That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

Some of the so called Christians claimed that the water mentioned of Jesus here means water baptism, but according to Jesus statements He did not mentioned baptism on this verse but rather the flesh. The water He mentioned first was changed to flesh when He said that which is born of the flesh is flesh. As human beings we need to agree that we were born of water and our body has contained so much amount of water.

In medicine, body water is all of the water content of the human body. A significant fraction of the human body is water. Lean muscle tissue contains about 75% water by weight. Blood contains 95% water, body fat contains 14% water and bone has 22% water. Skin also contains much water. The human body is about 60% water in adult males and 55% in adult females. That’s why the water here is our flesh, our body and if you’ll insist that it means water baptism, I’m going to ask you which of the two comes first before you become a Christian ,( be baptized first then after baptism believe on the name of Jesus then you will be saved? ) So now we must agree that this water mentioned is our physical body.

When Jesus said Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. He means it is a must to be born for the second birth which is a spiritual birth and this will happen when we truly receive Jesus Christ as it is mentioned in the book of John chapter 1 verse 12 and 13.” But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. “ So the second birth or the spiritual birth will occur after receiving Jesus Christ. You’ll become the son or daughter of God.

This is what Jesus said you must be born again because you cannot enter into God’s Kingdom without your second birth which is a spiritual birth. “ In other words if you were born once you’ll die twice, but if you were born twice you’ll die only once.”

After truly receiving and believing in Him the Spirit of God,” In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”(Ephesians 1:13) You have now the everlasting life through Jesus Christ you had accepted and you will be spending your eternity to heaven after you’ll die here on earth. The book of 1st John chapter 5 verse 13 says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” And in the book of Romans chapter 8 verse 16 says” The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.”

My friend you must be born again, it is a must because our first birth which is our physical body cannot go to heaven for we were just came from the dust. As the Bible says, “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.(Genesis 3: 19 ) And in the book of 1st Corinthians chapter 15 verse 50 says, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

So my friend without the second birth happens in your life you will spend your eternity to Hell and that’s eternal also but not eternal life but eternal death. “ For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ( Romans 6:23 )

My friend I want you to know that I had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Savior on October 24,1982. How I wish before you leave this page you had already assured that you’re 100% sure you would go to heaven after this life on earth through the freely given gift of God ( Ephesians 2:8-9) in Jesus’ most precious name. Amen

JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Yes! Jesus Christ is the only way to go to heaven. He did not tell us I am one of the way, but I am the way. In the book of Acts 4:12 it says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. “

It was very long time ago, some 19years past, there was a young man, from Germany ask me; Pastor Bangonon, you told me that only Jesus is the way to go to heaven. How about those people died 100 years ago before Jesus came and died on Calvary’s cross? I answered him Yes! Only JESUS can save them if they had believed Him. He said but how? Then I let him read the Bible and help him locate those verses that could testify our claim about JESUS.” We read first Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

In this verse, the Seed of a Woman was no other but the Lord Jesus. Cain and Abel were the seed of Adam their father. Hopefully Eve was looking forward and presumed that her firstborn son was that prophesied seed, that’s why they called him Cain, and said I have gotten a man from the LORD. , but sad to know he’s a criminal. When we read the book of Exodus 12 from verse 5, on the first part says ,” Your lamb shall be without blemish. and in the last part of verse 11 says , it is the Lord’s Passover.
In these few verses typify the Lord Jesus Christ’s blood and His being without blemish, without spot and the LORD’S Passover. We can read at the book of Luke 22:1 says, “ Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. and in Luke 22:7 says,” Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. and in the book of 1Cor. 5:7 says, “ Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Hbr 9:22 and this was the blood of JESUS.

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us]. Hbr 9:12
For [it is] not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.Hbr 10:4
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Hbr 9:22
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, Hbr 10:19
I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour. Isa 43:11
So the believers before were looking forward for what the Lord Jesus Christ will do in the cross of Calvary. While we are now looking backward for what the Lord Jesus has done in the cross of Calvary. There is no other way to go to heaven. Only Jesus can make you enter into heaven.Receive Him now as your Lord and Savior before it’s too late. Just say this simple prayer heartily:

“ O God have mercy upon me a sinner. I want to accept Jesus in my heart. I want to let Him come in and rule as My Lord. Please forgive me for all my sins and iniquities. I believe that You died and rose again. Thank you Lord for saving my soul. Please guide me to be obedient unto You. In Jesus name’ Amen.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

THE SCRIPTURE

We believe that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God" (2 Timothy 3:16). We understand this to mean that the whole Bible is inspired, in that holy men of God "were moved by the Holy Spirit" (2 Peter 1:21) to write the very words of Scripture. We believe that this divine inspiration extends equally and fully to all parts of Scripture as it appeared in the original manuscripts. We believe that the whole Bible in those original manuscripts is, therefore, without error. We believe that all Scripture centers around the Lord Jesus Christ in His person, work, and in His first and second coming. Therefore, no portion of the Old Testament is properly read or understood until it leads to Christ. We also believe that all Scripture was designed for our practical instruction. (Luke 24:27, 44; John 5:39; Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 10:11; 2 Timothy 3:16)

THE TRIUNE GODHEAD

We believe in the one true and living God, the Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things. He is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable, and is revealed to us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

GOD THE FATHER

God, as Father, reigns over all of His universe with providential care. He is all-powerful, all-loving, all-knowing, and all-wise. He is fatherly in attitude toward all men but is Father, indeed, to those who have become children of God through Jesus Christ, who will deliver them into the Father’s hands. (Genesis 1:1; 1 Chronicles 29:10; Jeremiah 10:10; Matthew 6:9; Acts 1:7; Romans 8:14-15; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Corinthians 15: 24; Ephesians 4:6)

GOD THE SON:

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. He accomplished this redemption by voluntarily giving Himself as a sinless, substitutionary sacrifice on the cross, thereby satisfying God’s righteous judgment against sin. After substantiating the accomplishment of that redemption and justification by His bodily resurrection from the grave, He ascended to the right hand of His Father, where He intercedes on behalf of those who trust Him. (Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1, 2, 14, 18; Romans 3:24-26; Romans 8:3)

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT:

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Divine Person who convicts the world of sin (righteousness and judgment); that He alone brings new life to those who are spiritually dead; that He baptizes (or places) all believers into the one true Church, which is the Body of Christ; that He indwells them permanently, seals them unto the day of final redemption, bestows spiritual gifts upon them, and fills (controls) those who are yielding to Him. Every believer is called to live in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit so that he will not fulfill the lust of the flesh but will bear fruit to the glory of God. (John 3:3-8; 14:16-17; 16:7-11; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 13; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18)

CREATION

We believe that man was created directly by and in the image of God. We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, by direct act. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17

MAN

Although man was created in the image of God, he fell into sin and is lost. This is true of all men; and except a man be born again by the Holy Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (Genesis 1:26-27; John 3:3; Romans 3:10, 23)

The Devil - Satan

We believe that Satan is a person, the author of sin, and the reason for the fall of man, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal punishment in the lake of fire. (Matthew 4:1-3; Acts 5:3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10)

ATONEMENT FOR SIN

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe on Him are redeemed by His shed blood. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His ascension into heaven; He is our High Priest and Advocate. (John 1:1-3, 14; 3:1-7; Hebrews 10:4-14; 1 John 2:2)

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace. It cannot be gained or made more secure by meritorious works, but is freely bestowed upon all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. All who so trust the Savior are forgiven of their sins and born into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. (John 1:12; Acts 16:30-33; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-9; Titus 3:5 )

THE CHRISTIAN WALK

We believe that we have a holy calling to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, and so to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit in order that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The flesh is never eradicated in this life. Individuals must choose to keep the flesh in subjection to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, or it will surely manifest its presence in life and dishonor our Lord. (Romans 6:11-13; 8:2, 4, 12-13; Galatians 5:16-23; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 2:1-10; 1 Peter 1:14-16; 1 John 1:4-7; 3:5-9)

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Until the return of Christ, it is the Christian’s duty and privilege to seek the fulfillment of Christ's Great Commission and to minister in His name to a needy world. We are to be instruments of Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit ministers redemption and reconciliation in the world. (Matthew 25:31-46; 28:18-20)

A moment please” ! Don’t you know that our life is too short ? And any moment we may die? And if you happen to die right now, are you 100% sure that your soul would go to heaven ? Have you accepted already the most precious gift of God for all sinners in order for us to be saved and go to heaven through His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ? If not, please don’t waste your time! Accept Him (Jesus Christ ) right now as your LORD and Savior ( Please read John 1:12-13 )

You may say like this prayer heartily by faith ;

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

I am innocent.” He asked another who said, “I am not guilty, but am a
victim of false accusations.” The king proceeded to ask each man the same
question and each had a reason why he was innocent.

That is, until one man responded, “I am here because I deserve
to be here. I have sinned against my God and against my king.
And now I am paying the penalty.” The king stepped back and said,
“What are you doing here among so many honest men? Guards, release him at once!”
Not until we admit our sin . we cannot understand the real grace, mercy and the
forgiveness of the King. Bow before Him today and admit you are
a sinner and without Him, you will spend your eternity in Hell.

JESUS CHRIST is the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS!
He can forgive you right now! Accept Him NOW as your Lord
and Savior! LET HIM COME IN TO YOUR HEART!
