Vacation Bible School is Coming! It's that time of year again...VBS. We are going to Camp Discovery!!!! Everyone is welcome. We are looking for Camp Leaders, assistants, and all who want to have fun learning about God. Open to all ages!!!! It is July 26th -29th. From 6 pm- 8 pm. Dinner will not be served this year. Please join us here at BLC, Sunday, May 31st, at 7pm as we recreate those golden days of radio with, "GET IN TOUCH WITH GOD, TURN ON YOUR RADIO!" Out of Time Gospel Singers was formed nearly 10 years ago by Stephanie Pittman, Mike Simmons, and Cliff Chapman. Through the years they have performed locally for churches and senior living centers. Step back in time with us for this joyous program!
We Recycle! It’s so easy to help us reduce our garbage bill and improve the environment. We now have more blue Recycle Bins conveniently located throughout the building—please use them! All clean paper, cardboard, empty soda cans, empty water bottles and all other recyclable items must be put in a blue recycle bin. Please note that bottle caps are not recyclable and belong in the trash. Thank you for helping us get “greener!”

To make this flow smoothly, please take your place at the rail by first filling in at the middle and then extending to the ends of the rail. This will make for a smoother transition when coming down from the rail to return to your pews.

Peace Community Dinner:
Once again we will take our turn preparing and serving dinner at Peace Community Center this Tuesday, April 14th. Food preparation will begin around 3:00, then transporting the food, and serving at 5:30 p.m. Please help out with this ministry.
Beautiful Quilts for Sale:
Our quilters have been hard at work and will have lovely quilts for sale next Sunday. Remember they make wonderful gifts for ourselves or others!
Reusable Shopping Bags:
The FISH Food Bank has a need for reusable shopping bags or totes. If you find that you are one of those who has inadvertently collected more than you need, please bring them to church so the food bank truck and our volunteers can hand them out to those in need.
Evening Quilters:
The Evening Quilters will gather again this Tuesday, April 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. This new group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. All are welcome!

FISH Food Bank Our participation in the FISH Food Bank program is a great success and we have many grateful folks in our community. Grateful too are we for our dedicated volunteers. We have found that there is a real need for CAN OPENERS (manual, hand-held type). If you find extras in your kitchen drawers or you are willing to pick up a couple, please bring them to church so we can make them available to those in need.

Property Committee Meeting The next Property Committee Meeting is this Saturday, February 7th at 9:30 a.m. The meetings are held the first Saturday of each month.
Work Parties The next Work Party is scheduled on Saturday, February 21st at 9:00 a.m. Our big building provides many opportunities for you to lend a hand in caring for it. Please come and help to lighten the burden which often falls on the shoulders of very few! Future Work Parties are scheduled on May 9th, August 8th and November 14th.

Annual Congregational Meeting The 2015 Annual Meeting of the Congregation will be held today. Please plan to attend this most important meeting. Your votes and your opinions are vital to the good health of your church. If you have not already done so, please pick up a copy of the 2014 Annual Report. 2015 Election Ballots will be available in Fellowship Hall. Following the worship service, we will have a time of fellowship and munchies with the 2015 Annual Congregational Meeting beginning promptly at noon.
Please Pick Up Your Giving Statement To insure the deductibility of your contributions, please do not file your 2014 income tax return until you have received a written acknowledgement of your contributions from the church. You may lose a deduction for some contributions if you file your return before receiving this written acknowledgement of your contributions.
Your Giving Statements are on the table in the back of the sanctuary. If you have not picked them up by January 28th they will be mailed to you. If you have any questions or do not find your statement please contact the Bookkeeper.
