You would have to process them in the canner for the same length of time. It might cook the chicken to dust, but you never know until you try. It might turn out delicious!

I'd like to can whole chickens and remove the chicken from the bones by boiling them first and then canning them in the broth. Does this over cook the chicken? how long would do they need to be in the pressure cooker?

You would just restart the canner, starting over with your processing time.

My canner didn't seal correctly, so I let it drop to zero, released the pressure, removed the lid, all my jars sealed when the cool temp entered the canner .... do I need to break the seal on the jars, and re-start the canning process, or can I leave them as is and restart?

Hi webmaster - This is by far the best looking site I’ve seen. It was completely easy to navigate and it was easy to look for the information I needed. Fantastic layout and great content! Every site should have that. Awesome job
