Beyonce Shocked by Surrogacy Rumours

Beyonce Knowles has dismissed speculation she secretly used a surrogate for her first daughter with husband Jay-Z, branding the rumours "crazy."

The pop star gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January but during her pregnancy, she faced gossip about whether she really was expecting after her stomach appeared to fold inwards during a TV interview.

It prompted rumours the superstar couple was using a secret surrogate mum to carry their child and that Beyonce was wearing a prosthetic baby bump to fake her pregnancy.

The gossip shocked Knowles, who tells People magazine, "That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy. Where did they come up with this?"

Beyonce's mother Tina was also left fuming over the rumours, adding, "I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumours. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous."

Beyonce beat out Kelly Rowland and Mary J. Blige in the Female R&B/Soul Artist category at the 2011 American Music Awards, winning the most fan votes to earn her the Favorite title. Robin Thicke and British songstress Ellie Goulding presented the award, but Beyonce wasn’t in there to accept in person.

Although Beyonce couldn’t be there because she is currently promoting her "Live at Roseland" concert film in New York City, she sent a video message to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. She sounded humble as she said, “Thank you very, very much. I’m so excited about this award because it was voted by all of my fans and I have the best fans in the world. You guys are actually the only people I want to thank.”

Beyonce definitely deserves this award, as she released her album "4" this year and has been performing and working on numerous other projects while carrying her first child with husband Jay-Z. Despite her busy schedule, Beyonce is nothing but thankful for her success. She closed her speech with this sweet little message: “I wish I could be there and I hope you guys enjoy your evening.”

Beyonce is nominated in five categories at this year’s Soul Train Awards.

Beyonce is up for Record of the Year (”Best Thing I Never Had”), Best Dance Performance (”Run the World [Girls]“), Album of the Year (4), and Best Female R&B/Soul Artist.

The 2011 Soul Train Awards tapes November 17 in Atlanta and will air on Centric and BET November 27.

The most unexpected moment at the Video Music Awards came courtesy of Beyoncé Knowles, who not so subtly announced to the world that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child.

When she unbuttoned her sparkly jacket and rubbed her belly with a knowing smile, after which the camera panned to a visibly elated Jay-Z and Kanye West cheering from the audience, the Nokia Theatre was bursting with warm and fuzzy well-wishes for the soon-to-be parents. And that very public moment of celebration was just the beginning.

When Beyoncé returned backstage to her dressing room, she was greeted by a team of people who enveloped the visibly happy star with hugs, cheers and congratulations.

"I'm free!" she said to one of the well-wishers, indicating that she and Jay are thrilled to not have to keep such a big secret any longer. "We're all free!" she said to the group.

A few minutes after her arrival backstage, she was joined by her husband, a very excited West (whose first words upon entering the dressing-room area were "Where is Beyoncé?" as if he could not wait to give her a huge hug) and her former Destiny's Child ladies, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Even with the doors to their dressing rooms closed, the applause and whoops of joy could be heard everywhere backstage.

"That was an eventful night, to say the least," Jay, still smiling, said to some of the revelers in the hallway, who continued to shower him with congratulations and hugs.

Beyonce Calls 'A Star Is Born 'Her "Biggest Opportunity"

Beyoncé has recently scored the lead role in Clint Eastwood's remake of "A Star Is Born," an opportunity she calls "the biggest opportunity of my life."

Speaking with Reuters, B opened up about the iconic movie role (previously played by Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland), sharing her nervousness about the first time she met Clint Eastwood.

"I met with Clint and I was so nervous and I know that it is the biggest opportunity of my life," she said. "I will work as hard as I can, because I can't wait. And I am so happy that he trusts me and I am in good hands and I am so fortunate."

Her resume is filled with singing-superstar roles in flicks like "Dreamgirls," "Cadillac Records" and "The Fighting Temptations," so she won't be straying too far from familiar territory with "A Star Is Born." However, after years of watching earlier versions of the film, the big-voiced diva said she understands she has big shoes to fill.

"It's when I became a fan of Barbra Streisand's. And I then saw Judy Garland's version of 'A Star Is Born,' and I realized every 20 to 30 years, a new star is born and a new talent represents that generation and era — so I didn't think that I would ever get the opportunity to be the star," she explained.

There's still no confirmation on which actor will play opposite the singer, but it has been rumored that Leonardo DiCaprio may snag the role for the Warner Bros. film. Shooting is set to begin at the end of the year.

Beyoncé’s fiery return to mainstream pop music this year has been hard to ignore. From her performance during Oprah’s farewell blowout to her American Idol finale showstoppers, she’s everywhere.

Beyoncé changes things up for her 4th solo studio album. While most of her previous efforts have usually maintained a balance between strong ballads and instant club classics, the “Single Ladies” singer takes some time to slow things down for this album and returns to a soulful R&B sound. However, don’t think this diva still can’t tear up a good dance track. The last song on the album reminds us “who runs the world.”

Beyonce continues to shoot her new music video in Los Angeles. The 29-year-old entertainer wore a bright yellow dress paired with black knee-high boots.

Yesterday, Beyonce was spotted wearing a gold crown and waving a red flag while on the set of her video shoot. Francis Lawrence is said to be the director of the video clip, while Frank Gatson is doing the choreography.

Beyonce’s Father Upset After Being Dropped as Her Manager

News released on Monday, March 28 from Beyonce’s publicist confirmed that the singer will no longer be managed by her father, Mathew Knowles. Knowles has managed his daughter since the late 1990s when she came onto the music scene with Destiny’s Child. Reasons have not been given, but Knowles claimed the decision was mutual with his daughter. Recent word has been however, that Knowles is very upset about losing his job as her manager.

A source close to the family commented on Knowles’s remarks, saying, “These statements are all about saving face — for Matthew.” The source also claimed that the decision was supported by Beyonce’s rapper and husband, Jay-Z. It is rumored that Beyonce will now put her career in the hands of her husband’s management company at Roc Nation.

The AssociatedPress reports that Beyonce has released a statement about the decision to part ways with her father, saying, "I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps."

Beyonce Headlining Glastonbury Music Festival

Beyonce has been confirmed as one of the headline acts for Glastonbury 2011. Other headliners are U2 and Coldplay.

She is expected to play a one and a half hour set on the last day of the three day festival. The announcement continues the trend of festival organisers away from rock and towards other popular music forms.

It may be a somewhat controversial move, as was the performance of her husband Jay-Z in 2008. Many fans were upset that a rap artist had been chosen to head Glastonbury and Jay-Z was even criticised by Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

Jay-Z responded by opening his set with a reworking of the Oasis classic Wonderwall, which was blended with his own 99 problems.

Now it will be Beyonce’s turn to try and win over the Pyramid stage. She said: "This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there. Just the thought of that huge audience gets me pumped up.”

Glastonbury takes places in the county of Somerset between June 22 and June 26. Tickets sold out long ago in October 2010 in the short space of just four hours.

Beyonce looked glamorous on Sunday, February 13 in black as she greeted fellow Grammy Awards attendees including Gwyneth Paltrow, Usher and Janelle Monae.

Beyonce was up for two Grammy awards this year for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her single “Halo" and for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” - which she is featured in.

Unfortunately, Beyonce didn't win either, after taking home multiple trophies the previous year.

Beyonce and Clint Eastwood Might Make Film Together

Acclaimed movie director Clint Eastwood and singer Beyonce Knowles may team up in a remake of "A Star Is Born," a Warner Bros. official said. Eastwood, known for his tough portrayals, is in talks to direct the 1937 classic, a Warner Bros. spokeswoman said. Knowles is in negotiations to star in the film.

There has been no date set for the launch of the movie which examines the relationship between a Hollywood star and an older aging actor. In 1937, Janet Gaynor and Fredric March starred in the original film. Judy Garland and James Mason starred in a remake in 1954. Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson starred in yet another remake in 1976.

Beyonce has starred in movies including "Dreamgirls" in 2006 and portrayed legendary singer Etta James in the 2008 film "Cadillac Records.

Beyonce Thanksgiving Prime-Time Special To Air on ABC

This will mark the second straight year Beyonce will appear on ABC on Thanksgiving.

For the second consecutive year, Beyonce will appear for an ABC prime-time special. This year, her "Beyonce's I Am ... World Tour" will be the highlight of the special.

It will air on November 25 at 9:30pm and will consist of an assortment of clips from the tour, and backstage footage of the star.

With Beyonce's husband Jay-Z and fellow rapper Kanye West slated to make appearances, ABC expects to treat viewers to a highly visual act "complicated by a performer who will tolerate nothing less than perfection."

Beyonce looks set to be releasing her new single soon, and those working with the singer seem to be excited about her latest piece of work, and are speaking very highly in anticipation for its release. A twitter by producer Los Da Mystro, who had his hand on Beyonce’s hit single “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”, says that the public can expect the song to hit the airwaves soon.

“Listening to New B record Dream wrote…F**KINg INSANE! WOw!! She About to Kill the game again! Had to Listen again!! Yall C in 3 weeks!” he tweeted. “Thats what they sayn now.. But it is the music Business. could b sooner r lata..”

One of the artists working on her upcoming project, Ne-Yo, was very enthusuastic about the upcoming release from Beyonce. Ne-Yo said of Beyonce - “She’s an artist that knows exactly what she wants to do. She’s going to give you directions [like] ‘Here’s where I’m going, so here’s where I need you to be’,” he explained of the creative process of the album.

Beyonce Admits Her Worst Habit

Beyonce almost seems too good to be true, but the music star does have some bad habits, one in particular that she’s trying very hard to change.

She admits that she’s very messy sometimes, leaving her clothes all over the place more often than she should.

But at least she’s aware of this bad habit: “I promise I’m working on this, but I could be less messy at home and keep the clothes in my closet and off the floor!”

Those are probably some pretty nice outfits thrown on the floor. Hopefully husband Jay-Z doesn’t mind her clothes being left all around their home :)

The Forbes' Celebrity 100 Power List has published their annual rankings.

It ranks the most powerful celebrities as measured by 12 months of entertainment-related earnings; media visibility in print, on TV, on radio and online; and social media presence. That last measure - Twitter and Facebook - is new this year.

Lady Gaga was a newcomer who surprised some people. However, she definitely knows how to work her product placement - especially when she's paired with Beyoncé, as in their "Telephone" and "Videophone" efforts.

The other newcomers to the annual list, in order of appearance, are the Black Eyed Peas, Pink, soccer's Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Pattinson, Conan O'Brien, Kristen Stewart, Robert Downey Jr., Lil Wayne, Akon, Kate Hudson and Chelsea Handler. Man Sues Beyonce; Claims Video Shoot Trespassing

A man living across from a video shoot for Beyonce Knowles in the Hollywood Hills is suing the singer for nuisance and trespassing, claiming his privacy was invaded by unnecessary noise and crowds.

Court documents show Philip Markowitz filed the lawsuit seeking $25,000 on Friday, May 28 in Los Angeles against Knowles, a liability company and Dina Ciccotello, a production co-ordinator for the video shoot for song "Why Don't You Love Me."

Markowitz claims his expectations of privacy in his upscale neighbourhood were "shattered" on March 26 when the crew came in the morning and didn't leave until 11 p.m., and that his driveway was repeatedly blocked.

Beyoncé Knowles’ mother Tina finds it “exhausting” trying to protect the star from the harsh realities of fame.

Tina Knowles enjoys a close bond with her superstar daughter and the pair run a fashion house together. Tina is fiercely protective of Beyoncé and her younger sister, songwriter Solange Knowles. She finds it hard to cope when her daughters are followed by paparazzi or publicly criticised, but she does her best to keep her family out of the spotlight.

"Hearing untrue rumours and protecting them from the negative side of the entertainment industry is the biggest challenge," she said recently. "I am very fortunate that I have such close relationships with both of my daughters. I not only enjoy a really great friendship with both my girls, but also a close mother-daughter bond as well. I have always tried to be as open and honest as possible with the girls growing up. I let them know they could always come to me with anything - and I would be there to support them."

Raising two famous daughters has been a challenge, but Tina is proud of how they conduct themselves and inspire their fans,

"The amazing memories I have of them as children and watching them become who they are today truly outweigh any disagreements we may have had - and every family has them!" she said. "But there were never any serious difficulties with my girls. We always kept them well-protected and maintained family as a priority in our lives."

Beyonce to take on Jay-Z & Lily Allen at Connect 4

Hip-Hopstars are usually addicted to bling, but it seems they now have a far less costly obsession - Connect 4.

Jay-Z is a huge fan of the four-in-a-row game and has organized a backstage tournament to take on his co-headliners, Lily Allen and Mr Hudson, at this summer's Wireless Festival. But insiders reckon that the favorite to win is Beyonce.

She first showed her class at the opening of her Jay-Z's Vegas club 40/40 where she beat Kanye West nine times in a row.

And now she's got Britain's pop stars in her sights. Mr Hudson tells us: "Beyonce is one of the finest Connect 4 players around..." "Kanye is a big fan of the game as well, but grown men have been known to shiver when they hear the name 'Beyonce' and 'Connect 4' in the same sentence."

Beyonce Sets a Grammy Record

As Beyonce received her sixth Grammy Award on Sunday, February 1/10 - shes also went in to the record books. No female artist had ever won six awards on one Grammy night until Beyonce did it. Consequently, she has been labelled the best female singer in the world this decade.

Even in winning the six awards and ending up in the record books, Beyonce was just breaking another of her records. She held the records of winning five awards in one night with five other singers in the Grammy Awards. This was considered the world’s greatest honour in music.

The album that has delivered the wins for Beyonce, "I am Sasha Fierce", which, even before the nominations was touted a masterpiece by music critics, grabbed the best contemporary R&B album award. The single, Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), went on to win song of the year, best vocal performance and best R&B song. The other singles, At Last and Halo, were also winners.

Beyonce was born in Texas, US, in 1981. Attending a performing arts school gave her a firm foundation as a performing artiste. He star started rising as a child, as she excelled in singing and dancing competitions at a very early age.

Her father Mathew Knowles was a professional record manager, and together with the mother Tina, a stylist, he played a crucial role in getting their daughter to pursue music. Beyonce thrust to fame with her friends Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, Letoya Luckett and Michelle Williams, with whom she formed the group, Destiny’s Child.

However, it took them four years on the road as just another group before they were signed by Columbia Records in 1997. That very year, they recorded a single, Killing Time, for the film, Men in Black. The film, featuring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, went on to be a huge success, and so did the Destiny’s Child music career.

Their second album

Their second album, Writing on the Wall, which contained songs such as Bills, Bills and Say My Name, cemented their place as the top girls group in the US. However, internal wrangles saw two of the members drop, leaving only Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle by the time they were releasing their third album, Survivor.

Throughout their career, the group released four studio albums and achieved four US No. 1 singles. They had sold more than 50 million records worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling recording artistes in the US. American Billboard magazine ranks the group one of the greatest musical trios of all time, and inducted the group in 2008 into the All-Time Hot 100 Artistes.

By 2002, the trio were all working on solo projects, and this saw Beyonce record her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, in 2003. This outshone the other two. Notably, one of the songs, Crazy in Love, featured rapper Jay-Z with whom she went on to have an affair.

During Destiny’s Child’s turmoil in 2000, Knowles had admitted in December 2006 that she had experienced depression from an accumulation of struggles — the publicised split of LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson being publicly attacked by the media and critics and blogs for causing the split-up with longstanding boy-friend, Jay-Z, that she had dated from age 12 to 19.

In 2005, rumours began to spread about the couple’s marriage. Beyonce closed the speculation, stating that she and Jay-Z were not even engaged. However, on April 4, 2008, she and Jay-Z were married in New York City.

Beyonce finally revealed their marriage through an opening montage video at the listening party for I Am... Sasha Fierce in Manhattan’s Sony Club. I am…Sasha Fierce is her third solo album after Destiny’s Child’s break-up. The other, Dangerously in Love, became the most successful album in 2003. Another, B’ Day, also topped charts when it was released.

Beyonce has also found some fame on the screen, starting 2001 when she appeared in the musical film carmen, The Hip Opera. Her first lead role, however, came in 2006 in Dream Girls, which won her two Golden Globe nominations. The songbird has also spread her wings into business, running a family fashion line, House of Dereon.

Superstardom comes with endorsement, and Beyonce has had her fair share, including endorsing multinational brands such as Pepsi, L’Oreal, Armani and Tommy Hilfiger. In 2009, Forbes listed Beyonce fourth on its list of the 100 most powerful and influential celebrities in the world, third on its list of the top-grossing musicians and No. 1 on the list of top best paid celebs under 30 with more than $87 million in earnings between 2008 and 2009.

Beyonce Plans To Take a Break in 2010

Beyonce hopes to spend a large part of 2010 not working.

"It's definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries," says Beyoncé, 28. "I'd like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again."

Not that Beyoncé won't be visible in the coming months. She shot a pair of commercials for the Nintendo video game Style Savvy, which is introducing items from Deréon, a casual lifestyle extension of the House of Deréon line that Beyoncé created with longtime fashion adviser Tina Knowles — also her mom. The spots will air on Nickelodeon in March, in the week before the Kids' Choice Awards and during the show.

Before that, Beyoncé will perform on the Grammy Awards broadcast Jan. 31 on CBS, where she's up for 10 trophies, more than any other artist, including album, record and song of the year. The last is for her slamming manifesto Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), one of 2009's most ubiquitous singles (3.5 million downloads sold) and its most-streamed video. The album, I Am ... Sasha Fierce, has sold 2.7 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"I still haven't really digested it yet," Beyoncé says. The Grammy nominations were announced Dec. 2, two days before her spouse and fellow pop icon Jay-Z turned 40. "I was focused so much on my husband's birthday — I threw a big party — that I didn't really think about it. But it's really an honor."

Brian Hiatt of Rolling Stone, which recently named Beyoncé one of the top eight artists of the decade, doubts she'll have a sweep, given the momentum of industry "It" girl Taylor Swift and other up-and-comers like Lady Gaga. "But if (Beyoncé) loses in all 10 categories, it will have absolutely no effect on her career," Hiatt says.

For Beyonce, the nominations were a good reward to an especially productive and demanding period.

"I've always worked hard, but I feel like I worked harder this past year than I have since I was just starting out. I just had all these great opportunities. It started out with singing At Last," the song Barack and Michelle Obama chose for their first dance as first couple. Beyoncé serenaded them at a ball hours after the president's inauguration.

In the spring, the singer launched the I Am ... Tour, which took her to 110 cities around the world. Despite her hectic schedule, Beyoncé was determined "not to just perform and stay in the hotel. I visited the pyramids in Egypt. I saw the Great Wall of China and went out in the middle of the ocean in Australia to see the whales. I actually got sprayed in the face. I made some great memories this year and really learned to enjoy life."

So much so that "when I got home, I wrote out a contract with myself. I made a list of everything I want to do that has nothing to do with music. Well, some of it does. But I promised myself that I would not go back on tour or in the studio until I finished these things."

The to-do list consists of "random things. I want to go to restaurants, maybe take a class, see some movies and Broadway shows." (Beyoncé says she would love to do a stage musical, eventually.) She's also keen to spend more time with her 5-year-old nephew, Daniel, whose mom is Beyoncé's younger sister, Solange, 23. "He's a wonderful kid, amazing, so smart. And I spoil him, so it's a lot of work. He's a 24-hour job."

Still, Beyoncé doesn't expect her sabbatical from the music business to be easy, or even necessarily successful. "It will be the hardest thing in the world for me to make myself not do an album and shoot a video and turn it in and say, 'I'm ready!' I already have all these melodies and ideas in my head. I have to tell myself, 'Sit down! Sit down!' "

Two weeks of concert dates are scheduled in South America and the Caribbean in February to accommodate additional demand from the I Am ... trek. (She recently generated controversy by performing at a private New Year's Eve party hosted by Muatsim-Billah Gaddafi, a son of the Libyan leader. A statement from her agency and management firms notes that the annual event has "a long history of booking internationally known artists.")

She'll also launch a signature fragrance that month, Beyoncé Heat, with Coty. Beyoncé's portrayal of R&B legend Etta James in 2008's Cadillac Records earned the best reviews of her acting career.

"I learned that drama is probably what I'm best at. I really enjoy it, too — though it can be emotionally draining. Now I know I need to take time out for a project like that, rather than juggle it with 50 other things. I'm only one person."

Former Vibe and Spin editor Alan Light says Beyonce's mix of indomitability and accessibility is one key to her enduring appeal. "She seems to have it all, but there's still this thing in her that you can relate to. The persona is one of graciousness and grace under pressure."

That was certainly evident at the MTV Video Music Awards, when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech by suggesting her winning video was inferior to Single Ladies and Beyoncé responded by inviting Swift to share her own triumphant moment. "When someone does something like that on the fly, you can't say it's totally made up," Light says.

Beyoncé allows that she takes pride in maintaining a positive image. Out in New York recently, "I accidentally walked into the men's room, which was so embarrassing. But then I met this young lady in the (women's) restroom, and she was like, 'You're one of the only artists that my daughter and I both love, and I want to thank you for helping to bring us closer together.'

"That kind of compliment makes me feel so good. And I think that my own relationship with my mom, though that has nothing to do with my music, inspires mothers and young girls. That's not something I try to do, but I'm aware of it and happy about it."

Alicia Keys Album Will Feature Beyoncé Duet

Twelve-time Grammy Award-winner Alicia Keys will release "The Element of Freedom (MBL/J Records)", her fourth studio album, on December 15. On November 24, the singer's label, J Records, gave details about the new album, disclosing that it will include a duet with Beyoncé.

The Element of Freedom will include the singles "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" and "Doesn't Mean Anything," a solo version of "Empire State of Mind," which Keys previously sang with Jay-Z, "Put It In A Love Song," Keys's duet with Beyoncé. Also collaborating on the album is the rapper Drake, for the track "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)."

Beyoncé recently collaborated with Lady Gaga on the duet "Telephone," released November 23 on Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster. The pair also teamed up for "Video Phone," out the same day on Beyoncé's I Am...Sasha Fierce Deluxe Edition CD.

Beyonce Opens Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Race

Beyoncé performed in front of over 40,000 spectators to launch the Yasalam after-race concerts on Yas Island, United Arab Emirates which was presented by Flash Entertainment.

Grand Prix ticket holders enjoyed the opening to the race weekend action as Beyoncé performed some of her hits including "Crazy in Love", "If I were a boy" and "Sweet Dreams".

John Lickrish, Managing Director, Flash Entertainment said: “When Flash Entertainment launched the Yasalam programme we set out with the intention of creating something unique, something to bring the whole community together to celebrate our wonderful city. The climax to the Formula 1 season deserves something very special to accompany it and tonight’s first Yasalam after-race concert undoubtedly provided that. Beyoncé’s performance tonight was simply amazing and showed just why she is regarded among the world’s top artists. With three more great acts lined up this weekend, we are all looking forward to continuing the massive Formula 1™ celebrations in Abu Dhabi.”

Performing as part of the ‘Yasalam on Yas Island’ celebrations, Beyoncé was the first of many musical talents who performed over the race weekend. British funk band Jamiroquai played and was followed by American rockers Kings of Leon. Aerosmith closed the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Beyonce's Dad Hit with Paternity Suit

Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles, may possibly be Hollywood's sleaziest stage dad, as TMZ reports that the long-married man has been named in a paternity suit.

The site reveals that 38-year-old Canadian actress AlexSandra Wright, who has appeared on Scrubs and JAG, filed the suit last week. Although Knowles, 58, has been married to Beyonce's mother, Tina, since 1980, Wright is six months pregnant and alleges that Knowles is the father.

It's currently unknown whether Wright is simply seeking an admission of paternity or whether she wants monetary compensation. Most likely she probably wants Knowles to pay her bills.

Beyoncé’s Deréon Line Launches Daywear

Ever since Beyoncé Knowles launched House of Deréon with her mom Tina back in 2004, fans everywhere have been waiting for them to design some pieces that females can wear for on-the-job purposes. Let’s face it, booty shakin’ gold spandex and sequin basques may not cut it in the workplace :)

Good news, as the label will be launching a full collection of contemporary daywear next spring. "Beyoncé and I have had several occasions where we have meetings all day and don’t have time to run and change before dinner," said Tina Knowles. "This is a perfect collection to wear from the office to dinner because each piece can easily be dressed up or down."

The 2010 season offering – which will be available at major US department stores and online – will also feature silk jumpsuits and light embroidered knits. But, of course, given Beyoncé’s shoe addiction...it looks like we can be expecting some eight inch heels to arrive soon too. "I’m really hoping we can go into accessories really soon, especially jewellery - and as for shoes, that’s completely Beyoncé’s thing."
