Work in progress. Computer chair hurts way more than any other chair so it’s difficult to work for longer than thirty minutes or so before I have to go lie down…. doing my best folks!

Just wanted to apologize really quick for lack of page. I threw out my back last night and have been barely able to move since then and am “enjoying” massive amounts of painkillers. Needless to say I’m a little loopy. Not sure when the page will be up, but I will try to reward you guys for the wait.

And apologies if I don’t answer any comments on this journal. Takes me too long to process stuff at the moment. (Sarah and drugs are not friends)

So we’re playing with the idea of going digital because of a) speed, b) colour, c) my scanner is hella broken, d) because.

Which means I’m aiming for February 12th (a Friday) for BR’s triumphant return from sickness and busyness induced hiatus.  So keep an eye out, we’re coming back!

I just wanted to apologize to all the readers and people whom I’ve sort of dropped out of contact with concerning the comic.  Our season has basically gone from bad to utter shit.  Sarah is still very sick and unable to work, let alone do the comic. I’ve got walking pneumonia, though it is on the mend with antibiotics. However I am entirely out of the running emotionally. My best four-legged friend who is just short of being a son to me was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma.  I am unable to afford, nor am I even sure I can bring myself to make him suffer through the chemotherapy he would need. It’s torn me up inside worse than anything I can remember and I’ve basically shut down.

Consider us on hiatus until  mid January.

Alright guys, we’ve been busy busy busy and I apologize for the lack of information and updates. I’ve been speaking with Sarah and she has expressed the need for a personal hiatus. We’ll decide for sure about that Thursday. Whatever happens I’m not going to let the comic die. If we go on a hiatus I will start posting snippets of Beyond Rapture script comic page by comic page to keep the story moving along. Pages that you read in story form WILL be put into pages at the end of the hiatus. If we don’t go on hiatus than things will just continue as per the usual agenda.

On a lighter note, we were mentioned by the nice folks over at Tanuke in one of their podcasts discussing transformation and animal rights. You guys should go check them out.

Sooooo…  I work at Verizon Wireless and with the holidays coming on, work has been INSANE.  I’m actually at work right now but I have a netbook now so I can update the site but seriously guys.  It is rough this time of year.  I’m doing my best but I’m coming home completely exhausted every night.  I suck and I apologize.  I’m doing my best and it’s not fair that I’m holding the story back.

So I compiled some of the sketches I’ve been doing recently in what little spare time I have.  I know the images are screwed up.  I’ll fix ‘em when I get home.

Hey all. Just letting you know why the pages are going  be really late this week (as in sometime today, Friday).  Been a super rough week at work and I work nights, so I come home and crash and haven’t had the time or the ability to work on the pages.  I’m devoting most of today to comic work, so I’m hoping to get 3-4 pages done by the end of the day.  Keep an eye out here or on mine and Ben’s Twitter feeds for updates.
