Letters To The Editor

2012-08-11T19:50:00.001-04:00

Dear, Taiga Minion

I have been watching you for some time now. I know you all too well and even though you don't know it, you know me very well also. I am writing this letter because I want you to promise me something. You can be anything you put your mind to and that is a very valuable skill to have. Once, I even heard that you were an assassin, eliminating your targets by killing them softly, as you called it. Although you kept your methods a secret, you shared them with me didn't you? I am very aware your love for a woman you've never met before. You're a helpless romantic. I also understand that you have a dream of traveling with your closest friends and hearing thousands of your fans scream your name. You're in love with people you've never met and places you've never been to. So now I'll cut right to the chase. After everything is all said and done, there is only one person who is guaranteed to be at your side and that person is me. I want you to promise me that you will never give up, that you will never back down, and that you will never forget. Never lose sight of where you're going. Never forget me. Now get going, we have work to do.

Sincerely Yours, Imagination

Life With BK: All About My Sister!

2012-07-22T19:18:00.000-04:00

Here is a new video from my YouTube channel called Life With BK. This video is all about my sister and the crazy stuff she does.

If you guys didn't already know, I will be putting out a video every Wednesday so get ready for that!!

Will You Know That It's Me?

2012-07-21T01:43:00.001-04:00

I'm watching myself change. Change into a completely different person. But I'm not changing at all. Will you know that it's me when we meet again? Will you recognize me? When you realize it's me, are you going to wish that you stayed? Will you curse what I've become? Will you call me selfish? Will you hate me? Or will you see that I haven't changed at all? Maybe you've been blind all along. But, that's probably not the answer. Maybe you just couldn't see past the walls surrounding me. Go ahead and break them down. You won't find me there. Because no matter what, I'm not who you think I am. So no matter what, to you, I've changed. To be quite honest, I don't care either. I'm sorry.

I'm different. I'm in my own world and to be honest it's scary sometimes. Because sometimes I don't ever think that I'll come back to reality. Scared that I'll be lost in my mind forever, haunted by the things I never got the chance to do.
Some people are constantly looking for love. I never understood why. Well, I don't understand why. It's weird, I never went looking for love anywhere ever but I found it. Now, this might sound weird and you might think "that's such a girl thing to say" or something like that, but I love my friends. I'm not "in love" with my friends. Like if something ever happened to any of them, it would affect me. And when we fight or they're mad at me, I feel like a part of me is missing. Mostly because, since we've spent so much time together I feel like they're a part of me now. Like we are no longer friends but brothers. And I would do anything for them, that's just me. Like if they need money, I would give them as much as I have and I wouldn't want them to pay me back because that's just me. I don't care about money. I don't want it really. But obviously, you need money to do anything.

Anyways, to me it seems like I'm rambling now. Sorry. If you read it all, I hope you understand it. And if you don't read it then it's all good. There is no real point to this. There was in the first paragraph but then I got lost in my own thoughts like usual. Anyways, I just want to know, if we ever meet again, will you know that it's me?

No what ifs. No regrets. Just live. Just love.

What's up everyone! First, I wanna say thank you to everyone who has supported us! It truly means a lot to us. Second, I wanna congratulate everyone who graduated this year. And third, I wanna congratulate LeBron James on finally winning his first NBA Championship, so congratulations to him and the whole Miami Heat organization. And now, I'm gonna tell you everything we've been working on recently!

As we all know, Errol Stewart aka Flystewie dropped his first mixtape The Freshmen (Which you can download here). So everyone go listen to that and support him and BYOI.
We are working on BYOI's first mixtape called The BYOI Tape so get ready to start hearing some tracks from that very soon, starting with the Summertime Remix (Listen to Summertime here).
We're starting to get back to making videos and the first one we have coming to you is called YOLO. We are recording it within the next few days so hopefully it will be up next week sometime.
I really wanted to do an E3 video talking about the whole of E3 but I think it's a bit late now, so instead I think I'm just going to make a video about who I think won E3 and give "awards" to games which I though deserved them. Also we were supposed to do a video answering the questions that some people have been asking us so I will answer those questions for you guys and put it up on our YouTube channel.
That's all I have right now but I will be posting things more frequently on the blog so hang tight and thank you everyone for supporting BYOI!

Monsters and the Pain That Comes with Them.

2012-06-03T18:29:00.000-04:00

I've come to realize pain is necessary. It's somewhat a necessity to live because it's the pain that makes us real. I'm still learning to deal with it. To accept all the pain that people have inflicted on me throughout these years. All I have are the demons of these mishaps in my head. The images and the words implanted on the walls of my imagination. I don't let people in. Lately I have been. As soon as I realize what I'm doing I simply just cut myself off. I'm sad. I'm very sad. Some days I show it and some days I don't. Some days I take it out on others. If you're not the people who are close to me, I'd say I'm not the type to be close around. I think I've said enough.
"It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone." -Rose Kennedy
Until next time,
Alysha
