One of the prime tourist attractions of the city of Ujjain, Ram ghat is located on the banks of the Shipra river, where the Shipra aarti is held everyday. In the evening, you can visit the ghat to participate in the aarti pooja. It is a heavenly sight when lamps are lit and prayers are sung by the ghat. This ghat is also famous for its Kumbhmela. During the mela, you can see thousands of devotees taking a holy dip in the river and paying respects to the god.

The Shipra, also known as the Kshipra, is a river in Madhya Pradesh state of central India. The river rises in the North of Dhar district, and flows north across the Malwa Plateau to join the Chambal River at the MP-Rajasthan boundary in Mandsaur district. It is one of the sacred rivers in Hinduism. The holy city of Ujjain is situated on its east bank. Every 12 years, the Sinhastha fair (Kumbh Mela) takes place on the city's elaborate riverside ghats, as do yearly celebrations of the river goddess Kshipra. There are hundreds of Hindu shrines along the banks of the river Shipra.

Actually, we are in luck. Apparently this capability was just recently added to the Gmail service Once you get export the contact from Gmail after that it is easy to send mails in outlook by using mail merge.

Here is the Step-1

You will see number of contacts then select desired contact list

Under the desired list click on more button then you will find export option click on it

Step-4

You will find Export contacts options Choose between "Gmail CSV" (a neat idea if you have more than one Gmail account or want to share your address book with a colleague or friend, but generally probably not that useful) and "Outlook CSV" for the ubiquitous Microsoft Outlook email system.

Step-5

Once you choose the format that best fits your needs, click on Export Contacts and in the blink of an eye, you'll have a filename like "gmail-to-outlook.csv" on your computer, ready to be imported into another email program.

Hottest topic in the public is – Hey which mobile do you use is it Blackberry, iPhone, or Android ? Mobile IT world has been changed tremendously. If you see International Telecommunication Union (http://www.itu.int/en/Pages/default.aspx) day to day developments in IT industry. (Librarians must see this site). International Telecommunication Union estimates that there are about 4 billion live cell phones in circulation today. That's two-thirds of the world's population. As more of these devices come online, making sure that resources--such as OPACs--are compatible with these devices becomes imperative.

It is time to offer library services on mobiles, when I was search Library OPAC of Library Information Network for Community Colleges using my mobile as well as on the desktop system, it was amazing, unfortunately in India so far nobody has (software vendors) developed a Library OPAC for mobile, of course it may be in developing stage. Anyway library patrons can access library OPACs from their mobiles.

From yesterday google ads were been showing as "ad choices" instead of "ads by google". This became a big news in google and google publishers were in a big panic.
But a website tells "Google’s Adwords ’Ads By Google’ icon is gradually being replaced by a new icon that says AdChoices". Seen on Sure Start News for the first time today, the change to AdChoices was announced by Google back in their blog on March 21st 2011

Nothing needed to panic , its only a new advertising icon from google saying ad choices.
