Billy Graham answers." width="220"></iframe>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; "The Evidence of God's Existence is Everywhere." --- ###<br /><br />### **The Evidence of God's Existence is Everywhere**<br /><br />The idea that God's existence is evident in every corner of our world is a belief that has resonated with humanity for millennia. Across cultures and civilizations, countless individuals have found divine presence woven into the fabric of life. From the intricate beauty of nature to the profound depth of human experience, evidence of God's existence is often seen as being so deeply embedded in our world that it cannot be overlooked. In this essay, I will explore some of the various ways in which God's existence is believed to manifest in our surroundings.<br /><br />#### **The Natural World: A Reflection of Divine Design**<br /><br />One of the most compelling arguments for God's existence is found in the natural world. The complexity, order, and beauty of the universe point to a creator behind it all. The precision of the laws of physics, the fine-tuning of the Earth to sustain life, and the remarkable biodiversity found across the globe suggest an intentional design rather than random chance.<br /><br />The delicate balance of ecosystems, the seasons' cycles, the arrangement of celestial bodies, and even the structure of DNA all display a level of complexity that seems difficult to attribute solely to impersonal forces. For many, this order is seen as evidence of a purposeful Creator who has orchestrated every element of the universe with care and intention.<br /><br />#### **The Human Experience: The Spark of Divinity Within**<br /><br />In addition to the natural world, the human experience itself provides evidence of God's presence. Human beings have a unique capacity for reason, love, empathy, and creativity. These qualities, which often transcend mere survival instincts, are viewed by many as reflections of the divine.<br /><br />For instance, the capacity for love and compassion that transcends self-interest is frequently cited as evidence of God's influence. People often experience moments of profound grace, joy, or peace that seem to defy natural explanations, suggesting a connection to something greater than themselves. The longing for meaning and purpose, which is central to the human condition, is seen by some as an innate desire to reconnect with the Creator.<br /><br />#### **The Moral Order: A Reflection of Divine Law**<br /><br />Another area where evidence of God's existence is believed to be present is in the moral order that governs human behavior. Across cultures, there are shared values and ethical principles that seem to transcend geography and history. These moral guidelines, whether they are rooted in religious texts or secular philosophy, often call for love, justice, and compassion.<br /><br />The fact that humanity universally recognizes certain actions as right or wrong suggests that there may be a moral lawgiver behind these principles. The very notion of morality — the distinction between good and evil — points to a higher standard that many believe is grounded in the existence of God.<br /><br />#### **Personal Experience: Encountering the Divine**<br /><br />For many, personal encounters with God serve as the most direct and undeniable evidence of His existence. Individuals from all walks of life often speak of experiences of divine intervention, answered prayers, or moments of deep spiritual connection that they interpret as encounters with God. These experiences, although subjective, are powerful and transformative for those who undergo them.<br /><br />Some people claim to have felt God's presence during times of hardship, finding comfort and strength in what they perceive as divine support. Others encounter God through moments of awe and wonder, often in nature or in quiet moments of reflection. While these experiences may not be empirically measurable, they remain a central part of many people's faith and provide a profound sense of the divine’s existence.<br /><br />#### **Theological and Philosophical Perspectives**<br /><br />Philosophers and theologians have also long argued that evidence for God's existence can be found in human reasoning itself. Classical arguments for the existence of God, such as the Cosmological Argument (the idea that the existence of the universe requires a First Cause), the Teleological Argument (the idea that the complexity of the universe points to a designer), and the Moral Argument (the idea that morality is grounded in a higher power), have been central to many religious and philosophical discussions.<br /><br />Theological perspectives assert that God's presence is not just in the created world but also within the hearts and minds of individuals. The belief in a transcendent, omnipotent being is viewed not as an abstract concept but as a living reality that continuously shapes the world and human experience.<br /><br />#### **Conclusion: A World That Points to the Divine**<br /><br />From the smallest atom to the vastness of the cosmos, and from the quiet whispers of the human heart to the profound depths of personal spiritual experience, the evidence for God's existence is all around us. For those who are open to it, every sunrise, every act of kindness, and every instance of moral clarity serves as a reminder of the divine presence in our lives. While these forms of evidence may not be universally convincing to everyone, they remain powerful and meaningful for many, speaking to the reality of a Creator whose existence is intertwined with every aspect of the universe. Whether one looks to nature, human experience, morality, or personal encounters, the evidence of God's existence is indeed everywhere.<br /><br />---<br /><br />What do you think of this perspective? Does any particular aspect resonate with you?</p>JOEL style="text-align: left;">who wrote the bible pdf</h2><div style="text-align: justify;"> Divine Inspiration and Human Authorship wrote the Bible now the Bible is a book that is made up of several smaller documents which are also called books and those documents were written by many different people tradition identifies 35 different people that are associated with those books as well as plenty of anonymous books these are books that we don't know who wrote them but somebody did and so we're going to take a high-level view of where these books of the Bible came from and the humans that both wrote them and contributed to the Bible that we know after the main documents were written so when we answer the question who wrote the Bible we're going to be looking at three different types of answers we're going to look at the sources this is where we get into more of the spiritual side of where these books of the Bible came from as well as some regular original sources of the author's site we're also going to look at the humans that wrote the Bible now like I mentioned church history identifies 35 names of people that have been credited with writing books of the Bible&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp; there were more than 40 different individuals that contributed and then we're also going to look at these scribes and scholars these people played a critical role in giving us the Bible that we have today that is often overlooked so these aren't necessarily the authors in the Bible but a lot of the documents that we have today we have because of these people so it's very important that we recognize so let's jump there when we look at the Bible's sources the main one that you're going to hear from Christians is God himself there's this idea of divine inspiration and we get that from how some of the people who were writing books that made it into the Bible but talk about where these words come from you'll find in the Old Testament people saying all the time the word of the Lord came to sell itself or thus says the Lord and what we find out through reading the Bible and also just looking at acts Christian and Jewish history is people believe that the books of the Bible especially the books of the Old Testament were written by humans but were inspired or prompted by God's Spirit the Apostle Paul writes to Timothy and he says that all scripture those are the books of the Old Testament is God breathed or God inspired and the author of 2nd Peter tells his readers that none of the prophets in the Old Testament were just writing based on their own initiative they were carried along by God's Spirit so although we're going to see a lot of human perspectives in the books of the Bible these perspectives are brought in by those individual authors and of course the the perspectives of the scribes and scholars after them we still have this belief that these folks were prompted by God's Spirit they were writing out of loyalty and devotion to God there are a few other sources that are not as spiritual as as this we have oral traditions these are stories that were handed down generation to generation and eventually were used by or and referenced by the other writers of Scripture we have ancient songs a great example of an ancient song being used is in the book of Judges where someone we don't know who wrote the book of Judges is putting together this picture of how the nation of Israel devolved without any sort of godly leadership and there's at one point when they quote a psalm it's called the stall of Deborah and this piece of ancient Hebrew poetry is far older than the rest of the book of Judges it's it's ancient it's old but it's used as part of a book that was written afterwards we have wise sayings of better Paulding why sayings from the Jewish leaders wise sayings from from other people that may not have been part of the Jewish faith</div><div style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;we have letters and decrees you're going to find letters that were written from religious leaders to their followers you're going to find decrees written by kings and emperors these are these are pulled in to the books that are in our Bible we have historical records from you know kings and monarchs or kings and monarchies of the ancient world and we have eyewitness testimony for example in the Gospel of Luke the author claims that he's pulled together these these testimonies from other people that that were present during the life and Jesus so these are these are the sources this is some of where the the people that wrote the Bible were drawing from obviously the chief one the most important one to to the religious Society of biblical discussion is that divine inspiration now let's look at the human authors of Scripture I'm not going to get into the list of all 35 authors of the Bible that are traditionally associated with these books but you can find that list on over V Bible com what we want to get an idea of is the rules of the people that contributed so when we're looking at contributors the the chief type of contributor to what we what we call the Bible today are the prophets and these are humans who spoke and wrote on God's behalf they were usually calling people to live in obedience or loyalty to Israel's God the Old Testament books are often named after the Prophet that wrote the majority of the text in those books so when we see the Book of Ezekiel well most of the Book of Ezekiel was was written we believe by the prophet Ezekiel and you see that with most of the books that are toward the end of the Old Testament some examples of prophets that contributed to scripture we have Moses he's the person who led Israel out of Exodus up to the edge of the promised land he's credited with giving the Israelites that original Torah the original laws from God who made several agreements with the people of Israel and in those first five books of the Bible which is what we call the Torah today we see a couple of actions or there are a couple episodes in which Moses is writing down things that are happening now obviously there was the in in the Torah we see episodes that Moses probably didn't write things like saying that he was the most humble man in the world or where Moses died and how nobody knows where Moses died those are some things that that we also find in the Torah which is why these scribes and scholars are going to be important for us to look at in just a little bit in addition to Moses another great example of a prophet is David David was a king he was a musician he was a songwriter and he produced a great deal of songs that are preserved in the Book of Psalms but only about half of those Psalms are credited to or associated with David where did the others come from and how did they come together into that body of 150 oh that's where this third category becomes important so very very interesting how these two work together I say at Jeremiah Joel these are those prophets whose books are named after themselves they wrote these long epic poems about how the relationship with Israel and their God was playing out very very key contributors to the text of the Bible then we have a group of people I'm calling the sages these are wise people the most famous of whom was of course King Solomon they wrote proverbs riddles stories and songs to help people make just and godly decisions when they were as they were going about their lives we have historians these are people who chronicled the stories in ways that made a theological point Luke is a really good example of this he wrote of the the books of Luke and acts so church tradition tells us that following the New Testament but we also have Old Testament historians as well when we look at the books of Joshua and judges Samuel and kings chronicles Ezra and Nehemiah these are these are stories that are telling the history of Israel but telling it in a way to make certain theological points so it's not it's not necessarily that they were historians the way we would think of historians today their theological historians they are trying to teach a spiritual truth in the way they're arranging history and then of course we have for the New Testament the Apostles and their associates so an apostle was someone that was sent by Jesus Christ to build his church on earth and so these were close followers of Jesus who were the leaders of the early church examples of this are include Matthew Matthew wrote the Gospel of Matthew according to church tradition and that's the first book of the New Testament the Apostle Paul wrote many letters to local churches of his day and then we also have people who weren't necessarily apostles but were associated closely enough with the apostles for for them to be writing under their authority and their writings were also deemed very valuable by the Christian Church a great example of this is mark mark is credited with writing the gospel that bears his name and as far as the church has been concerned pretty much since the beginning the Gospel of Mark has been associated with Saint Peter the the idea is that mark although he's not an apostle wrote that gospel from Peters memory in Peters notes and there's a lot of conversation across church history that that is pointed to this being what Christians have believed for a very long time this brings us to the third answer to this question of who wrote the Bible a rare did we get the text of the Bible and we want to look at scribes and scholars these people played a very crucial role in giving us the Bible that we have today because they did they di three really important things for us one is they organized Scripture so we havescribes that were pulling togetherdocuments that were written over longstretches of time and putting themtogether into the cohesive documents andsets of documents that we have now agreat example of this is the Book of Psalms I mentioned this a little bit earlier so King David was a musician King and he's credited with producing some songs the praise God but how how did those songs come together to make half of the Book of Psalms ready the other Psalms come from who made the call of pulling these together well we don't know that part of the work is anonymous but we do know that somehow we get to a point at which we have a hundred and fifty Psalms that are patched together into one really cohesive and well organized work it's a it's a really important thing that we have and the scribes and scholars to thank for this Psalms is a great example of this proverbs pulls together 7 different collections of wise sayings it is it's very very vital what the scribes and scholars did in addition to this they were key in preserving texts so the Israelites believed that Moses gave them the original Torah and there are points at which we see Moses ready now but keeping that Torah preserving the books of the Bible was no small task we have scribes and scholars to thank for that they kept these books they copied these books very meticulously and very faithfully that's that's one of the reasons why the Dead Sea Scrolls was such an important discovery in the past century because&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify;">we have we have this evidence of very very very old documents from the Jewish faith that still match up really really nicely with later documents that that we have been using for a long time so these these folks were keeping the keeping the books together and preserving them and copying them so that other people could read them and so that they would last because old-time parchment doesn't last forever the third thing that we want to look at when we when we talk about scribes and scholars is how they canonize the books of the Bible eventually Christian leaders made the decision to to say some books belong and of the Bible these books are sacred scripture and obviously that was not a decision that was taken lightly and not one that happened very quickly it didn't happen until centuries after Jesus that the the leaders of different Christian traditions said these are the books that we believe belong in Bible that have demonstrated value and cohesion and something that something that we believe is sacred and useful not only for the church of their time but had been useful for the church in the centuries leading up to their time they believed would be useful for as long as Christianity would be a thing and so that gives you a high level idea of who wrote the Bible the books that we have in the Bible were organized and preserved and canonized by scribes and scholars who used the documents that originally came from various humans over the course of history and these humans wrote out of loyalty and dedication and devotion to the God that was inspiring these poems and these stories and these sayings that they had put together over hundreds of years that's why it's kind of an interesting question to answer who wrote the Bible we have a lot of people that played a hand in the Bible that we have today now if you'd like to know more about where we got the Bible and how all the books of the Bible fit together you should check out my book it's called the beginner's guide to the Bible and it'll walk you through the entire process of</div> <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a Here we see the heart of Hezekiah revealed and the central place that God occupies in his affections. So he says, ‘It is in mine heart to make a covenant with the Lord God’. Having seen the actions of the man it is no surprise to know what was in his heart. But it’s very important to establish that link for where our affections lie will dictate the extent of our involvement in and commitment to the things of the Lord.&nbsp;</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> We also appreciate the expanse of Hezekiah’s heart, ‘It is in mine heart to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel’, v. 10. He was king of Judah and Benjamin. His immediate responsibility was to those who owned his kingship and right to rule, but here was a man who had a heart much broader than the confines of his own kingdom. If we read Old Testament chronology correctly, Israel as a nation was in the last six years of its existence, for ‘Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it. And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken’, 2 Kgs. 18. 9, 10. It had been an idolatrous nation for many years but Hezekiah’s heart went out to them almost as if he knew the judgement that was soon to come upon them.&nbsp;</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> How significant a lesson is here! As we see the day of God’s judgement upon this world approaching should we not be concerned? Should we not have a heart for the lost? If assembly testimony is declining one reason certainly is that we have lost our heart for the lost and our zeal in gospel outreach. As well as Hezekiah’s love for the lost we can see his affection for the people of God in verse 11, ‘My sons, be not now negligent’. Mark how he handled the priests and the Levites in order to accomplish what was in his heart. He speaks to them as brethren, but even more than that, he calls them sons, the title of close relationship and affection. What tenderness! He nonetheless reminds them of their divinely-given responsibility, ‘the Lord hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him’. Hezekiah is not asking simply for the Levites to obey the royal command, he is asking for them to fulfil their roles as appointed to the service of God. No saint can ignore the call of God! What wisdom we see in this approach. Hezekiah’s Commitment Once the Levites’ report comes back to Hezekiah and he knows that the work of cleansing is complete, Hezekiah is quick to reinstate the sacrifices: ‘Then Hezekiah the king rose early’, 2 Chron. 29. 20. The sequence of events needs to be right. It is the work of the Levites to cleanse the temple and to sanctify it for worship. The king might command it but those prepared of God must carry out the work. Once this is fulfilled Hezekiah moves early and swiftly to become involved in that which is appropriate for his own position. He will take the lead in regard to the sacrifices for he is acting on behalf of the people.&nbsp;</div> <table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody> <tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp0jlh8VjpkLbviHo6LPTT3QFqIAbTZ2ogJag7WYdYnKmSbdNy_LLJ9JW3xnD77pi44B8iKG5VUS3BE1KnoK-H_fCp8KsNnSHyNwVTdI1M9ml2NGmWSKoT6g6_G8K5R6Otfi0XOj55dr7r/s1600/hezikiahs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp0jlh8VjpkLbviHo6LPTT3QFqIAbTZ2ogJag7WYdYnKmSbdNy_LLJ9JW3xnD77pi44B8iKG5VUS3BE1KnoK-H_fCp8KsNnSHyNwVTdI1M9ml2NGmWSKoT6g6_G8K5R6Otfi0XOj55dr7r/s320/hezikiahs.jpg" width="217" /></a></td></tr> <tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Hezekiah Prayer</td></tr> </tbody></table> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> It is clear that Hezekiah appreciates that God is a God of order, and he is sensitive to maintain that order. In our rejection of a ‘one-man’ led ministry it is important not to swing to the other extreme of an ‘anyman’ ministry. God has equipped the people of God to fulfil different roles within His assembly and we do well to maintain that order and allow gift to be exercised properly. This was the truth that Paul was concerned about in respect of the chaos at Corinth, and required that ‘all things be done decently and in order’, 1 Cor. 14. 40. We should notice that seven of each sacrificial victim were brought: seven bullocks, seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he-goats. All of this was to symbolize the nation’s sacrifice. It was, for ‘a sin offering for the kingdom’; ‘and for the sanctuary’; ‘and for Judah’, v. 21. We see here something of Hezekiah’s appreciation of what God required. The sacrifices were for the king and the kingdom, for the priests and the Levites, the temple and its courts and finally for the nation and the part it had played in the apostasy. The magnitude of the sacrifice had not been seen since David brought God’s ark up to Jerusalem. Even on that occasion David offered only seven bullocks and seven rams.&nbsp;</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> Here is further proof of Hezekiah’s heartfelt desire to return the nation to the days of ‘David the king’. Here it is that we see that desire worked out in practice. There is, in the extent of the sacrifices that Hezekiah established, an indication of his appreciation of the character of God and a desire to make full atonement for the sins of his father’s reign. This was not the time for half-measures. It is essential, in practice as well as in principle, always to set the standard of holiness that God requires before us. In this we cannot afford to compromise. </div> </div> Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2177801084219050082.post-42694382068685418972015-07-30T21:32:00.000-07:002015-08-28T10:45:08.784-07:00The Last Prayer In the Bible<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"> <span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;"> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWclalvaXqp88_LTVmFjT-5BpBhN25H4G_BvOt99enyO_JMR1y-j7D1ZBnbT-toOa17TpY_kFeDsEZGyBm9CUieduUWGsJFKry0xuGUo4omGWPemrNPDLpZv8XLR6B9jMs_qFpELDH3axI/s1600/prayer.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWclalvaXqp88_LTVmFjT-5BpBhN25H4G_BvOt99enyO_JMR1y-j7D1ZBnbT-toOa17TpY_kFeDsEZGyBm9CUieduUWGsJFKry0xuGUo4omGWPemrNPDLpZv8XLR6B9jMs_qFpELDH3axI/s320/prayer.jpg" width="320" /></a></div> <span style="color: red;">The Last Prayer In the Bible</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75;">The book of Revelation was written by the Apostle John while he was on the Island of Patmos, a small island in the Aegean Sea, southwest of Ephesus.&nbsp;</span></div> </span><br /> <div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div> <span style="color: #351c75; font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"></span><br /> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75; font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">John was exiled there by the Roman Emperor, Domition, the brother of Titus. Jesus will come personally, visibly, triumphantly, and suddenly .&nbsp;</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75;"><br /></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75;">The suddenness, the fswiftness of His coming is taught three times in the last chapter.</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75;"><br /></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75;">''Come Lord Jesus" - this last prayer of the Bible is an expression of the desire of His Church from the beginning until now.</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75;"><br /></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #351c75;">All our hopes are in Him. Verse 21 is God's answer to the prayer of His people. The book of Revelation has been about the challenges and opposition God's people will face, all the while having the picture of the throne of the Lamb in the background. God reigns and rules. So, the final prayer is for Jesus to come and take them to glory and God's answer is: the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.</span></div> </span></div> </div> Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2177801084219050082.post-17271449212987951852015-07-05T10:19:00.001-07:002015-08-28T10:45:08.444-07:00what is your answer<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"> <!-- adsense --><br /> <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"> <br /> <div align="left" style="border: 0px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 21px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;"> <strong style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">1.Women pastors / preachers? If you do these postures and you do this breathing technique and this meditation, then you will be accepted by a god, little </div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> “Romans 12:1-2 says we are to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice to God,”<br /> &nbsp;“Here they are doing something very similar with these postures to their 330 million gods, and it is scary. So we abstain from things offered to idols—Acts 15:29.” </div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> &nbsp; In yoga they do what they call pranayama breathing. Prana is the Hindu word for life force, the same concept as the word chi in some martial arts. Yoga breathing attempts to manipulate that life energy, because I think that we are coming out from under the blood of Jesus when we do stuff like that, and we are no match for the enemy in those areas. I think of what Paul said in Ephesians 2:2, that Satan is the prince of the power of the air. <br /> My concern in yoga is the concept of emptying the mind, which is contradictory to what Christianity teaches. “We are transformed by the renewing of our minds”<br /> <br /> Along with emptying the mind, yoga guides people into astral travel, which is where people actually leave their bodies “I wonder with those experiences when I left my body what got in there when I was gone? “As a Christian with the Holy Spirit in there, we are not going to be possessed, I don’t think. But one could easily be oppressed.”<br /> <br /> Clearly, with this understanding of yoga,<span style="color: red;"><b> Christians should think twice before heading to the local gym for a yoga class.</b></span> But if you are a Christian who thinks it’s all right to attend yoga classes because you think you are strong enough not to fall prey to the spiritual deception that’s being taught and you enjoy the physical benefits,&nbsp; If you go to a yoga class, chances are they might be inspired to go also, and <span style="color: magenta;">they could fall completely off track in their walk with God.</span><br /> <br /> <div style="text-align: left;"> <span style="color: magenta;"><a href="https://yogaoppositional.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><span style="font-size: x-large;">For more on yoga opposite to Bible post your comments and views click here</span></a></span></div> <br /></div> </div> Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2177801084219050082.post-61303467752069020122015-05-23T04:38:00.000-07:002015-08-28T10:45:08.994-07:00Some Notable Psalms<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"> <div style="text-align: center;"> <span style="color: magenta; Surrounded by the conditional love of finite humanity, we cannot easily comprehend that God would love us. We know our faults. We know that God is perfect and sinless. We know that we are not. Why would God, who is infinite and holy, love us, who are finite and sinful? And yet the great truth of the gospel is that He does! Time and again, Scripture reminds us of God’s love for us.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <br /><div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #674ea7;">To begin with, God created mankind in His own image. And He did so with great care and concern. He “formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being … the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man” (Genesis 2:7,21-22).&nbsp;</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #674ea7;">There’s an intimacy here between God and mankind. With the rest of creation, God merely spoke and it was. Yet God took time in forming man and woman. He gave them dominion over the earth . God related directly to Adam and Eve. After the Fall, the couple hid from God when He came “walking in the garden in the cool of the day” (Genesis 3:8). It was not abnormal for them to speak with God; it was abnormal for them to hide.</span></div> </span><br /><br /> <div style="padding: 0px; text-align: justify;"> <span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><strong style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">2 Peter 1:4</span></strong></span></div> <div style="padding: 0px; text-align: justify;"> <em style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><b><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. He doesn’t promise our lives will be free of trouble yet He does promise to hold us close through it all. Never doubt God’s love and care. He hurts when we hurt. His son, Jesus, went up the agonizing hill to the cross and understands the deep anguish the soul can plunge to. That’s why we can trust Him to be with us in our times of overwhelming stress.</div> </span></span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: blue;"><br /></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #134f5c;">Take a look at your life. How would you describe it? Contented? Rushed? Exciting? Stressful? Moving forward? Holding back? For many of us it’s all of the above at times. There are things we dream of doing one day, there are things we wish we could forget. In the Bible, it says that Jesus came to make all things new. What would your life look like if you could start over with a clean slate?</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: magenta;">Living with hope</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #0b5394;">If you are looking for peace, there is a way to balance your life. No one can be perfect, or have a perfect life. But every one of us has the opportunity to experience perfect grace through a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #0b5394;"><br /></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #0b5394;">You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer. Praying is simply talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Here’s a suggested prayer:</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #0b5394;"><br /></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #0b5394;">Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to you and ask you to come in as my Savior and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life.
