Twitter's public stream is overwhelming at up to 12,000 tweets per minute. That's like reading 2 600-page hardback english novels every minute!

OK, now the rest of you is to know how to get this list for following. To obtain this list, first you need to use Firefox browser. Then install addon Link Gopher. After installed, Right-click the word Links in the FF browser's status bar: Links => Extract Links by Filter. You must also install the addon AutoPager to get a long list (hundreds Twitter Followers by Location).

They'll help you find local tweeps, get found locally and share geographic trends on Twitter. What this basically means is that you would be able to find twitter Map My Followers specific to your area. This is a great way to be able to connect with fellow twitter map of your Twitter followers who live in the same place as you!

TwAitter is super helpful, but here’s the thing, you can’t forget about the engagement side of tweeting.  It’s very easy to get caught up in scheduling tweets; shooting news out into the twitterverse with no follow-up.  But what if someone response to that news, replies back and wants to know more?  If you use TwAitter solely to Schedule Tweets and not follow up on them to engage, then it starts to get a little “spammy.”

SocialOomph not feature recurring calendar tweet. But you can Save drafts of your tweets and other frequently used text . . . plus URLs. Then reuse them in your scheduled tweets. 3- CoTweet enables user to Schedule Tweets|Schedule Tweets in Future:

You need to register before you can use CoTweet, which lets you schedule the tweets and send them right now or in any specific time to one or multiple Twitter accounts.

You can read, reply or retweet the tweets of the mention/direct messages, your friends’ updates and your twitter lists. If the URL is shortened by bit.ly, you can see how many times it has been clicked.

No re-occurrence feature is included in the service.

4. Schedule Tweets on Your Twitter Status with LaterBro:

LaterBro is having very neat interface, easy to navigate and best part no need to register to LaterBro for scheduling status and tweets. You can add mulitple accounts to laterBro and you can schedule just by entering your Twitter and Facebook account credentials.

This service will let you schedule both tweets and status updates, and have them published whenever you want.

In this way, if you know that at a certain time you will be busy doing something (IE, attending a party or some social event) then you will still be able to keep an active presence on Twitter or Facebook by having scheduled everything to go live beforehand.

When you will visit LaterBro, you can add your Twitter and Facebook Account.

To add your accounts, you need to enter Twitter and Facebook credentials and allow the application to access your accounts. Once accounts are added you will be asked to update your Timezone (only once). That’s it! you can now schedule your status.While scheduling status you can select accounts you want to schedule status for and you can also get details about scheduled status.

6. Schedule tweets into the future with Taweet:

You can sign in with Twitter OAuth. Twaitter lets you schedule public tweets and publish them in any time. And you can reply, retweet, or favorite the tweets, see if the tweeple follow you, manage your multiple Twitter accounts, and so on.

This is a great website if you want to write tweets and time them in a micro managed way. Scheduling tweets is not really helpful for a time frame of a few minutes or an hour, but it is practical if you are scheduling tweets 12 hours or more in the future. This is quite helpful if you think your followers usually look up tweets in the mornings and you work at night. You can schedule them for the morning in that case.

To Schedule Tweets, you need to do some tweaking to the settings as by default the buffer is set for 12 hours. The buffer is a time frame in which if you schedule a tweet, it gets cancelled or deleted from Twitter to avoid double posts for your followers. I could reduce the buffer to 3 hours which is the minimum (see image below)

Taweet also allowed me to manage multiple Twitter accounts (But  can not tweet your content to multiple accounts at once).

It also has a Facebook like feature which allows others using Taweet to comment on your Future Tweet.

C- Single Twitter Accounts Schedule Tweets:

2. Twuffer is a free online service to schedule tweets for the future:

Sign in Twuffer with your Twitter, select your timezone, and then you can schedule the tweets by Schedule Tweets. You can compose the tweets, and then set the time at which you want them to go live. You can Schedule Tweets for a long time in the future, and Twuffer will take care of posting those tweets at your scheduled time.

Firefox is the best browser around right now, with a large open-source community behind it. Firefox maybe the best in terms of features and flexibility, but all of this comes at a price. Firefox is a resource hog. Firefox 3 has been a lot better at managing resources, yet it has high memory usage, and occasionally, CPU usage hit 100% and the system hangs. It can take up 140 MB of RAM when multiple tabs are open.

There are many reasons for Firefox hanging and/or using excessive memory. Plugins and extensions, which are not part of the default Firefox install may cause this. Poorly optimized sites which load several images and ads may cause this. These are inevitable.

Using AVG Security Toolbar

A recent update by AVG to its AVG Security Toolbar extension caused Firefox to use significantly increased amounts of CPU and memory. This is a bug in the extension that AVG is working on fixing. For the time being, you can disable the extension.

NOTE: It is only the extension that should be disabled. You don't need to remove your anti-virus software.

1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu and select Add-ons. The Add-ons window will appear.
2. Select the Extensions panel.
3. In the Extensions panel, select AVG Security Toolbar.
4. Click the Disable button.
5. Click Restart Firefox. Firefox will close, then open with the extension disabled.

Disable problematic extensions:

Cut down on the number of extensions used. More specifically, try to remove those extensions which access internet to update information for each site(Alexa toolbar, PR tools, StumbleUpon toolbar etc.). Report the website

If you are unable to determine the source of the problem with a specific site, you can report the site to the Firefox development team, which can review the site to determine if there are specific issues in Firefox that need to be addressed.

To report a website, at the top of the Firefox window, click the Help menu, and select Report Broken Web Site….

Note: No personal information is required to submit a report of a broken website. Reporting issues with specific websites assists the Firefox team in improving the browser.

Find the firefox.exe file. Typically, this file is located here:

1. Right-click the Firefox icon, and select Properties to open the Mozilla Firefox Properties window.
2. Select the Compatibility tab, and make sure Run this program in compatibility mode for: is deselected.

Windows prefetch

Newer versions of Windows utilize a mechanism to accelerate the boot process. On Windows XP and Vista systems, the operating system must load many individual pieces of files during the boot-up process for the operating system and applications. Windows maintains a record of the pieces that are loaded during the boot process in a folder. Subsequent rebooting can use this trace to identify files that would be more efficient to load entirely at one time, instead of loading individual pieces across multiple reads of the hard disk. This prefetch mechanism can accelerate the overall performance of the computer.

However, the method of deciding which files to load may not be efficient for Firefox and can require significant CPU resources. You may experience faster performance by removing prefetch files on Windows XP or Windows Vista systems. The prefetch files are stored here: 

C:\Windows\Prefetch\

Delete any filename beginning with: FIREFOX

Disable Prefetching in Firefox

In your browsers address window enter the address:

about:config

This will pull up your browser settings (in FF3 it will warn you that there be dragons ahead!  Just accept the warning.)  You’ll now want to search for the following string, which you’ll toggle off:

network.prefetch-next

To toggle off this setting simple double-click the listing and it will set to false. 

High memory usage in Firefox

1)      Firefox may use high memory usage because of the problems with extensions, themes or plug ins. Try disabling, updating or removing them.

2)      The more number of open tabs you have, the high will be the memory usage. Close unwanted tabs and see if that resolves the problem.

3)      Firefox may use more memory that it is supposed to use. If you suspect that is happening then you can use these two helpful add ons:

5)      I found that two tips, that helped me reduce both CPU (prevent CPU overload) and memory consumption: 

 - in the URL field, type about:config

 - locate the Urlclassifier.updatecachemax setting and set it to �

 - locate the browser.cache.memory.enable setting and click to set it to false.

- Right click >> New >> New/Boolean >> enter: config.trim_on_minimize and set to false

Plugin-container.exe  issues

A new exe called Plugin-container.exe  has been introduced in the version 3.6.4. This process is used for handling plugin-requests using the browser.

Many people complain that Plugin-container.exe   is using high-cpu. If that is the problem, then you can use the following method to disable it:

1. Open Firefox, type ‘about:config’ without quotes in the address bar, press enter. You will get a warning, just continue.

2. Change the values of following entries to ‘False’:

  dom.ipc.plugins.enabled

             dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npctrl.dll

             dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npqtplugin.dll

             dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll

             dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.nptest.dll

(To change the value of an entry, right click the entry and click ‘Toggle’ – or Double click)

Note: In Firefox 3.6 releases (3.6.4 and above) the preference dom.ipc.plugins.enabled is already set to "false", by default.

Restart Firefox for the changes to take effect

An update was pushed to the Firefox users by Microsoft in Feb 2009, and you might have seen a new plug-in called Microsoft  .Net framework assistant. 2.       From the right pane, delete the value 20a82645-c095-46ed-80e3-08825760534b

3.       In Firefox, type about:config in the address bar, continue the warning and look for the entry ‘general.useragent.extra.microsoftdotnet’. Right click it and click ‘Reset’

4.       Go to the folder “Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\Windows Presentation Foundation” and delete the folder with the name ‘DotNetAssistantExtension’

Download History

Another reason for a Firefox crash is the download history file. If there’s a problem with the file, it will cause Firefox to crash. How do you fix the problem?

Search for the downloads.rdf file. When you locate it, delete it from your system. You may need to search in your hidden and system files area so that the download history file doesn’t escape your attention.

One of the first questions that comes to mind once you start using Twitter is, how to get more Twitter Followers For Free? Coming from my own experiences and research, I've compiled a list of Twitter tips and resources to help increase your Twitter Followers For Free.

For the many different ways we can utilize Twitter and leverage our Twitter Followers For Free. Whether you want to increase your Twitter Followers For Free for promoting, increasing traffic, business, networking, bragging rights, branding or etc… The more targeted Twitter Followers For Free you have, the better.

However, it's not always a numbers game, it's more about the quality of Twitter Followers For Free you get. A ጤ loyal Twitter Followers For Free who share similar interests and interact with you, would be better than having 2000 Twitter Followers For Free who are either squatters or have no interest in your tweets, right?

I just wanted to post an enhancement of a technique I saw recently that is designed to attract a lot of Twitter Followers For Free. Here was the general idea that was presented:

1. Go to TwitterHolic.com and find out who the top 30 people are by the number of followers.
2. Open their profiles and follow them. This will put you at the top of the list for the number of people following that "Twitter Rock Star". We'll use Oprah as an example:

   

3. Other Twitter users want to connect with people following Oprah (they assume that everone following Oprah is an Oprah fan so they want to connect with those people) so they open up Oprah's list of followers and start following. You are on the first page of that list for a little bit so you get a minimum of 5 to as many as a couple dozen Twitter Followers For Free!
   
4. Force to Unfollow Oprah 5-10 minutes later
   
   and… then refollow her again. You are now back at the top of her list of followers and will get more people following you again.
    
5. Wash/Rinse/Repeat off and on throughout the day as much as every 20 minutes.

So that's the general concept. It's a great technique because you can use up far less than your 1,000 per day follow quota and still attract large number of Twitter Followers For Free. There are a few problems with it that I'm going to help you overcome. They include:

• Refollowing Risks – this entire concept is known as "refollowing" and is a no-no in the Twitterverse. It falls under the "aggressive following" stipulation and can get you banned resulting in all your time and effort being flushed down the drain. You need to effectively hide your tracks in order to make this effective.
• Consistency Problems – the biggest problem to making this work is consistency. Unless you hire someone to do this for you, you run the risk that you won't do it at all in any consistent way, thus destroying it's effectiveness (esp if you are running multiple accounts). Consistency is key to making this work. I'll show you how to work around this.

What you are going to do in order to overcome all obstacles is to setup a series of desktop macros to automate this for you (preferrably on a dedicated computer that is always on) which will enable you to be consistent. You'll also setup some other things to gain Twitter Followers For Free so this is not the only method you are using in order to hide your tracks.

1. Setup a Custom Browser Shortcuts – you need to setup a shortcut icon that will open a FIREFOX browser (you need to use FIREFOX as you'll see at the end) that opens the Twitter login screen. You'll also need to setup a separate shortcut that autoloads 30 separate tabs, each tab being the Twitter URL of one of the top 30 Twitter People.
2. Setup a Desktop Macros – just google "desktop macro" to find some software on this. You'll need to create at least 7 and here they are

   a) Twitter ID Login & Follow – This macro will open your Twitter Login/Logout Browser and will enter you username/password to login for you. Once it's done so it will launch your "Top 30 Follow" Macro.

   b) Twitter ID Login & Unfollow – This macro will open your Twitter Login/Logout Browser and will enter you username/password to login for you. Once it's done so it will launch your "Top 30 UnFollow" Macro.

   c) Twitter ID Login & RANDOM Unfollow – This macro will open your Twitter Login/Logout Browser and will enter you username/password to login for you. Once it's done so it will launch your "Random UnFollow" Macro

   d) Twitter ID Logout – This Macro will open your Twitter Login/Logout Broswer and log your current id out.

   e) Top 30 Follow – this macro will open your Top 30 Twitter People browser and will systematically click the "Follow" button on each tab then close the tab and do the same with the next person until all 30 people have been followed. Once the list is done it will launch the Twitter ID Logout Macro.

   f) Top 30 Unfollow – this macro will open your Top 30 Twtter People Browser and do the opposite of the previous macro…go through each one on each tab and unfollow them. Upon reaching the end of the list it launches the "Twitter ID Logout" macro to log that id out.

   g) Random Unfollow – this macro will open your OWN list of followers and jump to page 5, unfollow two people, jump to page 7 unfollow 2 people, jump to page 10 and unfollow 2 people, then logout. Now you are able to show that you unfollow people throughout the day other than the Top 30. Devious.

3. Setup Your Own Custom Schedule – Let's say you want to do a follow run every hour forever. Here's how you would setup the schedule:

   1:00 pm – Run Your Twitter ID Login & Follow Macro – it would log you into your account and do your follow run, then log out.

   1:30 pm – Run your Twitter ID Login & Unfollow Macro – it would log you into your account and do your unfollow run, then log out.

   1:45 pm – Run your Twitter ID Login & RANDOM Unfollow – it would login and randomly unfollow people on pages 5, 7, and 10 of your following list.

   Wash/rinse/repeat at 2:00/2:30/2:45, 3:00/3:30/3:45, 4:00/4:30/4:45 etc. so that it's going around the clock.

   You can easily average 5 new followers per TopŃ0 ID on each run (150 per run x 12 runs pre day = 1ᗠ) , but you are only using up 12 of your 1,000 follower quota each day. That leaves a lot of following for you yet to do!

4. Mask Your Tracks – here's how you make sure that the Twitter Police doesn't see you as doing this and only this method for which they'll put you in the Twitter Time-Out.

a)- Do NOT AutoFollow in return – sorry if this breaks the ettiquite thing, but you cannot turn this on using any 3rd party service! If you attract 1,800 people per day using this main method then you would quickly burn through your daily follow quota if you auto-follow-back and not be able to mask your tracks by using other following methods!

b)- Twollo – this is a free auto-following service. It's not super reliable, but it is free. Setup some searches here that hunt for terms like "Facebook", "hate", "love", "cell", "dog", "cat" and other common words (hint, you might want to use TARGETED terms here if you are trying to niche your account). It will find people that Tweet these terms and follow a certain percentage of them. Another version of this is Twollow <<< notice the "w" which deoes the same thing but limits the # of searches you can have running at any given time. You can setup a few searches at each one if you want so the API is being access by different providers in order to further hide your trail. So now your account shows you attracting followers using a method other than our main "Top 30" technique.

c)- Unfollow Your Dead Weight - use a tool like Twitter Karma (unreliable), ManageFlitter (semi-reliable but slightly dangerous), or Hummingbird4Twitter, or Refollow (my favorite) in order to unfollow the people who have not reciprocated on your follow. You now show you unfollow in more ways than one.

d)- Your Twitter Presence – should have put this first! Setup a profile with picture, bio, link, and CUSTOM background BEFORE turning on this autofollowing machine. ALSO, use a service like TwitterFeed (not so good – multiposts, TwitterFeed Footprint), or Hootsute (Better – still multiposts, still has footprint, but will also incorporate Adsense for revenue), to stuff RSS feeds into your Tweet stream and generate an active Twitter Presence. You can find plenty of Blog feeds relating to your niche at Alltop. Set these things up at LEAST one day before setting up any autofollowing systems so you have a "real" Twitter ID and not a "spam" id if you get visually inspected.

Ta-daaaa! You can now attract thousands of Twitter Followers For Free every day regardless fo the 1,000 Twitter Followers For Free per day stipulation. Takes time to setup, but these IDs shouldn't get pulled down if you are Tweeting enough.

To take it to the next level you just need to duplicate this for multiple accounts. The only thing you really need to do is create custom versions of your Twitter ID Login & Follow as well as your Twitter ID Login & Unfollow macros and have them running at different times.

If you want to get even MORE fancy on masking tracks, you find yourself a good list of proxies. You install FoxyProxy in Firefox (told you to use Firefox at the beginning of this) and load up your proxies. You then make a note (in excel or whatever) which proxie belongs to which Twitter account. You then edit your Twitter ID & Login macro to first open FoxyProxy settings and select the appropriate Proxy for that account before executing the login. That way each account will always be doing your Top 30 follow runs from a different IP address (as it's all done through your browser)from your other accounts, but it will consistently be using the SAME IP for each account. Snazzy, right?

Of course, once you’ve attracted these Twitter Followers For Free, it’s up to you to keep them by delivering timely, relevant content to the Twitter feed. That part is up to you.

Let me finish however with a quick piece of advice – raw follower numbers are not everything. I personally would prefer to have 100 followers who shared my interests and who were interested in interaction than having 1000 unfocused and uninteractive Twitter Followers For Free.
